It smells like a blueberry pancake to me and I love it.
pretty fruity scent!
Island rebel. Has tropical notes listed yet I’m compelled to only wear it in Winter. And I’m a wearer by season. Took a while for me to wrap my head around this one and enjoy it. Further, these ‘warmth’ evoking notes like coconut and hibiscus are very much cooled down giving this scent a cold yet deep and intoxicating edge. Notes are all blended extremely well, cannot make them out individually. If I had to pick, licorice, dark berries and cacao are the most prominent, that juxtaposition of cold and warm. This is the only scent in my collection that evokes sultry, Summer, tropical island nights wearing a black strappy silk dress barefoot in the sand (or strappy, laced black leather heels and not much else- I read somewhere the bottle design is an upside down stiletto heel) yet I reach for it in Winter, as it’s fairly dense. Excellent longevity and very good projection. This scent really is a Reb’l Fleur- rebel cool/ yet feminine warm. And feel like a rebel for wearing this ostensibly Summer scent in the Winter. 🖤🤎🌺🥥🌙🏝️👠
I thought this didnt have any coconut when I tried it right out of the box but I think it just needed to simmer a bit as I just tried it and now its this really soft tropical concoction. If its too sharp give it a few weeks and it changes. It became this really gentle creamy coconut fruit combination
This is good if you like Patchouli. I personally like Rebelle a little better, different kind of "spicy" & Nude fell flat. I think I gave that one away.
It's my teenage years perfume have a special place in my heart but sadly I realized I can't stand patchouli gives me headaches other than that it's a bad gal fragrance sexy tropical...
I have come to learn something about myself. I am obsessed with patchouli. The oil. I have worn it alone as perfume for many years. (Yes I was born in the late 70s but grew up in the 80s and 90s). I absolutely adore patchouli, but for some reason I am not the greatest fan of it in perfumes. It smells synthetic and fake. I guess i just prefer the straight essential oil. This perfume is strong in patchouli but it smells synthetic. Not a fan. Rate: 4/10
I love Rebelle the vanilla counterpart to this line so I blind bought this one and it didn't work on me. I kept waiting for the peach and coconut scents to come through and make it into a tropical explosion but it stayed at a strange patchouli scent that I can't get past. It's a no for me but highly recommend Rebelle.
years ago, i allegedly smelled this on a girl in my driving class (she claimed it was this), so I ordered it and i dont know if it was macerating in a warehouse for years, but it was horrific - there were no notes just strong and bad. no one wanted to take it off my hands lol
It has a lot going on but is blended very nicely. The patchouli is strong and dirty so if you hate patchouli you will want to give this one a pass. After a little while the patchouli calms down but it is present throughout the fragrance, fading to a softer musk at the end. It's a mixture of coconut cream, organic red berry cereal, ivory soap, and a lovely makeup powder. It is both powdery and creamy, it makes me think of makeup, a pressed powder compact along with a creamy vanilla scented lipstick and maybe a Burt's Bees pomegranate lip balm. It is a pretty intense fragrance, I would not wear this on a warm summer day and I don't think it would be appropriate for work or if you know you will be in a smaller space. It has somewhat of a classic feel to me with the tuberose and patchouli but I don't find it dated.
used this in 2017 in high school and was obsessed went through 4 bottles that whole year whilst rotating my other celebs. (crush is also a honourable mention). rebought a bottle in 2022 & I have GROWNNNN with this fragrance. lasts hours one of the best uniquely developed scents and could be or should be shall I say unisex. she truly started to everybody for this one, if I smelled my man wearing this baby this would be her song 'watch n learn' encapsulated. listen and spray THISSSS. timeless, sexy as fuck & seductive for late nights. had an uber driver open his window and told me my fragrance is too strong. thats all I needed to know. thank you ri you really made one of the best fragrances of all time. also angel is my sig scent and has always been with me thru my childhood so seeing the angel comparisons opened my third eye
For this scent, as with many scents with a Patchouli note, I had to let it macerate for 8 months, to get the beauty that it is! My very first sniff I was appalled by the Very strong Patchouli note. Now 8 months after, I don't smell any patchouli. Now I just love this unique, well blended scent. I do detect a slight coconut, and some peach, but I can't think of smelling this scent anywhere before. The closest dupe IMO is Bath & Body work's "Into the Night", and won't say it's an exact dupe or it smells exactly like "Into the Night", but I'll say they are similar/ in the same family!
lovely earthy patchouli that is somehow made into a sweet and powdery and almost beachy kind of scent. i am so sad i dont have this fragrance anymore, it is gorgeous and initially got me into fragrance because i smelt it in my mums room :(
I blind bought Reb'L Fleur due to seeing waterfalls of reviews that absolutely swore by it. How could I lose? On first spray, straight from the box, this was absolutely VILE. I was almost taken aback, it was so unexpected. I sprayed multiple times more, just in case a first spray was needed to clear something out, but the staleness stayed. The scent was flat, bottom-heavy, and cloying, with a hint of sour, vaguely coconutty florals. I almost thought I got a bad batch. What was it that everyone else was going wild over, because it certainly couldn't be this. I later noticed many reviews also mentioning this scent needed to macerate. After having left Reb'L Fleur sitting alone for about 3 months, I revisited it and...it actually improved a little. Didn't come to love it, but I could finally make sense of some notes, they weren't as muddy as before. Now over a year or two later, Reb'L Fleur has graduated to a point where it's actually seen some action in my perfume rotation. My 30mL bottle is on it's final 10mL lap. Reb'L Fleur is a husky girl with some depth and warmth to her. Nothing screechy or sharp about it. I wish I could detect the peach and berry notes, but they're very shy. I mostly just get the florals, amber, and patchouli, with a timid shred of bare coconut for garnish. The amber and patchouli are the stars of the show here, for better or worse depending on your preferences. So there you have it. The key trick with this one is to spray a good few times, and then just let it sit for a couple months. It will blossom into something much more tolerable with time. I will finish, but likely won't re-buy.
