Armani's My Way is a heavy, creamy, indolic white floral with a bubblegum, candied quality due to the tuberose. It's very sweet, sugary, and thick, and one I foresee to be headache-inducing if oversprayed. And it would be easy to overspray this one! It's not airy or transparent in the way I like my florals to be (for reference, my current signature scent is Chloé), but you may like that about My Way. My Way is not exactly affordable, but that is compensated for by its beastly projection and longevity. I'm conflicted in that it is a pleasant scent but I think I would get sick of it quickly if I were to wear it myself - perhaps one I would prefer smelling on other people.
mixed feelings about this. if hot pink were a smell. warm fruity floral. something very unique about it definitely not generic. very strong and long lasting, so powerful i had to gift it to a friend because of the headaches. that was years ago and perhaps i could handle it now, open to trying again
This has borderline no scent. I can see on my wrist where I sprayed. I sprayed on clean, unscented, moistured skin. My nose isn't stuffy. There are no other strong smells around me. And even after initial spraying that I can visually see on my skin, this has almost no smell. Really, really weak. Generic smelling, of what can be smelled. Faintly bubblegummy. Subtly grape-y. Somewhat tuberose. It would be okay and inoffensive, if it was anything more than BARELY detectable.
After taking a break from this for a few months and repurchasing it again, my reaction was: what a stinker! How could I wear this??? That sweetness really hits you in a synthetic way!
This ALWAYS comes with me to Miami 🌸🔥 I get the most compliments with this one 💫the hot bartender, the buff chauffeur, and the cutie in the club or even the respectful airport ticket attendants be indulging me in compliments with this one. Call it basic or girly 💕 but it lasts long, smells amazing and attracts the attention if you want it ⭐️✨
My way is a bright and elegant floral fragrance that opens with fresh bergamot and orange blossom before developing into a rich heart of tuberose and jasmine. The warm base of vanilla, white musk, and cedar creates a soft, feminine finish, making it a versatile fragrance for both everyday wear and special occasions.
I like, but honestly it smells like deodorant inside of an armpit. Like, deodorant that’s already on the skin. If it smelt like untouched deodorant, I would like. Maybe a wee bit more. With just a hint of fruitiness. Just not for me sadly
If instead of orange blossom, it was orange rind, this would be so much better. There's just a little something missing here.
generic, car freshener
Personally, I do NOT own this fragrance, however my relative does have this, therefor I've smelled it before, but can't exactly comment on much since I haven't tested it myself. When they first spray it, you get this bubble gum type of scent and if you sniff enough, you can feel a weird note in there. Not sure how to describe it or what it is, but that's what I get. Bubble gum with something a bit weird. The room that they spray it in still smells the same about maybe 2 hours later, and then starts to disappear. I used to want to blind buy it, and now that I know what it smells like, I don't think I want it anymore due to that weird-ish smell. But I get why some people might enjoy this! Again, I've not tested this on myself, so maybe on my skin the weird smell wouldn't be that bad, but looking at other perfumes I've tested, those types of notes usually pull out more on my skin. I don't think it would be a safe blind buy, definitely recommend to smell it and test it before you get it! Isn't gonna be everyone's cup of tea. I might test the fragrance on myself one day and then edit the comment
smells clean, a bit like candy in the same way as gucci flora. generic but very likeable. the orange blossom biting through the sweetness is the best part of this fragrance, id say.
Another generic inoffensive fragrance. Not bad at all just common
I strongly dislike the opening of this and regretted spraying it. But once it dries down it's really pleasant. Locks the sort of grape scent that I enjoy in white florals, but I still like it. Not enough to purchase it, it's a little too generic and lacks depth. I liked Vera Wang's 'love' better.
Scent Review Comparison: La Voie & My Way I love the scent profile of My Way so when I saw Maison Alhambra's version I had to try it! Keep in mind not all inspirations/schmoops are made the same but I have found Maison Alhambra's to be a good house. If you are not familiar with the brand it is a sub-bramd of Lattafa which makes some of the most popular viral scents! In short, My Way is a sophisticated white floral flowerbomb! I love florals - rose, muguet (aka lily of the valley), tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, gardenia, hyacinth, magnolia, lilac, etc. On a test strip, My Way is deeper and perhaps more refined. If you have a trained nose you can smell the different notes. To me, it is a classically modern take on florals - not heavy on aldehydes like some classic scents but I think this one will stand the test of time. On a test strip, La Voie is brighter and juicier, if that makes sense. Do you get the different notes? I don't, I just get a glorious vivid and succulent tuberose in every possible way. Is it as refined as My Way? To me, no. However, I am 100% fine with that! On my skin, My Way turns into more of a skin scent. It is soft but there is a deepness to the notes. It is a lush and beautiful scent. La Voie is much more aromatic and luminous. There is a scent bubble. It also lasts hours on me compared to My Way. I truly adore them both! I haven't layered them yet but that will be my next step. Do you need both? Of course not but if you enjoy My Way's scent profile and are looking for a more wallet friendly alternative (3.4oz for under 20!) then I highly recommend La Voie!
