this is one of the worst release by Carolina.. booziness mixed with freshness gives me headache... it is not a good idea

This smells exactly like one of those giant sugar cookies with pink frosting. I hate gourmands, and was not expecting that from this fragrance. A complete fail for me. This is not what I would consider a freshie at all. Beware.

212 VIP Men is one of my favorite fragrances ever and it was an instant love for me. If you enjoy fresh scents, but not the boring “shower gel” type of freshness, this one makes a lot of sense. The opening is fresh, slightly fruity and spicy, with that recognizable vodka-like effect that gives me an almost metallic, clinically clean feeling. That cold, sharp start is honestly one of the best parts. After it sits on the skin for a while, it gets even better. It becomes smoother, warmer and more pleasant, while still keeping that fresh character. I also received compliments quite often while wearing it, which makes sense because it is very easy to like. For me, this is definitely a safe blind buy, especially if you like fresh, masculine scents with a clean, slightly metallic edge. It is modern, pleasant and very wearable.

212 VIP Carolina Herrera is a very pleasant fragrance; the vodka note adds a modern and fresh touch. It has a balanced and enjoyable character, suitable for daily wear and social occasions. Its scent makes a statement and leaves a memorable impression.

It has a vague synthetic sweetness to it but there isn't any character to it and has the strength of a deodorant. From what I'm reading the reformulation must have really done a number on this one. I regret buying it.

despite being a 2011 creation, it does hold quite well today as a youthful and interesting scent, very unfortunately weak, with a pretty much non existant projection. if a niche house were to take these notes and blend them with the niche style, i believe it would make for a very special scent. that being said, each new formulation seems to get weaker and weaker. 212 black is most certainly better choice as it still has some redeeming qualities, given that people can actually smell it on you.

212 VIP tried multiple batches including stuff in stores throughout 2025 // and own 2017 versions // 💪 all exceptionally strong - differences are minor. Still has that characteristic sour Vodka alcohol note that pops in the top and mid of the fragrance. Most of the notes are blended and not as distinct as you might expect - and there is a creamy smoothness to the whole fragrance. Loud and boisterous. Back in the day it was their attempt to capture some of the clubbing market from Paco 1 million and Versace Eros. 3/5 overall ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ - but higher if used in a club environment.

There are some differences in 2025 version compared to 2017- 2018 period. I feel that the density of alcoholic notes were a little reduced and it got more powdery character for me. Still good but it lacks old sharpness and dominant boozy notes.

This is one of my 2 favorite fragrances. I hadn't bought it for a long time and just got a new bottle. The original scent has slightly changed, and the performance has weakened incredibly. Is it really the same for you too? This is really sad for me I loved this perfume so much.

I bought a bottle some years ago, been sitting in my basement cabinet. Now unleashing this on my wrist became the most divine and intruiging smell to me. I'm not sure if fragrance can macerate into being more fresh than they were or if my brain is playing tricks, but this is no longer brown leather but angelicly fruity. 10/10 to my nose now.

A cool masculine fragrance you absolutely can tell it's from 2010's which i enjoy a lot and i love the era. I don't recommend this to people that are younger than 22-23.

Got it as a gift. Very warm and spicy overall pleasant smell, definitely a fall or winter scent. Masculine and hard to miss smell, perhaps its not for everyone but I like it.

Starts off fresh and fruity then dries down into something that kinda smells like you used a passion fruit juice for a chaser with vodka and then squeezed a lime on it to a somewhat fresh vanilla. Atleast to my nose. Doesn't last though

Honestly don't know why I bought this. I guess my crippling fragrance addiction got the best of me 2 years ago when I saw this. It is not a bad fragrance per se. It s a good mix of fresh and sweet, which we all know makes for a mass appealing scent. It's a little boozy, a little woody some fruit, you know the deal, your average designer. If you are a fragrance beginner you will most probably be into this. It will likely get you some compliments as well but to me it was a waste of money. The longevity is about 6-7h with medium sillage.

Warm, aromatic non fresh coconut linear scent. This could be a solid fragrance for a Black or Latin/Hispanic guy. Not really a party vibe scent as marketed. It's not unnatural. Smells pre 2010 in vibe.

Top notes you scent the pepper/ginger but it settles into a lovely smooth fragrance been wearing it nearly all day and I like it alot, the vodka comes through after it settles, definitely a kinda fresh and spicyness and a solid 8.5/10

The Smell is so wonderful like you wouldn't wanna take it off but the longevity isn't good. But it's worth buying. ❤️

lotta ppl bash 1 million and this for smelling generic but i have yet to smell anything that smells of that realistic non suede leather in many fragrances. This leather note that im mentioning here isnt a harsh weird superamber-esque concontion like in tom fords nor a rubbery plasticy fake leather; unlike most of the scents that feature leather note. Leather is prominent on my skin and it smells like a realistic but really clean non suede leather (after its chemical plastic vibes disappear used for curing) mixed with clean male-skin musks + some sweetness that doesnt smell like a baby powder galore.

wonderful fruity, citrus , herbal, peppery aromatic blast on the opening with a sharp metallic vodka note in a good way smoothed out by a nice woody and amber base and there is a nice ginger and mint combo in there too. Can definitely see it for a night out but a good easy reach for all occasions and seasons. Very masculine and well rounded scent. A really superb scent.

An enticing scent for a night out! Back in 2016, I bought a 200ml bottle of this fragrance, which was extremely popular for clubbing, alongside Paco Rabanne 1 Million and Versace Eros. The scent is pleasantly powdery, sweet, minty, and slightly boozy, with a hint of something reminiscent of coconut, even though coconut isn’t listed in the notes. It projects well and lasts about 6 to 8 hours on my skin. Just a heads up: getting too close might give you a headache. Overall, it’s a nice and safe choice for colder weather.

Good fragrance that is, in my opinion mass appealing. It smells fresh spicy, and has a bit of an aromatic kick. You can smell slightly the passionfruit, however I can’t smell the vodka or gin note, maybe I’m nose blind. I can smell the pepper, a bit of ginger, and mint. On the dry down I definitely get some amber not that helps it smooth out. This fragrance is good all year, maybe not when it’s like 30-35 degrees Celsius with the sun hitting you, if so maybe a couple of sprays, but in all honesty, the vibe of this fragrance is a summer night out to a club. I already got compliments from it.

Pleasant and sweetish, but a little bland. Good for casual use.

So far there is only one other scent that I have sampled and immediately purchased afterward. In comes the second. Instant contender for my signature scent. Green, but sweet. Designer, but unique. Powdery, but fresh. Subtle, but risky - clean, but confident. This scent excels at being the right amount of everything I want in a fragrance. The green and powdery slant of this DNA is paired with sweetness for mass appeal, but backed up with vodka and lime to keep it unique and uplifting. There is a mystery about this that is hard to find in other designers, especially given it's very affordable price. It is youthful without being immature. It is not appropriate for all occasions, but will be a great fit for many, and lasts a decent amount of time. The projection leaves something to be desired after the first hour, but it couldn't be more worthwhile in this case. My favorite from CH Men.

Un clasico y se sabe porque lo es. Una fragancia versatil que abre con un limon picante que despues pasa a la parte alcoholica y especiada del perfume debido a sus notas de gin y vodka y termina con un ambar que lo vuelve un poco mas dulce pero igual siendo fresco. Muy masculina y atrae muchos cumplidos, lo malo es su duracion y lo perreada que esta.
