A blind-buy fail. Only minty and slightly sweet for a few seconds at first spray. Thereafter, it's highly reminiscent of bug spray. Will probably keep to use as a room spray, not sure. Still considering what to do with it.
Pretty fresh, lemony fragrance with a bit of sweetness. It is really long lasting, especially on clothes, considering the fresh notes. I layer it with Donna trussardi, a creamy, lemony fragrance. Also long lasting. I enjoy this combination during summer, so refreshing and uplifting. Very easy to layer too. During summer I live in a humid climate and I don't want to use my nice perfumes, they all don't work well under 40 degrees. So I use this one and it is amazing!!
I am lemon, roses, and muscs. Those notes alone would make me happy for the rest of my life. Lemon Dulci makes me happy. I sprayed both Lemon Dulci and Light Blue on skin to see how they compare, and I think Light Blue edges out Lemon Dulci, but only on initial spray. Light Blue has that apple note that really sweetens up the sauce, while Lemon Dulci comes out of the gate bronc-ing. Later, Lemon Dulci dries down with a softer, sweeter feel, and Light Blue shows off all that cedar which loses in comparison. I'm so glad I bought the Chopard...it's inexpensive, and really lovely, especially if you like a strong dose of lemon. I'll take it any way I can get it.
اتفق مع الي تحتي في البداية اعجبني حتى اني تركت تعليق ايجابي لاحقا صرت ما اقدر الاحظ الا النوتات الكيميائية الحادة، حادة جدا بشكل يمنع الاستمتاع بالعطر ٤/١٠ - I agree with the comment below, at first I liked it I even left a positive review Later, I could only notice the sharp chemical notes, extremely sharp to the point that it prevents enjoying the fragrance 4/10
Initially I really liked this fragrance, I hadn't worn it for some time and when I lavished it on today, it smelt awful. It hasn't gone off, it's very new. All I'm getting is bitter lemon and deep spices. Jarring and it won't go away. I spayed some Devotion to soften, but it over powered the Devotion. So I'm left even hours later with a nasty smell I want gone. I was hoping it would soften some, but it hasn't. I'll have to wait it out. I'll revisit it again at a later date. It's Autumn in New Zealand (Late April) and maybe not the right season for it! The Bottle, (like Felicia Roses, which is adorable and one of my fave fragrances), is expensive looking and nice heaviness to it.
Do u know that roses musk by montale sharpness ? The sharpness of the rose mixed with the musk Yes that sharpness I get it here with lots and lots of lemons and citruses I get lemon rose musk ginger and mojito like mint Its like a lemon mojito with rose and vodka
The scent is really pleasant, you get a strong hit of lemon, it’s not cloying at all, and it's perfect for summer. The sillage is quite good, even people around me can smell it clearly. It’s a safe blind buy for those who are sensitive to smells, just like I am. Lovely and good quality as almost all Chopard perfumes. I don’t feel the mint, the cucumber or the mango notes. Based on the notes, I expected a Devotion vibe, but it’s definitely giving me Blue Light vibes instead.
Bitter lemon with an amber-y dry down. Surprisingly solid performance. More for spring/autumn rather than summer.
The opening evokes the scent of fresh lemon and mint. It is citrusy, clean, and slightly sweet, a very natural and well-balanced perfume. It is incredibly enjoyable in the heat and carries a truly happy mood.
I love a nice fresh lemon scent, but this smells shrill, artificial and floral. Not fresh and lemony like I was hoping. Reminds me of a generic men’s “sport” colognes circa 2000.
Fabulous citrus blast with just enough complexity (ginger, mint) to soften the edges of the lemon juice on the drydown. Perfect for a wake-up call on drowsy mornings
In my opinion, this perfume is not lemon-candy like or zingy citrus type. The citrus note starts quite sharp, but soon followed by ginger and mint. Then it gets more floral along the way with some light aromatics in the background. It smells extremely similar with Jewel by Alfred Sung especially in the mid phase, but Jewel leans more on frangipani and light coconut while Lemon Dulci leans more on ginger and mango. Both are fresh, soapy / shampoo-ish, tropical, but they never get too sweet.
Just to say during COVID this Chopard line was on the grey market at 18 bucks the 100ml bottle. And the bottles are gorgeous, to match the happy fragrances. It really was a great price point for such a commodity. Hard to find the 100ml bottles today for a song, but I see one for 45 bucks today. I suppose that's "fair", but good citrus cheapies are a special joy.
