C Everytime i try a new flanker from the 212 line i get blown away… i’ve probably never experienced rum in fragrances before i think i’ve smelled it in velvet orchid TM but it wasn’t as prominent I always see 212 vip testers in stores but they’re always finished or broke So that’s the first time I actually smelled it properly I got into that store as usual walked straight to the CH counter [my fav brand] I found the 212’s and the vip was one of them Fortunately the vip bottle was broke and Almost just ALMOST finished there was just a bit And the sprayer head also was missing So i said oh hell nah i ain’t gonna get out of dat store without trying it again properly i need to know what this shit smells like Guess what ! Even the testers strips were finished FROM THE WHOLE STORE I said bruh that ain’t gonna stop me either I got 2 scent strips from another store got back to the perfume shop tried to spray it on the strip but the tip was missing the head sprayer so it hurts when i try to press the tiny white tip that spits I endlessly tried every possible way it was so hard but i happily managed to literally make the strip wet with all of the left bits in the bottle Ohhh my gaaaah that’s SOOO UNIQUE I was getting a woody patchouli like woodiness without any earthiness basically woody rum Then the sharp woodiness which Im really into developed and turned softer and the gardenia started to smell more noticeable with just hues of fruitiness from the passion fruit its not strong or even noticeable at all Then u’ll just be left with vanilla musk and gardenia at the end and the vanilla here is one of the best vanilla notes i’ve ever experienced Its really addicting and creamy a bit similar to the ones used in good girl but here its much better So its a boozy vanilla musky white floral scent With an absolute strong projection as we are used to from CH

Definitely not for me :( A girl in college smelled amazing, classy and beautiful and she told me she was wearing this. I tested it and all I project is musk. I can't smell neither the rum, nor the passionfruit. Musk just engulfed everything. If your skin is like mine and picks up on musk like that, beware! But maybe you like this, so do try it on skin first because on paper it smells pretty nice

the first whiff is reminiscent of burned hair in a curling iron but it settles down into a fruity floral. doesn't last long, however.

I'm happy to see and know people liking this but to me this is the most repulsive smell. too strong I am on day three after having sprayed it and can't get rid of it. to me it also has that aftershave smell that it develops into it is too masculine for my taste and too suffocating for my lungs I was excited about the rum boozy note but this is too cloying for me.

The rum is AMAZING, a sweet perfume but smell really expensive. I smell mostly rum, vanilla. I didnt smell the pasion fruit or the gardenia (I was kinda scary bc those note are not my personal favorite) a really clasical perfume that never misses!

This smells like something Rihanna would create. It reminds me of all the stiletto good girls have been sprayed in the air all mixed together. I do like it. I can see how some have said it’s nothing memorable but it is easy to wear and a little strong for those who don’t want a light aquatic or fruit salad or juvenile perfume it has enough sweetness but enough musk to avoid smelling like celebrity perfume.

my childhood in a bottle, i was more into feminine scents when i was young and i tried this once and i never wanted another perfume used it for few years and loved it until i out grew it.

OMG! This is pure addiction in a bottle! Sweet, tropical, and juicy!

It's a light and delicate scent of vanilla and tonka beans. I think it's a soft, feminine and beautiful fragrance. I hoped to smell more rum, but for me it's at the background. You can't say "Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum." This is a floral-vanilla scent, pleasant to wear. It is suitable for both winter and summer. Longevity and sillage is good, but I have to renew it during the day. At the beginning I can smell light alcoholic notes, smoothly and very gently transforming into beautiful flowers and vanilla. It's a beautiful scent for day and night. The bottle 50 ml is gorgeous as well!

This scent is VERY reminiscent of many perfumes produced by AVON. I'm not saying that the scent is bad, but it definitely has associations with those eau de toilette perfumes. If you're looking for something unique, this scent is not for you. The aroma is really not that impressive, the scent is similar to many other perfumes. The scent is also more suitable for mature women than for young girls.

This is probably the best women's perfume. At least it's in the top 5.

Something about it brings me comfort and happiness. Also appreciate the uniqueness, cool bottle and great lasting power. Great for wintertime nights out.

O rum encorpado e amargo, com o cítrico do maracujá dá uma sensação achicletada e sinto o almíscar animalico, sujo, de uma forma muito positiva. Um corpo atalcado e doce! Em mim atalca muito. Maduro e sofisticado, verdadeiro perfume doce com cheiro de mulher poderosa. É um dos que mais evoluem na minha percepção e eu AMO isso! No calor o animalico pode gritar e ficar com cheiro de pele suada que caiu bebida alcoholic , tá aí a vibe balada que vendem rs. Mas pra mim, parece Natal.

