It’s almost an exact carbon copy of Hermès’ Eau de Citron Noir.
The strongest sweaty-armpit I’ve ever smelled. Maybe this is what Dolph Lundgren’s armpit smells like—I honestly have no idea. But you’ll definitely need more than a casual whiff of coffee to recover from this one
I smelled this the other day and to me it smells like slightly damp mossy soil, like I was back in grandparents house and went outside after it had just rained. This isn't for everyone so sample before you buy!
Really nice. Only fragrance I’ve got a complimented on from a stranger. But it’s very strong only need like 1 or 2 sprays
Not a huge fan of this scent. Got a sample. Smells very sour, and mossy. Like old lemons that were forgotten about with mold growing on them. It also smells like sweat. Not a safe blind buy. This is a smell that I think a body builder would wear. Ultra masculine, intense, hard to ignore, a sense of not caring what others think.
I tried this one recently, and wow, it's very good. The opening is fruity. I mostly get blackcurrant and grapefruit, but I don't think the main idea of this perfume is about fruits or freshness. Instead, it's about the combination of fruits with ambroxan—a lot of ambroxan—along with the brand's signature DNA and the other notes. How does it smell? The opening is fruity with something very interesting. That combination creates fruits that are neither sweet or sour. They don't come across as particularly fresh, but not in a bad way. For summer, I think this is a very good choice. I've seen some people say that it smells like rotting fruit in a basement, but I don't get anything like that.
As with most Orto Parisi fragrances, Risvelium is an overwhelming beast. A few sprays are enough to fill an entire room. If you enjoy powerful fragrances, you'll definitely appreciate its performance. To my nose, it opens with a very dusty bergamot, quickly followed by amber and a strong ambroxan accord. I actually expected something more unusual, considering Alessandro Gualtieri's previous creations. Instead, Risvelium feels surprisingly straightforward. The dry, dusty woody-amber character reminds me of Imaginary Authors O, Unknown! and even Memoirs of a Trespasser or Abandoned Mansion in spirit, although Risvelium is much louder, brighter and far more synthetic. It's a well-made fragrance, but I personally expected a more distinctive artistic twist from Orto Parisi After trying several fragrances from this House, Boccanera is still my favorite. To me, it strikes the best balance between originality, authenticity and actual wearability. It has a unique identity without feeling like a fragrance that wears you instead of the other way around
Holy shit, this is stroooooooong! Goddamn! Nuclear gets thrown around a lot these days, this is lives up to the nuclear label, this is strong stuff. I'm not sure if it's a keeper tough, just got it but even on a first impression I don't think this is a high heat summer frag, I think it would work well in intermediate weather. It's a weird one but if you're buying orto parisi then you're used to it, but if I would describe it right now I'd say this is a nuclear citrus with the typical orto parisi musky/leather-y drydown (similar dna to cuoium)
Am I the only one who gets the dry drown from Risvelium smelling a bit similar to Cuoium
We have released our documentary about perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri here: https://thenosefilm.gumroad.com/l/blamage Witness the adventurous quest for a perfume, called Blamage, by rebel perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri aka The Nose. He wants to design this fragrance by abandoning all the common rules for making perfumes. For inspiration he travels around the world, but the farther he goes, the more he seems to disrupt not only his environment but also himself. Will Blamage turn out to become the perfect mistake?
Wow 🤩 Unique summer / warm weather fragrance. Quite potent and extremely well blended. I believe it is quite versatile and with modest sprays is also office safe. You won’t smell like anyone else. Try before you buy. Shukran Habibi!
I’ve owned Orto Parisi’s Risvelium for a few months and familiarity is consolidating my love for it. Alessandro Gualtieri had done a fine job with this powerfully aromatic invention. Power is definitely the key word here; it bursts into the air enveloping a room in moments. Some folk may find its nature a tad abrasive but it would take a hard heart not to be just a little bit blown away by the almost symphonic blast of the opening citrus accord (Bergamot and grapefruit on steroids!) More subtle fruity notes follow and carry the formula down into a musky, salty marine-like conclusion. It hangs around for ages and I have no objection whatsoever. I’m a fan clearly!