I like it. Unisex. Lemon bomb. Fresh and uplifting scent. Great for summer days.
Such a lovely, sweet and delicious scent.. sparkling lemon with a hint of mint that feels refreshing and comforting at the same time. The dry down is beautiful too..soft and almost creamy lemon.. 🍋 Definitely a Summer staple from now on 😍
This smells like a lemonade with mint leaves, happy perfume, you can almost taste it! I love itttt!!!!!🍸🍋
Got this in a swap; not sure if my bottle is "off," but there is some underlying "funk" that makes it smell like old lady cologne. The initial lemony brightness cannot compensate for the odd floral musky soapy drydown. I can't ascertain which of the notes or ingredients might be the cause, but these "cons" listed above tell the story: - Dry down can be disappointing - Chemical base after initial blast - Dries down to a toilette cleaner scent The notes are everything I love, and everything I anticipated, but I'm having a hard time getting around this oddness. Hope that some maceration in a dark place for a bit will help!
This is quite a sweet and delicious lemon, like a herbal lemon drop - sweet, minty and citrusy. Thankfully it is also fresh and slightly spicy. So if you want a citrus fragrance but are tired of all the very tart and sour options, then this could just be what you are looking for but only if you like a bit of herbal spice as well. Sillage is good, you can feel a nice and sweet herbal lemon cloud around you but the longevity is about 3h and with time the sweetness becomes less prominent and you can mostly smell the herbs and lemon. Very refreshing!
This scent is what I was hoping Herba Fresca by Guerlain would be. However, while Herba Fresca completely falls apart on my skin and disappears within 30 minutes, Happy Lemon Dulci lasts for hours and hours (on me at least). It is not a complex sophisticated fragrance, but it is happy, summer-y and light. If D&G Light Blue doesn't work for you, try this as an alternative. I found Lemon Dulci to be a much softer, more herbal sister of D&G.
The first burst of citrus in this is crisp, lemon fresh and summery in a very simple way and for a while I thought that was all it had to give and was rather disappointed. That was not the case. After 20/30 mins this really interacted with my skin and a beautifully warm sunny depth developed. The lemon and mint were joined and enriched by sumptuous orange notes of mandarin and orange blossom, apple and cucumber tempered with apple and mango that was followed ( fairly quickly!) by verdant Shiso and smooth ginger. These spicy notes stay strong into the second hour and then I was left with warm orange and woody notes like sweet cinnamon in the final hour. 3 hours, mild sillage...is that enough to purchase a big bottle or even a small one again? What it gives I like a lot. I plan to layer this as a topper for the ubiquitous 'D&G Blue' and also over 'Arran Aromatics Seasalt & Sage' body lotion....to boost its staying power... I'll update you.
This scent is fleeting and mild on me. It has a definite herbal note, the shiso, mint and cucumber really coming together to make it feel fresh. It’s not a sweet lemon at all. I think if it had any longevity at all it would be a nice unisex summer scent, but as is, it’s useless to me.
Lemon Dulci is like D&G Light Blue mixed with the sweetness of lemon candies. It comes off as fresh, cheerful and sunny with a subtle lemony sweetness that feels perfect on a bright summer day.
One of the most underrated gems I’ve ever owned. Lemon Dulci is sunshine in a bottle, its bright, crisp, and quietly elegant. I’ve always wondered why Chopard scents don’t get more love… because honestly? They deserve it. I’ve had most of them in my collection, and even my husband is a fan of the house. With notes of lemon, bergamot, mango, ginger, orange blossom, cucumber and mint, it bursts open like a joyful morning. So fresh, so happy, so alive. I finished my bottle far too quickly and every spritz takes me back to beautiful days spent exploring Dallas, Austin, and Houston. It holds memories of my vacation in texas, warm breezes, and carefree smiles. - Bhavna Darira Chesan
I'm an admitted Lemon-Head so this is sings to me. A lovely re-fresher, perfect for summer time wear or when a "pick-me-up" is needed. Nothing terribly complicated but a terrific value for a low price tag. Bright zingy lemon opener that stays on top for at least an hour while the ginger and shiso leaf start to emerge. It settles nicely into a soft (orange blossom) sweet sandalwood lasting for at least 4 hours on my skin. Pairs nicely with and gives dimension to several name-brand "green tea" (ie. EA) based fragrances. A keeper!
