I blind bought this scent for a great deal. Knowing the other Narciso fragrances I expected this to be soft and fresh. Which it isn't. Now let me break this down. If you don't like rose forward fragrances, you will hate this. Many people perceive this kind of rose rather mature and vintage and I agree. It's not a syrupy rose, it's not a bright and fresh rose, it's a more dense and dusty rose. Instantly thought of a 40+ Lady while spraying this on me. Now is this fragrance bad? By no means. It's just not what I and many others expected. The name Musk nude is also Misleading as it's more floral than a soft musk. Narciso Rodrigues is the Musk Lord and this is - at leat to me - put of the ordinary. The projection is OK initially, even arms length. Sillage is beautiful, the trail is perceivable for many when I walked by. I'm a nurse and run through my unit everyday, my patients are my fellow reviewers. The ladies liked this scent a lot aged 35-45. The girls liked it but would not wear it themselves. It's a grown woman scent. It lacks some Brightness. The men and boys partially loved it. Also men 30 upwards. The boys found it smelled like a "mom". Lol. What no one of us smelled was olives that quite a few fellow fragrantians have encountered and I'm glad. Anyway, I see a grown woman in her mid 30s upwards wearing this. Datenight. A curvylicious woman who knows what's up and is aware of her sexuality. This scent will still to your skin the entire day. So great longevity.

I got a whiff of skunk, unfortunately.

Just tried a sample and the first thing I could think was: green olives, which I believe is the rose damask. A few minutes later the green olives smell faded a bit, but it’s still noticeable. And then, I could smell the musk, and the tonka bean very subtle. I’ll try it again edit: it has been 1 hour since I sprayed this on my hand. Now I have a fluffy, powdery and inoffensive scent, perfect to wear to go to bed. No projection at all. My husband said it smells like an old lady. I just wished I could find something similar to the dry down, because the initial notes killed me!

It feels like a fancier chypre-style For Her option. The peppery opening is spicy and the tonka lifts this scent. The flowers are creamy and the rose is fresh and sweet. Musc Nude is a complex profile and it travels from spicy to smooth and powdery to rich and sweet As a gourmand appreciator, this one is a good daily driver in my opinion. I find myself wearing it to sleep, too.

Tested it several times all i get is powder in your face Im trying but no flowers are detectable only powder

On first spray I get rose and musk notes. It dries down to a pleasant clean musk/amber which sits close to the skin. I like this for winter/autumn/spring, I find in summer it's too sweet for me and I want to switch to something more fresh.

Musc Nude opens with a soft wash of white florals and jasmine, lifted gently by a touch of pink pepper. It’s not bright or sharp - the pepper is barely a sparkle, just enough to keep the florals from collapsing into powder. The overall effect is a creamy, skin‑like floral haze, warm rather than radiant. In the heart, the fragrance settles into one of the warmer musks in the Narciso line, sitting just below Musc Noir and Musc Noir Rose (my personal choices from this house). The musk, damask rose, and orange blossom blend into a velvety, intimate glow that feels like warm skin under fabric. The rose is soft and muted, the orange blossom adds a gentle sweetness, and the musk wraps everything in a suede‑petal warmth. This is where Musc Nude becomes unmistakably itself: quiet, tactile, and deeply intimate. The dry down brings in tonka bean, patchouli, and cedarwood, creating a soft, glowing base that feels more like a warm aura than a traditional perfume structure. The tonka adds creaminess, the patchouli gives a subtle shadow (never earthy or heavy), and the cedar keeps everything smooth and clean. The result is a warm, amber‑tonka skin scent with a gentle sweetness and a soft, lingering warmth. It’s not as warm or as satisfying for me as Musc Noir Rose, but it’s undeniably pretty - a soft, intimate Narciso that whispers rather than projects.

I can recognize this as a pretty scent for some but for me it just smells exactly like those rose water Turkish candies. Very rose forward and still an edible scent… I personally find it nauseating. The pepper & musk are sharp but it’s still very sugar forward. Not for me.

This has to be my favorite Narciso Rodriguez!, pure musc is elegant but too bubblegummy on me, whereas this is just perfect. It opens with this musky lipsticky rose and dries down to something woody with an elevated skin like quality. I can imagine wearing this on a casual day

The negative reviews probably come from people who want to smell like cookie dough. This is a gorgeous, elegant perfume and also a real compliment getter

This was nice enough to begin with. Musky and rosey. But the dry down is overly vanillic. It smells almostEXACTLY like alibi eau sensuelle by Oscar delaRenta. I already have that and I never wear it.

