one of my go to daily fragrances. I have the edt which has little hint of fresh/fruity to it, but I also love the edp which has a much deeper rose scent. it is very wearable anywhere anytime!!

Анонім

It is a bright, dewy rose with a tart berry edge and Diptyque’s signature clean transparency. It opens with a fresh, almost sparkling rose—light, crisp, and airy—then slides into a soft musk with geranium.

LOVE this amazing fresh, fruity, floral, musky scent. My only complaint it that I wished it lasted a little longer. The EDT smells more vibrant and fresh, whereas the EDP is stronger and richer and more musky. Both are incredible. Wish I spent a little more to get the EDP for the lasting power but I love the EDT and don't mind reapplying if needed!

I was actually scared to blind buy this one because it's a rose fragrance. Most of the roses I've tried made me smell older. This one is totally different, it is fresh, delicate and sophisticated.

God I’m in love, the most perfect soapy rose. Blooming rosebuds and tart nectar, makes me feel like an elf maiden. I only have a 10ml but I will be dousing myself in full size ASAP!

rose water and lychee. i think i would prefer it without the lychee personally. it’s very tart and fresh!

Анонім

Very fresh rose. Layer it with EOS strawberry lotion and it’s delicious.

This is probably going to be my first of many diptyque fragrances. I was always a bit reticent for god knows what reason, but the other day I was browsing in one of those fancy malls, and I started trying out different fragrances. When I tried this, I immediately fell in love. This is the cleanest, most gentle of roses. Slightly sweet due to the litchi and honey but not at all gourmand. The cedar and bergamot do a great job at keeping this a grounded clean bright fragrance but not in a screechy way. The opening can definitely be sharp, but the dry down is just a creamy rose with rainwater on top. Its simple, nothing about this screams complex or shocking, but the simplicity is what makes it so elevated. I bought a 50ml and I am sure I will eventually go for the full size. So elegant, so chic, so feminine. Immediately a favourite.

This is pure soap. Where’s the rose? Not a safe blind buy for rose lovers.

To me, Eau Rose Eau de Toilette smells like an expensive French rose soap. That was my very first impression, and it remained the defining characteristic of the fragrance throughout the wear. There is a noticeable soapy quality here, but it never feels cheap or overwhelming. Instead, it creates an impression of cleanliness, elegance, and a distinctly French sense of refinement. When compared to Rose Roche and Rose of No Man's Land, this is probably the sweetest of the three fragrances. However, the sweetness remains restrained. This is not a gourmand rose, nor does it resemble rose jam or a dessert-like composition. The fragrance stays light and semi-transparent, surrounding the wearer with a soft veil rather than a dense cloud. Of the three, this is also the most classical interpretation of a rose. If someone is looking for a straightforward floral rose without unusual twists or unexpected contrasts, Eau Rose may be exactly what they are searching for. There is something undeniably traditional about it, with a subtle touch of French bohemian elegance. If Paris were imagined as a city filled with blooming roses, historic streets, and classic French perfumery, this fragrance would fit perfectly into that picture. Personally, it feels less youthful and playful than many modern rose fragrances. There is no rebellious edge, no burst of freshness, and no desire to make a statement. Instead, it is a calm, poised, and confident rose that feels comfortable in its own identity. After looking at the notes, I noticed lychee, geranium, jasmine, and white honey. To me, these ingredients seem responsible for the sweet, soapy character that runs throughout the fragrance. The rose itself feels clean, gently sweetened, and very polished. I cannot say that this is my favorite rose fragrance. It does not create any negative feelings, nor does it ever become overwhelming, but it also lacks a certain magnetic quality for me. It is the kind of scent I would enjoy sampling and perhaps wearing occasionally during summer. In fact, it feels particularly suited to warm summer days because despite its sweetness, it remains light and airy. However, I would not choose it as the signature rose in my own collection. For me, it lacks a bit of personality and individuality — that special quality that makes me want to return to a fragrance again and again.

A realistic rose scent. I was impressed with this but don’t find it one I reach for often enough to justify keeping

Okay Yes Yes yessss so pretty, smells exactly like a sweet rosewater

So lovely and airy! First whiff and I immediately smell a soft, powdery blend of roses and litchi which remains when I first spray. The dry down it leaves a lovely spring-like romantic powdery, sublty musky sweet rose like scent. I haven't smelt anything like it, it's absolutely lovely to wear and it's become my everyday scent to wear to work. Like all Diptyque scents, after a while I can't smell it unless I press my nose right against the skin. However, that doesn't mean people can't smell you! I've gotten compliments from people walking behind me about smelling a nice airy floral notes on me and how uniquely clean I smell! Eau Rose is the perfect blend on clean, airy, powdery, and floral without being overbearing. It really is a "look, don't tell" kind of scent. I hear a lot of people compare this to rosewater, which I'd have to disagree immensely on. If you want a true rosewater scent, try Eau Triple Damask Rose by Officine Universelle! That is hands down the truest rosewater scent I've ever come across!

