I was hoping for more honey but the florals do somewhat overpower it. On the initial spray the honey and vanilla is so sweet you can taste it, but dries down into a lottt of floral in a way I can't quite put my finger on. Love her, but she's just not exactly my type...
It’s smells like it’s trying to be sweet but something bitter and medicinal is hold it back and I can’t put my finger on what it is! To me it’s not the worst smelling thing but it could be better!
There’s very little to object to here. It’s effortlessly likable, charmingly inoffensive, and almost impossible not to enjoy. “Can’t Stop Loving You” has somehow evolved into “Can’t Stop Sniffing Myself;" a quietly addictive composition of orange blossom and honey, sweet without becoming cloying, and utterly charming in its simplicity
Smells like colok. The scent that u can smell when visiting hindu or budhist temple. If u are a pious follower of buddhism or hinduism, this perfume is for u. U can smell religious all the time at anytime and any day
smells like a medical assistant at an urgent care in the part of town where houses are bigger and people are fewer. you dont know her from the care center, you met her at a white elephant christmas party she dragged her chubby 7 year old and rowdy 3 year old boy to. she wasn't very nice, but you wouldnt be either if you were her. little do you know, she powers up and morphs into a supermega ultra b!tch the second she sits down at her pinked-out work desk.
Disclaimer: I haven't actually smelled this fragrance. I just noticed that paradisone was listed in the note pyramid and wanted to give a quick perfumery lesson. Also the name reminded me of the lyrics of the best MJ song (Break of Dawn). But whatever. Here's my attempt at making perfumery sound interesting. It seems like a lot of people here are upvoting paradisone in the notes and discussing it in reviews without really knowing what it is. Paradisone is a captive aromachemical developed by Firmenich, and it's essentially an isomer of hedione. The easiest way to think about it is "hedione turned up a notch." It's like a more diffusive, radiant, punchier version. Hedione and paradisone are the same thing except the atoms are arranged differently in paradisone. The important thing, though, is that paradisone isn't really a "note." Like hedione, paradisone is only ever used as a fragrance modifier, fixative, and solvent. Its role is to add lift, radiance, and space to a composition. It helps other ingredients breathe, smooths rough edges, and can help boost projection. If you were to smell this fragrance with and without paradisone, you could easily smell the effect this material has on the fragrance, but that's different from smelling it as a distinct note. Materials like hedione, paradisone, and Iso E Super behave more like the canvas that supports the painting rather than the paint itself. Even though they're extremely important to give fragrances depth and lift, unless you have a very trained nose or are smelling them in isolation, you're far more likely to notice what they do than what they smell like. If you're wondering why I just wrote 3 paragraphs about paradisone, honestly, so am I. Congratulations if you made it through my completely unnecessary TED Talk. Carry on and enjoy the fragrance.
The opening is very oakmoss and incense heavy on me, quite an old-fashioned scent. In the 90s, my mother's signature perfume was Guerlain's Mitsouko and it reminds me of that. As it settles, a little of the honey comes through and occasionally some of the floral notes, but mostly oakmoss. Very unisex, a man could wear this easily. Not sure this one's for me!
I get why it smells like moss on some people, when it works - it's perfect, my favorite Kilian. When it doesn't work with skin chemistry, it does smell like something went wrong. It is very elegant for those whose skin it fits, my wedding go-to perfume, smells sweet and luxorious. Blossom and honey are not a revolution, but it is so well put that on the right person it just smells heavenly.
This is a funny perfume for me. I tried it at sephora and obsessed about it. I got it and didn’t like it as much. It smells like warm fresh bread to me. Which is not a bad smell but… im not sure if I want to smell like that. i have Tribeca and BR540 similar DNA but way better. To me: 1.- Tribeca (by far) LOVE IT 2.- BR 3.- cant stop loving you. And NO i wouldn't buy it again but I like having it, its pretty bottle pretty name and good scent for going to bed.
Can’t Stop Loving You is a true treasure and very close to becoming my signature scent. It opens with a damp, earthy nuance — like moss and wet woods after rain — refined and atmospheric rather than heavy. As it develops, it blooms into luminous white florals wrapped in rich honey, with a soft, warm vanilla sweetness in the base. Mysterious, elegant, and truly unique within the line.
Nothing I could write about this perfume matters because it doesn’t last over an hour. It’s a truly narcotic milky white flower that reminds me of honeysuckle without being cloying. The dry down is also very pretty but much quieter. Then it’s gone with a whisper. Not worth the price. going to try to find a dupe that lasts. Or just give in and finally buy a full bottle of by Angels Share yummmmm
I know this is a bit in reverse, since Kilian launched this perfume in 2023, but this one made me think Ard Al Zaafaran Dar Al Hae New Also Roberto Cavalli.
My skin chemistry is weird. Orange blossoms smells like tortillas on my skin ( didn’t know orange blossom was chill like that, I’m Mexican ) but in this instance - it’s a burnt tortilla! With honey . Not my jam lol but I’ll keep testing
So I have just got the vial sample from sephora and immediately my mind goes to: this is sintra but something’s off. So I recall the sensation of the foul dry down as “middles eastern dupe perfume” it smells somehow synthetic compared to Memo Sintra. So in short, it smells like Memo Sintra if Middle Eastern perfume company dupe it, smells cheaper than the original, not softer, just weaker and off than the Sintra one, longevity is around 2 to 3 hours, projection quite intimate. For that price tag, I would rather spend a lil bit more for Memo Sintra.
