this one is just so cute and happy, it reminds me of a bright sunny fall day in the 2000s. it’s not very floral, the top notes combined with vanilla give it a candy/caramel feel that even non gourmand lovers can appreciate. it has a really cool element, something that gives it a perfumey quality that usually vintage perfumes have, it might be the boozy note, that thank god is not the nasty hard liquor some have, its perfect to cut through the opening and prevent it from becoming sickly sweet. i got it as a gift from someone and i didnt expect to like it really but its overall such a mood lifter on colder days i keep finding myself adding it back to my rotation. also the bottle color fits the juice perfectly. 🧡🍁

blind bought this and, despite me not being a powdery scent fan, I am in love with this. iinoffensive and very elegant! good for any occasion. plus, i was able to get this with the beautiful fishnet design on the bottle, so yay!

Guess By Marciano is...bland and evaporates into a skin scent within an hour. I sense vanilla, star fruit, cardamom- after the first alcoholic spray has settled- then later some woody note in the drydown, coupled with a rather annoying 'clean laundry' note- which must be the synthetic white musk. Now if you love white musk, that's fine. But for some, like myself, it triggers tension headaches.... Overall, an easy, wearable, but largely unremarkable body spray type perfume, which sits close to the skin and offers little silage/ projection. Not bad, simply worth no more than the €20 price tag. You get what you pay for.

Easy reach for every day, soft, versatile, and unique. Summer heat brings out the vanilla. My nose reads pineapple, vanilla, amber, and musk. It’s beautiful and I love it!

The cardamom note is beautiful with the vanilla and the slight musky note at the end makes her sexy with an innocent pout. Perfect for a fall night

I truly love this vanilla. Maybe it's the cardamom, because I really detect it and I LOVE cardamom in my vanillas. When I smell this I always think of angels and ethereal worlds. The perfume of heavens

Blue jolly rancher opening, and then dries down into a powdery vanilla smell reminiscent of a cabbage patch kid. Not obsessed but very fun

got this as a hand me down from my cousin, who got it from our auntie, so it’s been passed around the family for a minute. not my usual scent pick if i’m going out, but for me this is good spray and go. no complaints. it’s a very inoffensive, easy blind buy that will still surely give compliments. wear it at the office, wear it at the club. great all rounder. powdery citrus-white floral with a really cozy warm vanilla musk, deepened by that wood and the balsamic-y of quality from the cardamom. v nice (: ! reading the reviews i’m seeing it’s more on the affordable side, so this is a great affordable scent that kinda gives high end. <3

The opening on this is delicious! It’s familiar but unique. The first time I smelled it, I literally said “huh?! wow!” I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. It’s soft , pretty, and cozy, but also exotic, sweet and spicy! It like Cashmere Mist and Loves Baby Soft (bad example) had a baby, and that baby grew up and had an exotic lover and they had a baby. You literally get every flavor receptor activated when you smell this! It’s really that good!

Heard a lot of good things about it so when I had a chance to get a sample I took it. This is pleasant, not off-putting by any means. But it's not something I'm head over heels for. I expected it to be sweeter than it is. I don't know what throws me off, maybe it's Curacao or Carambola, who even knows...It reminds me exactly of those days, simpler 2007 days. Not sure how to explain it. It's the scent of those days. Maybe back then I would've appreciated it more but now it's just not for me.

This perfume smells like what baby powder would smell like in a liquid form. It consistently smells good from the first spray to several hours later. Very safe for a blind buy if you don't like synthetic smelling or cheap and strong smelling perfumes. Smells very mild, very subtle and absolutey like any baby powder would smell like. For reference...I love the smell of Dove soap on my skin and use Johnson baby oil as well on my skin coz I love that mild beautiful smell (even that gorgeous smell in creams like Nivea)....so this is along those lines of smells to my nose.

Expensive perfumes hate how well this cheap one performs on so many levels. Bought a backup. :D

This! When I smell the spray I think of a high end perfume store. On me, it smells sexy, not overly sweet, and it lasts.. . It is calming, soothing, suitable for any temperature. Makes me feel special. I have super expensive perfumes that are so average, this one is just amazing. Buy it!

