Black Phantom

Very sweet smell, it hits with a lot of the rum note at first (along with a hint of a burnt sandalwood?) before settling down into the chocolate and coffee notes. I enjoy it a lot for night time, it leaves a sort of film after being sprayed on that I didn't enjoy all that well in humid weather.

Long lasting, dark perfume, like it very much. Affordable and I would say 90% similar perfume is French Avenue - Spectre Wraith.

This smells like old milk and liquorice. Pass

I tried everything in Bloomingdale’s 70+ niche bottles and this one got me coming back to Kilian

A legendary and unique fragrance, but only for winter and autumn.

The rum comes off really strong off the top note, as it drys down on my skin I get mainly Tonka bean and a somewhat to burnt caramel smell that’s surprisingly pleasant. I could honestly only wear this at night and maybe I need another run to see how I feel about it overall but it’s sub par for me this time around

Deep, sensual, mysterious, yet sexy gourmand profile. I absolutely would not wear this during the daytime only at night, though it is mysterious it smells incredibly sweet. The note that’s most prominent is the dark chocolate. It literally smell smells edible.

The scent is marketed as a 'Memento Mori,' thinking a dark, visceral meditation on death. Yet, the reality is far more mundane: it doesn't smell like a philosophical abyss, but like a ghost of the 90s. More monternized.It evokes the haunting, familiar scent of an elderly aunt long since departed ,a reminder that mortality isn’t always gothic or grand. Sometimes, death is simply the persistence of memory clinging to the fading scents of those we have outlived. Also it has a very old school note in base that i have washed 3 times doesn't get off my skin and i hate it and i wonder what that note is.

It’s like fruity liquorice on my skin.

Type of date night Gourmand where you can go out to dinner and when your girl comes in for a hug so well melt into your arms around you and wont let go. Sits closer to the skin, wont overwhelm you like other Beast mode parfumes. This is what i want for cuddle nights and close intimitet moments with special people.

In this fragrance, I can hardly smell anything besides hazelnut — warm, lightly roasted and reminiscent of freshly baked pastries. Just bought it and i can say its very sweet and a bit sticky!lots of chocolate in the beginning but dark chocolate not milk!I personally love it!!!

Smoky Smoky Smoky... Dark- (almost Burnt Rubber Fire Vibes).. Lots of Smoke & Woods to me. I'm so shocked the notes list Chocolate & Caramel. Highly Shocking even lol. This was just straightup Smoky/ Dark/ Masculine. Finish.

Very synthetic and ghastly opening. So bad I had to wash it off. I regret buying the sample and it made me nauseous for the whole day. The washed off residue on my wrists smelled fine though. Not sweet or gourmand at all btw! There's this super strong cigarette/gasoline smell which lingers on throughout the whole way. NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY.

Black phantom by Kilian is a dark, smoky, sexy and mysterious fragrance. A unisex fragrance, that kick things off strongly with rum, like a person who means serious business, and don't let the chocolate and caramel notes fool you, it's still a dark fragrance, a serious one that like a black phantom, doesn't want to be noticed, it's subtle, waiting for it to be recognised, and when it is, it lingers in you nose, in your thoughts, it's addictive and even a little playful with the strong chocolate accord, regardless of its' dark nature. It smells like the boss of an underground business, operating in the shadows and effectively completing his tasks while also expecting all of his orders to be executed. It lasts very long on skin, for about 8 hours while its' projection is moderate and that was exactly what Kilian wanted out of this fragrance, not easily noticed (projection) and a presence that lasts (longevity), like a ghost, THAT is black phantom. If you like dark, smoky and mysterious fragrances, this one is the one to go for.

I recently gave this second chance. Initially, I wasn’t sure about it when I first sprayed it on—not that I disliked it, but it didn’t immediately appeal to me. However, after having it for a good few months and revisiting it today, I’ve come to really appreciate it. The coffee note is very prominent right away, accompanied by a hint of caramel. At first, I found the scent a bit too sweet and overpowering, but that impression has softened over time. I’m glad I decided to give it another try, especially since it’s quite an expensive fragrance.

insanely sexy (but unisex!) smells like a salted dark chocolate caramel + creamy sandalwood and flowers. i can definitely catch the rum and coffee but they're very well blended! i kept going back in to smell my arm up close and i could really smell the caramel. texted a friend when i tried it and as it developed i compared it to the cappuccino flavor of kopiko (the indonesian coffee candy) i love it but its definitely not a blind buy, do sample if you can :)

I’m glad I’m not the only one. This smells like a casino. Moldy carpet, cigarettes, ozone, and yeah sure. Chocolate. Exactly what I want with my moldy cigarette.

Deep bitter - sweet caramel, yes the opening is very rich and might be overwhelming, but then transitions into a dark, very well balanced, smoky scent. Top.

It starts off as being really suffocating, smelling like mold, but then it ends up smelling like dark chocolate mixed with some sugar mixed with the powderiness of wheat flour. What a complicated scent. It has an extreme high risk of becoming cloying real quick. Buy with extreme caution. Test first!

in the opening it smells like dampness, like when there's moisture or water stuck in your walls; it has a moldy, suffocating opening, to my nose and multiple others' when i asked, but after like 30 minutes it develops into a nice dark chocolate and sugarcane heavy scent, the opening is just horrendous

I loved the smell of Sabrina Carpenter's Me Espresso, but it only lasted about 10 minutes on my skin and clothes. After some research, this was a popular and recommended "coffee" scent. Even the scent notes sounded perfect for me. So I made a blind buy. This is definitely a unique, boozy scent. Not exactly disappointed with it, but it DID teach me a lesson on dropping that much money on a blind buy. It definitely projects AND lasts, BUT it smells different to me and those around me each time I wear it. Sometimes it smells more like spiced rum, sometimes like a spiked mocha coffee, and sometimes like a plastic caramel scented trash bag. That being said, I have received more compliments on this scent than any I've ever owned. Not my personal favorite of my collection, but it's my most expensive and complimented. And it's great for nights out where I wanna feel sexy and dangerous. Just not a daily scent.

as an coffe glazer italian this is just too beatiful dark mysterius sweet coffe scent, i don't get that much the rum but doesn't change thew fact that is beatiful, longevity and projection is also good

After some days with this it has instantly gone to my top 3 parfume. This might be worth getting the 250 ML and own this DNA for life. It is that good. Gonna gate keep it.
