Blonde Amber

I have over 300 fragrances between myself and my wife and I think this is the best thing I’ve ever smelled . This is worth the price of entry.

This is like a warm creamy amber scent with dried fruits, rum and bitter orange. It’s less feminine and more round than Amber Empire, which has a really sharp vibe to it.

Smells good, but way overpriced! Opening I got a mix of rum, spices, and citrus. As it dried down I got a good amount of dried fruits, with bit of creamy woods. Then about 2 hours later it really shined with the bitter dried fruits being the dominant smell, followed by a soft spiciness , and creaminess, overall dark , sophisticated, masculine fragrance! To my nose this smells exactly like PDM Carlisle except, Carlisle’s main note is vanilla, and blonde Amber’s main note is the bitter dried fruits, other than that they are both dark, amber, rum smelling opening, with a dark creamy , spicy dry down. Definitely for cold weather, date night, or special occasions !

It smells like what you would expect Bruce Wayne to smell like: Dark and brooding, with a sweet side; like old money and cigars. That being said, it’s a beautiful fragrance, but DO NOT BUY IT AT RETAIL PRICE!!! Find a discounter that has it in stock and buy it from them, you’ll save at LEAST $200

i smelled blonde amber and side effect side by side their dry down is nearly identical but opening is little bit different after 15 min they are same.

This fragrance is really good, very boozy at the start and some kinda like toffee ish notes, but it can be cloying or too sticky smelling , you should get the dupes if you wanna save money

It makes me feel like a Reverend Mother from the Bene Gesserit order. A magnificent fragrance in every single phase—I don't regret a single pound spent on it. Very sophisticated and otherworldly. Comparing this to that gaudy "upgrade" is a complete insult to perfumery as an art form. It’s like parading around the block with a fake Hermès bag bought at a Turkish bazaar in Belek.

I have been hearing about this perfume for some time but the tester was always out and it's such an expensive decant I just could never quite justify it. I finally got my hands on a bottle and i'm a little surprised. First and foremost, I find this fragrance very feminine leaning - it is still deep and spicy but in a way that I feel fits in the world of more female fragrances. I am shocked this is considered a predominantly male fragrance. I also just feel like this is kind of basic? It is reminiscent of a lot of other scents to me, and perhaps that is because it has become so popular that its DNA has echoes in a lot of other launches now but it made the whole experience of smelling and wearing this a bit anti-climactic for me personally. I will be so real - if I blind smelled this and you told me it was a designer perfume, I would believe you. It does not smell special to me. On the upside, it does have good lasting power and I will also add that this does not give me a headache at all, which I am guessing is the quality of the ingredients, as cheaper perfumes in this vein do often give me a headache eventually. That is the one scenario I would say this is worth it, if you love this DNA but all the alternatives in this world give you a headache, otherwise, it's just not special enough for this price. Others have mentioned Outlands in their reviews and I will say I would get Outlands over this any day - a way more unique take on this type of scent, far more addictive, even longer lasting, and a bit cheaper at that.

When I imagine 'perfume', this is it. A perfect blend.

This does smell really fucking good. It's not going to change your life like some people imply but yes it smells great. The issue I have here is wearability. This is not something I would wear to anything but a night out... and even then, I don't think this compliments my vibe on a night out as well as some other fragrances do. It's a weird limbo for me because I do love the smell of this fragrance, but it literally never feels like the correct occasion to reach for it. I would honestly just get a decant of this if you're really curious to try it... even if you love it and want to wear it, a 5mL decant will last forever because this isn't something you wear often. Also, just want to mention... hedonistic from the same brand is also a phenomenal night out fragrance, but you can wear it to other occasions as well and the scent profile is also phenomenal. I actually find myself reaching for hedonistic a lot--exponentially more than blonde amber even though both scent profiles are beautiful. Try hedonistic out as well if you want to try this.

