I was intrigued specially by the middle notes, but they are barely detectable. It is an edt after all so perhaps edp would do more justice to those notes.. Ultimately, and quickly, it settles into a soft warm amber vanilla ..
This is a pampered princess. She sleeps on a four poster canopy bed covered in plush pillows and layers of tulle. She’s pretty; not in the regal / timeless way the way her mom the queen is but with an effortless beauty of someone young who is always fresh faced with perfect skin and pink cheeks (and doesn’t wear makeup). Her favorite color is pink and she has a weakness for fruit, candy, and anything sweet. But she’s not spoiled or mean. She’s actually pretty down to earth and even though you’d usually be jealous you can’t even hate her because she’s actually really sweet. Underneath all that sweetness is something a little earthy and soft, like she spent time outside in the garden and got dirt on her slippers. It’s a little unexpected for a princess but it also makes her more endearing. My experience wearing it was just as interesting as the impression I got of what type of girl this princess perfume would be if she were a person! On my skin, Princess's opening is very sweet and bright. It’s powdery, pink, and girly, and reminds me of bubble baths and bubblegum. As it dries down I get something more doughy, almost like sweet Play-Doh?? I don’t know what I’m smelling but I don’t hate it. On my shirt, it's completely different. It’s super sweet and it feels brighter, fruitier, and fluffier. I think my skin chemistry pulls out the earthier side of the fragrance?? I’ve never experienced something smelling so different on me versus what I’m wearing! I like the effect though, its pleasant and fun to wear. And also the bottle is adorable.
I really wanted to love this. It was sooo powdery to me. Fully smelled like my son's pamper. Just not for me.
If you're hoping for something fruity and sweet and vanilla-forward, this is NOT it. I can't pinpoint any specific note in this, but for me it's very aquatic and floral. If anything, I really get the water lily and...maybe the guava? Zero chocolate, though that might be what's adding a sort of dusty dryness. Someone here mentioned baby wipes......and yeah, I totally get it. It's pretty 1:1 in that regard. If you like fresh florals, this might be for you! Obsessed with the bottle. Wish it could've worked out!
A very feminine girly scent You can smell guava, lily and the vanilla all mixed up. Think about smelling all three of those things at once with a touch of amber. It’s very girly, almost like a lip smacker or a lolly. It’s like a fresh shampoo conditioner scent. I quite like it and would wear it to the movies, bowling, sports event, concert… I would wear it anytime I want to feel hyper feminine and cute
It’s funny because I remember having this when I was younger and not liking it much. I just got it as a gift from my work and I wasn’t excited about it too much because I recall not caring much for it. I finally unboxed it and sprayed it and….wow! It is actually really nice. It’s a lot more complicated than I remember, of course back then I was not a perfume collector and didn’t understand notes and top middle and base…..this is a much more layered fragrance than I thought. I immediately smelled the chocolate and had to come here to look up the notes to see if I was tripping or something! But there it is….in the middle notes. I really like it and I looked up the price on a discounter website and saw that it’s very reasonable price. I actually might purchase one when this bottle runs out.
This was given to me as a gift. I think this was a pretty safe blind buy from them. The bottle is very pretty. Personally, all I can smell is the white florals, amber and vanilla. It is a very pretty scent, not too overpowering. To me it smells like white florals with a bit of amber and then it dries down to like a watery flower. Not in a bad way, more like a cold pond or fountain with the white florals floating around in it.
I'm going to have to let this one sit for a bit and maybe age like a fine wine because I can't figure out the scent. I pick up the water lily, chocolate, tuberose and something that gives it an odd base. I love the bottle. I remember purchasing a bottle years ago, and saw the great low price so repurchased, recently. Doesn't smell anything like I recall.
This is so pretty.
I didn't even like this one at first but later when i sprayed on my wrist i changed my mind . Smells the same way as something magical. The key for that smell are those aquatic notes ,the vanilla and chocolate all together. Literally feels like a magic potion from the fairytales. Such a soft one , with surprising long longevity for EDT ( for me). So mad i have like 2 ml left.
Safe buy for a woman of any age if you're looking for an easy gift. I really wish that chocolate, guava and vanilla came out to play more but it's so blended that you can't really pick out any distinct note. Nothing unique here. Pretty bottle for the night stand. As far as this one goes, I'd purchase as a gift but it's not unique enough to wear for me personally.
The bottle is so cute, so I bought a 1oz from Mercari and it arrived today. Unfortunately, I don't like it. I completely agree with Hotaruchanhehe on their assessments. This perfume smells like walking through a department store with a frequent older crowd as the main customers. I wouldn't call it an old lady perfume, but this isn't something I'd imagine on a teenager or woman in her 20s. This perfume feels like something someone 40-50 might wear. It's a bit mature, and VERY generic. I don't smell any chocolate or vanilla. I don't smell fruit. I only smell musky florals. Say the word "perfume" in your head and that's what you smell. It's just perfume smell. Something about it ebbs on the verge of cologne? Almost like a woman's perfume being mixed with her husband's cologne after a hug. It kind of reminds me of root beer barrels in a way. When I sniff it on my arm and close my eyes, I can imagine walking into a higher end hair salon and smelling the mixture of expensive shampoos and heat protectants wafting through the air, swirling with the sillage left behind by Janet & Marjorie (which is funny because it's kind of weak & watered down). It's a bit mature, and VERY generic. I wouldn't say it's disgusting. But if you're looking at the bottle and thinking "oh, this is cute! I bet it's something sweet & gourmand, adolescent and playful," think again.
Chocolate? Vanilla? Amber? Wood? ...Where????? All I smell is your run-of-the-mill inoffensive fresh floral.
