This is that distinct Nivea smell in a bottle. It's definitely powdery, but it doesn't leave me coughing like other powdery scents do. Most people say this is a day fragrance, but I use it at night for a nice, fresh bedding sort of feeling.
It does smell like Nivea Creme, but with a perfumey twist. I don't smell any of the citrus people are mentioning (thank god). It's both creamy and powdery. (Not similar at all to Solinotes Cotton Blossom—I actually hate that one.)
This scent is so interesting, because at first sniff I really liked it, it’s so nostalgic, but then I oversprayed it and it made me nauseous. I then came back to it a few days later and I’m so glad I did, because now I really love it. It’s very powdery, and for me as a millennial that grew up with very aquatic and fresh fragrances, it took some time to get used to it.
Yup. Smells exactly like the cream. Doesn't last more than 2 hours though. Very sad about that. When I wear this people compliment me that I smell fresh. It makes me feel cozy somehow. Like I just showered and put on my lotions and creams and can go snuggle up in bed. I don't wear Nivea as an adult. Maybe that's why I feel nostalgic towards this scent. Wish it would last longer.
Smells really creamy. But it's not worth the price. It last, if you are lucky, about 10 minutes.
Smells like Nivea at first then turns really chemically then after a while when it dries down it's back to Nivea
smell like Nivea. me like Nivea. ‘nuff said.
On my skin it is quite long lasting - same smell as Nivea and it makes me feel comfortable. I think if you want to feel the Nivea smell longer it might be worth buying it. It has the smell that reminds of our grannies.
smells exactly like nivea cream, very pleasant clean smell... BUT it has very poor projection and longevity, and is also a lot more expensive than the cream, so it's not really worth it imo, for the price i'd rather buy a bunch of nivea creams 6/10
Not much point in getting this, has pretty much the same effect as using a Nivea moisturizer, deodorant, etc. Not necessarily bad by any means, just redundant. Also, I found it doesn't last very long.
After it dries down it smells just like the Nivea deodorant, so I don’t see any added value to this spray. It’s also way to overbearing for what’s supposed to be a casual scent. The powdery part is so strong that it clogs my airways (literally). It’s not comparable to the classic soft Nivea scent that comes in cream form.
Smells just like Nivea in shower lotion. The blue bottle. You could achieve this scent by just buying that. I will say, I’m impressed by the staying power of the fragrance. And I do not become nose blind to it. At least four hours later it’s as strong as when you’ve first sprayed it.
This is similar to the Nivea lotion, but there is too much bergamot and citrus - it ends up smelling like Nivea lotion + rotten clementine on me for some time, until the top notes calm down :/
I bought this at the same time Nivea Sun. Unfortunately, I don't like this quite as much. It definitely does smell like Nivea lotion with the citrus dialed up, but I think it loses some of the cosy comfort it has when it leaves creame form.
Exactly what you would expect. Handy for a freshen-up but it is sufficiently like L'Air du Temps that if you have that, you do not really need this. The bottle is cute though.
I definitely get powder and lily of the valley when I first spray. A very clean scent. It does not automatically bring to mind the blue tin cream we used to have decades ago because of other perfumy notes. I think it’s pretty.
If you've ever owned a Nivea cream, you know what this scent smells like. It is slightly less creamy -fair enough. It's not a cream-, and has a strong opening that made me believe that I wasn't going to like it for a couple of minutes, but it then settles into, well... Nivea! It gets creamier/sweeter with time and I love spraying it on me on days when I stay home, after a shower, before I go to bed, etc. It's calming, nostalgic and a great choice for days when you want to smell clean but not necessarily make a statement with your fragrance. It's true that it feels like a skin scent silage-wise soon after you spray it, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It's also true that it lasts for about 2 hours or so, but at this price, I don't mind re-spraying! I think that I will always have it in my collection.
