smells like something a rich white grandma would wear. disgustingly floral, overwhelming to the nose.

An innocent, fresh, and feminine floral that simply makes me smell pretty and feel young. It’s gorgeous, but I must point out that it is not terribly interesting or transportive. It’s still an old faithful for me. Great for when you gotta cosplay as a hyper-normal-type gal. Sometimes I like to layer a spritz of it over more somber or antiquated scents. This stuff could make a bridge troll feel pretty. It's a staple.

Beautiful soft floral opening that settles down to a clean, out of the shower scent on the skin. It's lovely and inoffensive, but not long lasting. I agree with the review that said this is perfect for someone around 16 who would rather smell girly and clean rather than loud and gourmand like most fragrances marketed towards that age range. I can see this working in your 20s too, but at that point you can find other fragrances of a similar profile that last longer or smell a bit more sophisticated

This is a lovely, bright, fresh, cheerful, simple & girlish rosy grapefruit fragrance. Very likable & juvenile. Smells a bit like shampoo. Perfect if you are looking for a safe crowd-pleaser w/ which to gift a sixteen-year-old. In fact, this is exactly the sort of fragrance I would have been wearing at that age had I not been a tragically neglected Gen X daughter to typically self-involved, narcissistic boomers. It's a shame I missed out, but it's too late now. My taste has evolved to the Cristalle stage. Which, by the way, is basically a far colder, more complicated & less agreeable Eau Tendre for a more sophisticated & discerning clientele.

My favourite Chanel fragrance for women. It has notes of quince and sweet scents; there isn’t much of a rose scent. 7/10. The performance is very good.

Oh no. I like the EDT! (I thought I liked the EDP but no!! I tested it today and the EDP smelled like warm citrusy piss! I had to scrub it off my hand in the shop...). The EDT it is the one!! 🏆

This is a real fresh, citrusy fragrance, which lasts about five seconds on me.😭 This would literally be the perfect summer fragrance if not for the poor longevity and high price. It doesn't project on me either. Right after spraying it, it becomes a skin scent, even if I overspray it. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautitul scent and I adore it, but as it performs so weekly on me, it doesn't worth the high price. *edit: now that the hot weather is here (we have 30°C+ every day) I appreciate the freshness and airyness of this perfume even more. It's not cloying, it's clean, fresh and citrusy. Many reviews mention the floral scent and I know that technically there is a rose note in this perfume, but I can only smell the citrus, which I actually don't mind. But the longevity sadly remains the same.

I purchased this fragance after receiving a sample with another purchase on ebay. I wasn't aware that it had been reformulated in 2019. The hyacinth note in the older version was so beautiful and the fragance was a lot more longlasting than this reformulation. This reformulation is still enjoyable, light and bright, with a beautiful floral heart. This is a pleasant fragance for work, and spring and summer.

10/10 is a love. Anytime anywhere scent.

This is very generic yellow floral with some artificial rose and nondescript citrusy fruit thrown in. I do quite like the original Chance Eau Tendre, but the addition of the rose ruins the Tendre DNA and the Tendre DNA ruins the rose here. Two things that shouldn’t have come together. It’s not awful by any means. But it just feels like a very very generic 2000s floral marketed as an office-safe fragrance. The epitome of it. It actually reminds me of Burberry Weekend in that regard, which bores me to death. A sore disappointment.

The epitome of pink and spring blooms of trees - cherries, apples, fruit trees. The start so exciting and bright and true to life. Quince mainly, with grapefruit brightness. The heart subtle with rose and clean jasmine. But on a walk it disappoints - no wafts of it. It gets back to projecting at home. Feminine, soft, elegant, girly. I possibly prefer the eau de toilette which is more of a blur and this is clearer. I cant help but notice that it has lower presence than the edt. I barely perceive it on me. Does not last. Buy edt instead. It lasts all day and is dreamy with pretty, musky finish.

This is definitely a beautiful scent, there is nothing not to like about it. Except, I was hoping it would be a bolder version of EDT, and in reality it’s a very subtle slightly stronger fragrance. To me it’s a safe blind buy, but not a signature scent material. I still like Eau Vive best, although it’s the least popular of all Chance fragrances.

