Chic, feminine, sultry. A winter time citrus that has depth and warmth. Beautiful.

My mother gave me this along with Saint by Kat Von D and Pink Sugar by Aquolina when I was a kid and I just never reach for it. I imagine it's a good clubbing scent for someone who doesn't work up a sweat like me. It's definitely a darker sharper scent to me, although that could be because my particular bottle is from half a lifetime ago. I never reach for it. Sorry mama. Can't wait to nab your Flowerbomb when you get tired of it though<3

This was me new city new world and on the pulse of 30. This was the scent of building a new circle in Melbourne. I felt positively vamp with this perfume something makes me think it overpowered me but I wore it well. It was the stage of bad boyfriends endless nights out faltering connections and cheekily unrepeatable behaviour! I treasure its memory - I agree its sexy and sweet alluring and lingers . if it’s not being made the way it was then, it’s truly a pity

I bought this for nostalgia because it was one of my best friend’s signature scents when we were at uni. It’s a deep, warm jasmine and orange blossom scent, warmed with vanilla. It is in the same arena as Dior Addict and Mugler Alien - strong, feminine, floral vanilla confidence. Performance is decent, but I remember it being incredible 20 years ago.

I couldn't believe people voted that this is a citrus heavy perfume at the top of this page. I'd describe this as 70% jasmine. It's a dark, soft jasmine. I think the orange blossom and honey make it sweeter and mellower than straight jasmine. When I see citrus on the rankings, I think bright/tart/juicy, but that is definitely not armani code. This is lovely, dark jasmine, with that honey and orange blossom rounding it out.

I bought the original when it first came out and absolutely love it. I went through several bottles, and I am down to my last little bit left in the formulation that had the flowers/lace on the bottle. I am so bummed they reformulated this one!! It is an intoxicating and delicious scent. I typically wear this in the colder months. It is definitely a sweet vanilla type fragrance, but has a unique smell to it. It almost smells like Alien in a way. Great longevity (well I'm not sure if the new formula has great longevity, but the old version does). It turns heads and people always ask what I am wearing when I have it on. I love it so much I am tempted to try the new formulation, but the mixed reviews have me hesitating! For now, I am savoring the last bit I have left.

I recently rediscovered Armani Code for women at Berlin airport. I've been flirting with it all these years since its launch in 2006. It’s in the same line with the original Mugler Alien Eau de Parfum and JPG's Classique, sultry and erotic. Armani Code evokes lovely nostalgic vibes from the 2000s and I finally will add it to my collection.

does this smell anything like cinema by YSL?

This smells like dish soap to me. Dish soap smells nice but I’m fine smelling it just while I wash the dishes. Also not great performance, I layered it with an EDT, went to the gym and by the end of the gym I could only smell the other scent, not this one.

Wow - what the hell happened to this scent? It used to be a powerful when it was launched and lasted all day. Fast forward to the new formulation without the lace and I can’t smell it after 30 minutes. I’m huffing my arm where I sprayed it and I can’t smell anything. This is so sad! Armani - what the heck.

Анонім★★★★★

Discontinued?! It's iconic. So sad. If you want something similar to the code line, but closer to the gold code, try kayali utopia coconut

This smells like candied orange peel & a hint of vanilla. It also has a bit of a fresh laundry smell to it, but I know that’s the orange blossom; that note reminds me of fresh laundry in certain perfumes. I actually smell the ginger more than jasmine. I don’t smell jasmine at all actually. In order I smell, sweet orange, ginger, orange blossom, honey & sandalwood. I never smelled the original formulation, but the newest one does not feel like a winter/night scent at all. To me, this is a summer fragrance for day or night. It’s not heavy. It’s bright with only a very slight thickness from the honey note. The sweetness is balanced & it’s more fresh than anything else. Very pleasant but not long lasting. It definitely reminds me of the early 00s. It smells like a perfume you could get from PacSun back in the day. I like it but I won’t be repurchasing after my bottle runs out.

reminds me a lot of YSL neon. very sweet

I first tried this perfume over 10 years ago when it had its old lace bottle design, and at the time I thought it was a unique and beautiful scent, unlike anything I'd ever smelled in any other perfume. It blended well with my skin, had a nice sillage, and wasn't heavy or overly sweet or unpleasant. Then the bottle design changed, and I believe the formulation changed as well. Over the years, the perfume became well-known, and I started noticing it on other women in the street. Perhaps that's why I no longer think of it as a unique and appealing scent.

Back in the day, this fragrance was very original with the scent of orange peel and orange blossom. Now I use this and it gives e a headache. But I used to love it.

White floral and mixture of honey is so challenging for me. It’s nauseous on dry down . The opening is so nice with the bitter orange smell but it transforms to honey which is really sickening to me then to jasmine and finally I get a mixture sandalwood, jasmine and honey on dry down which makes me nauseous. I understand why people like honey perfumes but I just realized that too much white floral or honey in perfumes makes me nauseous. I wish there was nutmeg or vetiver to neutralize the cloying effect it has on me. I’m happy I didn’t buy more than 5ml of this.

Анонім★★★★★

Gosh, it is so pretty! However, it doesn’t last on my skin more than 30 minutes. I think my skin just eats anything with honey in it. Any fragrance I have with honey disappears incredibly quickly! It’s too bad, because it’s warm and sultry while it lasts and I’d really enjoy this if it did! I’m going to try it on clothes instead and see if I get get this to last on me!