Sunshine in a bottle!! Very lemony, sweet and fresh! It's a very beautiful lemon perfume with aromatic herbal notes. It has a candy-like artificial lemon sweetness reminiscent to lemonheads or lemon starburst candy that I personally really like. Someone mentioned in their review that it smells like lemon tea and i agree, however i must add that to me it smells like lemon GINGER tea specifically. The ginger adds a nice spicy freshness to the lemon and helps round it out a little bit imo. I don't really smell the mango or cucumber as listed in the notes, but that doesn't matter to me as the lemon is definitely the star in this perfume and I am happy its not giving dish soap or floor cleaner. It really lifts my mood and perfect for summer too! I also like to wear this at night time after a shower so I can smell sweet and fresh. My husband never really makes mentions of any of my perfumes, but when I tried it the first time, he kept saying how good it smelled and I agree!! My sister also mentioned how good it smells and tries to steal it every time she visits!!!! Truly one of my favorites and it lasts a decent amount of time for me, personally. If you like lemon/citrus perfumes, def give this one a sniff. Its super affordable also and the bottle is very pretty and the cap is glass!! Honestly did not expect such a high quality perfume and bottle for how little I paid for it.
Candy like lemon opening with a fresh, minty-eucalyptus note. I personally found the perfume in the first minutes too sweet for me, and a little too aromatic. But it settles very well on skin. As the first hours go by I keep reaching to smell my skin. An uplifting scent, can be too sweet at times but fresh enough for hot summer days. I also think It can be interesting to wear on cold snowy days. Versatile and great for layering with a signature perfume. Pretty weak longevity, but great projection and sillage at the beginning. Another thing, the quality : no alcohol smell, no synthetic feeling. High quality, and a great price. ______ Projection, sillage, longevity : 6,5/10 Originality, presentation : 8/10 Quality, value : 10/10 8/10
Oof... Not for me. My partner likes the scent, but feels like it leans more towards cologne than perfume. Happy Chopard Lemon Dulci is a citrusy, sporty wear. The lemon and bergamot are extremely present immediately upon spraying. This perfume doesn't just suggest lemon, it SHOUTS LEMON. I can detect the spicy notes of the ginger and shiso as well, which makes the fragrance feel sharp and eye-watering. Once the perfume dries, the floral from the orange blossom comes through, but the whole experience comes off antiquated to me - like an elderly grandma's perfume she uses to cover the smell of cigarettes. PROS: The bottle is pretty and the scent has lasting power. It is zingy and intense of lemon if that is your thing. A good summer wear that has plenty of layering potential. CONS: Unfortunately, none of the sweetness from the middle fruits are there for me. Everything feels too acidic and pungent. I hate to say it, but it's giving more drug store perfume rather than luxury.
I wanted to love this, but sadly I don't. First minute us great, zesty and acidic. Quickly turns into too much of a cooked lemon note that I also smell, and dislike, in DG Light Blue. Not bad, but not for me.
Lemon Dulci, she skips. She twirls. She pirouettes on a sunbeam and laughs in citrus. The opening is an explosion of brightness. Not just lemon, but lemon in 4K—rind scraped into air, oils misting into your eyes, sharp enough to jolt you awake and sweet enough to keep you there. Think limonene on limonene, pressed straight from the peel, the kind of zing that shaves seconds off your morning fog. Not juice, but the zest of existence. But just as you’re bracing for that puckery tartness to tighten your jaw, something… softens. A breath of spearmint, chilled and green and impossibly clean, wafts in like a breeze through a lemon orchard. It’s fresh, yes, but not herbal or earthy—more like orbit gum in a Gucci clutch. Kind of teenage. Kind of fabulous. Kind of unreal. There’s this duality that’s really clever—effervescent topnotes fused with a soft musky roundness underneath. No bitterness. No citric bite. Just happy acidity, bright and purring. A hint green crunch, like someone put a fruit salad through a water purifier. The shiso, perhaps. Lemon Dulci doesn’t develop much, but stays glistening throughout. Sun-splashed. Maybe a touch of vanilla creaminess sneaks in toward the end, to soften the citrus and keep it wearable—not vanilla, just the effect of one. A milky afterthought. Not a thinker. A happy fragrance, an easy grab, a mood. A sunbeam bottled. I wouldn’t call her deep, but wow—she doesn’t need to be. Some fragrances sing like symphonies. This one? This one giggles.
Really nice, refreshing mildly sweet lemon gelato/lemon tea. Everyone around me likes it. Easy reach, great value, beautiful bottle.
