If I wanted to smell like celery it would be a lot cheaper to just buy the vegetable and rub it all over. Seriously, wtf is this?! Iris, jasmine, iso and ambroxan mixed together should not smell like a vegetable. Don't blindbuy this!!

Gin-tonic and fresh paper. Quite masculine. I definitely wouldn’t buy a whole bottle, but I guess I could be pleasant to feel this soft inoffensive mist-like scent from a guy.

reminds me of gin and tonic on my skin. bright bergamot opener and on the dry down the pink pepper and iris comes through a lot more. i guess its alright but nothing to write home about

I meant to order Molecule 2 but ordered this by accident. It’s a happy accident! I LOVE this. It is very strong at first, and fairly masculine. But I adore it. To me it smells very warm, sexy, grounded. In my top 3 scents. I don’t wear it super often because I don’t want to wear it out or get tired of it.

This smells like a citrusy kitchen cleaner on my skin

It’s not everyday that I Accidentally order the wrong fragrance. I was meant to get Molecule 02 but needless to say, this was a top surprise and a definite love! E02 off the rip is more citrusy and you also get some some nice lipsticky iris underneath with a Vetiver vibe that reminds me of the smokiness of club de Nuit intense man and GB bohemian lime if you smell it up close but It’s 1000x smoother overall and extremely easy going. For $130 I’m not complaining. The Ambroxan, iso-e super and iris really make this an above average scent for me. This is what I hoped Terre D’Hemres EDT would smell like (they are nothing alike though). A really nice twist on Molecule 01 with the addition of citrus, woods and an iris note that makes this another great your skin but better scent. If you’re a fan of Dior Homme 2020 then I think you’d like this too. After a full wearing I kept thinking who smells good at my work. It was this stuff and it is extremely close to the original 02 if not better? Love it. It’s a shame that I feel like most people can barely smell this or 02.

it smells so good on paper, citrussy and fresh. but it smells horrible on my skin. not a safe blind buy. if you don't like glossier you or any ambroxan fragrances on your skin you won't like it either

This is a fresh and clean scent, not too woody nor too sweet just perfect. Unfortunately, it is an expensive perfume so you should definitely smell before buying. However I think it smells great and even bold, I'd absolutely recommend it!

If you like a fresh woody scent, this is perfect. It's got no-frills, and each of the few notes are easy to identify. Overall, it's very fresh, the depth that woody scents tend to have. My only complaint is that the projection is low and relatively short-lived

I love this. I've spent so long searching for my perfect summer scent... something fresh that actually lasts, and can cut through the heat and humidity. After searching high and low, this ended up being the answer. I like the concept of these "molecular" "no-perfume perfumes", but they have never worked as advertised for me. Except for this one, which I find very pleasing. It smells warm and fuzzy, so much that it literally makes me feel warm where I've sprayed it. I picture these intensely orange fibres... that is the image this scent gives me. A warm and fuzzy scent topped with some citrus fruit. Before I saw the notes, I was thinking maybe an unripe orange that is still green. But after looking at the notes on the EM website, I realised what I'm smelling is lime. And there are many more notes, but I mostly get a pretty simple citrus + ginger + ambroxan, which smells incredible to me. And that's coming from someone who's never been that into ambroxan. Somehow this blend works perfectly. A lot of people refer to scents as comforting, but this is one of the first scents that actually makes me feel comforted - literally. And just so calm, cool and collected. It also makes me feel youthful, and reminds me of being at the pool. Not that it smells like a pool, but it somehow just brings about that happy, optimistic summer feeling of being a kid at the pool. I'm also extremely happy with the longevity. This lasts a very long time on myself and others who wear it. Some people may be fooled because they cannot smell it immediately, but it's the kind of scent that plays tricks on you. You will definitely get random whiffs of this throughout the day, and others will certainly smell it. If you get tired of your perfumes, I feel this is the ultimate palette cleanser. A summer staple and a valuable addition to any perfume collection.

A fart in the wind .. im not reviewing something that won't last long enough to assess it .. granted i had a sample but i sprayed the entire ML. Pleasant warm ambery iris that becomes a skin scent in about 3 hours or less .. barely noticed it the entire time and im quite sure no one else has .. but i'm done with brands selling flavored water and expecting people to run along with it .. So i won't pull my punches anymore .. we do the fragrance industry a diservice when there are much better iris scents that actually put the effort to provide performance .. but i'm done. I call it as i see it from now on.

Escentric 02 has been around for years and here I am, only just smelling it. As soon as I sprayed it I thought “this smells very familiar” and it didn’t take long to clock that it’s near enough identical to Molecule 01 + Iris. It’s basically the same scent save for a few minor details. It’s the same light, papery Iris and addictively refreshing Iso E Super - incredibly soft, airy and woody with dry undertones. The only difference is the added warmth of the ambroxan, envelops all this light airiness and grounds it a little, creating a touch of sweetness. It’s quite nice actually. Obviously this came first, but to me it is a new discovery. Despite my enjoyment and satisfaction wearing this scent, the whole idea of Escentric Molecules simply isn’t my cup of tea, I prefer a bit more depth and personality in my perfume.

