One of my most complimented fragrances! Such a warm, unique scent.

I've been using Poison Girl on and off for years, and no matter how many new perfumes I try, I always come back to it. There's something incredibly addictive about this fragrance that keeps me craving it. The warm vanilla and sweet notes make me feel cozy, comfortable, and confident every time I wear it. It's one of those scents that wraps around you like a soft blanket without feeling too heavy. This will always have a special place in my collection because it's a fragrance I never get tired of.

This is very much Hypnotic Poison with an infusion of syrupy candied roses, very rich. Opens citrussy before getting right into the thick of it. Best for autumn and winter, my sample is very strong which I think would best suited for the cooler season. My sample lasted all day, definitely full bottle worthy.

what a delicate scent, i've fallen in love with it, i fear. as for me, the most striking feature of 'poison girl' is the powdery tones that linger on my skin until they dissolve into something gently sweet and undeniably captivating. i've been told the whole space gets suffused with this fragrance as soon as i settle in a room, so it says a lot about its sillage and the strength of it. longevity, however, is borderline everlasting, and that is precisely why i've become very fond of this fragrance. highly recommend to those who value powdery scents. <3

Have you ever met someone and immediately disliked them for some silly reason? Then years later, looked back and thought, 'I really should have been nicer and given him/her a chance?" For me, that's Poison Girl. Thankfully, she's forgiving. When this first came out I rolled my eyes so hard I nearly gave myself an aneurysm. "Poison Girl?" Really, GIRL?? I thought it was a ridiculous name paired with an appallingly stupid ad campaign. It was like watching the former cool chick turned soccer mom desperately try to be edgy and failing in the most embarrassing way. It was ultimate cringe, and I couldn't believe Dior let those ads free in the wild. For that, I never gave this perfume a chance. But fast forward 100 years, I'm revisiting fragrances I never considered seriously in the past. Poison Girl is on the list, and I am enjoying it a great deal. Poison Girl is sweet, and I mean SWEET. For gourmand fanatics used to snorting this sort of liquid sugar on the daily, this fragrance may not be anything otherworldly. But for someone who rarely strays from the classics and for whom J'Adore Intense is considered daring, the experience is a glorious shock to the system. It opens with an almost biting bitter orange. It's tart and not shy about it. That sharp citrus yields to a syrupy heart of roses. But a demure rose from mother's garden this isn't. It's a dense and candied floral that knows exactly what it's doing. Dare I say playful? God, just saying that gives me heartburn, but bear with me. The dry down melts into a decadent base of dark vanilla, toasted almond, and tonka bean. A bit of sandalwood and balsam hang out in the background. It's heavy, rich, and clings to the skin beautifully. It has the presence of a proper powerhouse and isn't quiet about it. Poison Girl is as delicate and refined as nude cartwheels in the town square, but the "in your face" attitude is charming and magnetic. It projects far better than most new fragrances and leaves a heavy, sweet trail that turns heads. I may have judged her too quickly based on her name, but Poison Girl has earned her place on my vanity. She's sweet, yes, but she still BITES.

I may have to eat my words here. While I never thought this fragrance was bad, I had always found its sweet vanilla far too conventional to truly belong in the Poison line. But since everyone keeps saying it has been reformulated, I decided to give it another try. Well, believe it or not - and contrary to all the complaints - I actually find it more beautiful now: creamier, more balsamic, and above all, I pick up an almost anise-like facet right from the opening, though it fades over time (likely the bitterness of the almond and/or orange creating that impression for me). The almond blends beautifully with the rose, while the overly sweet vanilla I remembered from before has stepped into the background. So, has it really been reformulated, or have my tastes simply softened over time? I honestly don't know. But these days, I find Poison Girl rather charming ;)

the perfume that changed my mind about rose. this is so lovely and feminine and sexy at the same time. others are saying it skews younger, but i think any woman could pull this off. i like wearing this as a daily scent and hypnotic poison for special occasions

I never managed to smell it. 3-5 times on paper. and on my skin. than my clothes. nothing. PG unexpected is great. But somehow I've never managed to smell this one.

Smells like bitter sunscreen to me

Love love love love. Somewhat personal to me, as my mom wore the OG poison edt growing up. However, she kept it in her makeup bag, so that poison DNA would mix with the scent of her creamy MAC vanilla lipsticks, settting powder, and eye-pencil shavings. That combination always smelled so good, so much so that I’d go and open it up just to sniff it, and poison girl smells extremely similar to that very formative olfactory memory . Needless to say, this smells very cosmetic to me, which I absolutely love… a very femme perfume, my current signature scent until it heats up too much and the intensity of this becomes a little too much.