Eau Rose: a neutered rosewater scent. Pretty, in fact the prettiest rosewater scent I’ve come across, but even so, this makes me sad in the way a puppy with clipped ears and a docked tail does. It is the scent of human meddling. No more wagging tails or thorns. This scent is for those who reject the ancient & erotic symbolism of the rose, preferring a sweet, placid-pink interpretation of the flower. Eau Rose, a muted still life: half a dozen roses, ballet slipper pink, cut and artfully arranged in a crystalline vase, under the lobotomized gaze of a young woman with ribbons in her hair.

I HATE florals. Let me start by saying that. When Maison Margiela Lazy Sunday Morning hits my nose, I recoil like a salted slug. This scent, however, made me realize my issue might be with the number of floral notes, rather than the floral itself. Eau Rose is very simply: photorealistic rose. At most, a rose with raindrops on it, which is how I describe it to people. And I love it. I am a woody girl all the way through, and I was beginning to lose hope on there being any feminine-leaning scents I actually liked. This is the scent that proved me wrong. Because it's so simple, I think it's more unisex than it's given credit for — I think this would smell amazing on a guy, maybe layered with a sandalwood/cedar.

Smells like a wet powdery rose. Reminds me of rose water😫

Анонім

This is a gorgeous dewy true rose fragrance. Definitely more appealing than the edp, which has an offputting artichoke note in the dry down. Eau rose is the epitome of a classy, fresh rose that everyone needs in their collection.

Анонім

when i wear this, i am pink. it fades to mauve, and then to white.

Анонім

Couldn't really smell it after testing Amouage's fragrances, but Delina still beats it, performance wise as well as scent wise.

I sprayed the entire 2ml decant all over me, and after 20 seconds I could barely smell it. So, yeah the projection is very intimate, and it lasts less than 30 minutes on skin. Like, sure, the scent itself is a nice, fresh, fruity rose, but ABSOLUTELY NOT worth THAT price.

I got the travel spray discovery set from Diptyque that you can create and add 5 perfumes yourself. This and L'eau Papier were the perfumes I was most excited to try. And I must say I love it a lot. It is such a clean, pure and fresh rose scent. Yes it smells kinda like rose water but I actually love that. I am very much a sucker for anything that smells like roses so this is amazing. I am gonna wear this a lot now since it is spring and perfect for that and maybe one day when the Travel spray is empty I will get a full bottle of the edt. I am curious now about how the edp smells and might try that one out in the future.

Are this similar to atkins rose in Wonderland?

This is the signature scent of a really good friend of mine so I will always feel a pang of love in my heart whenever I sniff it somewhere out and about :'( Not at all my bag but I suppose this is the quintessential rose isn't it? Not much scent progression but will have you smelling beautifully and plainly of rosewater literally the entire day. Like a drenched bud. Clean and safe in general but more like a blank canvas for its wearer, if you're a bit edgy there can be a mysterious and truly romantic element that opens up when you wear this. Pairs well with cigarette smoke. Probably smells quite granny-like on the wrong person though, this is how I feel about rose scents in general anyway. And don't let a bitch with clean girl aesthetic get near this one.

I was not expecting to like this perfume as much as I do. I originally got this as a travel size sample set from Diptyque's website and have since gotten the full size of Eau Rose and Do Son. Eau Rose is a sparkling realistic rose that feels like stepping into a rose garden after its been drenched in rain. It smells so alive you can almost feel the rose petals. I didn't think I was a huge fresh rose fan until this.

Анонім

literally made me say out loud "oh my gosh it's so beautifullllll" I'm actually obsessed with this

Анонім

Loved how fresh and feminine this was on paper, but on my skin it was terrible I had to wash it off after 20 minutes. Gave spicy old grandma vibes. Even after a shower it was still lingering.

Анонім

I really enjoyed the opening of the perfume, but as it evolves, it becomes increasingly more soapy. I would never buy a full-sized bottle for that reason. I was hoping this perfume would be crisp and airy, but it ended up being soapy. Even though this is a newer scent, it feels old-fashioned and dated.

Анонім

Smells like realistic beautiful roses but so weak. It lasted 15 minutes on both clothes and skin for me even after spraying excessively. But what a beautiful 15 minutes. It was raining outside when I wore my sample and suddenly I was transported to a gothic novel and I was in a garden of fresh red roses. I never had such an evocative botanical experience. Diptyque does realistic florals so well. But who are the lucky ones who get to have decent longevity with this?

Анонім

Lovely but so so weak! I'm the type who hates sweet/sugary and fruity scents but this is so masterfully balanced. I've yet to smell another fragrance that contains blackcurrant AND honey that manages to pull it off like Diptyque does. Unfortunately this is very much not worth it for the price, the poor longevity cannot be excused.
