hair spray vibes. i don’t think i like it :(

This is one of my favorite fragrances and I conclude it agrees with my skin chemistry. I am mystified by the reviewers who passionately hate it. It is one of my most complimented fragrances, and I own a good number. Having said all of that, what I like about it is the unique freshness. The rice note is hardly detectable but I get the magnolia and creamy floral notes. It isn't extremely long lasting on me, perhaps 4-6 hours.

I AM AN IRIS FAN. It's my favorite note in fragrances. But this shit is so goddamn awful. :( I don't think I fully recovered from the sniff session I went to after I smelled this. It smells like a drunkard's piss with some candies.

I got a sample of this from TwistedLily, and I'm actually wondering if they sent me the wrong fragrance. It was on a Creed card, and the vial said Creed, but neither had the name of the fragrance. To my nose, it is a more feminine, lighter version of Davidoff Cool Water. It has a definite aquatic vibe to it (almost fishy), which is not at all what I was expecting from this fragrance. And I see nothing in the notes above that would give it that vibe (Unless it is the narcissus? It's been a while since I've smelled a daffodil.). Update: I had also purchased a sample of Narcisse Taiji, and OMG, same smell. I love me a daffodil, but apparently, I do NOT like the smell. These two fragrances share that note, and it dominates in both. (It is obviously meant to in Narcisse Taiji, hence the name.) I think the combination of that note plus the ambergris is what is taking Love in White in an almost fishy direction. If nothing else, I have learned that I need to steer clear narcissus in fragrances. I never would have guessed that it would create an aquatic vibe, but it definitely does, and I am not a fan.

The magnolia note in this is very pretty (truly reminiscent of the flower) and I enjoy how soft the florals are in this and how it invokes the feeling of being on a cloud, but this perfume has a creaminess to it that I personally don't like which makes it feel heavy after a while. It also becomes more powdery as it dries down. I can see why people would like it, but I personally find this perfume to be too much. I'm still on the hunt for a favorite magnolia perfume since the flower itself is stunning in summer.

Its very clean, almost the Innocent of spring. Its crisp and velvety. Its how i wish i woke up and smell like this. its just so sensually clean!

Even though it came out over 20 years ago, I never got to try it. I feel like I missed out on something special just by reading the reviews.

Love In White has a bitter opening, but aside from that, I’m getting no orange peel & none of the listed floral notes. It goes on smelling like Saffron rice, which can work, but it quickly transitions into a purely Ambergris dry-down, eliminating ANY other scent. This left me smelling exactly like a stink-bug.

I wanted to love this one, but all I get is a very bitter opening reminiscent of grapefruit pith followed by a strong, almost unpleasant grassy note. I can't figure out where the grass is coming from? Is it the Narcissus? I was expecting something romantic, but all the floral notes blend into one "flowery" smell that's heavily dominated by the rather oppressive "freshness" of the green note. I don't understand the "old money" comparisons in some reviews. This is more nouveau riche trying too damn hard at the country club.

Анонім★★★★★

It is straight down luxurious and old money type of fragrance. It mesmerizes everyone around you. It doesn’t resemble any mainstream or mass products either, so you will be unique and smelling gorgeously. It is simply worth the price tag, especially if you can grab one from the resellers at a good discount. Shy iris, bold white flowers, great longevity. Its name says it all.

Анонім★★★★★

It smells like daffodils and yellow wildflowers. It’s pleasant, but not enough for me to really love it...

This is so borderline 😁 I mean looks and sounds like an innocent take on white florals, ‘another boring floral’, but this is… Stunning, in your face, bold and craz-rich smell on a fancy cruise. It stuck to me since i tried it in an airport, and i knew it has something. Everyone’s opinion was that it was itchy and nauseating. When i finally got it, sprayed in my car, on the passenger seat. I just fell in love with the smell, the super feminine and elegant puffiness that surrounded me. It does have an 80’s nostalgia vibe to too, it must be the geranium, but all in all it is exceptional.

I need my future wife to smell like this at our wedding

Анонім★★★★★

Stunning and regal. Luxurious thick iris powder and rice milk with florals floating on top. Sometimes it can get too much and nauseating so I don’t overspray, but I can definitely feel the quality as a creation.

giving virgo vibe

Hard no.. this burnt my nose.. I had to wash off with dish soap to get rid of the insane amount of spice.. Incredibly spice heavy and offensive.. it’s been an hour and I’m still upset at the aggressiveness of this

Fresh. fresher. The "most fresh" 😅 A lovely fragrance. And I had to come back here to check the ingredients: and to my surprise there is NO cilantro listed. I could swear there is cilantro 🤔...

I adore this perfume, it's so fresh and flowery and luxurious to my nose, not overpowering or really out there, just there and nice. Perfect for everyday wear like for an office setting or similar. The downsides! It's not very dramatic or seemingly very unique, it is just very nice and good at what it's trying to be which might put some people off, if you want to be obviously noticed this isn't it. It's also ridiculously expensive. A 30ml bottle of this costs as much if not more than most 75-100ml bottles of almost anything else. TLDR: Gorgeously flowery and luxurious, but a crazy price and possibly a bit boring for some people. Rating 4.1/5

Extremely floral, sweet, magnolia is dominant. Pleasant smell.

Digging through my parents' fragrance cabinet has led me to find a beautiful bottle of goodness, tainted with age. It's no doubt my parents' had good taste that would otherwise had been forgotten if I'd never started this tiny activity of going through their older belongings. My mom's passed it down to be, saying (as most older woman do) that "it's too young for her". I don't agree. I wish I'd have met her in her younger days, a beautiful and elegant woman she must've been. A refreshing opener followed by a calming unisex dry down, it's not too harsh on my skin and has made me change my mind about having Orange notes in my perfumes. This is probably my favorite fragrance.