Great fragrance… a bit overhyped, but still great. While I do like the fragrance, I still think it’s too expensive for what it offers. If you can find a tester for under $300 (I’ve seen them), it’s a great buy. To my nose, is it better than Grand Soir? Yes, but not by much. Better than Outlands? No, not even close. Blonde Amber may be easier to wear, but it’s not as complex or nearly as interesting.

Finally got my hands on a bottle of this. I usually don't buy fragrances at full price. This was an exception. From the moment I've first smelled this at the boutique, I've fallen in love with this scent. I've recieved several compliments during a test wear that day, and turned some heads. And now I'm holding the most expensive purchase for my collection in my hand. And it's 100% worth it. The scent opens up with boozy dried fruit notes, with citric and resinous undertones, and slowly shifts towards a more woody and vanillic base over the entire wear period. It has phenomenal 12h+ longevity, leaves a very noticable scent trail, yet lacks any "offensive" parts. Your presence will be felt, yet it will not bother anyone. The full spectrum of this scent is only revealed up close. It wouldn't be fair to give this scent a rating of less than 10/10. Due to its price, not blind buy safe. If you ever see a bottle of this anywhere, you must try it on skin.

Strong amber citrus start, boozy and masculine with a heavy woody angle, and dusty elements of ginger and pepper. In the middle, I get dog shampoo; ginger, citrus, fresh woodsy soapy. Then Scream comes in and English Leather type barbershopiness. A big fat no in the end.

Great fragrance. If you can get it for half of the retail price, worth the price.

CC Blonde Amber is ok, it smells just like your average Amber fragrances i just purchased a whole bottle, my concern is the longevity, some saying they're getting 12hours cool, about 5hrs on me it's completely gone i have the black box with the Red Roman Numbers and the Gold writings Batch code etched into the Bottle(CC336K) maybe mine reformulated😮💨

Can’t really fault the scent, it’s well constructed, has some complexity and is easy on the nose. The price tag and hype are harder to understand. I get a nice amber with dried fruit and floral accents giving it lift. It’s not cloying and heavy. It evolves through the wear and has a familiar warmth. My first impression was that it is slightly on the feminine side of unisex so I was surprised to see this with more votes as masculine. There are definitely more masculine ambers than this. Very good but don’t see myself reaching for this except as a bedtime perfume so even at dupe prices not something I am in a hurry to add to the collection.

There are SOOO many better ambers. This is a boozy amber scent. Not the best amber out there for the price. For that I would go Maitre Parfumeur type ambers. This scent should be priced at $180 or less. Not almost 5 or 600. NO! To many people who glaze this brand bro. Skip this all together!

I do find some similarities in Nishane Papilefiko, which is way sweeter and Blessed Barakka by initio which is less complex than this. Drydown has some sweetness such as side effect-esque. I am not totally blown by this one considering the hype, the mid reminds me of the sweet/vanilla lavender amber aroma from the new le males. Definitely has more development top to bottom compared to typical designer. Also projection is so much better, you can smell it a feet or two away for upto 2-3 hours, it jumps off the skin.

I wanted to hate this because it's so expensive, but F it's good. It's rich, warm and everything I want in an amber perfume. There are so many notes, but are so well blended they all get entangled with each other making it hard to pick them out. And the staying power, I took a shower, didn't reapply, and still smelled like it in the morning. I fear I shall be purchasing a bottle, dang it!

The content creators really hyped this up like there was no tomorrow in the cold months. Just got it on skin (May). It’s just ok. I need to revisit it in the Fall. My mind is set to Spring & Summer scents. Yeah it smells good but not to the extent of the hype.

I think metalmeddler might be sniffing a clone or something. This is nothing near the realm of Oajan. Always take fragrantica reviews with a pinch of salt or maybe a handful of salt in this case.

Blonde Amber is my favorite night-time fragrance at the moment, and i'll also throw this on for special occasions. Fortunately, i only have positive memories wearing BA and I'm hoping it stays that way. The only downside is that I'm definitely not wealthy enough to wear something like this confidently, it definitely has a royal and wealthy aura to it.

Just a worse version of Oajan. The fragrance smells great, but Oajan is the same thing but significantly better.
