Bitter Peach

Just a nice peachy scent 7/10

The first time I smelled this I fell in love, if it wasn’t so expensive I would’ve bought it. Well I’m glad I didn’t, because I sprayed it on myself at Sephora and it was so cloying and sickening, everyone I saw that day complained lol And I only sprayed it twice! I tried washing it off and it wouldn’t work, I even scrubbed it with dishwashing soap and sponge (I was desperate). I’ll say that, it sure projects and lasts forever. I’m pretty eclectic when it comes to fragrance, so it was definitely unusual for me to have this reaction. A lesson on not surrendering to impulses. I love a peach note, so for now I’ll stick with Me by Snif, an affordable, clean and beautiful peach forward (at least for my nose) scent, good sillage and projection as well.

Never got to smell the peach part, my nostrils were overtaken by a sticky, woody and pungent scent that reminded me of something i smelled in my grandma's old drawers, maybe moth repellent...

Peach is to strong for me,and as I said always it's not a good note for summer unless it is a little bit lighter and accompanied with a strong Citrus scent.

It's good but not for me,pass still have a full bottle of it that I Will gave to friend who loves peaches flavors

Diabolical price tag but one spray is a powerhouse peach that lasts forever on clothes. A solid invention of a scent thats a bold fruity scent. I get hours out of it and its awesome. I love peach scents so i layer this wirh kayali Eden Peach and it mixes in well...its definitely bitter.

The opening is pretty screechy but then calms down a little bit after about 45 minutes. Then afterwards and for 4 hours on, it is more pleasant and really projects those woody notes. This is definitely not a bright, fruity, crisp, fresh summer peach (which what I was originally looking for) that cuts through summer heat, but rather a peach that got lost in the woods, became rotted halfway through, but then was saved by his new friends (Blood Orange, Tonka Bean, etc.). They then all come together, rejoice, and jump around a campfire. That is what this smells like. There are some notes in the base that I absolutely don't like, but can't pick it out what they are. For that reason, I won't even be buying a sample of this anytime soon. I am sure that this smells great on certain people, but it's definitely not for me. I tried several other Tom Ford fragrances too and this house is just not for me.

I'll start by saying I don't find it similar to Angel at all because I can't stand Angel and I love this. It's not as bitter as that and the predominant base is sweet. It's the most realistic peach smell I've ever tried, it puts most others in a corner. It's deeper than any other peach smell I've tried, it doesn't have the light femininity of the Kayali peach and it's not a very playful peach - it's much sexier than that and versatile as a day to night scent. Despite all this, I'd still profile it as a spring-summer scent because peach in general doesn't go with the colder months in my mind. It's an amazing scent for people who love fruity sweet scents that are realistic and a bit more mature than an average body mist. Projection and sillage is similar to other TF fruit/light fragrances like soleil blanc and lost cherry. Definitely a unique fragrance and I'll put it on my list for a future purchase.

Smells like soap & glory peach please. Love it but overpriced.

I love peach flavours and scents, so naturally I fell into Tom Ford and bought a bottle. I do really like the hot peachy liquour scent that I get from it but it's never felt strong enough to stand on its own, so sadly its relegated to a layering scent for me. It does work nicely as the last few sprays over something complimentary, but I think with such a high pricepoint for such a tiny bottle (that you cant see through to work out how much you have left) it should really perform better.

Absolutely disgusting. My aunt gifted me a bag of samples and this was one of them. I should’ve figured that with the word “bitter” in the name, it wouldn’t be sweet but i didn’t expect it to smell like THAT. It smells like the feeling before you puke. I hate this scent, I gave it multiple chances and even sprayed it on my skin but it just gave me the worst headache. I don’t think i’ve ever smelled anything this disgusting. It doesn’t smell good on others either. I made my best friend spray it and it still stunk. I’d never give this to anyone, even someone I hate, this is the worst perfume i have ever smelled in my life.

Sampled this at Sephora and was genuinely impressed — it's sophisticated and unlike anything I've smelled before. Spicy, warm, and peachy, it feels like an ideal fall fragrance.

I feel like... Fragrantica needs to start banning or flagging reviews with certain words (like feces, pee and various expletives). Because the reviews on this site have really gone downhill. It's sad how crass and what a limited vocabulary a lot of younger people writing these reviews have. Reviews that state- "fucking gross, smells like cat pee". These kind of reviews are useless, stupid, trashy and annoying - and they should just be banned. That being said- Tom Ford bitter peach does not smell bad. But it is very over hyped and overpriced for what it is. It simply smells like peach with a touch of spice and woodiness. It smells like a Christmas punch made with peaches and mulling spices to me. It is pretty weak and doesn't have great longevity for the price imo. But if you want a spicy peach scent it is worth trying/sampling.

it finally arrived yesterday, I didn't like the smell, if someone needed, I would get rid of it

I’ve been away for a hot minute and I’ve realised I’ve yet to review this beauty. This juicy, bitter fragrance suits my skin chemistry to a tee. I get ripe peaches, the bitter bite, and delicious dry down. For me, this is an eternal joy. To parents of teenaged boys who have that stank…the BP body spray sits amazingly on teen boy skin and cuts through that natural acrid oiliness they torture us with. As you can see in other reviews this girl definitely divides the community, so not blind-buy worthy. Test it to your skin chemistry. Hopefully you’ll get what I do - pure bliss.

Disgusting perfume, I've never smelled such a nasty peach, when I smell it I feel sick and suffocate. I rarely say I hate perfume, but this one is on my blacklist.

Just got it today and the first spray smelled like a bitter candle. But the dry down evolves into something much more complex and unique. I really like it.

Peach iced tea, sandalwood, spiced rum.

This is the grandfather of Phlur's Apricot Privee. Less sticky sweetness, more mature spiced elements. Cardamom is a top note, but it really consumed me for the better part of 2 hours. Solid unisex scent. Becomes quite boozy. Bit to heavy for my liking, but I can see this being a good fit for the right person. Unique for sure.

Smelt this fragrance once in store and almost vomited on the spot. Smelt like an incredibly vile, bitter, sour peach that had gone off long ago whilst being obnoxiously overwhelming. Only wear this if you want to nauseate every person within a 5 metre radius.

This is so beautiful and radiant in heat - blooms on the skin like a tropical peach bomb! Love!!

Doesn't jump of the page when it comes to projection, but I will say it last long. It is a boozy peach for sure as you can grab a hint of cognac or rum, not really synthetic as some reviews say. Unisex friendly.

I had a small sample. Past tense. It was sinfully good! I had to — I had to say it, and I’m not sorry.

There is something so comforting and nostalgic for me in the opening. The start of the dry down does border on a nausea inducing “I drank too much last night” vibe for me but I can manage to get through that for an inoffensive fade off. I really like her and going to save up my pennies for a bottle of my own.