Jesus Christ some people write short novels in these comments. Literally just orange citrus and ginger. Very very basic, masculine, kinda boring. Seems to last a good while

I received this in one of my fragrance advent calendars last year and it has sat more or less untouched as I wouldn't class it as a winter scent. However, I grabbed for this on a hot day as something different for me and a bit of a change. I would class this as a fresh, cleanish scent and to me it I found it inoffensive and a little boring. I can see why people are noseblind to it and for me I needed to top it up every 4 hours or so. Will I finish my bottle - yes but it will probably take a while as I have other fragrances in my collection I will reach for more than this. 02 is not one of my favourites. Completely unisex and possibly even slightly masculine leaning.

For a while i've been passively on the hunt for something that will make me smell like the beach because i think its one of the sexiest smells ever and by pure unanticipated luck this delivered everything i wanted. It's the salty grimey smell of sand and sea that sticks to your skin and your hair and your clothes. But i can't imagine it smells appealing to anybody else. It must just read like sweat or natural body smell. But I get to carry the ocean around with me all day and its nobody's business.

Such a multifaceted scent that I struggle to describe it. It’s this airy, easy going blend of a multitude of different nuances - it’s fresh, a little musky-sweet, and touches of powdery florals mingle with what I pick up as a mellow leather nuance projecting in the background. Interior of a brand new car in the dealership kinda leather. It’s effortlessly masculine and has this subtle but addictive character to it. Smells like really nice skin in the sense it’s devoid of that overly perfumey, headache inducing cloying nature you might find in a lot of other stuff. It’s breathable, soft and alluring yet so easy to wear - almost like this captivating musky aura you might emit upon applying. 10/10

A deconstructed Terre d’Hermes. Orange, herbal, effervescent, oceanic, mineralic. Very masculine, very early 2000’s. The Escentric collection is not meant to be smelled up close to the skin; you have to let each fragrance waft in the air. If you put your nose to skin, you’ll get notes of leather, bay leaf, tobacco, and dry orange skin. The silage is where the real magic happens. I'm surprised how underrated the Escentric line is despite Molecule 01 being so popular. To me, the Escentric's far surpass anything in the Molecule collection, Molecule 01 included.

So good, one of my favourite. Topicrem with the pink lids has a similar scent. I really love that smell. Kind of skincarey, kind of medicinal, something hard to pin down. I don’t even want to break it down.. it just feels really whole. Really nice.

To me this is photorealistic bloodorange bitters - the kind you use in drinks. I have a few friends who are into mixology who use the stuff constantly. Really lovely, but hardly worth the price tag.

I love the fragrance, but I don't like it's longevity. It's absolutely beautiful for like 30-60 minutes, and then after that it's so faint. You can kind of still smell a bit of floral but you'd have to be really looking for it. It's honestly really a shame, because it's quite unique. It kind of smells like a floral flavored seltzer if that makes sense. It's very refreshing and light, and I just WISH it lasted longer. I really don't care about it. Giving it away. Causes me a headache.

I’m confused by this fragrance. And I don’t know how and where to wear it. When I smell the nozzle of the bottle, it’s OK. When I spray it on skin, for the first minute or so, I really like it. Then… Nothing. I can barely smell anything other than a whiff of iris maybe? ISO E Super? Who knows. But I’m not getting any real sillage or projection, I’m picking up the collar of my shirt and sniffing hard to detect it. That’s the only way I can catch the faintest recollection of the fragrance. But the problem is, I don’t want to spray too much because I have no idea if this is a fragrance that the wearer goes noseblind to, but people around you are getting bombarded with it. I just can’t tell. So I don’t ever want to wear it. Because if I can’t smell it, then: A. I’m not getting any enjoyment out of it. That’s the most important part. B. I have no idea if I’m offending people in my proximity. Or worse: C. People in my proximity can’t smell it either and I’m feeling self conscious for no damn reason. I’m going to have to be that annoying fragrance guy and test it on a few off days and constantly ask people “Hey, can you smell this? Hey, do you smell anything now? What does this smell like? Are you picking anything up?” It’s like one of those modern art pieces that’s just a blank canvas but hipster art people swear it’s genius and a regular person sees nothing but the blank canvas.

Another winner from Escentric Molecules. One of those office safe, but still full of personality fragrances. You get whiffs of the woodiness of iso E Super throughout the day, with a more floral base (probably the iris). As another review mention the beginning smells a little bit like carrots (earthy, slightly sweet), but I quite like it!
