Intense opening reaches Almond from the Tobacco, keeps the nice Tobacco going. Montale openings, to the fullest with it.

This is what you want to buy if you like Blonde Amber but can't stomach that insane price tag. Do not fall for the hype train with the BA clones, get this and thank me later. I have tried a handful of the BA dupes and nearly choked on all of them. Some of them get okay 30+ minutes in, but they all have an awful overly sweet grape opening. The opening of this is overly sweet too, but it settles down quickly into a nice incense scent. Oud Tobacco is absolutely beautiful and is well worth the price of entry, fantastic performance, extremely high quality. Good work, Montale!

I really smell the Blonde Amber DNA. Sweet Amber fragrance but not overly sweet like Blessed Baraka for example which I find nauseating and causes me headache. Excellent longevity and sillage. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 Price: 10/10

A perfect choice for cold weather. It is called Oud Tobacco, but many people might think it would be a very heavy, animalic, and overpowering fragrance. I can say it is strong, but not in a way that disturbs people. The oud is well blended with citrus, tobacco, and tonka, which creates a very tasty and beautiful winter fragrance. Longevity is easily more than 10 hours, and the sillage is really powerful, even after 6–7 hours. Longevity: 8.5/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 Scent: 8/10 Price: 8/10 Total: 8.25/10

Its not that Oud-y actually. Surprisingly I get a Cola note from that Tobacco+Citruses+Orange blossom with leather notes. Due to that, to me, the name is a little misleading. It's good but not really sure when someone would wear this, it is overpoweringly strong, to the point where it definitely isnt safe to wear indoors most of the time, mostly for special events I guess? Definitely sample this before buying if you can.

I'm so glad I bought a sample. This thing is glazed for no reason. Too strong and oudy. Buyer beware. Not blind buy safe at all.

Very interesting scent....this oud is very similar to the oud in gucci intense oud while combined with different complimenting notes of sweetness, I can't to my nose point out any citrus but nonetheless an easy late night and date night fragrance. I would definitely recommend spraying light but montale did a good job 7/10. For my specific taste may be a rare wear but not mad I blind bought 👍

Blonde Amber on budget. Very High Quality

Phenomenal! I have tried quite a few Montale/Mancera frags over the years, and this is definitely my favorite. It share many parallels with Blonde Amber, definitely not as deep or high quality, definitely doesn't develop in the same number of stages, but it does change quite a bit Opens with dried fruits, fresh cut orange, tobacco, and warm spices, as it dries down, the tobacco sticks around, and vanilla shows up, some of the fruits and dried spices fall away. In the final stages, an absolutely sublime incense accord develops with hints of frankincense. If you have ever experienced Satya Nag Champa incense, this smells similar in the mids and dry down. It's absolutely beautiful and took my by surprise, as many Montale and Mancera fragrances are overly synthetic and rather linear. They typically open one way and just drop some notes over time, where as Oud Tobacco develops and changes, and every stage smells great! I didn't detect any Oud, but it's possible it was overshadowed by some of the other bold notes. Performance is outstanding, strong projection in the first 4 hours while slowly developing into a skin scent at 8-10 hours on skin. It obviously lasts much longer on clothing, however, in my experience, fragrances that develop and change tend to get stuck in the opening and mids more than the full development when on clothing compared to skin. Skin chemistry definitely plays a roll in this process as well. This is definitely geared towards the cooler weather, I could see this being worn on early Spring and very late Summer nights in the area I live (North-East USA). I think this is safe for weather under 65°c/19°c. This is unisex, but realistically leans masculine. It's a somewhat mature scent. I could see this being worn by a more serious person in their late 20's but also suited to the 30-50 year old range. It may be a little too masculine smelling for many women's taste. I had a sample of CC Blonde Amber and I also have French Avenue Amber Empire, which a lot of people consider to be the best CCBA clone. This is much MUCH better than Amber Empire and definitely scratched the Blonde Amber itch. Being a Montale, it is definitely recommended to let out a few ml from the bottle and letting the air that replaces it mature the juice inside for 2-4 weeks before it starts to balance out. The scents from this house rarely smell right fresh out of a new bottle. That's really a shame as Montale and Mancera are generally considered niche, but need the same process to balance out as cheap UAE clone frags. Fantastic value proposition, quality and performance are both excellent and I have seen 100ml bottles selling for under $60. 93/100 well done, Pierre!

The first time i sampled it, it reminded me those car air freshners that come in a small can, and as soon as you open them you get a blast of sweet synthetic smell. Think of maybe the cherry ones. Or think of sweet hookah flavor straight from the jar - tobacco leaves with fruityness. It's sweet and cozy but also exciting. I feel like i could wear this anytime, maybe fewer sprays in the summer. I wouldn't wear at work, as it is somewhat playful. It's not very smoky or serious, it's bubblegum-y, but after about 2 hours it settles to an ambery spicy scent.

