Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 252 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased August 2025 Quite rosey and a little sweet. Needs patience and thorough testing overall for anybody. This is in line with Ombre Nomade, if you can't find that one and you need that modern rosey oud hit then this will do. Batch: 22/10/016162/10 from October 2022.
I like this fragrance for the first five minutes before it becomes an absolutely screaming synthetic oud note forever and a day. I was actually at a sporting event and someone in the crowd was either wearing this or something like it and it annoyed the ever living h*ll out of me. It’s cloying and obnoxious to be around. Please stop.
Franck Olivier’s Oud Touch touches me in all the right ways. Clone comparison: I haven’t smelt Dior Oud Ispahan. I own Fragrance World Oud Ispahan and Maison Alhambra L’Oudh, which smell almost identical to each other but a bit different to the Franck Olivier. The Franck Olivier adds like 15% creamy vanilla to the composition, which is chef’s kiss for the DNA. You wouldn’t think this has any vanilla unless you compared it to the Fragrance World and Maison Alhambra clones, which are both quite dry compositions, unlike the more balanced Franck Olivier. Given the track record of FW and MA, I suspect the Franck Olivier is more of a twist than a clone of Dior Oud Ispahan.
Sneezing right now because of this Perfume Synthetic nuclear scent The only time you can wear this is in less than 15c degrees
Do not blind buy I did that and have had this fragrance for almost two years and idk it’s probably becuase I’m young but this is just not for me I can see an older person wearing this but if you are above the age of like 40 I wouldn’t not recommend this. The performance and sillage are absolutely beast mode tho.
After months of reading polarising reviews, I finally bit the bullet on a sample. If you love Dior Oud Ispahan, this is an incredible alternative for a fraction of the cost. I was skeptical, but that first spray confirmed it, it's the high-end scent profile I’ve been chasing at a much more affordable price. I need to do a side by side comparison to truly see what the differences are. This is well blended oud, rose, and other subtle sweet notes. It won’t be for everyone, but for fans of the DNA, it’s a must try. Given the niche-level quality and impressive performance, it represents true value. Oud Ispahan is a beautiful fragrance and if money is no object go for the original. If funds are currently tight, this will definitely do the job. 8/10
In the shop sprayed to tester paper. It is disgusting and very very long lasting. 2 days and still smell on paper. Oud and strong rose. I don't like it.
This fragrance is not for everyone but I enjoy wearing this from time to time. This fragrance starts of strong and a little off putting but as it settles it transforms to this beautiful sweet, Floral fragrance to my nose. I have gotten compliments when I wear this fragrance because it smells absolutely amazing in the air but try not to over spray this because less is more with this fragrance. If you like rose 🌹 fragrances then I would recommend Oud Touch because the rose is prominent in here and I love it and longevity and sillage are way above average I'm talking 12+ hours on my skin . But another rose fragrance that I love and recommend is Gucci Guilty EDP which also has a beautiful rose that is very radiant and somewhat interesting for a designer fragrance.
First and foremost, not a blind buy safe. When I first sprayed it, I got a somewhat sweet opening mainly with raspberry and caramel (not a soft one, more like a freshly made caramel sauce with only sugar and water), but then, the smell of a resinous rose quickly appeared and lasted for a really long time. It dried down ambery with a not really noticeable vanilla, but still with a great presence of rose. Even though I'm a fan of roses, I didn't like how it was blended, since, to me, it smells like baby powder from the beginning to the "end". However, at its price, it is something that rose lovers should at least try, since I consider it really elegant. About its wearability, I find it really hard to pull off, considering it suitable only for winter cold nights and early mornings, since it is really dense and, even when slightly oversprayed, can be overwhelming. It actually has a really strong projection for 4-5h and it lasts roughly 20h on my skin and many days on clothes, which might sound crazy, but that's why I consider it not to be a blind buy safe. If you buy it because you like it a bit, it will annoy you the way the perfume "follows" you. Overall, I give it a 6-6.5/10, but depending on your taste, this can really be an hidden gem and a bang for your buck.