It smells like what I imagine would happen if aliens were given a written description of the smell of a Christmas tree and then they developed a fragrance with the alien interpretation of that smell, with a strong dose of Vicks vaporub. I sprayed maybe half a spray from a tester on the top of my arm and pressed the top of my hand against the sprayed spot, and it smells like I drenched myself. VERY potent. I don’t get any grapefruit notes, I get pure green herbaceous fougere medicinal profile. I want to like it and I kind of do, but I’m sitting in my car outside Costco with this clawing sensation in the back of my throat. Probably gonna be a no for me.
I gotta say, whatever sweet or citrus notes people are getting from this, for me it’s pretty unnoticeable? Maybe it’s just my skin or maybe I should let this dry more than a couple hours but this has an extremely green, mossy, maybe vetiver note that really stands out more than anything. Getting past that confusion, it’s a nice experience
A close friend of mine bought it, smelled on myself up close I have to admit I didn't like it al all, unique and high quality but strange green smell, very hard to describe. First thought was of an old granny's house with many green leafy plants. Beast projection and longevity, DO NOT BLIND BUY like my friend did. On him from distance it smells actually good, it't the kind of fragrance you learn to love.
Just to be clear this fragrance is not for everyone, which is expected since it’s coming from a highly artistic perfumer. Highly polarising and bold, certainly not made to please everyone, so do not listen to anyone telling you this is a massive compliment getter. To some you will smell masculine, herbal and fruity, slightly animalic but also clean and fresh, while others will see you as non-ventilated room full of mould and damp old furniture. Honestly, I am loving it so much. The more I wear it the more it grows on me, now I see it as an artistic, slightly mossier, less sweet take on Aventus Absolu. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beginner-friendly entry to the artistic niche perfumery. Also to me this is a literal definition of every day artistic perfume, I think it could be worn no matter the season or occasion just tone it down a bit on the sprays.
Extremely unique, a combination of the most juicy grapefruit and blackcurrent sweets ever and compost. but the fruityness is super dry after an hour or so, this scent changes amazingly to almost a vetiver scent after a vew hours. Very unique and enjoayble
this one is going to land somewhere between a dislike and a neutral review for me. i do not hate it because it is not disgusting or poorly made, but it is absolutely not for me my immediate reaction was that it is just way too strong. i tend to prefer skin scents and intimate sillage, and this feels like the complete opposite of that philosophy. if people are smelling me, i want it to be because they chose to get close, not because i decided for them i was really hoping to get some of the grapefruit, or at least some brightness from the citrus notes, but i do not get that at all. what i do get is musk. a lot of musk. alongside something intensely green, like i have shoved pine needles or crushed leaves directly up my nose. some kind of leafy greenery, but amplified to a level that becomes overwhelming for me this is the kind of fragrance i would walk past on someone else and think they might have applied a little too much. not necessarily because it smells bad, but because it feels intrusive. almost like it is trying a little too hard to announce itself i kept waiting for my opinion to soften as it developed, hoping the initial assault would settle into something i connected with more, but it never really happened. i can appreciate that this style of fragrance has an audience, and i do not think it lacks artistry. it just runs completely opposite to what i enjoy wearing. for someone who likes bold, assertive fragrances with a lot of presence, i can see the appeal. for me though, this is a hard pass!!