Such a hidden gem. I don’t really get the citrusy-fruity-tropical notes that are often mentioned. On my skin, it comes across as a warm, spicy vanilla with a cinnamon-like kick... almost like Wrigley’s Big Red gum! That spiciness blends beautifully into a powdery vanilla base that feels cozy, feminine, and addictive. It’s versatile enough for day or night, and I’ve gotten compliments on it more than once. It’s not the loudest fragrance in my collection, but it has a warmth that radiates within arm’s length. Longevity is about 3 hours on me, so I reapply as needed. Overall, I'd say it's feminine, slightly exotic, and different from your average vanilla or fruity-floral fragrance. It feels beautiful without trying too hard... a powdery vanilla-spice hug with just enough edge to stand out. Definitely worth having in my rotation!

I have a vintage sample vial of Guess by Georges Marciano. I notice the woods and powdery musk. Under that is a tiny bit of florals and even less fruit. It reminds me of Passion.

Smells sweet and woody to keep it short, but tbh it smells...like a "typical" perfume. Not a bad thing...it's priced reasonably tbh...not into woody vibes like that but it's nice I can't hate on it. I struggle thinking where this would be good...maybe going to the mall to buy clothes...visiting relatives for some random day..it's a little strong for the office but can get away with it...but..why??

this was a blind buy off of scent outlet and I honestly didn’t know what to expect but i’d say the reviews are pretty accurate. The opening was a bit appalling for me, very strong and sharp with that alcohol-y almost nauseating so you can’t really get the depth. Initially just smelt like a very cheap chypre perfume but I guess I had to let it sit for a bit and give it a few tries. The curaçao and star fruit are quite prominent in the beginning. Personally didn’t get much of the cardamom. The dry down is actually very lovely, I see why people are upset that it’s not as tropical as they expected it to be. The dry down is a very musky, powdery vanilla. It’s not necessarily mature but I get the vibe that it’s a very skin like scent that does have a sillage. For some reason the dry down is sooo very reminiscent of the dove body wash specifically the velvet glow one. For me this isn’t a problem cause I quite enjoy the smell, the scent lasts me a very long time on clothes but goes away pretty fast on skin. Overall, lovely perfume but I’m not sure if it’s anything special just yet. I have a feeling I’ve got to let this one macerate for a while and it might get even better over time

I am pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of this discounted fragrance. Fruity, like an overly ripe starfruit and sweet powdery icing sugar in vanilla frosting, along with some white woods to anchor it. Very delicious, lasts a long time on clothes, not so much on skin, but for $21.99 cdn in March 2025, I am well pleased. It has an old fashioned "-perfumy - ness" to it that I find so pleasing. My favourite Guess so far, I have all the Seductive line and Gold. This one is the star.

This was a blind buy that I hovered over and debated with myself whenever it would show up on the clearance shelf. Ive worn it on & off for a few weeks now. In the first few minutes, this is fresh & slightly spicy. In 30 minutes, the vanilla & cardamom become reminiscent of creme brulee for me. After the first hour, it is a soft, powdery vanilla amber dry down on my skin. I've also discovered that when choosing whether to wear this, I can't base my decision on the smell of the sprayer because it is sour compared to the actual juice. I have to spray & waft my hand in the mist to get the true scent. I love how the floral, spice & musk notes prevent this fragrance from being too gourmand or sweet. It feels feminine & demure.

This is definitely a hidden gem! I had this about 10 years ago and I do remember liking it but I hadn’t smelled it since that time. I purchased this last week and immediately fell in love. This could be my signature scent, because I feel this could be worn year round. To me, it feels like a warm, ambery floral with a little fruitiness as well. Slightly tropical but not so much that you couldn’t wear it year round. It’s a warm, sexy scent, but it is also comforting and cozy to me. I have 80 bottles of perfume in my collection, a mixture of niche and designer. Some cost in the $200-300 range, and I like this one just as well as any of them, maybe more. I paid $24 on Amazon. Needless to say, I bought 2 backup bottles!

