I could swear there was a raspberry note. Lovely fragrance. It a like for me

when i first smelled it i was like :/// but then i smelled it again two weeks later and omg I'm in love smells like sharing a candy with your friends when taking a break from studying in a big old wooden library before your winter finals

Анонім★★★★★

Must admit it is sexy. Definitely strong and can induce headaches, but damn it is a sexy femme fatale scent. Good for winter nights, wouldn't wear it myself but would like to smell it on someone.

No longer use my bottle of this, only 4ml used. Selling for almost half the price 🩷 Gorgeous fragrance but I’m more of a florals gal now.

Its a beautiful perfume, perfectly suited for colder weather. I tried it in person, and upon initial sniff, thought it was okay. I kept smelling the tester, and over the next minute, thought, okay this is nice. Wait. Its actually so good. Wait, I love this, and immediately ordered a full bottle. Its a really smooth easy introduction into oud for those who may not be familiar with or huge fans of oud fragrances. The only downside is that it really doesnt last long, but I plan to carry some in an atomizer for repeat application.

I have been disappointed more the a few time when buying and trading perfume and I have been hugely impressed with stuff I thought I would not like and for me this one was a disappointment. I bought the whole portraits collection thinking I would like most of them and love at least one of them and I really thought the one I was going to love was going to be this one or the blazing Mr.Sam so when I put this one on with such high hopes I was really sad to have it be only okay not great. As I continued to wear it through the afternoon and evening it did not fade it did not change it was the exact same thing I put on two hours ago but it had this note in there that was very synthetic and unpleasant . So naturally I tried to take it off and put something else on because me and my family were going out to eat and I wanted to smell good so over it I put the the blazing Mr. Sam (which was not great but still better) and I was happy to tried of the smell but as the Sam continued to dry down I noticed that the harsh first seconds after spraying a perfume smells had covered up that Yasmine had not yet left the room and she was haunting me harder than a poltergeist. At that point we were ready to head out and there was nothing left to do but wear it out to dinner and be sad all night.2/10 would not recommend (no judgement if you like it it is just not my style at all🙁).

Yasmine is mysterious and immediately likable, but it does not carry the same expensive feeling as some of the other fragrances from Penhaligon's. There is something easy about it, though at times it feels like it is missing the depth and maturity that make many fragrances from this house feel so refined and unforgettable. The scent is still beautiful in its own way. It has a smooth warmth and an understated elegance that makes it very wearable, especially for everyday use. However, compared to some of the darker or more complex offerings from the brand, this one feels younger and less developed to my nose. Even so, I do not regret purchasing it at all. Not every fragrance needs to feel dramatic or ultra sophisticated to deserve a place in a collection. This is an easy fragrance to reach for when I want something comforting, feminine, and uncomplicated, and I know I will continue wearing it from time to time.

Very heavy spicy and sweet with a woody backbone. Would love if they used real Laotian Oud as it would add great depth. Not bad, but not something I would see myself getting a bottle of.

@Scents & bloom What you're saying is true for pre 2015 Penhaligon's. The brand has been bought by Puig that year, along with L'Artisan Parfumeur and you can clearly see the decline of both brands since then. Gone are the creativity and artistry.

this is one of the sexiest things i’ve ever smelled oh my god i need to wear this to the club song it reminds me of: pain - boy harsher

Penhaligon’s is one of the oldest luxury fragrance houses, established in 1837, long before most of the modern designer brands people tend to compare it to, such as Dior, Chanel, or Tom Ford, which were founded much later in the 20th century. I’ve been quite surprised and honestly disappointed to see some reviews suggesting their perfumes might be “dupes” of other scents. That idea feels completely misplaced. This is a heritage British house with a long-standing tradition of craftsmanship and originality. Its fragrances aren’t imitations of newer brands—they are part of a legacy that helped shape the world of perfumery as we know it today. Ultimately, when you buy a Penhaligon’s fragrance, you’re paying for the artistry- the layers, the balance, and the creativity behind the composition. So this review is just a light hearted attempt to educate those who are not familiar with this fragrance house. This review isn’t about a specific fragrance, but about Penhaligon’s as a whole.

I was sooo excited for this sample but, looks can be deceiving. When i smelled it, the opening was straight up baby powder and baby wipes slowly turning into a plastic, pool float-y smell, then finally settling down to a burnt plastic smell. Crazy on my skin lol but I'm sure it smells fine on someone else.

One of my favourite perfumes , warm , spicy and sweet. I personally feel like it doesn't last that long so not really worth the price but unfortunately i haven't found anything similar its very unique so I will most likely be repurchasing this

Анонім★★★★★

I love this, just performance sucks. Very intimate cuddle date night vibe situation.

Don't get why it's considered súper feminine, this feels very unisex almost leaning male.

Yummmm love this so much -- I've smelled literally no other jasmine fragrance like this one, and that's why it holds the a special place in my collection. It's unique as all heck, and deliciously cozy. It opens boldly grape. A sweet, juicy plummy grape jasmine, that which is soon draped in a dark, velvet cloak of honey and mulling spices. It's sweet, yet fresh. Fully present, but never cloying; always fascinating in character. The listed cardamom, coffee, vanilla is not indicative of my olfactory journey. It reads more like grape jasmine, smokey red wine and oud, coumarin and vanilla-spice infused honey. A romantic paradox, or a fragrance riddle. It's possible for one to dislike vanilla yet still love this smell, as it's not overwhelming the fragrance. Some British houses are criminally underrated -- I can only urge you to try the magic on yourself.🐈⬛🪄✨🔮

All of the ingredients are so well blended and create a very plush suede accord that later morphs into a syrupy vanilla oud. Delicious. Smells similar to Suede Extrait Molecular from AEIR.