This is a sweet, upbeat unisex abstract with great performance. I don't necessarily detect the distinct notes (I could if I wanted to, but everything is so synthetic that I would not enjoy the process). Altogether it shouts eccentric, nice and not boring, but it doesn't say anything more to me. I am too deep into scents for this kind of experience (I crave more nuanced impressions and evoked feelings) - yet I appreciate this scent profile for what it does: It certainly shines on an extroverted person in a party.

The opening shot of this was pretty spectacular a few weeks back. It was so strong! I let it sit for 5 weeks and test sprayed on fabric once a week, and it really didn't smell good and thought i'd hate it but wore it on skin the first time yesterday. It worked out way better than expected. I get......sweetly smokey, clean, light, a little spicy and creamy too but not a whole lot of tobacco anywhere, maybe blonde tobacco if anything Opens really sweet then goes slightly smoky floral, aldehydes, mid-notes are creamy spicy with vanilla, lacking depth but keep the attention dry down is the best part...a gorgeous bed of dusky oudy spice offset with a light but deep tobacco with a creamy fireside feel, cozy and comforting, soothing and yet still holding the spicy. longevity really good...all day and most of the night projection above average but not monster, mid range to strong its absolutely a like, but not a love because its a little too light on the basenotes so far. It may gain more depth and fullness as the weeks go by...but so far its really smooth and a decent spicy sweet but not too gourmand, its a serious scent but still has a isochemical feel to it. this may go over time, we'll see. UPDATE....nearly 3 months after the review above......this is now much deeper, smokier, more tobacco basenotes and not as creamy sweet vanilla as it was initially. I like it a lot and its versatile too..i can wear this anytime, anywhere because its not too fierce. The honey is slight and works in the background. Longevity is now really good and projection medium. Just right. Masculine more than feminine i would say. Its a really good scent, i recommended it.

Smells disgusting if this is close to blonde amber I don’t know can someone pay this type of money on this kind of scents perfumes are meant to make us smell good and feel good this make u feel nauseous and give you the worst headache

Was looking forward to sampling this and from just one spray this isn’t for me. No idea what Sumac smells like but I think it’s the orange blossom mixed with the powdery vibe that isn’t pleasant for me. It’s a very smooth fragrance though. I get old lady vibes from this.

Really surprised how good this actually is...got it for £55 for 100ml in a black friday deal and its smells amazing. Very easy to wear....nothing difficult or overpowering. I like Givenchy Ambree, Stronger with you tobacco, Naxos type fragrances and this slots right in the middle...its not the same but takes alittle from from them all. sweet with a faint tobacco and very smooth....I dont get much oud so if you dont like that fragrance, i would not let that stop you trying this...full bottle worthy.

super spectacular projection and long lasting bad boy. Little goes along way so for me couple sprays and last whole day on clothes. Definitely worth getting if you like warm, spicy, woody notes.

i was looking for a scent that smells like old spice oasis. and this + blonde amber come pretty close to that scent profile.

Well I wouldn’t call this oud tobacco as neither of them is the main thing here - I’m one of those who felt its resemblance with Blonde Amber and I think this one is more suitable for daily use, less rich, has a more dynamic spirit, has slightly better performance and sillage than Blonde Amber. I’d use it on a daily basis with 1-2 sprays under the shirt, not sure if I’d use it for nighttime or special occasions as there are much more alternatives that are way better than this

Maybe my favorite Montale? Only one I bought at least. Tobacco and tonka with some oud in the base, leans masculine, not too sweet if sprayed lightly. But there's the rub. The problem is the performance is nuclear. It makes this very hard to use. I do one timid spray on one wrist and then do the silly thing where you rub the wrists together, but that one timid spray is still almost suffocating. I have to be prepared to still smell like OT in the evening. So can't be used on days I do sports for instance, or have something formal, and can't be used on days where I wear a jacket I do not want to get the smell of OT on because the jacket will smell like OT till I die. Would be cloying if sprayed more to be honest. Otherwise wonderful stuff. Opening has a funny sour lemon candy vibe, quite fun.

I used to like mancera more over montale for a presentation and pressurised atomizer and magnetic caps. I had over 6-7 mancera and at the end i didin’t like it all of them i sold them all. So i blind bought montale honey aoud and it was a successful blind buy it was amazing and later i blind bought montale oud tobacco. I was scared of the name (Oud) and (tobacco) but its more beautiful than honey aoud both are amazing and for that reason now i believe montale is better and this oud tobacco is amazing and so strong

Sweeter candied Halfeti / Oud dream (the dirty amber oudy part) with a prominent tobacco note.

Sweet, tobacco , orange floral and a creamy honey note while the amber make is all smooth and ties it all together. While not too prominent I get a little citrus vibe somewhere in here. Feels very nicely blended and has a luxurious and classy feel to it. It has a lighter feel but a deep and rich scent. I only a pick up a tiny amount of oud and incense however this scent is till a beast. I do get the candy vibe people have mentioned. It does Have a synthetic vibe but in a good way so performance is amazing. As it developed on skin I liked it more and more.
