I like this scent it does not scream gamechanger factor but it can get the job done, in my opinion this is a good scent for office, gym and formal gatherings like weddings, proms, birthdays etc however i think there are better flankers when it comes to daily wear, this is a nice spring/summer frag that is a good scent. I can say it's a safe scent for gym and office environments but there are better alternatives again for daily wear and occasional wear. If you care about longevity and sillage this ain't for you but if you are not in a rush and need something to get the job done, this is for you. Overall 7/10 Good scent but personally? i won't buy this because i don't feel anything special about this scent really.

This one really surprised me. At first I thought it smelled like Prada Amber, and although there are similarities (and use cases), they aren't as similar as I originally thought. Testing them side by side, amber is a little sweeter while Luna Rossa is musker and more aromatic. Both are great. As far as Luna rossa, this fragrance lasts, I put it on my hand yesterday around 8-9 pm and I can still smell it at 1pm today (granted light skin scent). Also it projects pretty well which also surprised me. This will be a definitely pick up for me. Prada does clean and soapy really well.

This is an oldie but goody. It's fresh, a little minty, clean soapy feel is sophisticated and clean as hell. I love this scent. It's moderate for performance at best, but so worth it. 9/10 for me.

A study in smart sterility with a subtle mouthwash edge - beautiful aromatic ingredients filtered through a stainless steel laboratory. Clean, sharp, metallic, but still with the relaxed undertone of the lavender & Clary sage. It's a bit like Paco XS if it came out 18 years later, which this did.

This make me smell like a little cloud

The only Prada fragrance I care for and one that will never leave my collection.

10/10 when you don’t know what to wear or just on a sunny hot day, it’s refreshing

I was looking for something for warm weather/summer time. I wanted something that EVERYONE wasn't wearing. I'm not saying Prada isn't an extremely popular house, which it is, but the OG regular Luna Rossa EDT isn't. It's not the first, second, or even third fragrance that comes to mind when you bring up the Luna Rossa line. That being said, WOW! This is a perfect combination of modern meets classic. It's sophisticated, elegant, yet nice and straight forward as well. It really is a perfect fragrance for everyday wear AND the dry down would work great in evening scenarios. Truly a jack of all trades specializing in daytime and hot weather. 8.5/10

@kiiz Thank you for the tip. I LOVE Luna Rossa, and after running out of my bottle that I purchased some time ago, I bought a new one, and something was missing - it just didn't have the depth of the OG. And it is such a gorgeous scent, a true lavender bomb like no other. I can only guess it's been reformulated, so I found an older bottle on eBay. And indeed, it smells better, more depth, and more longevity. That isn't going to be a very realistic option going forward, so I am going to check out that Maison Violet Rivage - ordered a sample today. That being said, the new formulation is still very nice, and still a fragrance I would recommend. Not sure if it's a safe blind buy though. I would recommend getting a decant first, as I do with ALL scents, even the cheapies.

A modern masterpiece. Easy to get compliments because EVERYBODY likes this scent profile. Clean, clean, and clean. Clean equals sexy and put-together. Deserves a perfect score. I will always have this juice within reach

Kinda reminds of the dreamer, both nice fragances

I smelled it again yesterday in the store after a long time and sprayed my jacket's hood to experience it afterwards at home. It smells incredible whenever I walk past the hanger in my hallway. It's flawless, simple and clean. Daniele Andrier is a master of musks and coumarin, and it shows here too. She carved this violet-musk-coumarin DNA into the entire Prada brand, and Luna Rossa is the core of it. While she puts more violet-iris-musk emphasis on the Infusion series, in men's category of L'Homme and Luna Rossa she puts coumarin and dihydromyrcenol (with lavender-bergamot) forward along with an immense layer of Iso E Super (not without orris of course, which does the signature finish), Ambrox and musks. The result is the clean, barbershop soapy and laundry fresh scent cloud that doesn't offend anyone and stays pleasant throughout. A fragrance right before the time where aggressive woody ambers took the world like the plague.

