Island Fantasy

To me it smells a lot like sugar cane. It’s for sure a fresh and summery fragrance but in a rather sweet kind of way. The smell barely lasts a few hours which is upsetting but not unexpected for a fresh fragrance.

My fave bottle is this & the peach one from her line I had the small bottles it’s also least long lasting from her I think it just goes after 1 minute but it’s a nice tropical smell just not as strong as her others 7/10 🏝️

This perfume, I love The Smell Is, Very Nice, Very citrus but Little Sweet, is very for the Summer

탑노트가 수박이라고 나와있는데 실제로는 잘 안느껴졌어요. 오렌지+망고+레몬 향이 가장 강했습니다! 설명을 잘 못하겠지만 단순히 시트러스에서 끝나는 게 아니라 뭔가 오묘한 향이 같이 느껴져서 좋았어요. 지속력은 약하지만 가격이 저렴해서 괜찮아요🍊🍋🥭

Honeydew Melon! Perfectly ripe, juicy, pale green dewy goodness.

I can’t speak to the perfume but the body spray (which still seems pretty easy to find!), doesn’t have much of a watermelon scent. It has the watery and fruity aquatic feel that you get from watermelon but the citrus fruits are the main event to my nose. I did just realise though, that overall Island fantasy smells like Pineapple to me! Not too sweet but not too sharp…. Like a pineapple smoothie made with mandarin, clementine, watermelon and lots of ice. Not much sugar and I don’t get much of the florals but yeah….. somehow a refreshing pineapple body spray! If you’re after watermelon then Jungle Fantasy is definitely a watermelon freshie!

Sometimes luck hits me as well, and this gorgeous perfume came to me 21st of december -24, and what a great pressie for x-mas that was! I bought this beautiful perfume privat, a full 1.7fl.oz/50 ml bottle, for only 150Nkr/15$, and l just couldn belive my eyes, and thank you so very much to the seller! I have been wanted this green baby for sooo long, and, it is just as you lovers describe it, and, proably l'm suffering of a female Peter-Pan syndrome, because it makes me feel 7 (years) again, and l'm just so very happy, and, I remember l bought John Lennons LP Shaved Fish, when l was 12 ys, because of the sound track IMAGINE, also my very 1st LP ever, and, l still have it, and dreams are for free, and just lmagine if luck strikes all of us, that would be very nice, thanks!

I just got it from Vinted at a very good price. I sprayed it directly and it smelled of watermelon, clementine, sugar cane. After it dried a little, the red berries and mandarin came in, which made it a sweet, chemical watermelon with different fruits, very nice. After 10 minutes, it dried quite a bit. It smells very floral, freesia, jasmine and citrus, which made it a nice, airy floral. Finally, the musky violet that became one with the skin. 6.6/10

I've had this probably since it came out. MULTIPLE backups, for under $20, which I'm sooo glad! These prices now tho! This & Midnight are my only 2 Fantasy loves. Total opposites, love them both. This is THE ONE that shouldn't have been DC'd. I am so curious now about Jungle, which I have never smelled before. I may pick up the Beach in 5 Below, just to see what the deal is with that. I already know it won't be this perfect. I have over 600 perfumes, & LOVE to review my beauties on Youtube. NatalieN on there! Bring this back into production, such a winner!!!!!!

Could only find this in the body mist form. This is great! A super light (assuming the edt is the same just stronger) sugary clementine scent. You get hints of the violet and cupcake in the background, but nothing too much. Will definitely be keeping my eye out for the edt

This review is for the body mist, which is not in the database yet. This is a fizzy watermelon at first, and later becomes a sweet melon. Wow! Very nice summer scent. To be expected from those mouth-watering notes! Sadly, the body mist BARELY lasts at all. Don't know about the perfume because I don't own it and it's too expensive now that it is dis-continued. Sillage is also very weak, but as it is a summer scent, I'll let that go.

Really a shame this one is so expensive second hand and has since been discontinued. It smells great and if you still want your dose of it, get the dupe "Mysterious Beach" at Five Below and pair it with the official mist.

This is a nice alternative to a typical summer fragrance. If you are not into coconut or suntan lotion scents, or aren't crazy about freshies either, this may do the trick for you. It's fruity, sweet, very hot weather appropriate and would be great and refreshing in the heat. I live in the Desert so this type of fragrance is very good for for me since it's over 110 everyday for over 3 months. I know many people don't care for melon or watermelon notes but I like them so this is a win for me. It's hardly a Fantasy flanker as there's no correlation to Fantasy except it's sweet. So far, I haven't met a Fantasy I don't like! My least favorite is probably Midnight with Intense being my favorite or the OG Fantasy when it came out. Also, the body soufflé of Fantasy is very good and the perfect combination of gourmand and fruit notes.