I really don’t understand why so many give negative reviews of this!! To me, it is such a beautiful fragrance, soft and skinlike enough to wear every day - both daytime, evening with friends, and to put on before bed. Don’t be afraid to try it! 🥰

I really like this... its so delicate on the skin. The scent is very soft and light. Your skin but better type of perfume. Non offensive, not strong or overpowering... this is perfect for office or people who just want a light perfume. It does last pretty long on my skin. This could be nice for layering as well. I do smell the "olive" that people are talking about at first spray... I think it has to be the pink peppers with the sweet flowers. But this goes away pretty fast. And it's not a big strong olive oil or spicy olive... it's the soft fruit smell. But like I said... 2 minutes after I couldn't smell it anymore. Anyway it's a beautiful composition.

Wow, so many mention of olives, well to be rather specific, green olives or kalamata type brine? I too, got that peculiar note sticking out from the rest of the harmonized musky and white/lactonic floral profile. That contrasting note is somewhat sour, and if I have to guess, it has to be some type of animalic musk like civet (to be more accurate, civettone) or one of the bases the perfumer must have used. I could compare the olive note to that sour aroma I sometimes get from certain coffee beans. The sum feels like a vanilla & white floral boosted powdery vintage animalic musk fragrance.

when I first tried this, all I really got was that green olive smell that some people mention in the comments. No idea what is giving it that smell. Wrote it off as a fail. Tried again over a year later and now I can finally smell what I'm supposed to. I can still get that olive whiff for the first second while the spray is still wet but it vanishes super fast. This does have the same type of sweet musk from musc noir and musc noir rose, and has zero to do with the original for her scent. Finally I get this fluffy honey-like musk, very sweet, with gentle powdered vanilla and florals. I wouldn't say I can pick out one flower specifically so don't be scared if you're a rose hater or anything. I almost feel a sweet bubblegum flavor in this.

Musk mellow magnolia... This is by far the least selling blend of the brand in at least where i am from, and honestly i was infatuated when i first spray it since the name fits its silage which is skin close nuda as i first got an iris musk which was captivating but as it cools down i start to get musk mellow, bitter citrus, semi powder which turns to clay & magnolias which made me not recognizing this blend anymore! I really enjoy this one but I have to agree that this has an slight but noticeable olive brine scent to it in the opening, and wears quite rosey. Very persistent longevity and soft to moderate sillage.

Don't get me wrong, I do love Narciso Fragrances like Poudree and Ambree. Though I was quite disappointed after getting a sniff of this fragrance. It smells like a heavily powdered, linear, rotten dove soap that went wrong. This isn't a girly scent; it's giving an old lady with lingering BO and sweat.

Dose this smells like tova Beverly Hills from back in the 90’s … Tova was so popular in my school back in the days I used to alternate between tova ,, marrusia that dark red triangle bottle and cashmere mist from Donna Karen ahhhh I miss those times :(

I’m quite surprised by how this smells after reading these reviews. To me this is tart rose water, patchouli, and old school. I don’t say it often bc I think it is something people throw around for a scent that they simply don’t like, but it’s kinda grandma. It takes a while for it to calm down and it does smell better as it sits on the skin but overall on its own I am not thrilled. I’m not sure I like Narciso Rodriguez in general. I would consider myself a big fan of musks but his do not do it for me. Today I have decided to try using it as a base to Phlur heavy cream (another scent I don’t love on its own) and it made a surprisingly strong and balmy coconut scent. The jury is still out as to whether I like it. Edit: listen I’m really sorry. I really hate to yuck anyone’s yum but this is straight up rank. Grandma rank.

I love this entire line. I have not been disappointed yet. Most addictive perfumer I own. This nude one is a take it or leave it fragrance. Either you love it or hate it, and I love love love it. I’m a musk lover and this is one of my favorite skin scents. It’s unique and seductive… smells like an intimate encounter. I layer this on top of anything that needs a little fine tuning. It adds elegance and an expensive flare! Currently wearing this over sand and fog peach Bellini and d’amethyst which is green forward (thank me later when your nose is glued to your wrist because you can’t stop smelling it). The dry down is so clean and warm and draw me in closer please!

I like it. There is something strange about the initial sniff I take, cannot describe it. At first I thought - ugh, why does this smell like that..then i gave it some time and I enjoyed it. I think the pink pepper messes with my nose, but at the same time it's what makes this perfume intriguing and not just throwing a plain musk. I wish it lasted more than 3 hours on me...but I guess since it's a skin type of smell...

In NZ we have musk sticks. Theyre a hard, pink candy that smells of musk, rosewater and icing sugar. Powdery, musky, floral, sweet, and airy. Opening a bag of those is like the first spritz of Musc Nude sinking into my skin. From there it just settles into a soft, sweet skin scent. Theres something addictive about the dry down, I find myself huffing my wrists. But that could be the lack of sillage. Im all for it, not every fragrance needs to be beast mode. Update: Ive had this a few months now. Weirdly, it is one of the most complimented fragrances I own, probably 2nd only to Valaya. At a conference today someone sniffed deeply when they were beside me and said "holy shit you are my favourite smell."