This perfume was on my wishlist for years. Each time I came to buy it, another perfume caught my attention, so I delayed purchasing this everytime. But then I decided that I have to go and buy it without looking to other perfumes! I was between choosing EDP or EDT. The EDT version was softer, EDP had sharper opening of musc which I didn’t like much but because I know that the sharpness smoothes down after some minutes, so I chose the EDP version, to enjoy the scent for longer hours! I purchased 150ml bottle. The interesting thing was that when I tried the tester at the shop, I could feel the scent from my wrist the whole day! But the bottle which I opened at home, the scent stays only one hour!!!! After an hour I can barely feel anything. So I keep spraying and spraying, but nothing! The scent doesn’t stay not on my skin, not on my clothes. There is just nothing! I’ve checked the code to see if it’s the original or maybe fake? Everything shows it’s the original. Don’t tell me that maybe my nose goes blind! I asked people around me to check, if they feel anything, but nobody feels the perfume!!! I’m so disappointed! The bath and body mists stay with me hours, but my favorite perfume is just nothing! My mom had this perfume, and when she was walking, she was carrying the beautiful tender scent around her for hours. But what I’ve got is the watered down version. Can’t even call it body mist, let alone EDP!!!

Perfect all around everyday scent that’s polite but still intriguing. Dewy fruity rose with a very musky dry down. Eternal on me. Chanel is always an excellent value. Very chic.

Lasts maybe two hours, then turns into a fruity scented hairspray. Very weak base notes. Really only smells its best within a short window. Clearly designed to just smell good on the store shelf. If you like this, buy a purse spray as well. You will need it.

At first it is a fresh, clean fragrance, but it develops very rapidly into some sort of sulphur toilet smell, very unpleasant. I agree with the review by @ashriia that states that there must be some ingredient not listed in the notes, it is also off putting for me. The projection and performance are quite poor. Less than subtle.

As a guy, this has become my daily driver. Compliment magnet. I feel bonita wearing this.

There must be a note not listed. Given the scent profile and notes I should love this perfume. However...there is something in this perfume that just taints what would otherwise be a lovely perfume. There is something in this that smells like 80's permed hair to me. Its off-putting. I wanted to love this perfume. truly i did...alas, it was not to be.

I love this scent however, I wish it lasted longer. It’s a fresh, clean, floral scent. It makes me feel pretty and feminine when I wear it. I was disappointed by the longevity and found myself needing to reapply after about 4 hours. The projection in the first 2 hours is really good, but after that it becomes a skin scent.

Crisp and classy! There's a note(s) in the top and mid phase that smells almost celery-like to my nose at first, then it gives way to a pretty, yet nondescript, rose-forward musk scent. I'll enjoy my decant, but it won't be a repurchase.

Chanel takes their shot at the ever so popular pink floral musk. As always, they arrive late to the party only to upstage every other bottle on the shelf. It’s also the most effective rendition of spent lukewarm bath water I’ve come across in a perfume, which is in equal parts off-putting, and comforting. The first hour of its life scratches away at the senses with a sharp and fizzy chemical buzz, suffocating the white, foamy soap underneath. It’s like someone poured bug spray into your bubble bath as a nasty prank. Thankfully, this settles into something more swishy and rounded over time, losing most of the harsh bug-repellant characteristics. In the end, you’re left with a bubbly, steamy bath, satisfyingly relaxing and meditative of an evening before it’s time to slip into bed. There’s little here I love personally, and yet there’s an odd nostalgia to it; an unglamorous comfort in the routine.

Now I am loving it, it is longlasting on skin, it is intimate, but if you spray on your hair and clothes it will perform better! Because of that it is still a spring and summer scent for me!

The citrus and rose notes are too sharp. It was a blind buy and I regret it. Don't buy just seeing the hype or else you might regret it too, especially if you're sensitive to sharp smells.

I can not leave any relevant review because the juice has turned into nothingness for me... My friend introduced this through a decant that he sprayed before our Halloween. I remember smelling something (didn't stand out, just a nice floral scent). Then he left it. Today I picked it up to spray it and there was nothing that I can smell. I even asked my coworker to spray this to her hand only to find nothing too. We agreed that there was a whiff of a subtle floral scent and then nothingness... So here we are... Our hands are left with an oily substance without any scent.
