Sometimes, quite unexpectedly, an object, an event, a taste, a sound, or a scent can bring back memories we have not thought about for years. This fragrance did exactly that to me. The very first encounter transported me back to the carefree, joyful, gently sunlit days of spring or early summer in the 2000s. Fresh, delicately floral, and clean, it is free from excessive sweetness, indolic nuances, detergent-like sharpness, or any of the other accords that can sometimes weigh down fragrances of this kind. A beautiful, feminine, girlish, and innocent composition. And, just like a memory, fleeting...

For an EDT it has a very impressive longevity and sillage, not gonna lie. But to me it smells like every other Avon fragrance from the 2000's that everyone and their mother and aunt wore so I can't take it seriously. Nor do I find it worth the price.

I received a sample of this and I have to agree with a reviewer below ( Onlyclean) that for me as well this is a nostalgic scent. Reminds me of one of my aunts when I was growing up Yes it’s feminine but I can see myself wearing this.

You have to be able to smell musk and appreciate it to appreciate this fragrance. This is a sophisticated and addictive take on a simpler but beautiful Egyptian Musk, but you have to wear it all day and catch whiffs of yourself to experience all the layers this has, whiffs that make you say, "Oh, that's goooood." It's thick but not cloying, bold but calming, balanced and well-blended. It's an attention-getter, so I'd hesitate before wearing it to the office, but that's just my personality. Uplifting and delicious, one you want to consume or eat somehow because it's just that good.

Completely generic and cheap. I have trust issues now.

2026 EDT and Body Cream In Summer... she performs her intoxicating magic like an arabian Dancer ... in Winter she turns into a fantastic cold hearted sexy beast - love her on my jumpers and throws. Oh the joy of finding out that the body cream isn't a disappointment - this is lush with patchouli, the bergamot in the cream is sharp for the first 10 minutes almost too much but it thankfully passes away into a lovely cosy orange blossom, amber musk patchouli dream. I highly recommend the body cream you could even wear it alone - Elizabeth Arden White Tea Orange Blossom is insanely good on top of this too. The EDT is the very best out of the two versions, she's still as gorgeous and modern today as she was when she first struck out in my face all those years ago. And yes you can just wear her alone but I'd definitely do 15 sprays on your clothes, the sillage is that of Amouage 46 with that much powering you. If you want to try Charlotte Tilbury Magic Potion and any rose perfume with Narcisso Rodriguez For Her... you'll knock your senses off with the intoxicating bomb you're experiencing, to date, this is my absolute 💯 best combination for sexy yet uplifting therapy.

Still don’t like it. I don’t know what the hell I’m smelling.

Even tho i haven’t smelled it until i turned 13 and no one im pretty sure no one wore it in my family before But it just smells like the most nostalgic memories when i was 3-6 Years old [I remember a tremendous amount of memories literally everything happened in my childhood] The sensuality and warmth of the musk here needs to be studied at schools No soapy clean musk its way more complicated So many layers Strong Skin Musk Dusty mature amber Cashmeran background Powdery Sandalwoody feel Some earthiness from the vetiver and patchouli And so much orange blossom ofc The way it sticks to the skin for houurss and clothes for dayyss is incredible The way it lingers in the air powerfully is amazing It leaves a dusty powdery musky ambery skin like trail and has an outstanding projection Full of affection and warmth i loveee ittt !!!!!!

I rarely put perfumes directly onto my skin but Narciso is an exception. Smells like warm, cozy skin heated by the sun. The muskiness is so warm and inviting. Seductive yet innocent.

I am an impulsive buyer(with everything). So If i smell something pleasant and it still smells pleasant when i leave the store i usually buy it. This is one of those purchases. Its simple design and monochrome bottle was interesting. I remembered it smelled strong .one spray i got all the top notes. I do believe Michelle Obama said this is her favorite fragrance. I have many to choose from everyday so i rarely pick it for the day. It's scent doesn't bother me or impress me. Its performance is soild. Fairly priced for a risk free daily use canadate.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Narciso Rodriguez Yes I know, I am fascinated by Narciso Rodriguez fragrances, I definitely don't have them all, far from it. But this purity and freshness that his fragrances have is hard to beat, I love musk and the feeling it gives me, feminine and sweet! This For Her EdT from 2003 is fantastic, I love it. It has a floral fresh opening that lasts the whole time, it has very long durability and strong radiance (silage), it is really a hit.