Анонім★★★★★

On my skin it smells like clean laundry. A safe pick if you're having a day where you're not sure what to wear. It's not terribly complex or sophisticated but it's a good all-rounder for any occasion, is good for any season, is non-offensive, is a crowd-pleaser and is comforting. Not bad really.

Divan, divan parfem ali meni uzrokuje mučninu nakon sat, dva. Ne znam zašto, bočicu imam već par godina i nikako je potrošiti. Zbilja je moćan parfem.

I was expecting this to be a sultry, deep, and smooth orange blossom and honey fragrance, and I swear I remember it being so years ago. Surprisingly, this smells extremely similar to Code Cashmere, which is not at all what I expected. I've been in love with Code Cashmere for years, so I'm not mad at it, but this is so NOT what I had hoped for. I wanted that distinct honey, ginger and orange blossom. I wonder if it's the newest formulation that has changed, because I swear this smelled different before.

Beautiful citrus vanilla floral fragrance. It became one of my favorites. Very cosy from the honey and vanilla and classy from the orange blossom. My only complaint is that no matter what I do it doesn’t last:( a few hours on my skin and longer on the clothes but becomes a skin scent fast. Maybe that’s the point of it but I’d much prefer this scent profile to project and last.

Анонім★★★★★

Bought it purely based on all the positive results, checking notes, seemed it cannot be a miss and yet it was. Idk what was I expecting but it ain’t it. Very citrusy opening, mixed with ginger and jasmine. It doesn’t really change over time. Can’t detect any honey at all. For me it’s a skin scent. It’s not bad, it’s just not my type of scent. The main things coming to mind when I smell it is the 90’ and gothic girls. I love both, tbf. Rather intense scent, definitely good for dates and evenings.

Анонім★★★★★

This checks off a lot of things at once. It's warm, light, and fluffy! Very sensual and a little dark. I can't really put my finger on it. It's just lovely. My only borderline complaint is the orange blossom can be a bit too heady and it can also smell a little outdated at times, but its otherworldly qualities makes these non-issues.

So I’m unsure about this one. I read the reviews and they are all so mixed. On purchasing and smelling this I personally smell lemon - very strong lemon and then an airy citrus, very light to me. A lot of people say this is a winter fragrance but since it’s very light and citrus I’d say a summer 🤷♀️

R.I.P. Giorgio Armani. Gorgeous vanilla citrusy white floral. The honey and sandalwood warm it up while the jasmine and vanilla keep it fresh. The juicy, zesty orange notes fade away and reveal a gorgeous pure warm drydown. I wouldn't call the composition unique but I still consider it beautifully done. I have used up 2 thirds of my 30 ml bottle which is amazing considering my vast collection and the longevity of the fragrance. The scent is light but concentrated enough to give you at least 6 hours performance without the need to refresh. It is also strong enough to radiate from the skin and leave a nice trail. Great for winter and early spring which is when I used it the most. The scent is the exact opposite of the bottle. I expected a much darker fragrance based on the colour. This contrast was a nice surprise. While I love the black to purple ombre, I prefer the original floral print. The shape is simple but elegant and easy to use.

Rare beauty smells kinda similar as this, but a bit warmer. I like layering them, and i”ve been a big fan of this scent for over 10 years

After I smelled this on my fellow goth friend, I had to buy it after a few months of battling myself over spending £50-60 on 30ml of perfume. I'm usually a "cheap treasure" kind of girl but this is definitely expensive treasure. In the first 30 minutes after spraying, it really reminds me of that cosy, apple pie vibe of Amor Amor as the orange and vanilla take over. Soon they shift a little into the background and blend with creamy jasmine, creating something that's dark and mysterious, yet warm and welcoming. After about 5-6 hours the creamy, powdery jasmine and vanilla still linger but the orange is almost completely gone. It's a beautiful, warm, cosy, autumnal fragrance.

This was gifted to me by a close friend and I absolutely love it! I’m usually not a big fan of orange scents, but this one is done so beautifully. The orange blossom really shines and is perfectly balanced by the ginger and sandalwood. I’ll admit, I don’t pick up the vanilla at all, but the overall vibe feels like a classy, date-night fragrance with a steak and wine dinner. It even leans a little unisex. It might not be for everyone, but I honestly can’t get enough of it.

I understand why at the time this fragrance was a go-to scent and loved by many—and it is beautiful. Unfortunately, I missed out on the original formulation, which I’m assuming is way more beautiful than this already is. To confirm, it is nice and it seems like it could be someone’s signature scent, but compared to the fragrances out there nowadays, this feels like it could either be a classic fragrance or dated and generic. I can say that I’m not in love with it, but I can appreciate the history behind it and its influence in the perfume world. Wearing it is a hit or miss. Not sure whether I should keep it or not, but it definitely shines in the winter.

08. July 2025 Just bought a full 75ml bottle of this fragrance in its original formula but eau de toilette version, which is not in Fragrantica database, but can be found on other competitive sites. lace pattern bottle, its actually from July 2007, first edition, still smells fresh and amazing, i literally paid pennies for it. I have both EDP original formula and now this EDT, and honestly for summer time EDT is the best!. The oranges in EDT are soooo juicy, fresh, yummy, sparkling. The EDP version is bit more heavier, and more suitable for the colder time of the year, yet this one is sooooo fresh. Even though i read the notes are the same on another website, but i feel EDT has more oranges and jasmine in it, than honey. Lasting power is amazing, and so seductive. Now its not that popular, so its nice to wear it and not smell like every other person. Great find
