Other reviewers are saying this smells like bois impérial. I own both and that's one of the most inaccurate comparison I've read on this site. It's not a coincidence both perfumes don't share notes.
Opens up smelling extremely familiar. Realized it was reminding me of bois imperial but very sharp and aggressive. After about 10 mins begins to calm down but doesn’t improve. A dusty spicy dirty leather emerges. Smells like you sprayed bois imperial on a leather jacket and left it in a dusty humid attic for years. 5/10
8.5/10 This fragrance is beautiful. Yes, it is incense-forward and deeply resinous, with a pop of pink pepper that gives the opening a sharp, sparkling bite. But there is an unexpected airiness beneath it all. I would not call it "dark," despite what the note breakdown might suggest. To my nose, there is a subtle floral whisper, almost like a soft rose, even though it is not listed. It adds a delicate contrast that keeps the composition from feeling heavy or brooding. Because it is so well blended and complex, it is hard to pin down. While many incense-heavy scents veer into smoky territory (which I usually dislike), this one turns slightly away from that. It is sharp, yes, but also pretty. Refined and soft, yet tough and rugged at the same time. It is not a crowd-pleaser in the mainstream sense. It is mature, sophisticated, and demands a certain taste. If that sounds like you, it is absolutely worth sampling.
The initial opening is way too strong, but it only lasts a couple of minutes. The real opening is incense with a pepper background, which eventually settles into a woody incense with leather in the background. Great scent for winter and fall evenings, with pretty good longevity.
How does this remind so many of Ganymede and bois imperiale. I have all 3 and Anonimo smells absolutely nothing like the other 2
Woah I got this in Madrid in the winter and it was the perfect vibe for late glasses of wine in cold weather. This dials way up on the incense and smoke to start and has a nice sandalwood and leather base, and it stays on skin and projects well for hours, even after washing clothes I can still catch whiffs. Feels premium, niche, mysterious, and is a great winter night fragrance, just make sure not to over spray.
I've had this for a while, and at first sniff after buying, I thought the opening was WAY too harsh. Surprisingly, I gave it another go a few years later (it's been a while!) and this is a very sophisticated and warm scent once you get past the opening. It mellows out so nicely, and is very masculine! I don't get the powdery notes many people are saying... if anything it seems like a very strong pepper and vetiver right off the bat, then mellows out with the incense and benzoin.
I’m a woman, and to me this one is unisex at best. It’s too powdery to be a men’s exclusive, which I’m not saying in a negative way. Still, the notes are as listed so overall when combined it ends up a round, woody scent that lacks personality. Don’t get me wrong, it’s pleasant. It’s just not wow or unique in any way. It doesn’t last long, and when sprayed too much at once, it makes you smell like you’re bathed in powder instead of incense smoke. Pepper is faint here. If pepper was stronger, it could’ve ended up with more edge. It reminds me of Tam Dao but without the sweetness of fig.
I honestly don't understand why I can't find any review mentioning sea notes, ambergris, salt in this frag. It is literally all the notes I'm avoiding - I see them on the fragrantica pyramid - I close the tab, I never think about it, I ignore it in store. I asked my bf to buy me this frag in his work trip, and when we tried this at home - I got nauseous. Good that he likes it in the end. Now he wears Anonimo to work and I'm airing out the room each morning after he left. Why I asked for it? I had 10 leathery samples from different brands and somehow I thought this one was among scents that I liked, I checked prices and it was the only one for fair money per 100ml, and definitely it lasted for long. I check that sample now and it smells how I smell the full bottle - leather + ambergris, or something supermarket- cheap- men- showergel- strong- seabreeze smell. I don't get ANY sweetness in it. I would say it has minus sweetness vibes. Very sharp. Maybe it's only my nose, maybe it is something about batch. As well as I don't sniff any incense - and I have literally boxes of Indian incense at home, incense from Mount Athos, had 90% of cdg frags, in love with everything churchey - labdanum, myrrh, frankincense - and I smell nothing of that sort in it.
To me (clearly), this is one of the best fragrances out there today. It's different, perfectly balanced, not too loud, and yet mysterious and complex. This could easily be a winter signature scent. The performance is great, lasting 7-8 hours on me, and for two days on clothes.