Never listen to its britney beach this scent is so unique and no hint of musk anywhere im acc surprised af so light and reminds me of yasmin from BRATZ

The last thing I need is more perfumes but the idea of collecting these flankers sounds fun. I may have Roja, Initio, Memo, PDM, Xerjoff fragrances, but I still love a good cheapie and being able to collect a line for under $300 sounds enticing. Sadly, I also learned that many of these are DC and of course, means you have to scour and pay stupid $$$ for them, but I guess that's the fun in the chase. I had OG Fantasy when it came out and MF in 2008 or so. I liked OG Fantasy but wasn't crazy about MF, something off about it to me-it seemed syrupy to me. I was able to buy full, complete bottles of Circus, Intimate, and Naked Fantasy on Mercari for $20 total-score. I was also able to buy this flanker for $45 new 100mL the day after I decided to collect these buggers. I also found Fantasy in Bloom NEW on ebay for $45. Seems reasonable. Stage Fantasy,10th Anniversary Fantasy as well as Fantasy Twist (I remember those bottles! Such a fun idea and perfect for throwing in your oversized purse) were also available on eBay currently. I really want Intense and Hidden next. Then i'll pace myself, enjoy the 6 I have, get the twist, and then add Festive and Electric, then Sheer and Candied, and if any of the rarer one's pop up for a good deal, grab those. I heard Sunset was a fave and Rainbow is super hard to find. The fact that these highly rated scents are $20 is mind boggling.

Category: Fruity, tropical, floral. Notes: Sprays on a gorgeous canteloupe melon, quickly accompanied by a juicy and ripe mango. Soon it develops into a more non-distinct fruit punch, where I’m picking up various melons, mango, and perhaps most clearly - pineapple. After a few hours of wear, a faint, round and sweet musk enters the ring, and the syrupy pineapple is mostly drowned out by a light and airy jasmine. Vibe: Tropical holiday. Fruit punch. White beaches and palm trees. Fruit salad. Loin cloth. Bronzed skin. Piña colada. Summer of 2010. Green and yellow. Beach wavy hair. Salty skin. Hot and sweaty. Clean sheets. Sparkling water. Waterfalls. Caribbean waters. Island girl. Sillage: 5/10. This starts out strong but within the hour it dissipates into a near skin scent. I’m trying this in October too which makes me skeptical this would hold up well in the summer heat, when I think it’d be most suitable to wear. Longevity: 7/10. Will definitely last you a good few hours, at least in cold weather. I doubt it’d perform as well in hot weather, but who knows? I’ve got another 7 months before I can test it out… sigh! Wear: A quintessential summer perfume - perfect for a tropical holiday. I’d say this is more of a daytime scent, but would work just as well for evening wear. Overall rating: 8/10. This smells like a tropical fruit smoothie - it is fruity in the start and floral in the dry-down. Probably most accurately described as the scent when you crack open canned pineapple in syrup for the first few hours, and a (in the best way) fabric softener floral after some wear. It is juicy, sweet, ripe and fresh but never overpowering, juvenile or cloying as some of Britneys other perfumes can be. That being said, it is quite generic and very linear. But if you expect complexity from a celebrity perfume you’re probably barking up the wrong tree to begin with. I thought this was a little too fruity at first, but the longer it stayed on the more I ended up liking it... loving it actually. To the point where I could see this becoming an everyday wear at some point, although probably not now during fall and winter. I don’t know if Britney’s perfumes are inspired by her songs, but if this was inspired by any of them it would be Slave 4 U and the sweaty, hot and sexy MV, at least when its still in the top and middle notes. Island Fantasy is a very apt name, and if I had to describe this scent with one word it would be tropical. Who would wear it?: This is what I imagine Rihanna smells like, honestly SUCH an Island girl perfume.

I am collecting Fantasy's perfumes and this is my newest addition, took me awhile to purchase it brand new. It's absolutely lovely light fresh melon or watermelon scent. Can also feel violet and sugar. Doesn't sound to me as any other Fantasy. Really like it. Addicted after wearing it for few days: Sour watermelon citrus scent. It's light and requires many sprays to stay noticable, but it's ok for me. I feel it on myself up to 4 hours and then need to reapply. I am collecting Fantasy fragrances and had to purchase it too for collection, but it's not one of my favorite as I prefer perfumes like original Fantasy or creamy sweet Intimate edition one. This is total opposite, light fresh aquatic and more unisex.

