Omnia Indian Garnet

I first discovered this through a tiny mini bottle tucked into an auction lot, and it was pure love at first sniff. The moment I tested it, I knew a dabber miniature wouldn't do - I immediately went on the hunt and scored a full bottle before this discontinued beauty disappears for good. The opening is wonderfully bright, juicy, and luminous - pure sunny citrus. As it settles, the floral heart steps in with a beautifully weighted, velvety feel that gives the composition real substance without ever becoming heavy or loud. The dry-down melts into a warm, smooth woody base that sits close to the skin like a soft, elegant veil. To be clear: this isn't a powerhouse or an all-day beast mode scent. It’s an intimate, airy EDT that stays close to your personal space, but the scent profile itself is so gorgeous, creamy, and grounding that I don't mind reapplying at all. If you love smooth, luminous floral-woods and manage to find a bottle, don't sleep on it!

Bvlgari Indian Garnet is an orange saffron fragrance. Leans masculine for the first hour. After that it's more unisex or feminine. An hour is too long to wait for me. I could see Indian Garnet on a Middle-Eastern or Indian man. Beautiful luminous orange packaging.

At first I wasn't drawn to it because it's too spicy for me. But I use it with more airy or feminine dominant scents and it's beautiful

I tested it yesterday at first and recalls me as Eau de Lalique and Eau Dynamisante. It starts fresh and then it drys down. It s perferct for tooking part of the Eau Perfumee au Thee ... collection. For my nose it is for Spring or specially Fall ...

Really smells iris

I like it, but I can’t see anyone under 35 pulling this off. Smells like expensive sun screen for women.

Does anyone else smell iris in this? I swear on my skin I get almost pure iris with some fresh orange 🍊. Iris isn't listed here, though 🤷🏼♀️🧐

This came to me today, yippee! yahoo! How do I love this beauty. It's fresh, sweet and sophisticated. Beautiful citrus. Hard to find words to discribe this. Makes me feel better, uplifling, joyous. Discontinued but finally I found it at a reasonable price and took the final item, good for me :)

This Omnia has a unique scent. Interesting, juicy, and charming 🍊 s. It is perfect for any season.

Yet another from the Omnia series to try. The smell is very good but it is very weak and disappears quickly. It let me puzzled about the ingredients, didn't recognise anything, but I certainly liked it. I used my 2 ml decanted tester in one day because of its weakness, never happened with any other so quickly. It is similar to Omnia itself.

My favorite Omnia flanker. I love it so much that when I have it on I can't help but smell my wrist every 5 minutes. I have owned bottles of this since it came out. On me it is suited for any weather. It is perfectly sweet, jammy, soft spicy, warm, a little creamy. The Osmanthus and Tuberose add a Romantic touch. The saffron in this is gorgeous- it adds such character. I certainly feel unique when I have this on like no one else smells like me. If it lasted longer I would need this in my top 10!

Original review: Pleasant! I could go through a full bottle of this if I had one. Warm and yummy. Unique and yet basic. Love it. Edit 4/7/23 Even though I tested before I bought, I didn't need to buy this. :( It might be nice layered with Shalimar edp. My notes from yesterday, 4/26/23: I'm wearing Omnia Indian Garnet again today. I never noticed before how woody this perfume is. The osmanthus note is interesting, but it gets a bit overshadowed by a somewhat high-pitched woody-white floral phase at the outset. Cedar is prominent in the dry-down. Today I didn't get as much of the orangey citrus as I'm used to. It has nice sillage sometimes. There is a whiff of the original Omnia's creamy spices. Indian Garnet is much woodier, while the original is spicier and creamier, reading as a musk on me. Original Omnia is a steady favorite of mine, but I don't reach for Garnet much since buying it. Seems nicely tuned to Spring. Summer nights would suit it well too. For me, Indian Garnet went from a love to okay.

I just discovered this today tucked away in a box of my stored perfumes. I sprayed it on my sleeve and keep getting wafts of it. It's definitely orangey, which I love. I'll try it on my skin one day soon. I think this will be an amazing spring and summer perfume. It's just really fresh.

Really nice mandarine, but I do not feel it after five minutes. I will give it another try to test it better though.

A short-lived, but entirely pleasant fragrance. I love and have cycled through almost all of the Omnia frags and like them all; they make great office perfumes. This one is lovely, inoffensive, and pleasant, if a bit understated. The citrus, saffron, and amber balance beautifully; there's no brashness or sharp edges to the scent. It is not evocative of a scene, memory, or archetypal wearer, unlike many fragrances with stronger personalities. I have used up my entire bottle of it and while I have no regrets paying full price originally, I probably won't buy again, unless I find a great deal on it. My main complaints are its extremely intimate sillage and poor longevity. It is such a pleasant scent, but it vanishes quickly and is hardly detectable even before then. Composition: 7/10 (very pleasant; not the most original) Longevity: 3.5/10 Overall experience: 6/10 (a bit above average, but hard to justify buying again)

Bvlgari is becoming one of those fragrance brands that for me- can do no wrong. Sisley is my other fave brand…. anyhoo! Bvlgari! All bangers! Mostly. This Indian Garnet is a delightful little wisp of citric spicy something- a good scent to wake yourself up while studying maybe. I cannot smell it whatsoever after 2 hours. If you find it cheap it’s fun to own but not essential.