I have a decant of this which was tucked away for yonks because I thought it was too strong. Couple of years later safe to say I graduated my amateur nose and holy smokes it does smell like Jubilation XXV! The incense hits you right away in the opening but the benzoin to me is also prominent at the start. Just in a solid dense gooey state, its clearly the core of this perfume. The type of incense is the same as 7/Cobalt, it has that similar heft like ADG - almost balsamic. Then it slowly melts and bloom to become a airier. It takes a long time for this mix to thin down then only the benzoin starts to sweeten. The incense then passes the baton to vetiver (I get very little leather, maybe due to maceration). You start smelling the labdanum and the sandalwood much later maybe 3 hours with the benzoin having condensated to a cloud. It's extremely smooth and pleasant at this point, sophisticatedly sexy I love it. Arms length projection, lasts a long time but as a skin scent. Applied it before going out for dinner and could still smell it when I woke up the day after. Strictly dark cold weather only, max I'd go is a cloudy spring day. 30yo and above, this wouldn't fit a youngster the same way a Patek wouldn't. It's goooooey, rich and gothic. Beautiful physics in perfumery. To me Loewe is another brand like Guerlain; they approach perfumery like a niche house. I would just get this instead if I wanted Jubilation's profile and save the dolla dolla bill y'all.
This is my favourite Loewe. Picture this; for a leather-incense-amber scent it's actually pretty clean. I'm really into this. This is to Loewe 7 Cobalt what Brioni Suave is to the EDP. Sadly it lasts all but 5 minutes.

This is a subtle, more elegant take on an incense/leather fragrance. In fact, I'm not sure I can even pick up leather in this. For me, it has an opening of smokeless incense with a slight licorice impression. The dry down is more akin to black tea and dried fruit. The longevity is a solid 5-6 hours but the sillage is fairly poor. This is probably best as an every day cool weather fragrance.
I hace old bottle 3.4 oz $ 100 old batch Phone. 281 622 1118
I just dont like this perfume, not my cup of tea. If you like encens, CDG avignon is better
This is like 90% Samharam mixed with a bit of Bottega Veneta Pour Homme--a balsamic mixture of incense, resins, and pine.
Not entirely sure how every dude reviewing this is throwing every adjective for “manly” around for Anonimo. I find this perfume very unisex. It’s definitely up there with some of my favorite leather scents and thats also because it isn’t so obviously a leather fragrance. It’s present, but it doesn’t scream it. This has no ginger 🫚 listed in the notes, but I definitely pick up the same vibes as Five O’Clock Au Gingembre from Serge Lutens here except it’s not as loud. Being an airier Lutens-like is actually a good thing for this fragrance because it’s so well blended and smooth while also maintaining a mysterious yet gorgeous presence. This gave a visceral reaction to it, much like my top perfumes in my collection, so this will definitely be part of it soon. Other sites have stated that Quentin Bisch is partly responsible for this one, but since it’s not on fragrantica itself, I suppose this will need some fact checking. Anywho, one of the best fragrances I’ve run into in the last few months. Get your nose on this asap
This is sooooooo good man I would have this rest of my life for sure until i die Man its soooo masculine, it's soo manly tipe fragrance I love it man But you have to buy a sample first don't blind buy it
Blended to perfection. Niche quality with a designer label. All of the notes compliment each other so well. Someone said this is how batman would smell - I agree. A dark, smooth, clean scent. This was a blind buy and I do not regret it at all.
Review below fits exactly my impression too. Worth to point out, apart from the expected smoky-spicy amberiness, is that it has something fresh-fruity about it. It is most noticeable in the beginning. A hint of fruity-smoky tea, something like this. Makes it more appealing. For being an incense, it’s very pleasant. Not at all overwhelming. I usually don’t like incense, or smoky notes, but this is really fine, far from any bonfires, or churches. Modern, fresh incense. Overall, these ratings are far too high. I strongly believe it has been reformulated with negative results, not affecting the quality of the composition per se, but its performance. Impression of quality, in terms of material and longevity, is not great. It’s moderate at best. It is somewhat mass-appealing (for being an incense-ambery scent), but I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece. It’s more of a very talented- and ambitious contribution by a relatively young perfumer, Quentin Bisch. From my point of view, becoming known for pioneering the hybrid genre ’designer-niche’. Anyhow, if you do like the idea of a modern incense, which is both subtly fresh-fruity, subtly sweet and ambery, I would surely recommend sampling this. In the end, it’s talented, and very good work.