Dear ”Fragranticas” out there…..Well, here I am now sitting with a newly purchased second-hand Island fantasy that I paid a lot for on Ebay. A LOT!!! I had it when it was new on the perfume market (and cheap) Back then I didn't like it because I thought it smelled like a mens aftershave. Now, however, it smells like heaven! Thinking it must be that this used bottle has gotten better over the years and not as incredibly sharp and citrusy as it was when I bought it new. It is absolutely incomparably fantastically good now that I am sitting in a cloud of fragrant happiness! Sending hugs and love from Sweden to all of you perfumelovers! Meow!

Mi segundo favorito de la linea Fantasy (El primero es el Maui Fantasy). Es mi botella #4 de Island Fantasy. Cuando llega el verano es la fragancia que más uso. Diría que es 100% unisex, nunca NADIE me ha preguntado si estoy usando un perfume de mujer. He recibido solo buenos comentarios. En mi piel siento un mix de Sandia y clementina. El único problema es que siendo un eau de toilette dura como máximo 2 horas en piel pero en la ropa si dura 5 a 6 horas. Si encuentras una botella compralo, es una hermosa fragancia veraniega. La botella hermosa con el degradado de los colores. Tengo otras 5 cajas de este perfume de reserva porque con los años será aun más difícil de encontrarla.

I agree with the comment below, this smells like rockmelon at first spritz. Later it turns to a nice musky floral.Easy reach for summer and lovely packaging.

I have the body spray version of this and I enjoy it. This is my easy reach when I am heading out the door to run errands, or off to the gym. Watermelon and citrus are the most prominent for me. The clementine and mandarin brings in a bright tanginess. This is not too sweet and an easy grab. Easy blind buy.

(review for the body mist as the perfume itself is difficult to come by and not as cheap as i’d like) reviews are 100% correct when they say this smells like sour watermelon candy i wanted a cheap fresh body spray for summer and this is good enough lasts zero seconds perfect exactly what i wanted smells like 2014 going into hollister spraying all the body sprays and then leaving bc the clothes were boring UPDATE: i don’t like the spray anymore it’s just too childish and fruity for me i wish i had it in secondary school bc that’s kind of the place this belongs

Wanted to like it, but it smells to masculine-cologne-ish for me. The bodymist has less of that masculine vibe to it and smells ok.

To my nose this smells more like rockmelon rather than watermelon, and citruses. This and jungle fantasy are similar, island is rockmelon and sugared citrus, I can detect red berries but it’s very faint. Jungle is more juicy watermelon forward, I honestly don’t pick up watermelon in this much so if you love watermelon, jungle fantasy is a better alternative. If you love citrus, island is your girl, rockmelon should have been listen as a note.

This is actually a really good quality cheapie summer fragrance. It doesn't last on skin too well but on clothes & hair it does better. This is a very fruity fresh fragrance and lives up to the island fantasy name. It smells like sweet watermelon with sweet ciruses with a floral freesia touch in the background but not that noticeable if at all most of the time. I don't really agree with this being aquatic it's more ozonic because of how fruity it is. Really good for hot days where you don't want something as strong or cloying. Nothing super complex at all but if you're looking for something summery and cheap (cost, it doesn't smell "cheap") this is great.

What a perfect fragrance for summer and spring! Feels like I'm on a tropical island, drinking a delicious juice while enjoying my time there. Unfortunately it's available as Eau de Toilette only but that fits since it's meant to be a fragrance for the warm/hot seasons. The performance is poor, I get about 2-3 hours wearing time. But I can't stop smelling it so I give it a "love" rating and it's one of Britney Spears' more unique fragrances. :)

This starts as fruity: sweet berry and candied watermelon (not a realistic watermelon IMO), with an aquatic feel, and then dries down to pure warmed sugar on my skin (my favorite part). It becomes so sweet, but not cloying, probably because it stays so close to the body. For comparison, this does not smell like Blissful Fantasy, at all to me. Blissful is creamy and much less sweet than Island Fantasy. I like them both.

I know the note isn’t listed but the opening to me is a sharp, tart mango, probably a combo of the watermelon and citrus. It quickly fades into a nondescript ozonic/ aquatic scent. I feel like this would good for the gym.
