I have read other reviews comparing Sofia to Coco Mademoiselle and La Vie Est Belle. I can’t really speak to either of those fragrances, but I can see the similarity between Sofia and So Very Sofia by Avon. I own both of them, and they’re both quite lovely. Sofia is warm, comforting, and elegant. It’s powdery and soft spicy, with almost a hint of bitterness that I can’t quite put my finger on, but surprisingly enjoy. It makes me feel womanly and sophisticated, so it’s perfect for special events. But it’s also versatile enough to wear during the day as a signature scent or work perfume. I wear it often to work in the fall and winter. Such a beautiful fragrance.

This is a dark floral perfume with a hint more sweetness than Coco Mademoiselle. It’s giving date night, sophisticated women, a black simple dress, pearls, drinking champagne at a fancy restaurant. and yes the juice gets darker over time I’ve had mine for 5 years & it’s still good even better with maceration

Smells nice but feels mature .

This smells so good!... On other people. I love how it starts off with dark juicy plums and berries, but on me it dries down to be a dull, almost dusty smelling, vaguely sweet perfume. I am going to pass this one onto someone who would enjoy it more than me.

I bought this about five years ago. I had moved to a different state and had to get rid of all my perfumes. I found this at Burlington for about $20 and I figured it would tide me over until I could start my collection again. I fell in love with it! This did not smell remotely like a $20 fragrance! I started seeing YouTubers speaking about it and how much they enjoyed it and I agree! I did manage to find one more bottle and then it disappeared. 😥 It’s sad it was discontinued right when it was becoming more popular. This could have become a classic. The dark fruits are rich and lush, the florals give it a feminine sexy touch and the warm woody base gives it a sophistication. It’s fabulous! I’d say it’s a modern floriental. I could see this being a signature scent for many women if it were easy to find. I’m happy to have a couple in my collection as well as a body spray. The longevity is moderate. I have coco mademoiselle so I’ll have to try them side by side! If you happen to see this out there, it’s worth a try! It’s a true affordable gem in my opinion!

I am very confused, is this fragrance suppose to be green?

Анонім

Just finished the body Mist in this scent & I really like it. This is a heavier profile, but also very soft and feminine. You get a touch of powder wrapped around deep, rich berries, and wood. This is in the family of scents like into the night & attrape reve. I would definitely re-purchase the scent in the perfume. It’s very sexy

Анонім

This is definitely a LVEB cousin so you need to like that scent profile. I certainly do so this is something I like. It’s affordable but it projects and lasts. Too bad it’s becoming so scarce as it is a true gem of a cheapie (or it was, I should say.)

Why did mine turn olive green? Fantastic as ever in fragrance but it just turned weirdly olive green.

Анонім

This perfume is stunning, like a fruity cloud that floats around all day! So glad I bought a backup bottle back when it was affordable : )

Анонім

Smells exactly like the Chanel Coco mademoiselle line. An affordable version but I NEVER reached for it, very perfumey, has great lasting power. I have La Vie Est Belle dupes & I have Into the night B&W which should suffice if require that Scent profile. Decluttered-> S.O.L.D

This was a cheapie a few months ago. Now it's hard to find and asking price is like 100$. Just because something is unavailable now, doesn't mean it's any good. This fragrance was disgusting to me then, and still is now. Sometimes there's good reason why something isn't made anymore.

Sofia by Sofia Vergara is becoming increasingly hard to find these days. If you're lucky enough to come across a 3.4 oz bottle, it's going for over $100 on eBay. With only half a bottle left of my beloved Sofia, I started to feel a bit anxious at the thought of not being able to enjoy that wonderful fragrance anymore. So, I decided to try the dupe from Dorall Collection called Belicia. While it’s not an exact match, it comes impressively close. I still get that same dopamine rush when I smell it. It’s a mystery why Sofia was discontinued—it's such a stunning fragrance. If it wasn't so loved, why would there be a dupe of a celebrity scent in the first place? For now, I'm just happy to have found Belicia as a great alternative.

I bought a full bottle of this because I heard someone raving about this. It is not totally despicable. One can wear it. There is a nice plum note in it that is quarter-interesting. I guess for a cheap perfume it is superior quality but all in all not for me. I want something that is so fascinating that it keeps me up at night. This is a tame perfume for my nose. I gifted it onward. I hope she will empty it. Fingers crossed

My signature perfume. It has great projection and smells very clean. I do like to layer it with other fragrances to make it more feminine since it does lean unisex on its own, but it's a beautiful scent.

Out of all my more expensive perfumes, this is the only one my husband has complimented me on! He rarely notices when I wear other perfumes that I love more than this. He even told me whatever I was wearing smelled very beautiful which he has never said about any of my perfumes 🤣 my kids really like this on me too! It is very pretty and I do see the resemblance to coco mademoiselle just sweeter and works better on me than Chanel!