I really enjoy musky scents and I enjoy patchouli in some perfumes, however I think the patchouli and maybe also the vetiver are far too prominent on my skin. I'm not sure if others get that same scent coming to the forefront, but if you aren't a fan of strong patchouli, this is not going to be the musk you'll want to wear. It does get softer on the drydown of course so if you like this house overall, I'm sure this one will do just fine as a musky option.

Another fragrance I received a sample of in the post and yet another lovely fragrance from this house. I don’t really hear much of them yet whenever I try one of their feminine fragrances I’m always impressed. This is another that doesn’t disappoint and I enjoyed wearing my sample of this. Office friendly and non offensive it’s a good daily scent.

I already reviewed this but i need to say it again Im soooo obsessed with that tv-static dustiness I crave it in any scent I’m incredibly in love with this musky ambery earthy dusntiness i llllvvvttt I experience the same dustiness in 212 NYC for her by herrera but much more floral subtle and softer Also in pure musc but its a bit sharp and chemical like yo some people [I’m obsessed with it sharpness] These Musky Cashmeran Dusty scents tends to smell incredibly sensual and unique on me Especially Cus they perform very Strong Like Im the star of the show while everyone around me smells like BR540 yuck

I'm honestly pretty disappointed by this scent. I'd been looking forward to trying it and it just missed the mark. So at first, it just smelled very muddled. I couldn't really identify anything specific in the top notes, just kind of floral and musky, but I definitely got the mature thing people have said in previous comments. It very quickly dried down and then I could barely smell it even though I used 4 spritz and moisturized before applying it. What I could smell was very light and mostly smelled a little like vanilla, which I'm not a fan of in perfumes, especially if it's the main impression. It's fine to round out a layered scent, but I don't enjoy it on it's own. But even so, I can barely smell anything and I've not even been wearing this for 30 minutes. I'm also not thrilled with their tester. I bought a pack of samples and this sample was the smallest in the set at only 0.02 oz. Other samples in the set are 0.04-0.07 oz. I feel like this is being overly chintzy and giving an impression of rarity and value, as if this one is much more special than the rest. It's definitely expensive, but not more so than many other perfumes that are popular, but it doesn't have the longevity of a high quality perfume or the general scent quality. It's sleek packing suggests something very elegant and classic, but it just doesn't deliver. And there's not much I hate more than something being all flash without substance. So I am not a fan of this and will probably not try their other fragrances.

If you love florals but aren't a fan of rose, you'll probably enjoy this. It's a musky white floral that feels very elegant. The other versions of this fragrance include rose, which is why this one (the EDT) is my favourite.

I do not like the For Her EDP, Lovely or Lazy Sunday Morning, but I like this. They all smell too mature for me. Looking at the notes here, I like all of them, especially bergamot, musk, amber, vanilla and vetiver so I guess it makes sense as to why I like it. It’s unique, but definitely some what mature, but not as mature as the smells alike. It smells expensive.

After I sprayed it on my arm the air smelled like clean musky, citrus florals. Then I took the first sniff. It’s musky, warm, floral, earthy, mature with fizziness/crispiness of the bergamot. It dries down to something subtly fresh and creamy, ever so slightly citrusy but not fruity. I can smell dustiness too. It feels ambiguous to me especially the more it dries down. It becomes skin-like (or skin but better) and hard to differentiate. After few hours I’m left with just a sharp scent that is annoyingly. I wish I liked it more but I guess it’s not for me, unfortunately.