I bought my bottle in November and hated the smell - I thought it was unwearable. I revisited it today and it’s certainly a potent scent, but it isn’t awful. I get very strong citrus with some type of vegetable (celery?) or herb and musk. The citrus isn't sweet, tart or even fresh smelling. Maybe the citrus botanicals are from overripe fruits or their rinds? I’m not sure where I would wear this…maybe on a hike? Maybe it can repel a bear? Either way, I do like it for what it is. The bottle and cap are really cool, and I don’t mind the strong smell...it's like wearing strange art. 7.5/10
Wanted to like it because of the cap is stunning. Got a sample and a hard no from me. To me it smells like if you took a bunch of grass and flowers and soil and hay and churned it up and took a big inhale. My nose couldn’t even take a full inhale its so pungent. A lot greener to me than notes suggest not citrusy at all
What on earth is this? It's poison, a poisonous liquid that penetrates matter so deeply that it becomes part of the subject. Absolutely insane, so strong that it suffocates, powerfully killing, great sillage, abnormal longevity and an eternal bond with the skin. I can't wash it off after 2 days of scrubbing and I only tested one drop. But it's so good, so addictive. It's pain and pleasure at the same time. I use it on a piece of wood that's sitting on my shelf and my whole house smells like it, but I'm not brave enough to put it on myself. EDIT: Absolutley nothing to do with the notes listed. Not even slightley. Idk what this is but it is atomic.

Personnel lacking appropriate clearance are advised to discontinue review immediately > INCIDENT DISCALIMER The organization accepts no responsibility for consequences arising from unauthorized exposure, improper handling procedures, or voluntary reapplication exceeding recommended limits. The following report on the experiment conducted by [redacted] demonstrates the potential consequences of inadequate usage. The case remains under investigation. - INCIDENT RSVL-01-HBS REPORT - - Substance RSVL-731-A was initially catalogued as a fragrance compound and entered testing under standard aromatic evaluation protocols. Following preliminary trials, classification was suspended. Protocol was followed, but it proved insufficient. Date: 29-05-2026, 8:10 A.M. Environmental Conditions: Stable Deployment successful. Substance enters surrounding airspace immediately. Initial readings suggest elevated aromatic density. It presents strong citric similarities to grapefruit; supporting citric accords further elevate the 'effervescent' opening. Acidity levels prove no threat in contact with human skin. New accord resembling pineapple adds juicy-fruity attributes; counterbalances the citric, sour acidity. Construction type: synthetic. - 8:50 A.M. Initial readings suggesting elevated aromatic density prove accurate. Composition demonstrates non-linear development patterns - vegetal accord initiates dry down phase. Green accents of [unspecified] herbs provide controlled spice levels; vague mustiness steps in alongside. Earthy backbone begins unraveling; potency only intensifies with time. Rooty accords further aid earthy domination; moss covers latter aspect. Little perceived smokiness throughout testing. - A.N. Subject begins presenting elevated curiosity levels regarding the substance; observers entering the affected area independently initiate discussion regarding environmental changes despite lacking prior knowledge of deployment. Subject's ability to perceive said environmental changes degrade with time. - 9:30 A.M. Substance enters final development stage. Dense, heavy fixatives portraying musk warmth bind with earthy profile and persistent acidity. Woody accords yield diminished presence. Surrounding area extending to 5+ feet further showcasing environmental changes; observers continue acknowledgement of the atmospheric altering, show reduced olfactory discomfort when approaching subject >2 feet. - A.N. Subject further reports recurring desire to inspect substance; appears unaffected/unaware of substance's potency. - 11:15 A.M. Substance continues portraying potent environmentally-altering behavior. - 13:45 P.M. Substance continues portraying potent environmentally-altering behavior. - END OF ORIGINAL REPORT - A.N. - Substance Physical Hazard level - LOW. No direct physiological threat identified. Substance Psychological Occupancy - SEVERE. Substance remains cognitively active long after direct observation has ceased. Substance Curiosity Induction - EXTREME: subject's compulsion to reanalyze the sample intensified throughout the conduction of the experiment; insistence led to aggressive