Hibiscus Mahajád

One of the strongest fragrances I own and an absolute compliment magnet. The hibiscus is the star here. Sweet, fruity and slightly tart, with the rose and vanilla in the background making it richer and creamier. Smells incredible in the air. For me it’s completely unisex, you just need the confidence to pull it off. Performance is absolutely ridiculous. Nuclear projection, lasts forever and sticks to clothes for ages. Spray with caution, 3 sprays is plenty, anything more is basically chemical warfare

This opens with hibiscus, rose, and a sweet vanilla base, though mint becomes much more noticeable on the drydown. It's sold as unisex, but to me it leans distinctly feminine. Performance is insane, with eternal longevity and projection on my skin. Made for daily wear, working as a great signature scent for a young woman under fifty. Overall, an excellent 9/10 fragrance.

this is surprisingly very generic to me? smells like every other designer fragrance i’ve smelled (and i don’t like most designer fragrances). it specifically reminds me of lancôme la vie est belle which grosses me out. it is beast mode so that’s a plus if you like this! 2/10

Woweeee! This is like a turbo-charged Delina Exclusif. I always avoided this because smelling the bottle top I didn't like it, but on skin, heavenly. Gorgeous. Stunning. Feminine. Romantic. This is the colour of a tropical sunset. I tested a lot of fragrances on the same day as this, and every single one was entirely drowned out by just this one spray on my hand, which scares me... I want my scent to feel like a soft bubble, not an armed tank... Maybe this is one where you have to spray the air and then walk into it rather than direct spritzing?? Maybe I need a small decant to figure out whether I can handle this (as well as the people around me). The friend I was with said, "I'm not offended by it, but I don't like anything about it. I wouldn't take a bottle even if they gave it to me for free". HOW anyone can say this I really don't know, because to me this is just so undeniably beautiful. But just goes to show, not a safe blind buy!

This is my very first review, and I just came to say that this is absolutely addictive to me. I get why some people don't like it, it's definitely not a blind buy. Unfortunately the price point is way too high for me, but I got a decant of 5ml and I think it will take a while to use it up, as I only need like 3 sprays and I have been using it only on special occasions 🌺 I definitely wouldn't go for a full bottle because it would take a lifetime to finish it. 😅 To make a long story short: it's amazing, but definitely try it before you buy it.

I LOVE this beauty. Yes, it is beast mode and can be overwhelming in the opening, but the dry down is sublime on my skin and as the hours tick away, it just gets better and better. What i also appreciate is that you don't have to overspray, because at this price point, no one would want to, to be honest. When you buy niche or expensive designer perfumes, it is always best to find samples first and try it on your own skin. Wear it the whole day and evaluate how it moves through its notes with your skin chemistry, before you commit to buying.

I got a 10 ML decant, and am trying to decide whether I want to pull the trigger on a full bottle. Definitley beast mode and nuclear projection. I like it after is settle downs a bit. But I get gasoline immediately. Am I alone here?

Just try it on out of a store!! This is an overhyped and inflated ladies skin care scented products! At this point, the eternal staying power is just an aromachemical torture!

Hibiscus, Rose, Ambrette and Cinnamon, it is lovely. The brand does not miss on the quality, it seems they only can do high quality, but the prices in mind I guess it is only fair. But this one is too feminine for me.

First of all, the only reason this is so popular is because it caters to most people's obsession with longevity. Hibiscus Mahajad is by all accounts a beast mode perfume. I love the juicy rose from the opening. It sometimes reminds me of the rose found in Delina but also Oud Satin Mood Extrait (I believe it's damask rose). The base notes take over the juicy opening very quickly. The rose loses its juiciness and becomes very dry but still sweet. I personally can't really detect individual notes in the drydown, I just know it has a lot of staying power and the sweetness from the florals (rose and hibiscus) are very much there. I guess the leather plays a part in it but more in the texture rather than the smell. This is the most subjective part of my review but if I were to sum it up, I would say this opens smelling like Delina, then dries down to Guidance (which I have yet to fully test so I could be wrong on this part). In any case, the opening is my favorite part.

I don't understand the hype behind it, nor the 'nuclear' projection everyone is raving for. Quentin Bisch one of my favorite perfumers, that's why I decided to give it a try and I am not a rose fan at all. It's a border-line 'mature' rose perfume, yes I get the exotic touch of hibiscus that makes it almost 'eatable', not exactly jammy rose, I get the peppermint, the cassis, the leather, the ambrette of course in the dry down, except from the cinammon. It's a very well blended perfume that looks like something new to the table, but somewhere in the middle I feel like it's done before. When you catch it in the air, it's a total bliss. Everyone can admit this no matter his/her perfume taste. For it's price, thank God it's a pass for me and I would personally suggest to those of you that are waering extraits de parfums to wear no more than 2 sprays in order to be able to enjoy and detect their complexity, even their from top to base notes life. I've never smelled delina but I can detect a touch of Very Good Girl-Caroline Herrera as the perfumer is the same. Once again, the complexity of Hibiscus Majahad is amazing. Whispers of it's notes are compliment the leathery/rose/fresh but kind of spicy heart. Unisex, great longevity, very good sillage if you use it outdoors, versatile but slightly boring.