I had smelled this perfume from my sister collection, warm clean fragrance but not have sweety enough to satisfiy me. I think it's not have something special. This perfume isn't my type of perfumes, but surley it lasts along. I think this fragrance have the same vibes of "Gucci Guilty", but "Gucci Guilty" have more fruity, amber and Patchouli ingrediants. If you didn't smell this perfume before, I advise you to not blind buy. This Fragrance didn't suitable for majority of people, needs someone interest this fragrance or someone don't prefer gourmand or sweety perfumes. أعرف رائحة هذا العطر لأنه من مجموعة عطور أختي، رائحة دافئة ونظيفة ولكن لا تمتلك رائحة حلوة غنية شهية كافية لإرضائي. أعتقد أنه لا يحتوي على شيء مميز، هذا العطر ليس من نوع العطور المفضلة لدي، ولكن بالتأكيد يدوم طويلاً. أعتقد أن هذا العطر له نفس أجواء "جوتشي غيلتي"، ولكن "جوتشي غيلتي" يحتوي على المزيد من المكونات الفاكهية والعنبر والبتشولي. إذا لم تشم هذا العطر من قبل، أنصحك بعدم شرائه شراءً أعمى. هذا العطر غير مناسب لغالبية الناس، يحتاج إلى شخص مهتم بهذا العطر أو شخص لا يفضل العطور الغنية الشهية أو الحلوة.

A blind buy that was quite disappointing. I expected something much sweeter and more vanilla-dominated. It's quite sharp and alcoholic, the dry-down is not that bad though. Doesn't last very long. I've found a way to wear and enjoy it - by layering it with a perfume body oil I have (pure vanilla) but I definitely won't repurchase.

There was a girl in middle school who pretended to be my friend but was a really unpleasant person to have around. I remember going to her house at sleepovers and she would show me this perfume in her mother's bathroom -- I found it really expensive-looking, therefore fascinating. I remember seeing her at parties after that, smelling like 212 VIP. It feels very pathetic to me now in retrospect, a little girl caking her face with makeup and wearing her mom's perfume. But at the time I thought she was the coolest thing on planet earth.

I genuinely get Paco Rabanne 1Million vibes from this :) And no, not because of the bottle color :D

I want to love this but I just don’t. The notes pulled me into a blind buy that I just don’t reach for much. It’s got a blast of alcohol to kick off, then a spicy vanilla-y dry down - which sounds great, but just doesn’t feel very distinct. On the plus side, it lasts for a decent time and the notes sustained throughout the day. I love other Carolina Herrera perfumes but this one isn’t my favourite. I couldn’t pick it out from a line-up. Edit: I’ve been a bit hasty in my original review - this is a fantastic perfume for autumn/winter months. It’s spicy, warm and quietly persists for hours. Will I repurchase? Maybe, actually.

Lol I am so glad I just bought a tester of this fragrance. No offense if anyone like this but I looked at the notes and thought ok right up my alley. A boozy floral vanilla. NO. If you think this is going to be vanilla floral rum nice smelling fragrance look elsewhere. This smells very mature & not for someone who's looking for a gourmand type of scent. Smells like pure white musk to me.

I got this as a present few years ago and it became the only perfume I reach for whatever the weather, season etc .. There are perfumes I can only wear certain moods , times of the year.This one I could wear all the time . It is elegant , the rum is beautiful and the way it all settles into vanilla and tonka bean is just sublime. I had 212 VIP sexy and found it very boring . I had 212 which was ok .. clean floral and all that but tbis one is memorable and elegant and sexy or at least for me. I would say the best way to describe it is elegant.. Also you have to give it time on your skin.. and it doesn’t perform greatly on paper tester .. Longevity is at least 6, 8 hours on me and on clothes like scarfs litterally until you wash them but I am an oversprayer .. sillage is great too ..

This is going to sound weird but this reminds me of a Barbie doll I had as a kid . Barbie came with some glitter gel for her hair and it smelled like this perfume 🤩 I had that Barbie on a summer holiday so it is a positive memory .

At first, it hit me strongly and I thought I won't like it buuut I was so wrong :) One of my favorite fragnance after so many years. Perfect for cold weather, long duration - I can spray it on around lunchtime and still smell it the next morning. Great great great.

This smells like a very sexy Cuba libre cocktail in the best way, but replace the lime with the passionfruit. Also it layers beautifully with pure xs by rabanne.

I really like this fragrance! I think it's both fresh and warm, also sweet with a kick. However, be careful to not overspray this one. I did that once at work (I work in healthcare lol oopsie) and it bothered me my entire shift. Haven't worn it since, because I now have that memory connected to it lol. If it's was one of the only perfumes I had, I would have definitely worn it again tho. It's just that I have such a big collection, so I had an excuse to skip it lmao.

warm rum in your throat & vanilla with passionfruit

For me it’s not sweet at all, such a strong scent, I do not like this…

212 VIP smells like a delicious sweet rum cake, like a vanilla sponge cake soaking and seeping in a sweet sugared liquid rum sauce with a layer of carmelized sugar drizzled on top. Vanilla cake… sweet sugary rum reduction… carmelized sugar coating… delicious! Yum! Update: I also detect a hint of apple cider vinegar or apple brandy?... some type of apple liqueur note that reminds me of Kilian Angel's Share perfume.
