Coach for Men

Absolutely beautiful and unique fruity fresh opening that lasts approximately 12 seconds on skin. It then dries down into a fairly basic, suede scent. The fruity opening is a crowd pleaser to everyone who has smelled it on me but despite being marketed as a warm weather scent, it is only in cooler weather that the opening lasts long enough to be noticed. I have found an extremely specific niche for this fragrance, which is Florida winter, at sundown, sprayed on clothes, from a decant right before a date or night out. You get that amazing opening for a first impression, then as the night progresses, the dry down takes over which is inoffensive and subtle. You can find these dirt cheap, so I think its a nice buy.

its a really nice citrus/woody scent, my only problem is the performance. it barely lasts and the projection dies down in less than an hour.

changing my review. the scent is good but it’s not worth repurchasing because performance sucks

only downside to this is performance otherwise it’s great in terms of smell and value 9/10 performance is bad

Smells like the inside of a plastic water bottle. The suede note and the ambergris combined make an almost burnt watery plastic scent which is quite unpleasant to my nose.

Been my daily for a few years. It’s not the loudest or most long lasting but smells great and is an easy reach to spray and go

after experiencing many other fragrances, this one is just okay to me, and i gotta be honest there's something off putting in this one, i think it's the pear note? it just gives this sweetness to it that doesn't sit well with me. but if it's your first fragrance honestly go for it, enjoy it experience it, people love it and the value is good. i'll always prefer the green, it has more character and definitely more unique update: this literally smells like jimmy choo man, very very similar

Smells lime a pair for 30 mins then dissapears, kinda sad because i was going to buy it. I like the pear, but i understand the comments about being generic. If you want to keep the bottle in your back pocket and reapply as you go then this could be great. I dont want to do that thoguh. Not great is all i have to say. Smells nice while it lasts

This has been great as a daily driver.

Maybe I'm confused with the edp, but I don't get as much pear/fruityness as described, it's definitely a good everyday wear or soft office scent though!

Absolutely love the smell, hate that it only last a few hours. Definitely a contender for everyday wear.

This was the first fragrance I bought when I started getting back into fragrances a couple years ago off the recommendation of a girl I was seeing, at first I wasn't really blown away by it and honestly I'm still not. It is a generic fresh, woody, and aromatic fragrance. Maybe it's the memories I have with it that has me keeping it in my collection but it is by no means a bad fragrance. The opening is a pleasant and fresh sweetness with that pear note that you unfortunately don't see a lot of, mixed in with some citruses it stays sweet without become cloying. There are also some florals and spices in there that blend well when it starts to dry down where more of that woodiness comes in. I don’t pick up much on the suede which is good for me as I often don't like leathery notes. The ambergris adds a slight warm muskyness to it. The only downside to this fragrance is the longevity, which to be fair it is an EDT and im known to underspray.

Just a cheaper smelling Jimmy Choo Man. Same DNA, so overall not bad, I just prefer the longevity and scent quality of JCM.

Overall great value, smells great wish it projected more / lasted longer tho. Great school scent

Smells good pretty generic but that's not bad because it does smell good. Reminds me of Mont Blanc legend EDT. Has slightly better longevity than other coaches but not by much. Pretty safe mass appealing fresh scent.

I love this fragrance. It was my first designer scent a few years back when I first dove into the fragrance world, and I made so many memories with it. It's advertised by most as a fresh, generic smell but I easily pick up sweeter notes, percieving it as deeper than a lot of others do but with the same poor to decent performance with it. I discovered I prefer a more mysterious and warm scent profile nowadays, but Coach for men will always have a place in my heart. If you're young and use it as a signature for a while, you won't forget this fragrance, totally recommend.

Decent smell but doesn’t project or last very long at all

Fresh and sweet pear notes, okay performance and sillage. Love the scent, lasts and projects enough for an everyday/office perfume. Highly recommend for spring days, early summer days should be fine, but the sweet could be a bit cloying in hotter summer days.

I am absolutely disgusted with Coach! This would be my favorite fragrance of all time if it wasnt for the lavender. Lavender scents cause huge headaches for me and I have reached out to Coach several times about this asking them to remove the lavender from the formulation and I have received zero response! You have lost a customer Coach!

Great scent for spring and summer. Not too overpowering and great for the gym or office. Perfect for a daily but I went nose blind to it quickly. If you are interested in this fragrance make sure to shop around to get the best price, there are a lot of retailers who will mark it up.

I just saw this for €22 for 100ml and I pulled the trigger. I had sampled a bunch of fragrances last year, got a load of samples, this fragrance surprised me as had never heard of it. It is a nice pleasant daily driver for work or school or whatever. I guess you could say it leans a little bit youthful but I dont believe in smells having an age it smells good end of story. Everyone needs these fragrances in their rotation, cheap and light and fresh for daily wearing

nothing special just a nice smelling freshie for going to the gym, shopping and just relaxing at home.

Was surprised to find I hadn't reviewed Coach for Men yet since it's become a staple in my rotation. Coach for Men is a fruity, more playful take on Bleu de Chanel. I currently wear it during warmer weather and on (casual) Fridays at the office as a change of pace and a pick me up from my normal Prada l'Homme. With its moderate projection, you won't risk overspraying. Longevity is good, with it still hanging around 8 hours in. Best suited for warm days and casual events. Leans just slightly to the masculine side of unisex because of its musk and is a bit youthful. This is a fairly mass appealing scent and for just $30 from discounters, Coach for Men is one of the best fragrance deals on the market.

It's got a pleasant sporty-soapy scent to it. The citrus and aromatics smell the most prominent to me. It's not overpowering, but also not particularly "special." It's a good scent, and def worth trying a sample or travel spray.

Phenomenal and versatile smell, a shame the performance is absolute buns. Such an easy dumb grab but it will not last on you at all. I'm talking max like 4 hours, but for those 4 hours, you will be the best smelling man in the room.

It's a very yummy scent and I do like it a lot. A not super musky masculine cologne while still definitely being a cologne for men is kind of nice. Unfortunately, this was the cologne that my ex-boyfriend wore, and he only ever really put it on for nice occasions. One of his qualifiers for a nice occasion, was when he would go hang out with the girl he was cheating with on me with 💔 So definitely a good smell, but one that I associate with a bad time with a sh!tty person.
