Weekend for Men

Very citrusy, very floral and all the while remaining very "90's". Reminds me of the cologne my older cousin used to wear when I was a kid. Nothing special and it leaves you fairly quickly. Good value for money though. 5.2/10

It smells decent, but it's lacking... 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. Mainly smells of citrus peels, so it's a little bitter. Someone said in the comments that somebody told them the perfume smells cheap, and I kinda agree with it. It doesn't have as much depth as I'd like, especially compared to some other popular citruses like eros energy and king. Kinda reminds me of wet wipes as well.

I just saw this in my brothers room and sprayed it two times. None of them lasted more than 2 hours which is pretty bad. Projection doesn't even exist, lets say 15-20 min at best. I looked at the price, it is not so expensive. Lets review the scent itself. I think it smells good by its own but generic. I think most citrus fragrances that people recommend have this thing. They have little bit of differences but someone that smells you wouldn't even feel the difference between them. So i think most of these fragrances just exist for people who are actually into fragrances for themselves. Like for a person that enjoys saying "Oh this one smells like this one but this one is more powdery this ones lemon is more realistic" etc etc. In real life usages no one would care about it but we love doing it. I wouldn't recommend buying it but if you did and it lasts on your skin more, i don't think you would feel bad since it is not that expensive and smells good.

Was a gift from my sister. Smells fresh and citrusy, but very week in projection. Since it's a gift, I never looked into the price. However refreshing to wear in hot and humid weather, doesn't have cloying effect. After Tommy, it's the most uncomplicated fragrance I have.

This perfume was my daily companion throughout high school. It's resh, perfectly suited to the tropical heat, feels youthful, and surprisingly stays adequate amount of time on my uniform. Then came the Indonesian political unrest of 1998. Not long after, it became forever linked in my mind to the loss of friends and neighbors on that fateful day. It turns out trauma isn't triggered only by sounds or images; sometimes a scent can quietly unlock memories you'd rather leave unopened.

Someone told me that this smells very cheaply made.

This is a floral fragrance, and the iris kills this for me (other sites list iris as a note). The heliotrope and lily of the valley don't help at all. And while smell is subjective, there isn't a "bright citrus" anywhere to be found. Any citrus elements are completely flattened, smoothed over by tonka. And the synthetics they use are rack store variety. There are some decent Burberrys out there, but this isn't one of them, at least on a man.

This is very citrusy & lemon tastes fragrance. It’s good casual wear use. It’s good warm day use.

This a decent entry level designer, picked this one up because it slightly reminds me of that citrusy, musky, SMW DNA. It is fairly linear, but that main thing I notice is that super fresh, almost lemon seltzer type citrus. It's green, fresh, and ultra clean, I'd say it has about 60% of that SMW DNA. Quality is decent because the lemon is pretty juicy and photorealistic, but I am also getting vibes of that harsh, synthetic, Bath and Body works Mango Mandarin toilet cleaner mess. This feels like a cross between SMW and that BBW fragrance scent and quality wise. My only gripe is the longevity, while I definitely didn't have my hopes high for a citrus forward designer scent, I think ME clones have just set my bar for "average" performance really high. Honestly if you're looking for a vintage freshie in this ballpark just grab Al Wisam Day or some other SMW clone. This was a decent buy.

The first time I tried it, it was summer, and I loved it right after one puff. You could really smell the bright citrus, but it's not linear or cheap, rather clean. It smells really vintage, and then you get some of the green, like the ivy and the oakmoss. I find it to be a mix of spice and citrus (although it doesn't mention any spice-related notes). Someone said it smells vintage, and I couldn't agree more. It feels clean and relaxed: like playing golf on the weekend, having a hearty brunch, and then chilling by the beach all day. HOWEVER, THE LONGEVITY IS CRAPPY. Like it projects an hour at max with a moderate sillage and then turns into a skin scent that lasts another 3-4 hours. But, if you're okay with re-spraying, you would love this perfume if you like clean, crisp citrusry scents with a hint of spice and green.

Smells vintage but the performance is really bad. After 30 mins the scent is just gone. I dunno if you can't handle fruity or aromatic heavy scents it might be good for you. The scent profile is good tho.

