Light Blue

smells just like the dry down of acqua de gio. lovely bright citrus scent that's a little powdery. i think this is a really nice gender neutral summer scent :)

a really like using this perfume as a woman... it smells like a really big glass bottle of freshly made lemonade with greenapple slices and 1-2 mint leaves with it.

This is the scent my mother wore when I was a pre-teen. She had both the EDT and the lotion. I would sneak into her room before leaving for school and slather the lotion onto my arms, topping it off with some sprays from the classic bottle. This scent is entrancing to me to this day, and my best friend from childhood actually gifted it to me this year for my birthday! I am blessed. Due to having a 10ml, I am trying to preserve it and to keep it around just in case I want a sniff. It's fresh, sophisticated, with this subtly satisfying deliciousness in it that isn't quite gourmand but maybe gourmand-adjacent. Absolutely beautiful scent.

On my skin, this is reminiscent of cat pee. It makes me smell like someone who has too many cats in a small apartment. I wear and love fragrances with similar profiles, but this one is just gross

This is “The Scent” of this Summer for me. (And Ange ou Démon le Secret edt) I have just rediscovered Light Blue and fell in love with it again. This is the best of all. I wish it lasted only a bit longer! It smells like it had the whole citron in it with the peel, then the sweetness of the apple arrives, but still stays more citrusy, and as it dries down, a beautiful creamy note starts to develop, but doesn’t take over the fragrance, it is melting together instead! So feminin, I am in love with it and wanna buy a 200 ml of it as I’m going to finishe my 25 ml very soon. (That I just bought 2-3 weeks ago, but since it arrived, I don’t really feel like spraying anything else) If you haven’t tried it yet, please give it a chance! You won’t regret it! 🩵🩵🩵

Fresh aquatic. Reminds me of Ralph Lauren Blue but dialed back—not as intense. Clean, crisp, and bright, but finishes with a slightly warmer, softer dry-down than RL Blue. Very wearable and refreshing.

Stick with the OG Light Blue. Don’t bother with the flankers like Intense or Capri In Love. They just don’t have the same magic the original has. Light Blue is literally a sunny beach vacation in a bottle. I don’t care if everyone and their mothers are wearing it. It’s just so easy to wear, and puts a smile on everyone’s face when they’re near you.

upon testing this from a Sephora favorites fragrance set, I understand just why it’s been such a popular summer scent for the last 25 years. it is simple, straightforward, inoffensive citrus with a touch of woodiness. I could see anyone wearing this, from your 16 year old niece, to your 65 year old uncle. it is perfect for anyone looking for a no nonsense fresh, clean scent profile without putting much thought into anything. I will absolutely pick this up next time I see it for < $20 at TJ Maxx/Marshalls, just to have on hand for when I’m in the mood. I have never really felt pulled towards it enough to try, but I’m happy I have! :)

I’ve always loved this fragrance. It may be an older release, but to me it has never felt outdated. I had smelled it on so many persons over the years without ever owning a bottle myself. As an adult, I finally decided to buy it, and it completely lived up to my expectations. Living in a hot and humid tropical climate, I can honestly say this is one of the best summer fragrances. It’s fresh, airy, sweet, and somehow still has a delicious quality to it. It’s incredibly easy to wear, uplifting, and always earns me compliments. I truly understand why it has remained a classic for so many years. Unfortunately, I eventually decided to part with my bottle because I became more mindful of fragrance ingredients. I’m not 100% clean perfumes, but I do try to reduce my everyday exposure to ingredients that are endocrine disruptors or other potentially harmful substances. After looking more closely the formula is very bad, I personally no longer felt comfortable wearing it and chose to throw my bottle away. It honestly broke my heart because I genuinely love this scent. I really hope Dolce & Gabbana updates the formula in the future. In 2026, there are so many innovative ways to create beautiful fragrances with cleaner ingredient profiles. If that ever happens, I would buy Light Blue again without hesitation.

Classic clean citrus scent. This perfume lasts very long for me, and I always get compliments.

it smells like heaven, at the top of my wishlist

I resisted this for a while, but it's a classic for a reason. This is so good on a super hot day. Very fresh citrus that dries down kind of woody. It stays light and airy throughout wear with good sillage and longevity. Compliment getter and makes me feel so good. I loved "I Love Love" and this is the adult version.

Whenever I arrive at the airport having forgotten to reapply perfume, I wander through Dutyfree looking for something inoffensive, oftentimes Diptyque's Do Son or Eau Des Sens. But if there is no Diptyque, I am tired, I just find the nearest Light Blue. Once a gym fragrance, soft blue and citrus, who could hate it? Oftentimes it covers up the jetlag and I can blend right into the mass of tired, post-vacation families, and businessmen. I like it.

40°C calls for the gentlest summery refreshment and you will find one in the cult Light Blue. Blended in an airy way that immediately speaks of Italian spring and summer. Bottled Italian orchard. The lemon and apple dominate on me, with unidentified floral sweet note that must be the bellflower and a light touch of jasmine with bamboo and musk to finish it off. Slight woodiness is also present. This is the prettiest of the family. I suppose they are all nice but the new edp does not dry down this prettily. 3 hours of presence then a skin scent for next 3 hours. Not bad in the high heat, but I of course would wish for better longevity. Refreshing, without being over the top. Very characteristic. I met it long time ago and memorized it immediately always associating it with summer. My Mother gifted it to me recently❤️, and it is the formula with plain blue cap. I noticed the most recent bottles with filed angles and added silver logo on the top - they possibly changed the formula, but mine is fine, just the way I remembered it.

Still charming to this day. Basic and easy. Although now I truly prefer the new EDP version- it’s creamy, and lasts longer

I like this very much, drydown is beautiful on my skin. First spray is a little bit harsh and piercing, but then - beauty. Cedar, musk and amber in base notes are my favourite ingredients and with my skin smells divine. Longevity is what it is - still EDT. Projection for people in environment is nice (like a summery breeze around citron lemonade). My mam used it during my childhood, so I have connection with this period - trouble-free life area :-) I agree to compare with Moschino I love love (but it is sharper) and find some same vibe with Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege (not exactly same, but maybe some notes on my skin is similar). I do not understand new bottle - I do not like it.

So fresh and light and slightly sweet from the apple. I bought the intense one mistakenly at first, and that one smells like pure rubbing alcohol - especially on the dry down. One of my coworkers asked if I had been drinking lmao. The regular one is miles better, and is so far the only perfume I've worn that has elicited a compliment from a complete stranger. I had the bottle in my purse and asked if she wanted a spritz to which she quickly asked "can I really??" And sprayed herself all over ☺️🍋🍏💙 Very, very pleasant in the high heat of SoCal (110+ F)

I definitely am getting woody scents on me, and a bit of citrus. I'd say unisex but leans slightly masculine! Overall I quite like it.

The opening is so harsh it smells like cleaning products the dry down smells like oranges. I don't get any woody notes just harsh citrus cleaning product smell.

I’m a gourmand/fruity girl and I have ZERO complaints about this perfume! The scent is just GORGEOUS! 🍋💐☀️Elegant, rich, so clean and fresh. This is actually my mom’s signature scent and I wear it once in a while 🥰 love it so much I wish they didn’t discontinue the love is love version 🍦

not bad but it smells like you’re gonna go around triggering people’s memories. it’s slightly generic

Simple and clean. The longevity is so and so. Nonetheless for hot summer days this is a safe wear.