If you have smelled the original Omnia, this one is very similar, just with an orange note added. Orange and spices is what I get here with some woodiness on the dry down. It's not a sweet orange juice type or juicy orange scent at all, it's drier and has a bit of bitterness. It's pretty unisex. Overall I like it but as with the OG, the projection and longevity are HORRIBLE. This is only a skin scent on me so it's relegated to my chilling around the house rotation. Such a shame because it really smells lovely and I could see it working any time of year.

On me this was a sweet and settled orange without any bitter peel, further softened by a fuzzy saffron. The flowers underneath started off a little dry, but have slowly warmed things up over time, the tuberose is a spicy one and the osmanthus is a leathery apricot. A couple hours later the orange is a dried veneer over wood, the amber is there, a honeyed amber dusted with tuberose. Not a linear dry-down, but it does step from top notes to middle to base in an orderly but not unappealing way. A nice office scent if this doesn't travel too far, it is always safely inoffensive, but changes enough to remain interesting to me without getting funky.

Remember those transparent glycerine soaps from the '70s? (Yes, I'm that old.) Omnia Indian Garnet is the orange one. Opens with sharp mandarin peel and some spicy flower dust, and slowly washes down to glittery amber and comfy clean woods on the skin. It's sheer and nice, and lingers on cotton, but I wish more of the tuberose came through.

I am quite disappointed. Was looking for a warm orange scent, but this one smells almost identical to the original Omnia but is lacking the depth. The initial orange was generic and transient. Blind bought this one and was a mistake. Please, do NOT blind buy it.

I like this. Mandarin orange, sweet, slightly spicy and fresh, but it doesn't last long on me and I can't spray more than 1 spray that could be too sharp for me. Good thing, it doesn't smell like air freshener 🙂

I really really like this scent. Actually, I kind of love this scent. I don't get much of a typical citrus from this - it's much more of a warm scent. It's soft, it's cozy, and the notes gel smoothly into this li'l bit woodsy, tiny bit spicy gem of a fragrance. I like it in all seasons - any time, anywhere. It just smells good. So good.

Loads and loads of orange with a spicy saffron drydown and a nice fleshy osmanthus note.

I have smelled most of the Omnia line, and I can tell you this is the most faithful representation of the color it portrays as everything in here screams orange. OIG opens with a sweet mandarin peel note that quickly evolves to a creamy apricot scent (most likely the osmanthus+amber combo) that stays very linear for the next 10 h or so, which is remarkable for an Omnia perfume in the winter. Though I would say it's more fitting for spring, it's warm enough to make it suitable for the colder months too, and it's so clean and has such a soft projection that it's a perfect office go-to perfume. It's very girly and somehow manages to evoke a young, carefree vibe, which at the same time is warm and friendly. My personal opinion about OIG? Let's just say it's OK but it doesn't smell the price you pay (however, I got mine second-hand for 10€). I will use it, though I won't love wearing it. 7/15/2020 edit: I used now in the summer but it doesn't last more than 2 hours. 6/10

Today two flacons of this perfume arrived, one a spray and the other that accursed omnia mini that always threatens to spill - if I get it open, that is. The flacon's color gives a hint of what's to come: this perfume has warm ambery notes. Amber isn't listed in the notes but I swear it's in the scent. Anyway, the stuff inside is remarkable. Citrus and woody notes with a hint of spice make a unisex fragrance trending masculine. Performance is good, which is unusual for a Bvlgari O. Still work safe, though. Wood/spice notes dominate after the citrusy opening. I can't recall a perfume like OIG, and while citrus isn't one of my favorite notes, this particular scent is very lovely - not too sharp, not too spicy or ambery.

My husband gave me this last week. I have always seen it in stores but didnt bother with it. His favourite colour is orange so no guesses why he picked it :) I sprayed it on and immediately it reminded me of something clarins or the Elizabeth arden green tea range would have. It's slightly green herbal not Spicey to me. I found it just doesn't last on my skin but if sprayed on clothes it lingers all day. I cannot see what it has to do with India🤣 Well I can be a bit dopey at times I take back my comment regarding India. It is supposed to imagine what an Indian garnet would smell like not India itself or Indian cooking or spices that makes more sense now. I cannot find the lotion by itself as I already have the perfume don't want the coffret, I find Natio body lotion the Wellness 1 compliments it as it has a slight orange floral smell.

The orange/mandarin is the main scent. It reminds me of Satsuma from the Body Shop. The wood and amber notes are not so noticeable. But I love mandarin orange scents and I just love this one. It's fresh, clean, bright and sunny feeling. A great daytime fragrance, especially in summer.

This one makes me smile, and let me tell you why . I am from China and back in old days, when I am in medical school, our campus is old and do not private bath room, we have public shower house that has many cubes for people to go in for shower, you gather up you shower product, you clothes for change, and bucket, and you walk from your dorm to the shower building, and you have a sensor card to let you in and record the time spend there ,and you are charged via that card too. ,..... ok, get to the point, this perfume smell like the shower house. identical to my nose. I smell the girly soap/shampoo aroma and it is mixed with worm steam vapor. It is not actually humid, but it smells humid to me because this specific smell remind me that humid , warm air in the shower house. It is a easy to wear fragrance, all season appropriate. nothing heavy about it. it does not get in your face , its just there to add some nice element, if you want something that stands out and gets you all the attention, this one cannot, bur you just want to be pleasant around people who are standing close and talk to you. this one is good. its perfect for a new office employee. I bath myself in it and relax. the notes are in description I would simply say it is pink floral and a little zesty bubbling on the top. how cute it that.