@the_metalhead_attorney Maison Violet Rivage is what you’re looking for. Much higher quality than the current formulation

This was my signature scent in 2013-2014 as a flawless Prada soapy take on the old-school fougere. I've rediscovered this gem, but am down to my last 5ml in my 2013 bottle Did they make significant changes to the formulation since then, or can I blind-buy a backup bottle? (Please say it's the same🤞)

Like classical music in perfume form. Timeless, elegant, intelligent. This person is informed, diligent, measured and gets up at 4am has an ice bath and then has an hour before work reading the Financial Times, listening to classical music whilst brewing coffee in a French press, eating a freshly baked croissant. Gets in to work early with low stress levels and is cool calm and collected all day lol

Prada Luna Rossa instantly took me back to when it was released in 2012. It’s a clean, classic office fragrance with a noticeable lavender focus. It’s best suited for daytime wear, especially in spring, rather than for date nights. Easygoing and professional, but not particularly exciting. It’s ok, but there are better scents out there now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 out of 5 stars

It's my scent of the day and it's been almost 12 hrs already. And i can still smell this radiating on my skin. One of my all-time favorite perfumes!❤️ Prada Luna Rossa Eau De Toilette > all its flankers!❤️

Анонім★★★★★

The opening is quite good. It dries down to something similar to what the janitor at my kindergarten used to clean the bathrooms.

Анонім★★★★★

my boyfriend has this, and it smells okay. soapy, flowery, mild and inoffensive. the bottle sucks, tapping on the metal part makes a plastic noise and it just feels cheap in my hand. personally, if i'm spending over a hundred dollars on one bottle of perfume, i want a memorable scent with a bottle that feels expensive, rather than just passable. can we normalize that

Анонім★★★★★

I find this a very mild scent, from the off I can barely smell anything, after loving prada lhomme I had high hopes, maybe when summer comes it will help it perform a bit better, I read up on this for a long time and feel a bit pissed. I have armani code parfum and prada lhomme to satisfy my clean and soapy cravings and was hoping the luna rossa would sort me out for the hottest days, will just have to wait and see. Edit, I have changed my mind on this one, I think I was having a stressful time when first trying this, I think things like that can affect your sense of smell along with cold, flu's and wearing scents too often, I don't think it's always the fragrance that's to blame for apparent poor performance. I really like this luna rossa, it's my type of scent and I'm very happy with it now,

Анонім★★★★★

Horrible perfume...

Анонім★★★★★

Fresh, refreshing and professional. It's mass appealing but the longevity is abysmal on my skin. I can hardly get 1-2 hrs of performance. Becomes a skin scent within less than an hour.

Анонім★★★★★

Clean, fresh, and ridiculously mass appealing. A total masterpiece. Easily my favourite in the Prada Luna Rossa line, and even better when you grab it on discount. LOVE x 100000. It also gives me a similar vibe to Dirty by Lush, which I’m obsessed with too. 8/10 (would be 10 if last a bit longer, but this is a edt and fresh, so no more to say)

Анонім★★★★★

This one takes me straight back to college days—clean, sporty, and quietly confident. It was easy to wear and felt polished without trying too hard, the kind of scent that fit daily routines and long days. That said, it does feel a bit dated now. Pleasant, reliable, but outpaced by newer, more interesting releases. Still a good perfume—just no longer the standout it once was.