Love love love this perfume. I adore the whole Reb’l Fleur line. Rihanna is one of my top favourite celebrity brands.
so sexy! great for nighttime wear. if you want to smell sexy on a budget, this is for you.
I liked the opening fruits scent, then it turned into a shampoo background with cheap perfume scent. I smell all the scents notes listed except coconut. That would have made it better to me. I don’t like the flowers in this and that background shampoo scent with the almost bitter quality. Keeps getting more shampoo-y. It’s like the warm parts are fighting the cool parts. The hibiscus and violet are cool and the vanilla and amber are warm and I feel like this perfume can’t decide which it wants to be
Just received a travel size The opening is sweet and lovely but the dry down literally after 1 min is an unoriginal lipstick scent, similar to sweet by Lempicka. 😑 I really hope maybe it’s just bottle shock from the shipment and i can really get that patchoulis and amber in the dry down later on. It’s not bad I was just expecting more since I’d read so much hyped up reviews Guess it’s time i learn my lesson about celebrity fragrances
I really didn’t find the opening of this all that appealing to my nose. It wasn’t good nor bad, it was unique smelling but it just didn’t hit. I adore euphoria and Sofia, which are two fragrances others have compared this to. I’ve also heard rave reviews on this from YouTubers! I really can’t make out individual notes. You know how you sniff a scent and just know it’s for you? That instant you think to yourself, this is my kind of scent or this is beautiful? Well, I didn’t get that at all. However, after giving it about 45 minutes to an hour on my skin, it really starts to develop nicely ! I can pick up a bit of the coconut and the vanilla and a bit of tuberose. It’s a warm fragrance perfect for fall and winter and pretty good as far as celebrity fragrances go. Despite being a bit sexy and warm, it wears pretty lightly on my skin. I personally prefer a more intense fragrance. This is one I’d reach for for work or casual wear either around the house or running errands. It smells lovely but it just doesn’t pack enough of a punch for my taste for an evening out. If your preference is a lighter fragrance but still like a deeper sexy scent you would probably love this! I can see this smelling pretty amazing on one of my girlfriends ! It’s just not “me”, you just know sometimes.
This is grown fun fresh fruity uplifting sexy perfect in hot weather. Great scent bubble and longevity.
Rihanna's perfumes never miss. This one is so much more sensual, it makes you feel confident (in my experience). I only own the body mist (less than £10) but have kept it for years, it's so versatile I'd wear day or night depending on what you're wanting to go for but of course you can do that for any perfume. I get a lot of fruity notes whenever I wear this which I love because I'm a sucker for some berry notes, the peach plum and red berries really shine upon first application. The more it wears the richer it gets as the patchouli, musk and amber come into play further deepening the scent experience and making you exude a scent that is utterly to die for. A great blind buy if you can't find anywhere to try it first.
spicy fruity floral that takes me back to my clubbing days, love it! very nostalgic and still smells good
This was my signature scent in high school, so I may be biased but I loveee this perfume so much! It’s rich, creamy and exalting. The patchouli which is an unpopular note among many actually works in favour of this scent. In my opinion the scent gets better with time, it ages like a fine wine. The longevity is amazing and it always got me compliments. This and fantasy by Britney are the best crafted celebrity perfumes.
Always get compliments for this one. A perfume I continue to re-purchase. Scent doesn't decay in the bottle which is hard to find.
Smells like "perfume" rather than any of the notes
My mom’s perfume, and as a result the first one I ever wore, so it reminds me of hugs from my mom and painting class in first year of art school This scent will envelop you like a blanket even with just one spray; it’s strong but so yummy. Not really my taste as it’s a bit too heavy but it’s a beautiful fragrance. This is fancy night out, sparkly silver eyeshadow and heels kinda perfume
a well crafted perfume. rich, but tropical, and the notes are well blended into one another. brings to mind the caribbean but at night, and in a romanticised sense. artistic, poetic. think floating around in a warm ocean in the dusk of the evening. this in my eyes warrants as a timeless classic. day or night time, and really brings a vibe with it
I get patchouli from top to bottom in this one, so much so that everything else is filtered through that note. If you are not a fan of patchouli, you should avoid. Disclaimer: I had a college roommate who used patchouli in lieu of bathing.
This is old because - I did not love this when I bought it about (get this) 11+ years ago, but I hate to throw out anything with a memory. This is one that I got when shopping at Burlington's with my sister. Now that she is gone, I have kept this perfume in a suitcase for at least 8 years. Found it when loaning out the case and... Now this is an amazing fragrance. VERY long lasting. No wonder, since it's been kept in a cool, dark place for years. I love how the fruity sweetness comes through. I get very little to no coconut but, and here is the surprise, this smells a little like Viva la Juicy Gold if it had a lot of powder and missing some of the caramel. Weird what time has done to this one.
This is a very well composed, complex celebrity fragrance. The smells reminds me of a fruity tropical, cocktail or romantic Caribean vacation. I smell coconut, peach, and pineapple. The sweetness is balanced by an ambery musk in the dry down.