The first time I smelt this fragrance, I was mind blown, and since that moment I had always wanted to get a bottle. Almost a year later, I introduced my dad to this fragrance, and he also fell in love with it. We both think it’s super wearable for guys (extremely unisex imo) but we also do enjoy floral scents (his signature scent is Gris Dior). We both picked up a 50ml, despite the hefty price tag. It starts off quite fresh and floral, I kind of pick up a juicy lychee note, although it’s not listed, similar to the opening of PDM Delina. As it dries down, it becomes a lot more sweeter, and after a good few hours, a beautiful high quality vanilla scent lingers. On clothes, I swear this vanilla scent will NOT leave. I wore this on a knitted t shirt two weeks ago, two sprays on the chest, and that vanilla is still pumping… and has also left yellow stains 😅 be aware of that on very light coloured clothes. I recommend sampling, and if you really do love it and have the money, get the 50ml, you only need 2-3 sprays per wear cos this shit is nuclear and lasts the whole day. No joke, I sprayed it twice on my neck, left it for 30min, walked into my living room, which is quite spacey, and my mum could smell it straight away. As you can tell, I’m obsessed with this fragrance. Definitely a favourite of mine. By the way, if you don’t want to pay the 200ish price for 50ml, the best dupe I have smelt SO FAR, is Jaipur by Noted Aromas. Although being a super solid inspiration, it doesn’t truly do the original justice. I haven’t smelt it, but I have heard better things about Paris Corner Ibisco Nirvana

Wow what a surprise this was. I was expecting a heavy hitter, but this fragrance is so airy. I smell slightly minty rose with cinnamon! this must be the hibiscus 🌺 accord, so fresh and cooling, yet it projects a lot! Fantastic choice for summer in my opinion, everyone in my household loves it, it is a big win, so appealing to everyone yet very unique. Vanilla is just ever so slightly gives it depth but it is not cloying. The perfume truly gives an impression of hibiscus tea on a hot summer day. Love ❤️

Amazing scent profile with exceptional performance and projection. To my nose it's a little feminine leaning but definitely unisex and anyan could rock this scent with confidence. Top 10 for me.

I got a sample of HM and wore it to an after work event and got sooo many compliments. as soon as I got home, I bought the full bottle (50ml). but now that I own the bottle I swear the scent doesn't last as much as the juice I got in the sample and that makes me madddd, I could only justify the price tag of this fragrance because everyone kept saying a little goes a long way, but idk... I truly feel like myself wearing this though but it saddens me that the performance is not as strong as a thought it would be. nonetheless it smells delicious

lasts a while, smells fem, floral rose and vanilla. kinda reminds me of a cremier/smoother fashionably london by zara, i do like the smell but i can't imagine a myself wearing this, it gives me the vibe of an extrovert vibrant young woman and it's not the vibe i want to have or how i want to be percieved. if i ever crave tjis dna i'll just get the travel size of fashionably london. overall 9/10 scent and 10/10 perfomance

I swear it lasts up to 36 hours, you can still feel it a bit!

I’ve never in my life smelled something like this before. After smelling so many perfumes, my nose became like Shazam. I was missing that “woah” feeling when smelling something for the first time that felt unique. It works amazing with my skin ph. Update: I’ve got rid of my bottle. The dry down is too “rosey” and I don’t get along with rose at all. I wish the opening stayed longer.

The rose amber is dominant. It leans heavily feminine imo. As the votes show the performance is very strong.

To me this comes off as a somewhat musty rose with some sort of aquatic note (??) that I don't enjoy. Mint does come through a bit but I don't smell any leather or cinnamon. Headache-inducing, don't love.

This scent is a masterpiece but just not one of my favourites. This is a beastmode fragrance so I smell it on myself all day and it drives me nuts. I once wore it to a teacher-parent meeting and 2 weeks later I could still smell it on my jacket.

I was addicted to this even the first time I smelled it in store… but I somehow JUST now got a sample of it. I’m wearing it for the first time ever (I’ve smelled it 5+ times in store) and it’s even better on skin. The hibiscus is floral but not feminine (to my nose). When combined with the rose and the vanilla, it becomes jammy and dense. The peppermint is sweet and sugary (like enclaves peppermint) and the leather acts as a good counterbalance to the sweeter notes. Really well-done perfume. Is it a tad overhyped? Probably… but perfumes are (usually) hyped for a reason. And that reason is because they’re good.

15+ hours on skin no cap

Bit of a letdown for me as I was expecting better especially for the price. On me I get a lot of hibiscus and mint but it’s a bit watery and I don’t get any amber or cinnamon. To my nose it’s almost an aquatic.