If I could use one word to describe this fragrance, it would be: whimsy. This is fun, flirty, girly; my idea of a spoiled rich teen, or one of the emotionally stunted women from the movie Saltburn. If I decide to drink from a flask, wear a leather jacket and a tutu as a middle aged lady, this is my signature fragrance.
Vey safe perfume if you're looking for a perfume for a girl in your life. Smells fruity and sweet yet refreshing, and the vanilla/chocolate scents aren't overpowering. It may be a safer blind buy but it's still a very unique scent. Very versatile but it feels more like a winter/spring scent, I would recommend for younger girls, maybe teens and tweens. But in general, very good perfume, smells amazing. Overall rating: 9/10 (took off a point because sadly its not as strong as i'd like it to be.)
This is an easy reach fragrance that is overall pleasant, inoffensive and safe. It’s fresh and girly and perfect for day to day wear. It works whether you’re running errands or at work. It’s more casual, in my opinion. Pretty, but won’t knock your socks off. I’d say spring and summer are best for this. It has a greenness to it that make it better in warmer weather. It’s a great gift for a young girl or someone just starting to wear fragrance. It’s a great starting point that is enjoyable while you start to broaden your fragrance preferences. Perfect for a younger person but appropriate for any age group.
Smells like the mall and is a very generic department store style of perfume and for that reason it might be a crowd pleaser. I am not getting any chocolate, barely and vanilla, it just smells perfumey? It’s not bad and perhaps it develops differently on skin but on paper it smells extremely generic. The good news is that it is layerable, also I disagree that it’s juvenile in fact I would even say it leans mature a bit.
Never get bored of it smells good love the bottle🌺wear it anytime
To me, this fragrance is very juvenile, but it isn’t the worst thing I’ve smelled. Initial spray- a fizzy peachy apricot drink with little to no depth.. a little sharp Dry down- peachy baby powder, a little chocolate and a lot of vanilla Overall I’ve only worn it since it was a gift, would not buy for someone older than 15
I have the original formula and it's actually quite beautiful with strong scents of white chocolate and vanilla with a slight fruity and musk edge. It's too sweet for my tastes but I always get compliments when I wear it. The chocolate and vanilla is so strong I couldn't understand the reviews until someone mentioned the formula change.
I got this as a gift a couple of years ago in high school from my mom. When I first smelled it, all I got was wet. Like a drop of vanilla in a bucket of water that went away very quickly after putting it on. Hard pass. But I never threw it away or sold it cause my mother bought it for me with care. So I let the bottle sit the dark for a couple years. I only came back to it today and I'll say it's grown on me but it's still not my favorite. It's evolved from pure water into a crisp fresh opening, a tiare flower middle, with a vanilla amber dry down. I'd say the notes in this are water flower, apple, tiare, vanilla and amber. There is no apricot, no chocolate, no guava, definitely no mandarin, and absolutely no warm spicy accord. Despite becoming wearable after maceration, I see why everyone calls this a juvenile perfume. There's nothing complex or interesting about it. Suitable for younger girls who want to smell sweet in warmer weather without being cloying. I feel so meh about this perfume that I can't even say I hate it, but I'd never buy it for myself. Not a safe blind buy. TLDR; Juvenile, not a safe blind buy, buy for your little cousin (if at all)
I love her and she will always be in my collection. I discovered her very late though (about 5 years ago) Floral, sweet and musky. There’s something about this that I find comforting.
When you don't like a scent as much as I don't like this scent all I can think is maybe the perfume is off. I can more taste it than smell it and the notes are smeared together in the worst sort of way.
Maybe it's just my nose being untrained or maybe this is truly well blended, but I can't seem to pick out any distinct note. It's all just registers as fruity vanilla to me, and if I really focus I guess that vanilla can also pass off as hints of chocolate. Aside from that, my opinion on this perfume is that it's just okay, it's very much like what you'd expect a celebrity perfume line would be. Mass appealing to the younger audience. I would love to wear out my decant some more but I don't see myself purchasing a full bottle.
Another one that smells like pencil shavings and generic flowers , nothing outstanding or unique Another one I’ve given away to my cousin to see if it works for her Number 28 out of 114 perfumes I’m trying to use before I buy anymore
I am using my new bottle of Princess today for the first time. I have sprayed two heavy layer of this hours apart. It is a pleasant soft fragrance on me but I cannot distinguish any of the notes listed. Not unusual for my nose as I am scent blind to many types of notes. I keep trying though and can use this as a base layer as I do enjoy what I can smell. I owned this perfume many years ago and finished the bottle then. It was worth the $20.
"Princess" is the perfect name for this perfume. It makes me feel like I'm a Disney princess, having a picnic beside an enchanted lake. The fruity notes are less distinct than the water lily and dark chocolate, but that's what I like about it. I don't mind the woodsy base, but I wish the vanilla came through on me more. I also wish it had stronger sillage and projection, and I really wish it had more longevity, but it's summer right now, so perhaps I will have more luck with it during the cooler months.
My dad gifted this to me for Christmas and I love it! I don't get any gourmand or fruity notes in this though. Just because I only smell flowers doesn't mean it ain't good though, because it's such an addictive scent. It smells like a bouquet of colorful flowers someone would get for valentines day or something, but I love the vibe.
I bought this back over the summer and was absolutely not impressed with it. However, I’m revisiting it today in 30° weather and it is stunning! I wouldn’t have thought this perfume would be a good one for a cold weather, but I am pleasantly surprised! Perhaps, it is because I let it sit for a few months but either way, I am loving it! Highly recommend!
Lovely scent, I love the bottle. It last long and now days the price it not too High
