An absolute love for me! A statement perfume that lasts all day . A compliment fragrance for sure - I bought a back up bottle ❤️

This scent is more feminine but I still love it. It’s a sweet floral scent with great projection on my skin. Guys don’t be afraid to wear this.

I'm sad to report that while note pyramid looks amazing (and would be if executed properly), the fragrance smells like a cheap air freshener, and honestly there's a lot of air freshners that smell better than this. As a mimosa lover, I'm disappointed. Very cheap chemical smell, like something you would find in a bathroom. 1.5/10

Luxurious, creamy and dreamy mimosa. I can’t say it’s for everday/anywhere - no, but when suits it shines with this unique light warmth. I want to hug myself every time I wear it 🥰

Love Mimosa and Reflection are probably the safest blind buys from Amouage, anyone who likes florals will love these two.

Анонім★★★★★

I love it so much, and I’m very sad that it’s discontinued! The freshness, the floral touch, and the mimosa are just incredible. I truly adore this perfume—every time I wear it, I feel happy and refreshed.

Анонім★★★★★

Love Mimosa is like wearing a fluffy yellow cloud that insists, ‘I’m fancy pollen, not hay fever.’ Powdery, clean, a little sharp around the edges, and unusual. Not something I’d want to own but I can appreciate it. 🌼

Well, it says it right on the packaging doesn’t it. Love Mimosa. You had better love mimosa to even approach liking this perfume. Why is this collection called the Secret Garden? Is that supposed to be an attempt at irony or humor? There is absolutely nothing secretive about this perfume or any of the others in the collection. This is a full-on, straightforward, clear as a bell, mimosa. Anyway. The opening of the perfume is… well… mimosa. Supposedly there is violet leaf, cascalone, and orris. Hmm. Violet leaf, no, nothing resembling the sort to be found here. Cascalone, yes. I want to take a bouquet of mimosa flowers and submerge it in lake water for several minutes, lift it out and give it a big whiff while it’s sopping and dripping wet to confirm that Love Mimosa is doing just that. Why? Just why? What was the need to drown mimosa? The cascalone is unnecessary to the point of being detrimental. Orris? Yes. Mimosa has a natural honeyed butteriness to it that is very much an orris-like accord. This checks out in the perfume, and works nicely. Paradisone? No, there is nothing citrusy jasmine-y here. Pear? Yes, mimosa does have a sweet tree fruit type note to it that I don’t know that I’d call pear, something more like a cross between guava and apricot, but, yes, this checks out in the perfume and it is refreshingly pleasant. Finally, the best thing about this perfume is that it doesn’t descend into a hateful and nasty scratchy mess of soap musks like nearly all mimosa perfumes do. Throughout Love Mimosa’s remarkably long life, including in the final skin scent, it stays on its very convincing message: this is mimosa. The banana-like floral accord of ylang-ylang and a hefty dose of ambroxan do a lot of the heavy lifting here to give a powdery yellow floral feel. That alone is noteworthy because mimosa perfumes are, generally speaking, very quiet and short lived, and always end poorly. Not Love Mimosa. But, do I really want to give positive marks because a house and a perfumer didn’t mess it up? Not really. At a minimum a perfume needs to be good enough to wear. Period. Many perfumes aren’t, even though they are bought by the thousands, it must be said (and when you read my reviews of those, they are unkind to say the least). Love Mimosa is plenty good enough to wear. But, for me to think positively of a perfume it must do something beyond just being wearably good. Love Mimosa doesn’t. If you love mimosa - the name of this perfume *groan* - and you want a perfume that gives you nothing but mimosa, then buy this. You’ll love it, and that’s fine; I will enjoy the brief seconds I smell it on you. But I’m wearing it, and have for many, many hours, not seconds in passing, so that I can be truly honest in my assessment, and since I’ve been smelling it for so long I’ve come to a conclusion and here’s what I’m going to do: I’m going to throw this decant in the trash, because I doubt that I will ever think about this perfume again once it finally leaves my skin, and when I want a yellow floral that makes me think of mimosa and is really, truly beautiful, unique, and is multifaceted instead of monotonous, I will reach for Une Fleur de Cassie.

I love Mimosas, but this one was a disappointment. I don't know if it's because I had high expectations for this bottle, since I love Dia Woman. I find Love Mimosa to be something very generic and boring, it easily disappears from the skin and clothes. It doesn't have the beauty or splendor of Guerlain's Chámps, for example. This one is beautiful, eye-catching and leaves our soul radiant.

Selling new tester bottle sprayed a few times asking $125 shipped

This scent smells like the color yellow to me. It's bright, a bit zesty, and creamy in the dry down. It's pleasant, but not a fragrance profile I typically go for. The highlight for me is when the pear comes out to play, blended with the very strong mimosa and light creaminess - it's beautiful. But, alas there's astringent quality throughout that just does not sit well with me. Again - very nice scent, just not my vibe.

Анонім★★★★★

It reminds me of my mom's vintage lipstick scent. So nostalgic!

Анонім★★★★★

This is a very unique take on mimosa. It's not like anything else I have (e.g. Guerlain Champs Elysees, Goldfield and Banks Velvet Splendour or Fragonard Belle de Grasse). Here it's more a floral gourmand. Picture eating a dessert of pear and ice-cream by the seaside in the vicinity of a mimosa (acacia) tree. Very beautiful, soft and powdery, sunny and delicious.

Анонім★★★★★

Suffocatingly strong and dense. But it does smell good. It's kind of similar to Reflection Woman. I'd say if RW is a light sorbet this is a fatty, creamy ice-cream version. There's a hint of Opus III, although Opus III is 100 times better.