No joke this was my first ever fragrance in 2022. At first it was very stinky and smelled like pure oud and at the time I thought it did not suit me at all, after I let it macerate for a long time I smelled it and I honestly absolutely loved it I mean you get this sweet amber woody opening with orange and raspberry, it is very sweet kind of like a smoky caramel with rose This shit will make you stand out, EVERY head will twist in every way if you have this on! 5 sprays Absolut Maximum, And it easily lasts over 12h no joke!! Despite all the positives I still can’t find the right time to wear it, it smells amazing but I don’t live it Dubai and I’m not 30+, so I like to layer it with a bunch of other vinter fragrances, Full review: I absolutely love this I mean if you want to smell like a sweet amber and oud millionare Don’t hesitate, 25$ is an absolute steal! I would recommend this to the younger youthful guys but I will always recommend you to test it, 100% test it guys, and remember you will get compliments trust me, I’ve worn it maybe 5-6 times and have gotten at least one person mention how good I smell, And yes, you heard it here first
Idk if my bottle was a dud or whatnot but holy sh*t this smelled like mosquito repellent. Based on the notes it should be really great and everyone here seems to like it but the bottle I had smelled like mosquito repellent spray and people around me said the same thing.
Being a huge fan of Oud Ispahan, I thought there was no reason to not try this one out considering how cheap it retails for. The best way to describe it is a fruity and more youthful version of Oud Ispahan. Not as sophisticated, especially in the opening. However, the similarities start to appear after the first 30 min, where the fruitiness has mostly vanished, and you are left with an Oud Ispahan with some sweetness and incense. It does not have the premium oud note, which Oud Ispahan has. Considering the price, it is completely understandable. This fragrance is for the ones who want to scratch their Oud Ispahan "itch", without having to fork out the money for it. The performance is not as good as Oud Ispahan, but it lasts me well over 10 hours. It is more beginner/ blind buy friendly than Oud Ispahan, but I would still suggest that the buyer should try the Dior alternative before buying this one to get some sense of what to expect.
Bought a bottle in 2023, no joke doesn't last less than 20hrs and projects strongly for a while. May not be as smooth as oud ispahan (which is expected from the price point) but it still does its job well and smell quite great in the air. Definitely my most complimented fragrance in my collection, would buy another bottle cause of performance itself. Would overall say its a good introduction to 'oud' fragrances. Shit atomiser tho. 8.5/10
It's a great alternative to Diptique's Oud Palao. They are very similar, but Oud Touch is less animalic (I guess the skanky note from Oud palao is replicated here with indolic jasmine). Longevity is good. Overall I love it, although i would choose Oud Palao over this. There was something very weird with the bottle however. It is pretty cheap and when i pulled the bottle from the box the cap was stuck on the bottle. And it was also pretty sticky. It turns out the cap is from some kind of resin (epoxy?), and it didn't cure completely. So it has stuck to the bottle, and now it has my fingerprints literally embossed. Pretty funny, but I guess that's what you get for a price
This is a good fragrance that is not for everyone!! I have had my bottle for a few years now but when I first purchased this fragrance I remember spraying my wrist then going downstairs to my kitchen to grab a snack and my wife abruptly turned to me and asked what was I wearing? To my surprise she said that it smelled really nice! I believe the secret to wearing this fragrance is less is more, I found that when this is applied lightly it really smells pleasant in the air to others around you. Yes the opening is harsh and funky but this settles into a decent slightly powdery rose fragrance with just a hint of funk and sweetness that I like. If you don't like this your right it does suck, and if you like this fragrance your right as well because fragrances are subjective and we all have different tastes and preferences. But for me I like Oud Touch and I believe it's one of the best budget fragrances on the market that's not for everyone but it's definitely for me.
Toleen by Lattafa and Oud Touch smell very similar though the longevity and silage of Toleen is longer and louder respectively.
A genuine bomb but I unfortunately cannot find myself wearing this anywhere other than a funeral so I just gave it to my father . It's not a bad scent but it's surely got an age .