I just love this perfum ! The opening is a luminous orange blossom that melts into a soft honeyed heart, before settling into vanilla and oackmoss that add depth and warmth. So sexy, elegant and feminine. To me it doesn't smell like LDS, they only share the orange blossom note. Here, everything is smoother, less sugary, this perfume is refine. ,It's effortlessly captivating. It's the kind of scent that enters the room without screaming yet draws every gaze. There is a magnetic quality to it, like someone who doesn't seek attention but somehow becomes impossible to ignore you just attracted, a gentle innoncence that seduce you without a word. I've truly fallen in love with this perfume. It's so perfect for a romantic date night. Unlike other Kilian perfumes, the longevity and sillage are good. Not a blind buy, but if love orange blossom and white florals, you might really like this one.
my favorite & my signature perfume- sexy, feminine but also unisex. sweet and has a good base of oakmoss & resin. I disagree that white florals are the lead here- very honeyed and sensual and the moss & resin linger on the skin hours in. Very popular with men when I wear it (I work at an upscale gentlemen’s club). To me it’s like a feminine alternative of TF tobacco vanille; not in that the notes are the same, but the atmosphere of raw and deep sensuality. I recommend sampling it at a department store: spray yourself and walk around to let it mingle with your skin for hours to see how the top notes give way to the base. I did this and kept smelling myself, had to buy this: “Can’t stop loving you” rings true. Classy and animalistic sex in a bottle. And cheap on fragrancenet. Wanna gatekeep this but so good
Weirdly woody on me? Much more unisex than I expected based on the notes listed. I think my nose doesn't like paradisone. Glad this was a freebie for me but sad because I really like the other notes. Body chemistry is crazy yo.
Blossoms and honey. Can't go wrong
Can't Stop Loving You is described on my carded sample as "An orange blossom underlined with black khôl, insanely magnetic," and that is actually pretty accurate! Opens with a stunning blast of airy, citrus-y, natural smelling orange blossom. The feeling of orange blossom stays around for a long time, but is quickly joined by a rich chorus of honey and grainy, leathery labdanum. Oakmoss and a light dose of incense make for a sturdy and interesting base and stop the fragrance from going too sweet. I think it's potentially unisex, but I tend to think of everything as being unisex. This was released in 2023 but there's not very much hype around it. I'm repeatedly impressed by the way By Kilian fragrances take classic perfume structures and spin them with a tasteful gourmand element, but manage to keep things sophisticated. I'm pretty taken with this one!
This is a bit of a weird description, but I find it a little hard to define - This opens with a 'Wham!'.. like jasmine and orange blossom have plugged themselves into a ring-light. Bright, buzzy, a little too “high-pitched” for my skin’s liking — almost like it’s singing soprano at me? Does that make any sense? Give it ten minutes though and it melts into this gorgeous honeyed, creamy warmth that’s genuinely stunning. If the opening didn’t shriek “GOOD MORNING!” quite so enthusiastically, it’d be in my top 5, but it is still pretty up there on the list. In a sentence: Beautiful fragrance… just a bit loud before it remembers its indoor voice. Sample first!
Начало загадочное сладкое и слегка ладоновое. Потом раскрывается приторной сладостью. И даже не смывается мылом.
Classy, sophisticated, and timeless. A masterpiece in its own time. The orange blossom here is the star. It is dripped in honey and it is the most smooth, well-blended honey I’ve ever smelled in perfumery. I am also intrigued by the incense note here, which is very suave and never too much. If I had to define this scent in one phrase it’d be: blended to perfection. Of course it had to be Alberto Morillas. What a genius this man is!
I wanted to love this so badly. The orange blossom is juicy and LOVELY but the perfume is ruined by the honey. It’s just way way way too sweet. I love oakmoss and frankincense, but I don’t detect any earthy grounding to this whatsoever. It’s very similar to LDBS, but somehow even sweeter. Maybe if they come out with a mossier, fresher, green reformulation I could get on board with this. But to everyone else that can pull this off, enjoy! 😉
The scent is sweet but in an elegant way; not candy-like, more of a warm honey-vanilla with a hint of wood. It has something soft and cozy about it, perfect for cooler days. There’s a touch of BR540 in it, but it’s gentler. On me, the longevity is very good and the projection is balanced — noticeable but not overpowering. The fragrance has class and a unique warmth.
Amazing stuff. And something exciting for me, as the orange blossom in here smells like the orange blossom in Beach Hut Man. I've never found another perfume that had that exact same feel to that note. This is up there with Fahrenheit 32 and Fleur du Mâle as a top orange blossom perfume IMO.
A nice feminine fragrance that opens with a nice creamy white floral and orange citrus scent with a honey and vanilla like sweetness, then there is a slight balsamic/ambery feel in there somewhere too which is amazing. Feels nicely blended and luxurious. I like it as a guy
I really really like this fragrance, I think it is very special and such a classy scent, but there are 2 things holding me back from buying it. One is that my husband doesn't like it and I don't want to spend so much money on something that he dislikes, and the other thing is the longevity. Is this was a beast mode parfum I would see the price justified but it disappears from my skin in only a few hours. It is a bit interesting for me, at the beginning I smell it so strong it is almost overbearing, but after a while from one moment to the other it completely disappears. I wish it opened a bit less intense but stayed longer.
This is my favorite honey fragrance. It's warm, very very slightly spiced (VERY slight), just mostly ooozy, delicious, velvety honey, with a pretty, bright kick from the white floral opening. Just love it.
Very spicy on opening for some reason, then the oakmoss dominates and makes everything a medicinal bitter. There’s the tiniest hint of something resinous. It changes character until it’s similar to Burberry Her’s synthetic kiwi dentist office. Really weird on my skin. Little hints of caramel appear in conjunction with everything else? What?
