I can fully understand why YSL Y is in everyone's rotation. It's so easy to reach for if you're looking to smell like the man. YSL Y opens up with a blast of soapy green apple, that remains sweet through-out the dry down. The longevity is really really good, and usually lasts me all shift or all day. Perfect for the summer heat, but you could realistically wear this fragrance at any point in the year. One of the top 10 most versatile fragrances of all time. I would consider this unisex even, my girlfriend likes to wear my fragrances from time to time and this smelt amazing on her. This one can be for everyone!

I decided to pick this ysl y edp up and give it a try First things first it's got great longevity 10-12hrs it's projection is medium to medium-strong but it stays consistently at that strength for a long time fading ever so slowly and gradually no sharp falloff after 2 hours type of situation and it keeps that original just sprayed it on scent profile pretty much all the way through 10-12hrs skin and a few days on most clothing so not a top note tease sort of scent if you like it when you first spray it what you smell is what you get which is great This has a very reminiscent smell to me not of shower gel tho at least not my shower gel it honestly really smells like shaving cream the older barbasol variety this has a safe clean dads grooming product smell from the 90's or like a barbershop vibe it's clean and masculine and also very basic and safe a fresh sweet smell but not a blast of energetic sweet just this I went to the barbershop and shaved I have my comb and wallet in my back pocket sorta gives me basic clean uncle smell for me at least I'm 28 and this smell was definitely present in my childhood and feels nostalgic but for an older man an oldie but a goodie I guess classic mature responsible man basic and inoffensive but still smells good and nostalgic of something from a generation or 2 ago Now backstory I've been rocking Versace eros edt as my signature scent for a while now and I love it in fact I do like it more then this scent but felt I needed more options and maybe something more mature as I'm now 28 this is tbh a great addition it's similar in the sense they are both fresh scents but Id say if you like that fresh smell but you want more of a energetic clean fresh blast of sweetness that will grab attention go Versace eros instead if your getting older but still young and you want something more subdued and calm more masculine more mature but still clean and fresh and with no weird polarizing smells and not mature in the since of grandpa scent this is a good middle ground uncle smell I guess here soon it will be grandpa scent if depending on how old you are 😂 still to me this is finally a good mature scent I can get behind

My for most people....this is such a DUMB REACH! But for me...is the most beautiful dumb reach EVER. Also, the longevity is very good, at least for a 2019 bottle. Give it a try!

Not a fan on the opening as it’s too sweet imo but gets a lot better as it drys down. It’s very popular for good reason. Perhaps my batch is bad but even with 8 sprays I’ve yet to get more than 6 hours.

80s loud synthetic shower gel vibes. I enjoy it because of that retro feel.

Beautiful scent. Longevity is not there tough. 2 hours later and I couldn’t smell it on my skin anymore. I have tried this multiple times but I always chance my mind about getting a full bottle duo to the poor longevity

Beautiful fragrance and mass appealing. It smells like a wet fresh apple and at no point is it sharp. It is elegant sweet without causing a toothache. You can't go wrong with this if you wanna smell fresh and clean. May be a bit boring but not bad.

One of the best projecting blue colognes out there. And on top of that, it also has a decent scent. Just avoid wearing this anywhere over 90 degrees.

I found a sample of this in my bucket o’samples, and decided to give it a try…it smells like a teenage boy who’s trying to smell good “for the ladies”. In other words, bright, sharp, and very screechy. I guess I’m smelling apple and ginger in the opening? I can’t tell because this is so synthetic. It kind of reminds me of a Jolly Rancher covered in Axe Body Spray. This sharpness sticks around for a while, I’m not sure Y EDP is going to transition to anything as it’s been about 4 hours since I sprayed my wrist. I guess there are woods along with spice and herbal aromatics hanging out here. Again, it smells so synthetic I don’t really know what I’m smelling. I am absolutely not getting any creamy tonka smoothness and there must be a heavy dose of ambroxan or iso e in this…whew. So, I think this is great for a kid in high school, but for goodness sakes do not wear this if you’re older than 25. But considering this is about $100 from discounters, it’s overpriced for the quality no matter who's buying it. 4/10 - go out and smell other things before committing to this one.

Loved it at first, then it became headache inducing and i started to find the opening nauseating, finishing the bottle was a hassle. Pretty safe for most people and very versatile, but i despise it.

This is growing on me with time. Still a bit too cloying for hot weather. Might be suitable for a summer night, at most. Otherwise, this is better for for the rest of the year. Waiting until it gets a little cooler out to really give it a fair chance.

always pleasant. opens with a strong fruity note. Later transitions into a woody but still fresh and sweet smell. I know this is a generic smell but hell, if it agrees with my nose I can't complain

First time leaving a review on any perfume and i have to say that i hate this one, its not versatile, its not a compliment getter since everyone have/had it, and its most definitely doesn’t have a “musky dry down”. Its overhyped, over used, and the smell to me is disgusting, as well as armaf odyssey mega

First of all, I don’t really like this fragrance. I don’t get the hype about it being so versatile and it smelling good it’s definitely a long lasting fragrance that most people have but when I smell it, it smells like synthetic green apple and it’s overly strong. Also the scent profile in general I don’t think it’s worth the price point.

I got it for chrismas. On A tester strip is it too strong but on my skin is it strong but not that strong «perfekt» in my opinion its A summer colone. I have got soo many compliments in one day. People say every person youses it but ive just smelled it just one time in europe

Clean and fresh, it smells completely generic on tester strip but is so addictive on my skin. Strangely strong projection. It may not catch attention, but it will surely put a smile on your face.

It's nice but smells like almost every other masculine designer trying to seem "sweet", if you're looking for something that is just nice and well rounded for casual & everyday wear you will like this 100% !!

Fresh,clean,sharp and masculine. This fragrance smells like a 400$ shower gel. Apple,ginger a wonderful citrucy opening. Drys down to be fresh and sharp it just smells so good and versatile for all year round. Does not smell synthetic at all for me. 130$ is a great value i reccomend this fragrance For teenagers and men between 20-29 Overall rating 9.1/10 As a designer fragrance 9.6/10