To the person below me I have been buying this fragrance since its release. I have stockpiled it as I think it's discontinued. It starts off pink and then turns this weird grey green colour over time. It doesn't affect its performance. I have brand new bottles in the box that started off pink and even without using them have turned colour. They are all just older bottles now, but the fragrance is still amazing and beautiful just looks a little yuck.

Анонім

I love this perfume and Im buying backups but the new botte is in a green color: is it normal? My old one is a light pink. A reformulation?

I just sampled Si Intense today and it smells nearly identical to this.

Edit: I gave this scent more time wearing it for a week to better review it than when I first sprayed it. I love the fragrances “Into the Night” from B&BW so when I heard that this smelled similarity to it I had to try it. I am very impressed with how inexpensive it is and was tempted to blind buy the bottle instead of a sample. I have to say though I was disappointed, it smelled very alcoholic and generic to many other perfumes. I got a little hint of the similar “into the night” scent but it was very faded. I let it dry down and then when I smelled it again the alcohol smell went away, but there was still a note that tickled my nose because it was quite sharp. It felt like that generic perfume sharpness like a sharp rose that unfortunately didn’t dissipate. I know this perfume is inexpensive and the other notes underneath I could smell were divine. I could get the amber and berries scent I love from “into the night” but that sharp note has made this one that I didn’t end up reaching for very often.

This is a love child between Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel and La Vie est Belle by Lancome. I adore Coco Mademoiselle on its own, but am very "meh" towards La Vie est Belle for its very generic and lackluster nature. This, on the other hand... I absolutely love Sofia by Sofia Vergara. It takes the best things from La Vie est Belle, ditches everything that made it a generic and forgettable fragrance, and adds some complexity a la Coco Mademoiselle. Mind you, this doesn't have that effervescent Chanel-esque quality that Chanels do, but nevertheless, the similarities are there. It's not a dupe of either Coco Mademoiselle or La Vie est Belle, but it is definitely a love child of both. Coco Mademoiselle drizzled in a syrup of dark berries? Absolutely divine. This is gourmand but not nearly as sweet and cloying as La Vie est Belle. It's also not nearly as fresh and crisp as the original Coco Mademoiselle, but like I said, Sofia takes the two fragrances and meets directly in the middle.

I loved the scent as someone looking for something similar to Into the Night by Bath and Body Works. I am not usually one who is sensitive to fragrance, but this one was a bit screechy for me and gave me a headache, so I gave it to a friend!

Анонім

Yuck! :( This is not a safe blind buy. I ordered this in the body spray version. I love "Sofia Vergara Love", but this one smells awful to me. Very masculine. I have never in my life thrown away a perfume, but this one I want to take to the trash can. What is good and bad regarding perfumes is very subjective, some might like this. I love sweet perfumes with vanilla, and this was a bad choice for me. Definitely a perfume that should be tested before buying, in my opinion.

Анонім

Just ordered this after watching Griselda ✨ smells SO expensive and Pretty 💕 it performs AMAZING. This is the perfume I would take if I was stranded on a desert island. Soooo good! 🙌

Анонім

Love at first sniff. Top notch quality that smells more expensive than it is. If you don't like sweet scents this is not for you. Longevity on skin is very good, on clothes eternal. A night out / date fragrance for sure. Can be cloying if over sprayed or worn when out in the sun. So impressed with this I now want to try other offerings by Sofia V.

It was a blinde buy, and I am so happy with it. La vie est Belle dupe?... or Coco Madmoiselle? No. It is much better to wear it....For me, personally, for my body chemistry...It depends, as you all know... anyway... I am sensitive to patchouli notes.. this is just perfect to me. It is layered and long lasting? Yes, surprisingly... Pretty and feminine? Oh, yes, indeed... So sad that we do underrate celebrity parfumes just because we think it can not hit the spot.. Now Sofia just hit it, like an earthquake. Big surprise and love!

Анонім

This is such a pretty inexpensive buy! It’s incredibly feminine, a true lady’s fragrance. Visualize crystal glazed berries and plums, sharp and sparkling, slowly becoming more warm vanilla’d and soft. Yes it is similar to Coco Mademoiselle, but only because of the sharpness. The rest is completely different. Fruity, and sensual. Mademoiselle isn’t a very sexy fragrance IMO, Sofia is. If you see it at a TJ, Ross or Burlington, grab it. I wish I got a bigger bottle because I haven't seen it in a while. Hopefully they bring more out for the holidays!

Can anyone in America tell me please if Sofias line of fragrance is discontinued? These are getting so hard to get

Анонім

I had to let mine go, this smells amazing to me. Lasts long, projects, very elegant but I need to downsize my collection

Анонім

This, for me, is like La Vie est Belle "light". On me, it smells very similar but not so "full-on" and intrusive. LVEB can be hard to control in terms of intensity, but this gives the same feel without knocking anyone over. Very easy pick if you just want to smell pretty and pulled together without shouting a statement. Definitely gourmand, almost chocolatey, smells designer but more affordable.