It smelled good in the store, so I bought a bottle online. It smells nothing like it did in store and everything like wet dog on me. It has a super green opening. Almost like fresh cut grass on a rainy day. It’s not my jam. I’ll be selling my bottle.

Back to 2012 - the first time I got a 30 ml bottle from Love in White: Oh, it was so different, so rich and clean. A unisex citrus, with a feminine energy in it. Barack Obama was re-elected and all the perfume groups were gossiping that Love in White was the first ladies' scent. And by the ways, this was also the chosen one by Angelina Jolie. Creed was the epitome of niche perfumary, with beautiful and exclusive corners on Bergdorf Goodman. (An unique scent, for sure. An unique Citrus, above all). Love in White in 2025: It is not as bold as it was. The skeleton is all intact, but it is not the good old one. Less powdery, less loud. I miss the old Creed times.

Smells bright, powdery, and gently floral — like crisp linen drying in full sun with an unexpected creamy warmth. Feels serene and quietly refined — calming without being shy.

I got a sample from Twisted Lily in original Creed packaging. I'm getting sharp citrusy sweet orange juice and soft magnolia. It smells generic. I remember smelling this at Bloomingdales a couple years back, and it was much better. There was a more pronounced chalky rice note that toned down the sharpness and made the scent less sweet, more creamy and interesting. The orange came across as bitter orange peel, rather than orange juice. The notes seemed smoother and better blended. I agree with a prior reviewer saying the perfume used to smell more matte. I will let my sample macerate and return to it. Smell: 7 out of 10 Strength: 7 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

The ambergris is a clashing note for me against the spring florals, at least on my skin. Otherwise it would be lovely at a lower price point.

COMPARISON I will write a proper review later but I have to tell you about the differences between the juice in an old shaped bottle (in the picture) and in the new one (Love in White 2024, separately here in Fragrantica). I haven't been interested so much in Creed's perfumes earlier but of course I got obsessed in the worst moment. I only had Queen of Silk and Delphinus earlier. I just was spraying this "Love In White | Creed" , "Royal Princess Oud | Creed" and "Wind Flowers | Creed" one week ago. I noticed that they are changing all the bottles into the style which for example "Queen of Silk | Creed" and "Delphinus | Creed" have and personally I think those old ones were so pretty so I wanted those ones. I was scared as well that the scent would be different even if those scents should be same and in Creed's own website they assure that the juice has remained the same even if the bottles and the packages has changed in 2024. Well, the problem occurred with "Love In White | Creed" because the tester was the old one and the bottle in the box was the new one. I really was SO in loved with that creamy thick texture of older juice (in the picture). So I couldn't test the juice in the new bottle and I just blind bought it and sprayed it heavily on my other arm and immediately I noticed that it wasn't same. The opening is brighter and somewhat lighter like greener as well. It's not so much different but there is missing exactly those elements which I loved so much: that exceptional opulence behind the freshness and a tender powdery touch. The new one feels all the time bright and airy, fresh as well, while the old one feels matte, creamy and more unique with a beautiful freshness combined with other facets. Magnolia and Narcissus are playing a bigger role in the new version. I think that I wouldn't have fallen in love with the scent if I had tried the new one and I think I will buy older bottle if it come across somewhere. The difference lies not only in the base, especially in the amount of Sandalwood and Vanilla but in the middle notes as well, especially in Iris. All of them have been clearly reduced in the new version and it makes the whole thing both lighter, greener and fresher, because the appropriate restrained sweetness of vanilla, which was noticeable in the old version, is gone. At the same time, the lovely thicker texture and a tender powdery texture are unfortunately gone. The difference in the base is very noticeable the next day, when in one hand only freshness remains and in the other a lovely gentle blend of Sandalwood and Vanilla is still noticeable. I hope that over time my scent will deepen even a little, but I don't think it will reach the allure of the scent I tested. If it's just a matter of batch differences, I would be surprised, because I think the difference is clearly due to the amount of Iris, Vanilla and Sandalwood. Neither of the scents feels synthetic to my nose and the longevity of both is the same, around 6-7 hours but I can still distinguish the scents even after a night. I would rate the scent 9/old one and 7.5/new one. Even the old one isn't groundbreaking, like none of Creed's, but it's really beautiful and addictive because of the creamy and fresh combination. So iif I classify these scents "fresh" and "floral" would describe the both of them but the old version would be "powdery" and "creamy" as well whereas the new version would be "green". Luckily they had an old version of "Royal Princess Oud | Creed" so I can't tell the difference between them for now, the tester was an old version too. I will write about them once I have a possibility to test a new version. "Wind Flowers | Creed" is still in the same bottle like always but I'm sure they will change that one too. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG and/or YouTube (English subtitles): @ninamariahperfumes It gives me a lot of motivation to write more.

To me it smells like a bouquet of white flowers freshly picked from the garden. I love the green note in it. It is a very pretty, day perfume, appropriate for spring, maybe summer as well.

Анонім★★★★★

Pretty sent that last all day. It’s a very floral a little green. Lovely.

I have a sample of a perfume called Ibiza by a company called Haute Vie (this fragrance is not on Fragrantica’s database). I have never heard of this house or perfume but I’m always open to trying something new. To my surprise, it reminds me of Creed Love in White!