As an OG poison lover, someone below said it best simply! Pls Dior give us a NEW poison for the designer line, instead of only focusing on the luxury Dior crap which literally to me eventually all smells the same! And realistically? Your audience for the boring luxury ones? Is a lot smaller than is normal peasants!! Shame, Sior

Recently it reminds me of gingerbread probably because of similar Perpetual by Moresque which reads pure gingerbread to my nose. It has a decent presence and creates aura that envelops two people and leaves a trail so it is a perfect date companion if you want to create an impact if it fits your personality. Perfect for clubbing, too. Rather for winter and autumn but I am rocking it today in sunny 14°C because I can :) I feel vanilla first and foremost, teamed with almonds and tonka beans, flashes of warm cashmeran and softer, from the heart rose and heliotrope, to a lesser extend orange blossom. And some tolu balsam depth and creamy sandalwood. It is very girly but done by grownups so it is no nonsense. I would probably love it in high school. But I loved its trail on a grown up woman in high Spain heat, so it is good. A gourmand-clubbing delight. If you like Hypnose and Wish you will like it. Mon Guerlain has similar traits but it wishes it has Dior presence.

I had this perfume in 2022 and it was really sweet, my fav. Now i got a new bottle in 2024 and all i can smell is bitter orange, it just doesn't go away, no erstwhile sweetness in it sadly

Ok so I got this a couple months ago and I had spent about 2-3 years (or more) trying to decide if I wanted it or not due to figuring it would smell generic or like something I’ve smelled several times before and well yes, it’s something I smelled several times before. It isn’t unique and tbh I was expecting a little more of something I can’t quite point out in this one… Maybe a little more rose or some smoke idk but a las it isn’t bad - it’s a “pretty” scent but it is something I’d wear more at home or maybe play with dosage and wear it out OCCASIONALLY I guess. This is something that would appeal more to younger girls in their late teens and 20’s. But if you can pull it off and you like pretty rosey sweet scents, this is for you.

I regret buying this sm, the almond is totally overpowering EVERYTHING. It literally smells like the perfume section of the department store, so generic and bland. Maybe this almond bomb might have been better if only there were some supporting facets, but there are literally none. It smells so mature and aged (in a bad way). I haven't smelt the og Poison but if THIS great great great grandma of a perfume is "juvenile" compared to that, the Poison line was never for me. Anyone who says this is youthful is lying through their teeth.

Анонім★★★★★

This must be the only "sweet" perfume i wear. It's sweet but not like "La vie est belle". It's more than only sugar. Also, it doesn't smell like the original "Pure poison" at all for those like me who don't like it.

Love this so much , perfect for winter. Warm cosy strong , amazing performance. 😻 last all day long.

It’s my favourite perfume ever

Анонім★★★★★

this smells amazing the best perfume from the poison dior line for sureee

The gourmand of adults even when gourmand wasn't a fad yet. Initial spray is Lemon, Orange, Rose, and a hint of Grape all baked in sugar. Middle scent is the Orange Blossom, Heliotrope, and a hint of Jasmine. The dry down is a confection of warm Vanilla, Tonka, Almond, Amber, Woody Cashmere and some burnt Sugar. A gourmand not meant to be eaten.

Анонім★★★★★

i love this perfume. Its warm and sweet orange vanilla/almond. Its got an airiness to it. It feels like Miss Dior EDT fizzy, powdery orange notes combined with Hypnotic Poison almond notes if they were perfectly blended.

Анонім★★★★★

decided to spend time with this beauty and omg soooo beautiful on this cool fall day. i apply several sprays to the chest of my sweater and just a spray behind both ears. went out for a couple of hours and noticed this beautiful scent it in the air around me when i got back home. soft sweet sexy playful. so glad its in my collection. noticeable without being loud or cloying. this is a gem of a keeper! has longevity and doesn't require much to enjoy.

Анонім★★★★★

When I spray this ,it’s so juicy and sweet I just want to eat it. Beautiful perfume. For all ages.

@LOST_HORIZON Amen to everything you just wrote!

Every winter I return to you with open arms, loving you more each time 🍎🩷. What a wondrous sweetness of tonka bean, almond, and bitter orange. I love you. Please, Dior, release a new Poison again, sweet and playful, sweet and elegant... Please, stop releasing perfumes that cost thousands of euros a bottle for the elite and release a perfume for the common people to enjoy for once!

A sophisticated blend of bitter orange, vanilla, and almonds, creating a truly unique composition. This fragrance is elegant, sensual, and unmistakably nocturnal. It projects beautifully and lasts around 7–8 hours on clothes, sometimes even longer. It’s a scent that dresses you up, exuding allure and confidence. It embodies a woman who is independent, assertive, sensual, and impeccably composed.
