32 is supposed to be a cool copy of the legendary Fahrenheit, and its name refers to the temperature required to freeze water. It's a floral vanilla composition on a woody base that screams its synthetic nature with a soapy metallic tone. It has a high potential to give you a headache. It's like spraying the cucumber dimension of Fahrenheit onto the washed clothes of a child whose face and hands are sticky after an overdose of vanilla/almondy cakes and ice creams !! The positive point for me is the white mint coolness in the depths of the aroma, and beside the cucumber effect of the perfume, it reminds me of a feeling of freezing and cold steam on steel containers. This cool and menthol state is caught in a misplaced war with the powerful heat and sweetness of vanilla and orange blossom, and the perfume fails to maintain the coldness that it needs to be (32°F). Finally, it reminds me of the atmosphere of a refrigerator that has been left turned off and sitting in the warmth for hours with cakes and ice creams inside! It is difficult to accept it as a summery and cool fragrance under the iconic Fahrenheit name. Not my perfume at all. My apologies to the lovers of this perfume. And I am happy about the discontinuation of this perfume.
An icon of contrasts, combining the freshness of orange blossom with the warmth of vanilla. A special exception and a captivating blend; a masculine fragrance based on vanilla notes, crafted with strange perfection and exquisite artistry, so smoothly that it exudes freshness and cleanliness. An extraordinary masterpiece, its orange blossom makes it ideal for spring and autumn. A calm and soft fragrance, quite different from the sharp, classic version of Fahrenheit, representing the perfect balance between strength and softness.
Vanilla bomb with vetiver, cool crisp. It reminds me of sitting in my car on Sunset Drive in Pacific Grove, debating whether or not I should move back home to Illinois. The dark sea, and cypress. It's not at all aquatic, but it's so 2008 to 2010 for me. Use in moderation, difficult to find, and potentially VERY expensive. Discontinued. It sours just a little with age. I don't think many people are a fan of it, but it's lovely for memories. L'Occitane, Baux, is overall a better, if not the BEST vanilla fragrance.
It’s never coming back; so just enjoy what’s out there… that’s all one can do
The best fahrenheit! Dior should bring this back
A MASTERPIECE!!!! This was so ahead of its time THE WORLD wasn’t ready for it. 2007 release for Men orange blossom vanilla florals MACHO MEN weren’t ready lol 😂 NOW different story! I miss you F 32 😢 DIOR BRING THIS BACK🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I’m looking to selll my bottle
Found this bottle in my basement, not bad at all considering it was probably there for 15 years. Nice floral, it isn’t like the Black & orange Fahrenheit at all missing that gas like smell. Overall a 6/10
This was an absolute banger. I loved it so much. So fresh, clean, crisp. I went through three bottles of this and then it got discontinued :-(
Disclaimer : my vintage bottle is from 2007 but the scent seems mostly unaltered. Heavy white florals and vanilla with a slightly dirty vetiver base which gives it some masculinity. Very balanced , but it is quite powdery too. I wouldn’t say it smells clean due to the vetiver which is earthy and slightly tar- like. Slight citrus (orange blossom) note comes through as well, but it is soft. This is mostly a vanilla + white floral scent. I can see this being worn by anyone as the florals are feminine but the vetiver is masculine, as long as they do not mind a bold fragrance as this is quite strong and unique. I haven’t smelled anything quite like it before. This could / should have definitely been its own fragrance and not a flanker as this is very different from the original. Still smells super up to date.
Genuinely feels like a softer opposite of the OG EDT. A fresh masculine “cool” subtle floral fragrance. Ever so slight touch of vanilla and a pinch of sweetness. It is not easy to describe this one. It’s not in your face. I do enjoy it but I don’t really smell it unless I put my nose to my skin. Wish it performed better but glad it’s in my collection. Feels very smooth yet subtle. I can see it being worn year round.
The comparisons to smelling like an orange creamsicle are correct and I like how it's not overly sweet at all, just really smooth and pleasant. If you want to find an alternative, Boss In Motion (sphere style) has a similar vibe although it's noticeably sweeter.
Those making a petition make me chuckle. You know after the draconian IFRA mandates - virtually NOTHING steering away from an ambroxan cupcake can be made anymore right? F32 - A cooling somewhat fizzy white floral vanilla. Fizzy like sprite but then earthy and sort of gourmand. Not a heavy sticky bakery gourmand - more like those white squishy jimmy's you'd eat off the deserts as a kid with. IDK its very unisex and the florals in it sort of make it feel unsuited to me. Much more cold crisp and feminine than Fleur du male edt. A perfumer literally woke up one day and was like - i'ma make a scent so white it'll scare the hood away. Idk its better than anything MFK could ever put out in Dior.
I have a bottle for sale…
Stunning. Orange blossoms oozing with unlit gasoline. It's like the negative image to Fahrenheit, a similar effect done with opposite ingredients. It's cool, with fumes warning of the raging fire that could ignite. I'm surprised this isn't more polarising in the reviews, as it's very weird, I guess that's the unicorn effect.
Okay I definitely don’t hate it. It just smells really weird on me. On paper and in the cap it smells fantastic, but my skin just turns the white floral smell into a rotting orange and white floral mess. If I can think of a place that would smell like this, it’s the place sung about in the song “the veldt” by deadmau5. A really clean almost chromatic smell with this weird rotting flesh of burned fruit falling off of dead trees. Everything is stark white and metallic with this scent lingering in the foreground. Such a strange blend and harps back to when Dior was super artistic with their blends.
@capitalistic thank you for starting that petition page. I commented on the page, and seriously I hope Dior bring this gem back. Or atleast a flanker of it because it’s dearly misssed in the fragrance community.🙏
32 is very rich and meant to make others envy you. It’s soft and smooth, like walking on fresh snow with your white chocolate mocha.
