Fragrancenet hands out this sample in almost every order. It actually in the same floral powdery style like Amouage Dia Woman and Gold Woman, it is just that the musk in Simply Belle smells edgy, sharp and more cosmetic powdery-like with less projection and characteristics.

I'm a male but i got a little splash bottle sample of this in an order from a site so I tried it out.. it reminds me of a lotion. However, I've had lotions that have more projection and sillage than this does. This is a skin scent from the start. I guess that could be a positive for some people that only want significant others to smell it when they get close, etc. but not only should you not exact anyone else to be able to smell it on you, you won't be able to smell it on yourself unless you put your nose directly to it. Smells good, either way.

Adora77 I love your comment about your beauty Icon. All the mature ladies in my life, are all Icons of beauty also. My memories of them date back to the classics of the 50's like, Joy, Youth Dew and Miss Dior. They would never leave their homes smelling like a 20 or 30 something, for example like a cookie or produce. Kudos to the ladies of the 50's and 60's, for showing us classic beauty.

I don't get the hate! I received this as a tester, and I'm sure that affects people's opinion of it. I say this with some confidence, having just surfaced from a bender on expensive iris notes, and talking myself out of buying a couple of budget-breaking iris perfumes (looking at you, Iris Pallida extrait 6). I'm definitely getting this as full bottle. Also for youse guys who cast shade on it because it's a grandma scent: you don't have to convince me to buy it, I'm already there. Gramma is my beauty icon.

Very powdery and sweet white floral. Not for me, but definitely for my 80 year old grandma.

Анонім

It's like a perfume-scented perfume

When I smell this, I feel like I am being thrown around in baby powder and fresh laundry. Comes off very powdery to me.

I like white florals and sweet powdery notes so naturally I like this. It's how I imagine pastel baby pink to smell. Something sleepy about it. Smells like a dusty Victorian home painted pink and white and with shelves of porcelain dolls, so it does have a sweet old lady quality to it. It also smells of lotion/ointment/sunscreen/nail polish remover/something medicated. Ever smelled Baby Magic soap? This has the same quality. Pleasant scent but nothing special.

As with many others I got this as a sample and i'm on the fence about the smell. It definitely smells kind of like an older lady perfume but I don't hate it altogether. Not sure if i'd buy a bottle of it though.

Smells exactly like nail polish remover and Softsoap hand soap. I’m struggling to scrub it off so points for longevity I suppose.

Got this as a tester and it wasn't for me: 1/5 :/ Very powdery granny scent to my nose.

Got this as a tester. Very floral and light and baby powder like. Not a total fan but I do see instances where someone would want to wear this. As a smell it isn't terrible. I do get the light sunscreen scent and honestly I do not mind it. Maybe something you would wear if you were just freshly showered and wanted to smell slightly more clean? Or maybe something you would wear to church to match the smell with the interior? Overall in my opinion, a solid 6/10.

Really pretty! It smells like peach bubble bath and sunscreen. I find it to be very similar to Keiko Mecheri’s Peau de Peach, though this one is a lot softer and much more sheer. Love the aquatic effect of the water lily note! 🪷🫧

Smells like baby wipes and nail polish remover. Absolutely terrible

The opening smells exactly like my grandmother's bathroom hand soap during the 90s. So to me it has a nostalgic/memory appeal buttttt.... then it dries down to a nail polish remover-like smell after a few minutes. Not something I would want to wear even for the nostalgic minutes. Not the kind of scent I like to wear anyway, and seems a bit cheap in quality. Oh well, thanks for the free sample Fragrancenet.

This free sample smells very vintage and soapy. It goes through a stage where it smells like perm solution before drying down to a bar soap-inspired floral. Not for me

I recieved a sample of this and while it smells clean and fresh it reminds me of the mental hospital... so. Do with that what you will. I don't find anything about it to be particularly special.

