Heavy Cream

Straight up smells like vanilla milk with nothing else. Smells cozy and angelic, it does pull a little lactonic in a realistic way but it fits! It’s perfect but unfortunately, too faint.

I was honestly shocked at how good this smelled on me. I love the idea of creamy, laconic perfumes, but I struggle to find one I like. I got this as a tester and randomly tried it one evening and my husband freaked out, he loved it so much. He does let me know when he likes my scent, but it’s rare, he’ll only mention it if it’s a 10 for him. I love it, too, very soft and inoffensive to me.

THE layering scent for me, I really love how this can accentuate or elevate other scents! Out of my collection, I think I've only found one or two scents this doesn't mix well with. On a rare occasion I'll wear this alone, but normally, it's stacked with others. It's really giving a new life to scents I got bored of.

Reading the reviews I was nervous this was going to have that sour/off milk smell or even vomit smell, however this worked fine with my skin chemistry and gave a nice lactonic fragrance. Not too heavy or overly powerful. The dry down was less milky and more just generic vanilla; you could find much better body sprays for a cheaper price in my opinion! In short - meh.

I never thought I could nearly vomit smelling a perfume on my skin. Seriously, I collect perfume for 25 years now and NOTHING was so disgustingly transformed on me. I literally dry heaved 2 seconds into dry down. Mind you, the first blast of spray was ok, but when I turned my nose again I could not believe it was so revolting. I am lost for words. Asked the Sephora lady something to scrub that horrific thing out of me. Never ever in my life I expect a perfume to smell like puke, spoiled milk, mould yogurt, public abandoned loo. Guess is body chemistry as some people seem to like it…

Tested on paper in store. Smells like sweet cream, but, like, there's something wrong with it. :/

it's frustrating because i actually find the smell okay and it fetches compliments, but i think it must be the ambrettolide that makes my nose burn so badly, i go into a sneezing fit every time i spray it!

I love sweet gourmands and this is unbearably sweet to me. I could barely stand to smell it a second time.

yuuuuummm, buttery smooth and fluffy. You can layer this with other warm gourmands to give it an *EXTRA* kick because the smell is not strong at all and won't overpower whatever you have on. Good sillage and longevity (not greater than vanilla skin). I love phlur body mists' atomizers, a cloud with the finest particles

Sweet and airy, not cloying as I had feared. Coconut adds a nice nutty note.

I should love this, given that the notes are basically all me, but I absolutely hate this scent. It is extremely cloying, and every time I catch a whiff of it, I instantly get a headache and feel nauseous. My best description? Radioactive, toxic, spoiled-milk Play-Doh with a sickening amount of sugar dumped on top, finished with a breeze of burnt car tyres👎🏼

i don’t get the hate for this at all. maybe it’s because i’m a big fan of lactonics (despite being lactose intolerant) and like the creamy smell

This smells nice. It’s light, sweet, fluffy, and whipped-cream-like. It has a creamy, cozy quality, making it nice for casual wear, but it makes me think of a bedtime fragrance more than anything else. I don’t get the spoiled milk or smell anything weird bthat some other people pick up. I like this scent quite a bit, but there’s nothing particularly special about it to me, and I just don’t think it’s worth the price tag. 6/10 Sillage: 4/10 Longevity: 5/10

This is hands down the BEST body mist EVER made. It’s sooooo creamy, cozy and just WONDERFUL. Stays forever on clothes (and skin). It gets 10/10 without a doubt!

sometimes I honestly wonder if there is a perfume/mist/etc that might just be doing too much. Perhaps too overwhelmingly sweet or too heavy on the gourmand, but yet i smell something like this, which has all of the sweetness of cream, lactonics and vanilla amped to the max and I absolutely am sold. Love it. Give me more. What’s wrong with me?!?!

It smells familiar to me but I couldn't figure out what that familiar scent was. Then someone below described it as "baby spitting up milk" that's the smell I remember but if that baby was spitting vanilla milk. It's not a horrible scent but not something I would purchase again. And it turns any scent I layer it with into a hair conditioner smell. So now I just use the rest as a hair mist. It makes your hair smell like you just washed it and conditioned it.

To me it smells like milky vanilla. I've bought Blanche Bete recently and wanted something just as cozy to wear to bed. Fits well for this purpose :)

I love this scent. It it smells airy, sweet, coconuty, fluffy and marshmellowy, vanillary and very lactonic. My boyfriend says it also smells like coconut sunscreen to him.

Wow, this body mist takes the cake for smelling like vomit and spoiled milk. The notes sounded very nice and interesting, but I was mistaken this is rancid.

i primarily use this one as a hair mist, but pairs well with just about any scent. more so can be seen as a fragrance sweetener. just gives light airy sweetness, very much a vanilla homemade whipped cream!

Sweet, vanilla, creamy, lactonic, coconut, powdery, warm, luminous, feminine, sensual, flirty, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delicious, delightful, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this is a sweet and creamy fluffy marshmallow and airy whipped cream, drizzled with buttery caramel, and sprinkled with sparkling sugar, coconut flakes, and sometimes lemon and orange zest. The ambrettolide and a soft touch of warmth that makes it more cozy and comforting. Somehow this does actually manage to feel both like and airy, but also smooth and velvety. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the whipped cream, marshmallow, vanilla, and caramel. This was a love at first sniff for me, and I still really love it! I don’t get anything rancid, or like spoiled milk. I’ve had this for over a year, and mine still smells the way it did whenever I first bought it from Sephora. Just a pretty and delicious whipped cream and marshmallow scent that I still love. I would almost call this delicate, but still having a presence. As for milky/lactonic scents, well it seems like they can be hit or miss for me. I’ve never tried one that smelled like spoiled milk to me though. I’ve really enjoyed all of the fragrances that have a whipped cream note in them that I’ve tried, but an actual “milk” notes seems to be what ends up making them hit or miss for me. Also, I typically really love fragrances with marshmallow notes, it’s actually probably my favorite note along with cotton candy. I’m completely obsessed with Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Kilian LDBS, Princess, and BBW Cotton Candy Clouds, and consider them to be pretty much perfection. I’m a big fan of Phlur, and I currently own quite a few fragrances from them. My favorites are Honey Moon, Heavy Cream, Vanilla Nectar, Beach Skin, Vanilla Skin, Matcha Milk, Vanilla Blackberry, and Island Swim. Vanilla Smoke is nice too, but that’s one that I like more for layering during the fall and winter whenever I want to add a smoky and woody scent to usually one of my vanillas, although it might actually pair nicely with Heavy Cream. As for the “reminds me” section, I agree that it’s reminiscent of Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, Afternoon Delight, Coconut Passion, Vanilla Twirl, and Gold Sugar. To me this feels feminine me suitable for women of any age. I think it works best during the fall and winter because of how sweet, cozy, and comforting it is. I think it’s most fitting for casual occasions and work/school. This performs nicely, especially for a mist. The longevity is moderate to strong, it lasts at least 6-7 hours on my skin. The projection is moderate, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me.