Maybe personal, maybe not, but mimosas have always read like loneliness to me. Blooming in clusters yet smelling of hush, soft isolation, delicate powder against the din of the world. Love Mimosa is a fragrance that understands this—half warmth, half distance, never fully unfurling. Poetic, and beautiful, and not something I would ever wear. It opens a shimmer. Airy, a little zesty but nothing of sharpness. I catch a most fragile gleam of pear, brushed lightly against a green, almost aquatic background. Dew-speckled and translucent are the words. This sweetness almost barely exists as it is quickly whisked away by something else. Something soft, like a sigh dissipating into empty space. Something lonely. The mimosa makes its appearance, featherlight and weightless, as pollen caught in not sunbeam but empty blue morning. There is an illusion of texture more distinct, yet it never quite materializes. Creamy but not the least bit thick, floral but a far cry from lush. Something smells faintly of green, not of stems but of sap, of buds yet to bloom. There is something restrained about it, something that reads like waiting. Enter pale, violet-grey melancholy. Heliotrope keeps the mimosa at a distance, ensures it never grows too kind, too inviting. A scent caught in mid-air, never settling onto skin. I am left to linger in a space between intimacy and absence, dusted with pale yellow frost delicate but not comforting, airy but not free. Standing in sunlight and feeling nothing at all. That is Love Mimosa.

no one has ever commented on how beautifully amouage does florals!!!!! this is so pretty and fresh and natural !!! my mimosa loving heart is full but my bank account will soon be empty <3

Анонім★★★★★

Creamy authentic mimosa in the blooming with a touch o pear sorbet, vanilla icecream and a hint of violets. Absolutely breathtacking almost in the first formulation, the old bottle. A ueallow dream in a bottle Sadly it s now discontinied and rare. 🌼🌼🌼

Анонім★★★★★

Not worth the price.

Анонім★★★★★

I really like this. It smells like a creamy mimosa on me. It's a bright and happy scent. It is VERY strong, so I would recommend the "spray in the air and walk through the mist" method.

Анонім★★★★★

Gorgeous Mimosa scent, an absolute MUST for that note lovers. A cloud of fluffy, yellow Mimosa pollen under the blue, blue sky. Such a shame it's discontinued.

Анонім★★★★★

This is like a sweet air-bubble of powdery pollen, underpinned by the mineral rootiness of orris. The notes of pear and violet leaf add a coolness that's slightly green, and a velvety champagne-fizz texture. It's a bright, heady scent, yet it has an airy, weightless feel. Its potency comes not from heaviness but from a sense of lively expansiveness. To me, Love Mimosa smells like teeming wildflowers, mown grass, and clay dirt warming in the sun of a breezy May afternoon.

Анонім★★★★★

I have the full bottle to sell.

Анонім★★★★★

I'll miss it. It's definitely not an excellent perfume, as it's too powdery for folks that love aquatics, too aquatic for people that love powder. MBTI: INFP, ISFP 🏕️💐🌼🌼🌼🏞️🌊💄 That mimosa note, however - I wish they kept the theme of a wet, cascalone rich mimosa throughout. Florals are realistic, pollen-y. Beautiful. More of a scene in my mind, a field of mimosas next to a stream, and then going home to do your powdery vintage makeup. Not a good perfume, but a lovely evocative scent. 🏕️💐🌼🌼🌼🏞️🌊💄

Анонім★★★★★

the progression is a neat color pyramid: top note intense mimosas, stays on for quite a while, a couple of hours at least - yellow then powdery sweet - pink, or rather magenta, cause it's amouage and it never loses a certain oriental intesity then fresh, aquatic, very ozonic - electric blue awesome, long lasting, perfect progression, i wonder why was it discontinued. the decant i have will last me forever tho, 3 sprays are enough for a whole day, so, oh, well.

Анонім★★★★★

I had high hopes for this one, but it smells like the lotion in a Kleenex tissue, soapy and somehow commercially generic, the same sort of scent you get in a household cleanser, a bar of purple soap at a cheap hotel. Generally one of the most displeasing Amouage fragrances I've experienced. Not for me. I imagine the person who loves this enjoys dusty yellow florals.

I have Hair Mist and it is lovely. It works on hair as well as on skin and surrounds me with a hot wind full of golden pollen. It is very similar to the edp that I also have but in a sampler. It is so summery! Since I often make a break in parfume use for summer, hair parfume offer an alternative. This hair mist is rather strong. 12 hours since and I can still feel the hair mist on my wrist. On my hair not really, anymore. Yellow is a good colour to define it. The mist does not have a separate page hence my review here.

Анонім★★★★★

Absolutely tremendous! I'm a 17 Stone Engineer! This perfume is simply sublime. Loads of compliments. Excellent projection & sillage. It's a no brainer 💪🤣💓

Анонім★★★★★

Fabuloso!

Анонім★★★★★

Strong and powdery with a retro feeling. Used it 3 times and each time something was off-putting to me...I'll try to befriend this beast some more but for now, it is a no.

Анонім★★★★★

It’s a reeeeeeeeeally nice mimosa scent! It’s not too dusty, not too green and not too sweet! In fact, there is a beautiful balance between all those aspects. For me it’s not a photorealistic mimosa, but rather a beautiful dream of mimosa: more rounded and dreamy. Usually I’m not a big fan of floral scent, but this one definitely ruins all my stereotypes. That’s a shame that they decided to discontinued this fragrance. I would love to have a bottle of such perfume in my collection. Follow me on IG: scent.guide