Nice Burberry take on the fresh, clean citrus genre. As others below have said, it’s not super unique or groundbreaking, but it contains enough Burberry DNA to make it interesting and worth a sniff. I take its nominal suggestion and wear it on weekend mornings.

Simple citrus fragrance, nothing out of the ordinary. Moderate performance, unisex leaning male but not that much... If you can find it for cheap it could be worth your money for gym or other short periods of use. Update 11/27: I've sprayed at night and it was still present 8 hours later.

This is legit the worst cologne I have ever smelled in my life. If you are considering blind buying this, just know you will smell like an 80 year old lady in an old folks home. This cologne would better be used as something to get rid of a bad smell in the bathroom. Please, no matter what price, DO NOT buy this. Just because it s Burberry doesn't mean its good. 0/10

Four years ago, I started my perfumes collection journey, and I still remember when my friend who is a pro fragrance collector told me that your nose will be developed until you reach the stage to recognize the fragrance age. This is what is really happening now. I liked Burberry Weekend, but I started to feel its old age after the dry down. I also smell Neroli there, and Polo Earth could be the updated version of this one.

I absolutely love this stuff. I had it 20 years ago and just got it again. It's stronger than I remember too. 9/10. Honestly good performance for a designer.

On paper, it looks great, but in reality, it smells like a bathroom air freshener.

I got it for myself, and my boyfriend loves it. Very floral, it could be considered unisex with its scent profile. I usually buy what I like, and I liked this. It did take a few tries for me to warm up to it, but it is something I reach for when my mood is right.

Nose Note #490 A lot of citruses which are not hugely pretty. But it's overall a pretty common scent. Reminds me of D&G Masculine, but the citruses are less interesting here. I have samples of this from around 2010-2011 and I'm only getting citruses and some honey. Not bad, not bad! Great scent for everyday! 7/10, a daily driver

Great fragrance for a summer day

Fresh, clean, and green. I get mostly a green scent with minimum citrus. The Ivy and oak moss are the most prominent notes for my skin & nose. Simple scent but it’s a nice one. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the smell of plants and the outdoors.

As I read the comment section and seen complaints of kitchen cleaner smell, now I may have to check this out. Some of us love the scent of kitchen cleaner. Everytime I use Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray... I think to myself, I would so rock that to work. It's like, if you took Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Italian Love (men's), removed the woods, make it nuclear. Crystal clear citrus, but not piercing or abrasive. If you know this in applicable fragrance form, shoot me a DM. I might've tried wearing it to work, but after seeing how it dissolves dried cat food, I don't think that'd be a great idea.

This fragrance is pretty cheap at Burlington. Like 34.99 to 39.99. I wasn't impressed at first, but this lasts very long on my fiance. I would say it smells even better after he's worked all day in the shop and comes home. It's like citrusy and freshly cut lawn. It can smell really fresh on some people, but if you don't like a citrus or green scent it's not for you.

I was at Tropical Smoothie Cafe -! And I smelled this on a guy wearing painters jeans and looked he just got off work. He smelled great! I said sir what are you wearing. He whispered Burberry weekend. Wow…I had to try. YUMM I’m in love!!! Fizzly juicy fresh clean!!! That’s it!

Burberry Weekend For Men EDT 100ml provides one of my favourite perfume "moments'. It hits the nose with a power punch of olfactory heaven but then almost instantly disappears in a puff of disappointment. I paid $40 Australian at Chemist Warehouse. Considering it has practically zero staying power, I think that $10 would suffice. John Varvatos Artisan Pure has a lot in common with this perfume, but with much greater sillage and longevity. So, although Burberry Weekend For Men EDT is a love for me, it is only a 2/10 love. Edit. 5 months later, and this has matured considerably. Sillage is actually noticeable now, and longevity is measurable in hours rather than minutes. I shall buy another bottle even though the price is now $60 Australian. Happily it is now a 7/10 love for me.

Old is gold one of the best 90s colognes super fresh

This is the worst fragrance I’ve ever experienced. I purchased this weekend as a blind buy and greatly regretted that decision. It smells like household cleaner and is repulsive. I ended up throwing this away.

It is uncommon for a well-priced designer to make a little-used fragrance component the foundational player in a fragrance. But Weekend does it. The component is ivy. More green and bitter than artemesia/wormwood, it plays a beautiful counterpoint to the bright lemon accord, bolstered by oakmoss.