I just purchased this and although there's something that I really like about it...unfortunately I think that the musk is giving me a headache. I remember when this came out I loved it and thought as soon as I finish my bottle of magnetism I will purchase a bottle. They give me similar vibes. Sexy tropical night out vibes. It's a shame cause it smells great and I want to keep this, but it's too headache inducing for me. Edit: it's the following day and the weather is a bit cooler. I think it can be worn on summer nights because of the tropical vibe , but it seems to shine in cooler weather. I'm also testing it on clothes today and I'm smelling the similarity to fantasy. This is like a mix between fantasy and illicit. Kind of like a sexy citrusy version of fantasy or like if Victoria secret came out with their version of fantasy. I get a lot of warm vanilla and almost caramel in the deep dry down on skin. I think I'm going to keep it and test it some more cause there is just something that I really like about it.

"Mrs. Clause" *ahem*, brought me this for Christmas. It was supposed to be in my stocking, but I wanted to wear it this Eve. I had a strong feeling I would love this while reading reviews, and I was dead-on. It's a light cardamom (I'm a ho ho ho for cardamom) with a base of vanilla that somehow manages to be substantial, but not thick. The opening though...smells like one of my favorites EVER - Sensual Amber from B&BW...which I haven't read anywhere and no expectation of. To say that this is a gift, is an understatement. The caramelly vanilla along with the fruit is highly similar, yet...this lacks that neo-amber drydown and remains more florally and woody. Sensual Amber smells like the better version of Flowerbomb to me, with it's own unique facets. But, Guess doesn't smell like Flowerbomb. So, Sensual Amber is a sort of bridge fragrance between the two. Hope that makes sense. The woods+florals+vanilla here has a certain 80s-90s vibe about it, I think it's a GenX sort of style (I love and appreciate all generational themes, and own a pretty broad array). My one and only concern is that I think acidic fruits (which this is, it doesn't have any jammy-ness) coupling with vanilla *can* turn gross in the heat. This is STUNNING in the cold air outside right now. But, I worry that it would smell sour in heat. I'm not sure, and unless I steam up my bathroom and try it there's no way to know for sure yet. Also, this isn't super dense, so it's not quite beastly enough for super cold air (it's not freezing in the PNW tonight). Specifically, this smells of November, but it is perfect indoors. Aside from the seasonal specifications I'm noticing, this is really gorgeous. Something about it is a little...raunchy, or, sl*tty (in the BEST way though). It's fresh, but warm, and evocative of the 90s in a way that causes my nostalgic heart to ache. It smells exactly like the color of the bottle, and I'm always so thrilled when I find perfumes that do. 🧡🤎🍂

This is a very good everyday scent, it’s very soft, the best description I have for this is; Sweet boozy tea with lots of honey and white flowers. The jasmine is very predominant. If you want an everyday scent that is people pleasing, soft for office or casual, this is for you. Longevity and sillage are great too.

I bought this along with several other Guess perfumes while I was trying to find the scent that my college roommate and I wore back in the '80s. This isn't it, but I like it a lot. At first it smelled like a powdery chemical but after wearing it for a week I get a warm, spicy, woody scent. I can smell the vanilla, but no fruit, tropical, or curaçao. This is a perfect scent to wear on a bright autumn day in a warm sweater.

A unique vanilla scent, that is sexy and elegant at the same time. Maceration improves the performance and makes it more balanced.

I got this in the mail today. I tested it, and…this was not the vanilla, fruity, cardamom, booziness I was hoping for. Does it just need some time? Like, a lot of time? Mandie731, I agree with you - all I’m getting right now is a weak powdery smell. It reminds me of the dry powder scent in l’esprit D’Oscar. Not a scent profile that appeals to me. I’m reeeeally hoping this just needs some time to develop. I can at least say the dry down that I’m smelling on my wrist is ok. Maybe there’s hope.

All I am picking up is a faint baby-powder type of scent. I can't get any of the citrus or floral notes. No longevity and sillage is crap. Weird. Not sure why I am not getting what everyone else is getting.