The most mature fragrance in my collection. Though not Red Door / Cabotine mature, she’s cooler. My first l perfume purchase as a teen, and blind bought because it came in a baby pink gift box, and the bottle just called to me; I’d describe myself as dark. Rarely do I reach for this. For me it works only in cool, humid, and overcast spring days. In winter I need something sweeter to brighten the bare cold day, and no way this works it hot high humidity, its not fresh at all. The woman who wear this is deep, about her business, no nonsense, and doesn’t care to please you. I’ve also realized that I dont love ylang ylang in my scents, thats just me. Even 8 years later im still growing into this. She’s intimidating. I’ll describe her like this and maybe my fellow Africans will understand. Shes that aunt from back home that made it by herself, has an apartment in Paris, wears that black radiance copper lipstick, always smells like makeup bc she probably sells Avon and Mary Kay on the side? Yes her. And we love her and want to be her one day.

Weird... I don't know if I am anosmic to the musk used here, and possibly the rest of the composition is too cool, linear, and sheer for me to register, or if the problem is that my skin chemistry just instantly kills it. 3 sprays from a genuine sample bottle, and I smell nothing, absolutely nothing at all. Not even a my skin, but better vibe. I don't like to rate this one as low, I absolutely love some Narciso offerings, but equally, I can't like something when I can not smell it. I don't even get the faintest of whiff of any fragrance. It's simply invisible to me. I will review the For Her EDP instead, that one I can smell, albeit very faintly. I wish I could detect the beautiful fragrance that everyone is describing here.

One of my all-time favorites. It's powdery and floral, with a beautiful musky base that gives it depth and character without ever feeling heavy. It has a slightly dry quality that I love, keeping it refined and sophisticated rather than sweet or girly. To me, it almost feels like it takes inspiration from a unisex fragrance, but remains unmistakably feminine in a very clean, elegant, and subtly sexy way. It's the kind of scent that feels effortlessly put together rather than overtly seductive, yet it still has a quietly alluring, warm quality. Some people dismiss it because it's so popular, but popularity doesn't make a fragrance tacky. For Her is popular for a good reason: it's elegant, versatile, timeless, and incredibly easy to wear. Clean, polished, feminine, and warmly seductive, it's a fragrance I never get tired of.

I finished a bottle. Works well in spring. Working thru my backup bottle. This is intense compared to the EDP. when paired together the EDT is actually more wearable/less sharp bcuz the EDP softens the sharpness of the EDT. I think I will reach for this more to pair them and finish this bottle up. I’m so glad they work together. So in love with this pair

Uma vez eu disse para minha sobrinha que quando eu morrer, tudo o que é meu será dela. Menos esse perfume. Quero ser enterrada com ele. Se eu virar pombagira, quero ele de oferenda. Por ser preto, espera-se uma bomba de musk mas não! Ele é surpreendentemente delicado, confortável e macio, quase uma segunda pele. Tem cheiro de mulher que é o amor da sua vida, que você as vezes pensa nela passando um filme na cabeça tal qual uma montagem porca do Capcut. Ele é lindo, uma jóia da perfumaria moderna. Dá vontade de chorar.

Perfection, except for the drydown which bothers me a little (I know now it's because of the vanilla). This has it all...sweetness at the top, musk and amber which tell the story, then a little spice in the drydown. I can't get enough and have bought the bottle several times. One of my favorites...and I don't care how many others wear it...I wear it for me. I've just tried the EDP version and I love that even more...smoother, a tad stronger, and no vanilla to poke at me. 5/5

Blind buy fail.. I have been a but sensitive to fragrance lately and was hoping for something a lot lighter 😬 But the scent itself is very pretty. Brings me back to the early 90s

This is a perfume designed by Narciso Rodriguez to replicate the random Egyptian musk perfume worn by his very close, dear friend Carolyn Bessette Kennedy in the 90s. Apparently Egyptian musk was Carolyn's signature perfume and it is no longer possible to source. This black bottle was made 'For Her' (Carolyn) and is supposedly a very close match to her Egyptian musk. I would consider this a 'buildable' perfume. It is quiet strong and i would spray one or two sprays first and see how you feel before spraying more or it might be overwhelming to you or others around. Having said that, it dries down beautifully. It does feel very 90s, strong, powerful, in a good Carolyn Bessette way. If you want to be taken seriously without wearing a overpowering fragrance, this is good. This perfume has always been a best seller, but it's going to get even more popular now due to the Carolyn Bessette Kennedy association.

This is a mature scent, requires max 3 sprays otherwise it’s overwhelming. It does not smell good on me personally