remarks. At ~17:15 P.M. on the day of the experiment, subject broke protocol through reapplication of substance without prior consent. Subject was immediately contained and impeded any further contact with substance, despite subject's continued efforts at opposition. Classification Resistance: CRITICAL. Researchers remain unable to establish unanimous descriptive consensus. - Personnel cleared for contact with Substance RSVL-731-A are reminded of the requirement to follow and obey strict protocol procedures and the methodical assessment of the substance. Failure to observe the aforementioned safety protocols may result in disciplinary action, revocation of clearance privileges, removal from active research assignments, and, in severe cases, termination of employment - Containment for Substance RSVL-731-A - A.K.A. Risvelium remains technically possible. Compliance remains unlikely. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Presentation: 7.5/10 Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 9.5/10 Versatility: 7.5/10 Value for Money: 6/10 Overall: 8/10
Skip the influencers. Test this on your skin. The opening stopped me immediately. Slighlty metallic, aldehydic, bright grapefruit with an expensive alcohol quality — like a luxury aftershave from another era but completely modern at the same time. Instantly masculine, instantly unique. Projection filled the space around me within seconds of spraying. At 1 hour the top notes dissolved so seamlessly into my skin I lost the ability to describe it. Not because it faded — because it became indistinguishable from me. People nearby were smelling something intimate and expensive that they couldn't place. At 2 hours — blackcurrant and a clean fresh pineapple emerged. Not the overripe pineapple of Aventus. Something brighter, more alive, more refined. At 3 hours still projecting at 90%. No drop in quality. Fruity, dreamy, completely consistent. 4+ hours — settled into its final form and stayed there for over 10 hours. Skin chemistry note: My skin sweetens everything and this worked perfectly with Risvelium. Zero harshness, zero synthetic feeling at any stage. Pleasing from first spray to dry-down. Most reviewers won't tell you about this one. The algorithm doesn't reward it. Trust your own skin over anyone's opinion including mine.
Genius, dry genius. I haven't received so many compliments in one day for any perfume from my collection, and it's a big one, if that matters at all. 1 to 2 sprays max.
The only scent I could never stand
The notes scream fresh scent, seeing grapefruit and bergamot, but I only smell musk and ambroxan, which is ok, but I wanted more citrusy notes in it, not to suffocate in the warm weather, it kind of reminds me of Black Afgano, with that earthy, green notes. If you want a nice grapefruit scent, go with Bvlgari Tygar, not this, this is a big no for me regarding citrus scent.
I really like the citrus opening and earthy dry down but there is too much ambroxan for my liking. It is too sour. I sprayed once on my neck, went outside and returned one and half hour later. Than I hear my mom from down stairs to not spray this at the house or she wouldnt be able to fall asleep. If you live alone or you like to spend most of your day outside go for it. And one spray is enough, trust me.
For those of you who’d have liked an Aventus with Gualtieri’s touch, you first need to graduate from Aventus stage. I think you just jumped over too wide of a gap going straight to Gualtieri’s work. He doesn’t create for masses.
All of these poetics…. Smh. If you like really good weed, this is what it smells like. Like the strong sativa lemon kind. Aside from the “weed” smell, when this opens up you get this grapefruit smell that’s a bit dirty. Which is what’s making me think of weed when I smell it, but there is also this “fresh stream” smell that reminds me of a fresh water stream, a little mineral smell too. Doesn’t remind of salt water thankfully. I noticed that I smelt it all day, and it was a good conversation piece too. Everyone is always telling me it reminds them of something, but that something they can never define. So it’s super interesting. If it’s summer and you’re thinking of this grab it, it’s winter perhaps wait. Definitely a warm weather scent. It reminds me of summer when I would smoke sour d and go primal and casually hallucinate. Good times.
Do not ever smell from the cap if you trying in store. I dont know why I love smell but when I smell from cap its smell horrendous I am trying the longevity and change right now its been 13 hours its still dont have that gasoline ,metallic smell I dont know why is but if you are trying just spray it somewhere