I've fallen out of love and into like with this one. I tried a 1 ml sample years ago and loved it-Jasmine! Cardamon! Oud!!!! Vanilla! Incense! I recently finished a 2ml sample and while I love the vanilla drydown, I find the opening and heart interesting but I don't love it.

Анонім★★★★★

this is the perfect witchy scent 💜🧙🌿 it opens incredibly sweet and thick, almost syrup like, though this only lasts about 15 minutes. from the start it’s warm, cosy, and spicy, it’s an ideal fragrance for autumn and winter. the longer you let it settle, the more beautiful it becomes. the jasmine remains present throughout, but once the coffee note emerges, it’s sooo yummy. It makes me feel like i’m relaxing inside a witch’s cottage, slowly sipping coffee while incense burns in the background and herbal candles flicker nearby. the room is filled with tapestries, antiques, and plants, all blending into the scent and adding to its magic. as it dries down it leans more into pure incense, softened by a sweet, creamy vanilla and a sharp touch of oud. longevity is on the shorter side, lasting around 2–3 hours in total.

I know I am late to the game but boy oh boy is this an amazing discovery for me. I am not into boozy nor gourmand nor spicy perfumes so I was avoiding this one as I was prejudiced against it. Could not have been more wrong and surprised about how much i LOVE this. It is perfectly unisex - maybe marginally feminine leaning - with a slight sweet and spicy twist: nothing too overwhelming nor too decidedly gourmand, neither churchy. The jasmine is there front and center but never too feminine nor indolic. Just a sexy, muted presence that feels cool and collected, mature but not vintage and supported by an oud that is never animalic and reads more like a soft, sweet leather - suede maybe - throughout the entire experience. The coffee and cardamom are present but barely there: more like a benevolent ghostly presence to lend balance and somehow an airy yet warm facet. The lasting power is insane - more than 8 hrs on my skin and longer than that on my clothes. Intoxicatingly addictive and not for the faint of heart. Full bottle worthy and willing to pay the expensive price for it. Cannot stop thinking about it.

Such an elegant mature scent, gave my mom the sample and she loved it next thing I knew she had the full bottle! Can't say I'm surprised given the luxurious and nostalgic jasmine and oud combo.

Анонім★★★★★

Bewitching indeed. I love this scent. This is mysterious, seductive, gothic, and the ultimate dark feminine fragrance. The fir in the heart adds this slight touch of aromatics, which I think is totally called for. I find this blend of notes so intriguing, especially since I'm usually not a big fan of jasmine, but it really works for me. It's blended quite well, as I find most Penhaligon's fragrances are.

Анонім★★★★★

Bewitching Yasmine feels exactly like its name suggests — seductive, mysterious, and quietly powerful. This is not a polite jasmine, and it’s certainly not innocent. It opens dark, warm, and slightly spicy, with a richness that immediately feels evening-ready and intentional. The jasmine here is deep and velvety rather than airy. It’s wrapped in incense-like warmth, creamy woods, and a soft sweetness that never tips into gourmand. There’s something smoky and almost animalic underneath, giving it a sensual, slow-burn quality that lingers rather than announces itself. On my skin, it feels luxurious and enveloping — the kind of scent that clings to fabric, hair, and memory. It evolves beautifully over time, becoming smoother and more intimate, like a secret shared after sunset. This is jasmine for someone who doesn’t want to smell “pretty,” but captivating. Longevity is excellent, and the sillage is confident without being overwhelming. It’s a night-time fragrance for colder months, special occasions, or when you want to feel a little dangerous in the best possible way. Bewitching Yasmine doesn’t flirt — it casts a spell.

Similar to ange ou demon from givenchy

This would have been the perfect winter perfume for me if the opening didn’t smell so medicinal. I love how the jasmine note blends with the slightly smoky, incense-like tones. But I think the only issue with this perfume is its opening. That strong chemical–medicinal smell right after the first spray feels a bit harsh on my nose. However, after 1–2 hours, once the fragrance settles and melts into my skin, it becomes much more balanced.

Анонім★★★★★

For the price point it should be lasting way longer than an hour after spraying, I definitely overspray as well and it still fades super fast! A common theme with penhaligons unfortunately and after owning 4 of their fragrances I've learnt my lesson and won't be purchasing any more.

Анонім★★★★★

I hate jasmine but I love this for the 30-45 minutes or so.. The jasmine very much takes a backseat to the vanilla, oud, and incense. The cardamom hit at first is great if you love cardamom, but it fades pretty quick if you don't. This hits similarly to Kayali's Vanilla Oud but a bit spicier. After the first hour or so I hate this... it fades to a sweaty oud-fest that even the vanilla can't shut up. I dislike that.

Анонім★★★★★

tried it once with a friend and was so addicted to the way it smelled on my wrist/blotter i came back to nyc to put it on again (i had tried on an awful perfume by DS&Durga so it wasn't a reliable perfume window shopping day) and when i put it on again last weekend...it was more spicy than I remembered. Now thats not a bad thing, but anyone who knows me knows I am a jasmine supremacist, so that was a driving point in me seeking to purchase this perfume. The jasmine was there, subconsciously, along with the ghost of coffee brewed in the same room jasmine had been adorning, but thats all they were: whispers juxtaposed against what i can only imagine was the oud or incense (tho incense is not what I would've described it in the moment, my boyfriend found it a little peppery even. that being said. it does live up to the reputation of being bewitching. personality wise, i think it fits me and the lil mystic energy i got to my aura and own reputation. however in reality, i am much more of a seductive floral type of woman. So in trying on this perfume recently, I was turned off to I find it more spicy than sweet-sultry. I want to give it another chance to wear it properly and not in a rush in a perfume store, so I'll be updating this when I get my likkle sample.