This was such a fun surprise! One spritz and I found myself traveling back in time, a bright blue, metal tin filled with a fragrant white and fluffy cream that was a balsam to skin and soul. A nostalgic blast from the past.
Love this! Smells exactly like nivea cream but it's just a really simple, clean, powdery fragrance. I wouldn't immediately clock this as a nivea perfume on someone else, I think it smells like you just showered. Very inoffensive and great for everyday wear. Detectable on my skin all day for me but I stop smelling it on myself in the air by the end of the day. Reminds me of baby powder, soap, and shampoo. Love layering this on top of the nivea nourishing body milk and on top of the blue tin nivea on my pulse points to get it to last longer.
I finally got my claws on this fragrance, which is definitely vintage, considering that the scent formula of the original spreadable Nivea cream dates back to 1911. Does it smell like the Nivea in the blue tin? Yes. But I have to say, to be identical to the cream, it’s missing one fundamental element: the cream itself. I mean, the fragrance is there, yes, but it’s drier, more glassy — because it lacks that buttery, creamy effect. Yes, it smells clean, like childhood, like grandma, like showers and aftersun — exactly, because my grandmother used to slather us in Nivea straight from the blue tin after letting us fry in the sun with some questionable 1981-style sun protection. Actually, now that I think about it, if I’m not mistaken, she’d smear that very same Nivea on us as sunscreen during the day. Well then. Anyway, yes, this eau de toilette is nice, but after a while you start asking yourself: 'Why do I smell like some broke girl living off deodorant because she can’t afford even a scrap of real perfume?'"
I blind bought this as it was discounted and I was curious about it. It arrived today and I have been wearing this for a couple of hours now. The 30 ml bottle is super cute and less plasticky looking then what I was expecting. The opening is very sweet, again not what I was expecting, and then the familiar blue tin Nivea cream comes out and the sweetness decreases. Overall it is more complex than the scent the cream would leave behind, it is clean, creamy and subtly sweet. Perfect before bed, wonderfully comforting. It doesn't last long, maybe 2 hours 🤍💙🛀
Love it! It is for me not really a perfume but creme bottled in a fragrance. This distinctive Nivea creme scent is so nostaglic for me. Comforting like a cosy blanket
veryyy powdery and the lavender note is quite strong when sprayed at first, but still very much the original nivea scent i expected. this to me is so nostalgic and calming, so i love it, despite the lack of longevity
Vintage scent profile, in the best possible way. It does smell like a perfume version of Nivea cream. I love it. It's the ultimate clean sheet, fresh out of shower, fresh laundry scent. Amazing!
This smells insanely good. I was very surprised. It smells exactly like the creme, but maybe better. Very creamy, slightly sweet, floral, and very clean. It's perfect for me.
The OG blue tin Nivea cream. I LOVE this.🤍 Unfortunately the spray nozzle is a disaster and it leaks perfume after using it. Will find a way to make it work tho.
Wish I could find it in the US
Nivea Eau de Toilette, by Nivea, smells like the blue tint Nivea classic cream. Overall, the perfume smells exactly the way it is marketed, you will not be disappointed, but to me, it has two phase. The first phase, the opening, is the best part in my opinion, but unfortunately, it lasts only a few seconds. The second you spray it, you smell the hyperrealistic CREAM smell, the Nivea blue tint appears in front of you. After some moments, the realistic cream fades, and you are left with the perfume used in the blue tint cream. It is still nice, it is still Nivea, but you smell a perfume, not a cream. Theese nuances may be too small to even be noticed by some, but to me it makes the difference. I wished the cream scent was linear, it would have been one of my favorite perfumes of all time.
This smells like the classic Nivea creme with a citrusy twist. I like it!
Truly a brand extension of the beloved and classic Nivea cream. Very nostalgic and brings me back to the time my mother would use the cream to moisturise after every shower. It's inoffensive, very clean and soapy but not that strong of a performer. Does magic when layered with the original cream.