Ever open up a rose and just take a big wiff. A fresh cut rose. This is a rose scent. Feminine.
When i first got this i didnt really know much about fragrances so now after letting it sit for like 10 months ill give a honest review. First off the reason i bought this is because of ''crazy'' performance , when i was new i really got dragged into buying some pretty bad fragrances , i saw the price to performance aspect and i went and bought it. Worst mistake , the best way to describe the scent at first was that it smelled like beer from a distance , not in a good way. performance was insane but you would not want a scent like this to last , and after letting it sit for a while its gotten even more potent , but now it smells like a pensioner im not even joking , horrible blind buy and not recommended for anyone.
Oud Ispahan is one of my favorite scents of all time, and this is nothing like it! This is a strong masculine scent and very much oud, whereas Oud ispahan is a very well-blended oud-based floral that is more feminine leaning. I threw out this bottle soon after purchasing
The opening is very seductive with hints of creaminess, raspberry and sophistication. Then it dies down to a very linear oud with a slight berry for HOURS. This stuff is strong. It reminds me very much of One Man Show Oud Edition. My guess is that they both employ the same oud compound/s. For me personally, oud is nice to smell in spurts. To catch a whiff here and there throughout the day would be a pleasant experience. However, this is in your face at all times. Maybe spray one of your ankles. Once. It's great that it lasts all day, but you really have to be committed to smelling like Oud for 24 hours.
Layer it with creed aventus or any citrus perfume and you will like it
I purchased this almost 2 years ago. I couldn’t use it because it was way too “barnyady”. I thought it was a bad batch but I’ve tested the authentic Oud Ispahan and it’s spot on. Lucky for me, maceration has worked marvelously for this. I was showing my cousin what the definition of barnyard Oud was, and this has changed a ton ! So much more refined and nowhere near as pungent as it was. Now I’ll gladly wear this a few times in the coming cooler months.
Mmmmm...I can see with some people dump on that cologne, but this doesn't smell bad at all, epecially for that price. Actually, I think this smells more expensive than it is. But still, I have to say : this doesn't smells like "me" at all. I think this fragrance would be more appropriate for an older type of guy (30's +), and also would better suits darker skins (africans, arabians, indies...) For the rest, it is a very strong fragrance with a "funky" opening (altough it does't bother me personally), not office safe for sure lol and not really casual either. Cold weather only (not necessarily super cold, but above 20°C you might choke yourself lol) and definitively not for everyone but still, for that price : I recommand.
This cologne is pure garbage. I threw my bottle in the trash bu thought I may have had a bad bottle. Nope, I smelled it again on a Uber driver and instantly knew what it was. It smells like melted down moth balls. I kid you not it is the worst colognes ever. If you like this I guess you like walking around smelling like a Port-a-potty. Yuck.
I have two bottles of this…Yikes. In the very beginning of this hobby/obsession I was a lot quantity over quality. Lots of YouTube reviewers talked this up as that introduction to Oud scent, emphasis on the rose angle of Oud. Yes, this is fair and true, strong rose with a classic Smokey Oud accord. It ultimately performs great, but it smells cheap in the end. I never loved this one, and liked it just enough to wear in public maybe once or twice. Wearing it now, I find it so linear and flat, just loud rose and Oud. In the early days where clones were few and far between, and Oud was very pricey and varied in profile to my then uneducated nose this was a great deal, pretty sure it was 20 bucks Canadian, but now I do not recommend it. So many better choices, and better profiles, to explore. I don’t regret buying it (maybe the 2nd one) but since that time, way better options exist.
Smells quite close to the uncompromising Rohan by Penhaligon
I love a good cheapie, but this one just 𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴 as cheap as its price tag. All I get is a bunch of synthetic oud, with no real depth or complexity to it. Even if you're just looking for an inexpensive introduction to oud fragrances, there's better options out there like Shaghaf Oud, Qaa'ed, or maybe Velvet Oud.
strong and bold fragrance last long and days on clothing
Initial impression: Impressive! Very good oud perfume (regardless of the low price). And potent. If you like oud, might as well get two bottles.