Smells warm, spicy, and subtly effervescent. Feels cozy and adventurous — like a crisp evening by a campfire.
Alright, l went ahead and created a post in the general forums since there are others who agree that a petition needs to be made in an attempt to get Dior Fahrenheit 32 rereleased. Now l don’t know if this is how you start a petition but it doesn’t hurt to try. Below is a link to the “Dior Fahrenheit 32 rerelease petition” post. Let’s try and get as many replies for a rerelease ad possible and get it over to Dior. Fahrenheit 32 is an unusual, poetic and utterly captivating flanker of Dior's legendary Fahrenheit line. Launched in 2007, it radically departs from the warm and incandescent DNA of the 1988 original, opting for a more ethereal, fresh and creamy approach. A Fahrenheit in light tones, as its name suggests: 32°C is the melting point of water – a perfect metaphor for this creation that balances the warmth of vanilla with floral lightness. Olfactory Impression Fahrenheit 32 is an almost androgynous perfume, with a delicate, refined and highly sensorial identity. It presents itself as a white veil on the skin — clean, seductive, introspective and minimalist. It is like wearing a linen shirt under the spring breeze. A perfume for those who appreciate discreet beauty, balance and lightness. Performance Projection: Moderate in the first 2 hours. It projects elegantly and cleanly, without invading other people's space. Longevity: Good – lasts 6 to 8 hours, especially in mild climates or on fabrics. Evolution: Smooth and cohesive. There are no major changes, but rather a continuous and calm blossoming between citrus-floral and woody-creamy. Occasions of Use Fahrenheit 32 is incredibly versatile. It can be worn at work, on romantic dates, daytime events and even in more formal settings — always with an aura of quiet elegance. It is ideal for mild climates and spring or fall days, but it also works well on cool summer nights. In addition, due to its restrained sweetness and refined presence, it also easily pleases the female audience, being considered by many to be a shareable perfume (unisex). Final Considerations Among the many flankers in the Fahrenheit line, Fahrenheit 32 is the second best in the line, tied with the intense and mysterious Fahrenheit Absolute, both behind only the powerful and sophisticated Fahrenheit Le Parfum, the pinnacle of the line in terms of olfactory richness. Fahrenheit 32 is the luminous face of the Fahrenheit universe — a fragrance that speaks of introspection, purity and serenity. A jewel that was discontinued and is now worshipped by collectors and lovers of artistic perfumery. Final Score: 9.6/10 A perfume for those who see beauty in subtlety. Fahrenheit 32 is the Fahrenheit of sensitive souls — an almost poetic fragrance that proves that delicacy can also be strong
Dear Dior, Bring this gem back!!! Look at the success YSL MYSLF has had over the past year or so. The time of the orange blossom in men's perfumery is now! Not to mention that vanilla fragrances are more than ever in the limelight. Fahrenheit 32 was a masterpiece, it was just way ahead of the curve. Hope that someone at your company is reading this and the comments below. Fingers crossed.
It's time, the world is ready to make this fragrance a huge success. Like others have said below, we need a petition to bring it back. I don’t want to be the one to start it, but I’m losing patience waiting for the relaunch!
Bring this parfum back as soon as possible..Not now.YESTERDAY!!!
This is my most missed fragrance of all time. If I would’ve known they were gonna discontinue this, I would’ve stocked up on as many back up bottles as possible. Such a beautiful fragrance that carries so many scentimental memories for me. I agree; it would be cool if the fragrance community can do a petition for Dior to bring this fragrance back out… even if it’s a flanker with the same DNA, I would be stoked and be the first in line to buy this…. Greatly missed and memories during Dior 32 life span will forever be cherished.
I love this perfume. I dont smell like anyone whenever i wear this. It has that happy hormone note that is so bright it will just make you feel good whenever you spray it. Just dont overspray cuz it can be headache inducing.
@ Capitalistic I AM WITH YOU ON THISSSS!!!! I have been thinking about the same thing just for THIS fragrance. I was wondering if ever we could petition for Dior to bring it back.
Has there ever been a successful petition in the fragrance world? This is an attempt to see if we can someway somehow start a petition for Dior to re-release this masterpiece!
A very energetic vanilla with orange/orange blossom and vetiver. Almost like sun tan lotion and salt on your skin, while you are soaking in the sun on a hot summer day. What does this have to do with Fahrenheit? i dont know, but i know its a great release (btw Fahrenheit is hidden far in the background here, you have to search for it)
On My Quest to acquire all of the Fahrenheit Flankers (except Fahrenheit Summer 06,07) , Fahrenheit 32 Might be the most interesting and polarizing of the entire line. The best way to describe Fahrenheit 32 is that it's as if Dior had let Jean Paul Gaultier take the wheel to create his own Sweet Gormand take on the Fahrenheit line. To my Nose, Fahrenheit 32 smells Exactly like a delicious smokey Orange Creamsicle or an Orange Fanta Float in the opening With a creamy INTENSE ice cream-esque Vanilla and Soothing Orange Blossom. These are made slightly warm and Smoky from the Veviter base and this actually saves it from being a completely Feminine fragrance by keeping in touch with Fahrenheits original roots. If it wasnt so Rare I'd wear Fahrenheit 32 as my signature winter time Scent but its still great on those special occasions or date nights in the Fall, winter, and even into early spring if it's still cold enough. I personally adore this version of Fahrenheit but I will admit that this is by far the furthest from the original Fahrenheit DNA and that it's the most Unisex Flanker in the line. Silliage 8/10 Longevity 9/10 Uniqueness/memorability 10/10 Overall 9/10