What a misnomer. Better call it Simply Blah. Opens with the unmistakable aroma of a second-tier hotel bathroom hand soap that swears it’s a perfume. The first spray hits you with a floral mist that feels like it was designed by someone who said, “Make it smell like… flowers? Clean ones? I don’t know, just make it smell like something.” The peach note is there, but only in the way a peach gummy bear is “fruit.” The violet leaf adds a refreshing splash of humid elevator air. And the lily of the valley? It’s the one aggressively scrubbing the imaginary sink. As it dries down, the scent evolves into a soft, indistinct cloud of freshly laundered nothingness. Not offensive. Not memorable. Just a semi-pleasant, beige fog of floral detergent. If perfumes had personalities, Simply Belle would be the coworker who always says, “Happy Monday!” and means it.

It definitely caters to more mature women, I'm 34 so I definitely feel like I can wear more bubbly scents sometimes but I am getting to a place where I appreciate more intimate florals & musk fragrances. This was one is just okay, and kind of reminds me of older vintage scents. Maybe not by profile but growing up I feel like a lot of older women in my life would have this type of smell. Got a sample from fragrance net as well and put this on at 8:50am, it is 10:01 and it's a very intimate skin scent right now which I don't hate. I just would never buy it.

like everyone else, I got this as a free sample from fragrancenet.... it smells like a nice old lady. Nothing wrong with old ladies, of course, but it's just a generic and slightly fruity clean scent. reminds me exactly of how my great grandma's nursing home used to smell as a kid. Also, benzoin smells like cigarettes to me, so maybe I'm just biased...

Simply Belle is the perfume equivalent of a white T shirt; it isn't something I'd go out of my way for but not anything to scoff at, especially if gifted. It's simple, bubbly, cute: aquatic floral with soap and baby powder nuances. I didn't pick up on any fruit or green notes. It’s the kind of bottle you keep on your vanity for work days when you want to smell clean without using up your favorite fragrances.

I am also not understanding the hate. It's definitely a daytime perfume. For me, it's a Godsend because I work somewhere people get so offended if you wear any kind of perfume that they can smell. This is such a light fresh whitewater Floral that I can't imagine anybody thinking I'm wearing perfume almost. But I do suspect that I will get compliments for smelling nice. I will come and re-review this if I don't get compliments. One person said that it reminds them of mom perfume and maybe that's why I like it. It's just a very clean light scent but has some stay power, and I honestly would like to smell this scent if I gave someone a hug. I definitely wouldn't choose it for date night, but it is literally the ideal office scent if you don't want to offend anybody or scream that you're wearing perfume. I'm absolutely in love with this as my new daytime scent. And it certainly is worth it since I got it for under 30 dollars.

Got the free sample like everyone else. I'd never buy or sample this normally as it's advertised as a white floral which usually doesn't work on me. I was excited to read it had peach amd orange notes but there's no fruit smells that appear on me. All I smell is the musk and Benzoin. Not a bad smell but nothing I'd likely wear or buy.

Анонім

Like most people here, I got this free with the fragrancenet order. Soapy sunscreen is apt. Not bad on me but I wouldn't be interested in a full-size.

Анонім

I'm not usually a big fan of such sweet scents but the peach in this is so nostalgic for me. The sweetness and the fruit accords reminds me of nectar and makes me think of summertime as a child.

Анонім

Faint and plasticky sunscreen and lilies. Smells quite dated. Only lasted a few hours.

Анонім

First impressions: (sample dabber) Got this with my fragrancenet order. Smells like a nice baby powder to me. Now noticing the reviews they are saying the sample is different from the actual full bottle. Interesting. It’s okay for a slew perfume.

Анонім

Based on the sample, I thought this was a dupe for Amazing Grace, but when I got a full bottle, it smelled completely different. It was only reminiscent of Amazing Grace; now much heavier on the vanilla and benzoin which I don't remember at all from before. I don't know if it was maybe reformulated, but I don't like it now. The floral notes don't seem to mesh well with the sweetness either. Overall, it just smells cheap and synthetic.