One of the best fragrances released by Loewe. A magnificent perfume, with a woody-oriental shade. The aroma of incense, benzoin, leather, pink pepper, slightly sweet, spicy, balsamic and resinous. Fresh and slightly fruity incense, leather with a sweet resinous shade, and dry, woody vetiver. A very pleasant, light, smoky-leather-balsamic aroma, elegant and warm. Something in between luxury and niche, high-quality, restrained sound. Minimal sweetness. In my opinion, unisex, perhaps suitable for ladies who like leather and incense. Decent durability and restrained, correct trail. This review is about the fragrance, an old batch, in a black cylindrical bottle, before the redesign, 77% alcohol content. In the new bottles, in the form of coffins, the aroma and durability have been changed, according to users, for the worse.
I was able to get an older pre-reformulation black bottle while in Spain so this reflects that: Strong slightly sweet coke/root beer adjacent incense smell. This almost leans into a flat coke type of scent, but something about it makes it bracing and slightly sparkling/effervescent. Very reminiscent of some salty/mineral scents in that sense (ex: jorum highland rose, .oddity resonant, etc. ). Definitely try before you buy though, especially if the new version being weak thing is true.
I have the old black bottle it longevity is pretty good but the projection is average or weaker at best it is just not a strong scent on my skin... Anyone who has the new bottle design how it performs i heard they are even weaker. I have the new bottle with esencia edp and the performance is criminally shit.
There is something musty and funky in this incense note. Can't put my finger on it, but I feel this is off-putting in a way other Loewe fragrances aren't. I love the house though.
Rating: 🧤 🛖 🧱 Do I like it: So-so, I like animalics but it gets a bit heavy over time Who it is: A beekeeper that lives in an old musty shack Smells I get: spice, castoreum, resins, balsam, musty hut vibe, beeswax Meyer's Briggs type: ISTP, ISFP How interesting. Open aquatic and spicy, but very quickly settles into a very animalic, castoreum-like mild spice with resin in the back. It's suprisingly mild, and pretty wearable in heat for this sort of a scent profile. Very smoothly blended, quite pleasant. Reminds me a lot of YSL Kuoros if it were mixed with Bentley White Musk. If the powdery aspect were to be much toned down and redirected into a breathable, very balsamy resin. Sligtly medicinal, but not overly strong. I get zero leather (which iI'm happy with), a bit of incense if i zone in on it. Dries down to something like a musty attic, so there is a sligtly woody vibe going on. This would probably layer well with something sweet. Definitely a love/hate type of perfume, but it's mostly a pretty nice introductory balsamic animalic.
Big difference between Anonimo EDP offering and the Loewe 7 EDT. You may think, and rightly so, that this would be a similar yet stronger version of the EDT version. Unfortunately, that's not really the case. The fragrance profile is a lot different than the original. This is still worth trying! It is enjoyable, masculine and spicy. I find it less incense heavy and reminds me more of fragrances like PDM Haltane. Fall/Winter. Apply Generously 5+ sprays
This is a reference incense. Yes, it is not Avignon, it is not Misiones by Fueguia either. This is ambery, not musky, this is more "private" and more subdued. not at all sweet, but warmer than the 2 mentioned before. This is what incense can be, minimalist, medicinal, and captivating. Exquisitely blended. Much better than the regular 7 release. If you are into incense, fantastic, and safe blind buy.
Opens interesting. Dark, spicy, and a little smoky but not as much as I hoped for. Unfortunately in the base theres a weird BO note that overpowers and just makes it smell like you need a shower.
This stuff is total magic. Massive compliment puller. Smells unique. Really manly. Honestly, if you’re looking for a perfect signature scent, this is it.
