Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée

What a fragrance. You can definitely smell the core gentleman DNA...but this is done exceptionally well. Much easier to wear than Society extreme and could easily be worn all year round at any occasion apart from ultra hot days. It has a light and seductive feel which lingers on the skin and clothes just how a perfume should...no one wants a beast mode unless they are clueless

Smells like a lighter version of royale tobacco

For those stating that the fragrance smelled richer and sweeter when testing it out but leans more aromatic and light once they get a brand new tester - I’ve had the same experience! What you’re smelling from the perfume stores is the smell that developed long after the scent was first opened. When I got my 60ml bottle I was a bit disappointed as well with the more fresh leaning smell. Although I didn’t dislike it, after 3 to 4 months of use it started gaining back that heavier smell I loved. So if you like this perfume but you’re having doubts regarding that, go buy a bottle and enjoy the beautiful evolution of this smell - I promise it gets better with each use

Now this is light (not fresh) orris/nutmeg/ambary-vanillesque blend with the characteristal narcissus touch of the line. Longevity is good, sillage decent. 100% Femenine, for a night business or date (or both?) dinner. Skinny girl long hair nor blonde classy and sexy and with a pretty small handbag wearing a tight tulip dress and a big, but concealable smile; "2000's intelligence service" kind of woman. Worst of the line, if they had bottled this juice correctly, maybe a masterpiece; good point? it's not childish. Not buying this. Extreme still n|1

This one's a really attention grabbing 2025 release. The opening is louder compared to the OG and Extreme versions. Its so well blended and after the drydown , approximately 6-7 hrs ( yes,it has a beast-mode performance) after applying on my skin, it becomes a delicious skin scent that every person around me described differently but is still noticable. Got really surprised by how long it lasts on and off the skin. If you spray it on clothes its still noticable after washing them. Warm and inviting scent, but not a safe blind buy i'd say. Overall a sexy and cozy fall/winter fragrance with a true gentleman identity that i will always keep in my collection.

I don't know what to think: I tried this in a store and was absolutely blown away. I ordered a Givenchy factory 10ml travel spray which arrived today and it is completely underwhelming. The one in the store was dense, sweet, and rich. The travel spray smells much fresher and aromatic more than the rich sumptuous juice I tried in store. Very strange.

Heavy, intense, masculine and yet it's gentle and opulent. Well rounded and rich but it's not for a juvenile boy. You need to be a man to wear it, it's not similar to any JPG or Rabanne. No youthful sweetness here but if you're dressed up and manly then it's definitely a good pick for you.

For a fragrance which can be found for 60eur on discounters for a full 100ml, you cannot go wrong. This is the scent of a gentleman. So warm and sophisticated, so addictive and refined. As an iris and syrupy sweet hater, I love this

Oppulent, seductive, masculine and niche smelling. Another blind buy success for me. This is unlike anything I've ever smelt in the designer realm. Givenchy doesn't disappoint. Strictly night time wear and cooler weather for this frag to truly shine.

First impressions: Middle upper management, a cigar enthusiast brushing up against his wife, a man in a black shirt and black cargo pants with his arms crossed, Johnny Depp. The initial blast of fruity Tobacco is a bit sickening, but that passes quickly, giving way to a cooler vetiver, vanilla, and orris narcotic. I’ll be honest: I’m not a professional so I can’t pick out the rest of the notes. On my skin it smells a bit like a sleazy perfume, although it doesn’t smell bargain bin. Projection isn’t very strong on my skin; it retreats back after a couple hours. Overall I give it a 6/10. Not my style but I could see the appeal for some people.

This is a tough one to rate. On one hand, I like the actual scent of this fragrance. On the other, it is way too strong and makes me extremely nauseous. If they toned this down, I would happily wear it. But in it's current state, it is unbearable.

first impressions it was amazing good for special occasions and masculine then there is this piercing smell i dont really know how to describe it which i think is the orris, narcissus and peru balsam combo combined with that heavy tobacco that makes this not for everyone and btw im not saying tobacco is bad just too nauseous for me

Just have a sample of this. I am enjoying the wearing experience on a raining summers day. It just smells clean and like a high end soap. Not picking out the various notes, just know it smells good and will garner compliments

I'm a woman in her 30s. Omg this is a MAN!!! A BOSS. A gentle giant. Today I smelled 6 masculine scents and this is the only one that got me from the first sniff! Sweet, bold, gentle, smooth, masculine, clean, polished, kind, excellent manners, successful, sensual,....and it doesn't remind me of anything! That's the one! 10000/10🥰🔥 Update: On my father's skin Mom: 8/10, Dad: 9/10. Personal note and preference: 3:1 the OG:this one. 1000000/10! 😆🥰😍

The top notes are brilliantly uplifting if vaguely generic. The Peru balsam in the base leaves me less enthusiastic, which is a pity since this is a high quality designer fragrance.

Woody vanilla on clothes, Smells like piss on skin.

Warm spiciness and some smoke (which is not present in original) made the composition likable to me.

I don't have my own bottle, but I've sampled this a handful of times at various stores in my travels over the past year. This is so effing good. I love tobacco-based fragrances and this one is super. This is in the neighborhood of Naxos, Pure Havanne and Insurrection 2 Wild. It's not as sweet as those...it's woody; this one leans towards a tobacco/vanilla/orris mix. Performance is well above average. Definitely belongs in the Society line and is an absolute stunner in my book. Tobacco fans will love this. The hate in the comments are mainly people where this fragrance is just not their type. They don't get it. As for me, I have to get me a full bottle of this.

First spray is incredibly repulsing to my nose, not sure wether my brain repressed a severely traumatic memory associated with this smell or what, but the dusty smell of old wood (in a bad way) blending in with the smell of a cigarette-smoke-absorbed 50yo film jacket thats decomposing on itself - makes me think of a creepy old man, or an abandoned theater/opera. Seemingly a very polarizing scent, lotta different takes im seeing scrolling down here. In the air, once you get to the dry down, some remotely nice sweetness tries its best to push through, but its not enough. Ive only had this thing for maybe two hours on, though, after fighting the urge to rub it off my forearm. Wouldn't describe it as synthetic or cheap either tho, so theres that. UPDATE: smell has grown on me a little, though i much, much prefer society edp to this flanker, that one i actually bought, and enjoy very much, it's basically a sweeter, way less old-r8pist smelling version of this.

Maybe I'm not the best cologne connoisseur, but holy shit this is awful. Smells funky, repulsive, just awful. If you want to smell like an egyptian sarcophagus who just opened since the fall of the roman empire, then I guess this is for you.

Woodiness glazed with a honey narcissus syrup 🍯🥵. Good quality, deep sandalwood backed by a resin and iris, very warm on skin. One of the smoothest blends.

Oh waaw. Waaaw! Ok... I just received 100ml of this. I am... impressed. I miss Givenchy Play and other goodies that were discontinued, for pure nostalgia. The green triangular one... anyway, 1st spray is a wow. I will be back in few days and write my thoughts. Edit: I've been wearing this for the past days and... it's a tenner! A 10/10 for Givenchy and I am happy that they're BACK! This is for men, above 25yrs old... who are over the "ya'll should fear my stench, beast-mode activated" phase. This is for more subdued and sophisticated actions and situations... imagine a very tamed JPG Elixir, less screechy, rounded... It's very nice and reminds me soumhow of all the other Givenchy frags of the past, Play, Very Irresistible all... so it has the Givenchy signature. A 9/10 I wish it would project more, no, overspraying doesn't improve the prohection on this one.