Clean, metallic, synthetic, and a bit abrasive. Personal: 6.5/10 – I don’t dislike it, but I don’t really enjoy it either. It smells clean, sharp, and modern in a very Prada way, but it leaves my nose feeling cold and a bit high and dry. Mass appeal: 8/10 – Fairly inoffensive and easy to like. Not many people will actively dislike this. Performance: 6/10 – Average at best. It hangs around for a few hours and then politely exits the room. Value: 6.5/10 – Fairly priced on discounters, but it feels kind of lacking for what it is. Uniqueness: 6/10 – The metallic-soapy-fresh Prada DNA is recognizable, but not especially exciting. It just kind of feels like an ultra-modern anti-sweetness response to Le Male. SCORE: 66/100 Full bottle buy? NO, it’s fine, but I’d never reach for it when better Luna Rossas exist. Blind buy? YES, extremely safe if you want clean, fresh, and professional, though its synthetic backbone means the pricepoint is the only reason why it's safe. Recommend? YES, but only if you want something very neutral and modern, almost sterile. Date night? NO, it lacks warmth, intimacy, or personality, or really depth in general. Office safe? YES, seems almost designed in a lab, specifically for office environments. Pros: Clean and professional, fairly safe, modern and polished, easy dumb reach for the price Cons: Cold and sterile, lacks depth, forgettable, borderline boring This is where it all started... somehow. It's Prada at their most minimalist, with a metallic, clean, kind of soapy (from the lavender, I think) vibe that's, well, very avant-garde pre-20teens Prada. It really isn't bad, but it's not at all engaging. It has a distinct sterility from the metallic undertones that I can't shake, nor overlook in my rather critical review. This fragrance paved the way for some much better, and more interesting, flankers to come along further down the line and, not revolutionize, but nonetheless positively impact the modern fragrance landscape. I understand why it WAS, though thankfully no longer IS, popular. 13 years ago, the fragrance landscape was very different, and the modern sweet-masculine-woody-blah DNA that's so popular didn't exist. This tried to start marching in a very different direction, a path JPG tried to blaze almost 2 decades before Prada did, but Luna Rossa was thankfully grabbed by the scruff in the 20teens and brought into the much more pleasant, less sterile, though equally uninteresting, land of the more modern masculine fragrance. That said, it's still fairly unobtrusive, professional, and to the casual nose, palatable, even by modern standards. You can wear this every. single. day. without offending anyone, but it doesn't do much beyond that anymore, besides exist as a landmark of what the modern 'man' cologne could have very easily become. It's fairly well polished, fairly likable, fairly affordable, and WAY too clean. It's sterile. I can't get past it. But, it led to one of the most popular designer fragrance lines out there, so hats off to Prada. Review #170 in my fragrance journey – this fragrance I own as a decant

Анонім★★★★★

Luna Rossa by Prada is a decent, everyday wearable fragrance, but honestly, it doesn’t stand out as much as some of my other favorites. It opens fresh and slightly soapy, with a crisp, clean vibe that feels pleasant but fairly generic. As it develops, there’s a smooth, lightly aromatic quality, but it never really builds into something memorable or distinctive. It’s an easy scent to wear in casual settings and doesn’t offend, but it also doesn’t excite me the way other fragrances do. Overall, it’s okay, just not as strong or interesting as those I tend to rave about.

Actually a bit embarrassing that I haven't done a review of this long ago. But better late than never, they say, so here goes: This perfume was my first love, the high school sweetheart that ends up as your wife, and despite temptation all around you, none of the bimbos ever compete for real. The first time I smelled this in the shop, I knew: "This is the girl I'm gonna marry."; this was in 2014, and I haven't since come across any fragrance I love quite as much. It's fresh, it's a little spicy, once it dries down a bit, the spicy really comes out. It's a fragrance that changes quite a lot as you wear it, and every part of it is simply lovely. How this fragrance doesn't have as big a following as AdG or Sauvage is truly beyond me. It smells amazing, it's sexy, it's grounded, it's casual, it's formal, it is just the best of the best. Not to mention it lasts all day without being too intrusive. Luna Rossa - thank you for 11 wonderful years. You're all a man could ever wish for.

Manly woody and soapy lavender, opens up with a bit of bitterness (which sounds like smokiness to me) and keeps going with the woods and ambroxan. Won't find any mainstream notes here - no sugar, no coconut, no skanky oud or leather shoes, NO NONSENSE! Dont be shy, use it, guys!