Nice but a bit too meh. It's very easy to wear, will not offend in any setting and has a sweetness that's not tooth rotting unlike some modern perfumes. The tuberose can come off a bit bubblegummy so if that's not your jam, avoid.
I think this is an incredible fragrance for women. I recently bought this for my girlfriend and neither of us have any complaints. Fairly good projection and the longevity is insane for her. I will be able to smell it the next morning after we wake up. Genuinely 12+ hour skin scent, projects well for up to 3-4 hours. It is a little pricey but nothing crazy for similar quality designer. Genuinely one of the best women's fragrances imo. great buy.
I like it. Orange blossom gives me a headache sometimes but this is nice. It’s more citrusy and fresh than I expected.
Perfect summer fragrance. I dont get too much floral, almost none. Simply zesty and fresh beautiful summer perfume.
Grape soda, but you add 6-8 cubes of sugar & spray a very standard floral perfume on top
If I had one word to describe this perfume, it would be 'spring' For the opening, the bergamot and orange blossom definitely adds the perfume a sourish scent and it freshens it. After a while, you start to smell the jasmine and tuberose. Its like you're walking past flower-filled bushes in a vacation field and the smell of the fresh flowers just hits your face. After 2-3 hours of wearing it, the madagascar vanillia and musk leaves an aromatic and powdery smell. It's a classic and basic fragrance but so safe to buy and won't dissapoint you whatsoever. It's feminine, alive, fresh, floral and aromatic. and you get the best out of it when you let it sit for a while in a dark and place. Still, on the negative side, it could be a little more lasting and sillage could definitely be more. I recommend it if you're looking for a fragrance that's safe to blind buy, make it your everyday perfume and gets you compliments.
This was the jasmine scent I had been looking for all along. This perfume smells sweet and fruity and it lasts a long time. It's not the kind of perfume I would normally wear constantly, but there's an evil sweetness to it, so I wear it almost every day, feels more mysterious, confident, and a little magical. It makes me feel like an elf wandering through an enchanted forest.◇
Not mad at it! Quite a nice, soft white floral, pleasantly sweet and feminine. Overtly unoriginal. Could be worn year-round, but would perform its best in spring/summer. Definitely more daytime though. Longevity and sillage are nothing of note, not great, not terrible. Using from a tester, but this bottle is very pretty! Love the contrast of the dark blue top and the pink hue of the fragrance itself. Good for bedtime, but too boring to waste daily wears on it. 4.5/10.
Why does it smell like grape 🥲🥲
Gets a while to get used to it. Smells extremely sweet, almost like lychee? More than 2 sprays and it starts making me sickly. It’s simply okay. If I had to describe this fragrance as if it was a person, it would be one of those classy old aunts that you see once a year during family gatherings, that you somehow always feel judged by.
Sampled: the most pure bubblegum grape-soda tuberose to ever, real sweeeeet. I like it unironically lol.
It‘s giving rolling in love, with less complexity. Just meh.
Would be lovely if it weren’t so sickly sweet. The white florals and bergamot are a nice combo but I can’t actually believe how sugary sweet this is. It smells like grape bubblegum.
I loved the opening, it smelled so fresh and sweet. Then the jasmine started to take over. It slowly turned into my arch-nemesis Tatiana 😩
My college age daughter has fallen in love with this and made it her everyday signature scent. I'd given her multiple decants to help her find something and this is the one she chose. It's very pleasant, feminine, mass appealing. Fruity, floral, and kind of reminds me of the grape Hubba Bubba I loved as a kid.
I stopped a woman in the grocery store to ask what she was wearing--she smelled gorgeous. She told me My Way--a gift from her husband, which I thought was so sweet. Right away I ordered a sample. Here's the problem. There are a bunch of My Way flankers, and I'm pretty sure what I smelled on my friend in the grocery store was not the original but a flanker, but I have no idea which one. The original is a nice, white floral, very feminine, but not really "me." It is what you might imagine as a classic "perfume," if that makes sense. There is nothing offensive about it, but there is also nothing unique about it. I can see this being a very popular summer bride perfume. I like how it smells on me, and it is better in the summer (too floral for the colder months), but not one I would reach for regularly. Armani is generally fairly well priced as designer fragrances go, but this DNA/overall feeling can be found for way less unless you are absolutely in love with it.
