Old Fashioned

On the immediate spray it smells like a freshly cracked bottle of liquor so overpowering it should be recommended to breathalyze before driving. After cool down it does have a somewhat sweet smell of brown sugar then eventually turns into wood bedding for a rat in a cage.

I blind bought Old Fashioned & was one of my best ever blind buy. Basically, it is one of the best boozy, warm, cozy, sexy fragrance in the market.. PERIOD! The majority of the comments here are negative & misleading, but who cares, wear what compliments you & not what compliments others.. PERIOD! Gave me a lot of TF Tobacco Oud vibes which is another great add on to me ✌🏻

probably not a popular opinion and i have not tried single malt but either way this fragrance to me is an absolute masterpiece. amazing smell, boozy, cozy, dry, spicy, slightly herbal. got the longevity, got the projection and the price i paid for a 100ml was as low as 200$. literally a win win win win. and this just goes to show smell is extremely subjective given the comments i have below me LOL

Like drinking whisky out of a plastic cup. For the "photorealistic" whiskey comments, don't expect some complex 20+ year old scotch single malt. This is like cheap bourbon and wood chippings. Sickeningly sweet, balsam and nauseating, Old Fashioned has a strange synthetic composition that gets worse with time. There are much better options from the same house in this genre.

Very boozy, mild wheat smell & sweetness.

This smells like shavings used to fill a hamster’s cage. The wheat is a bit much. The longevity is about an hour.

These fragrantica notes got me tripping. Smelt it... guessed the notes... none on of them on here... the frick???? Brandy/Rasin/Whiskey single malt/port.... MOST importantly it just smells like brown sugarrr.. I am inspired by the perfume I bought port/raisins and oats... I will make a porridge with boozy raisins inspired by this fragrence.

Honestly I didn't expect it to smell this much like whisky, they really nailed the smell. Can't wait to wear this to morning meetings at work.

It’s amazing how body chemistry accounts for which notes are emphasized. My first time testing this fragrance on my skin had me teleported back to my university dorm room the morning after my first frosh week party, throwing up in the trashcan that I thankfully already had a plastic liner in. The second time I tried it I just got nauseous stomach ache.

Everybody is raving about the "photorealistic" whiskey accord in this. If I wanted to smell like whiskey I would buy a bottle of Jack Daniels and douse myself with it, for a cheaper method to get the same effect

Old Fashioned to me a dark funky and musty. I just can’t even imagine myself wanting to smell like this even for my personal enjoyment. Pure Malt was and still is to me the best example of a whisky based scent. It’s too linear, zero versatility which leads me to believe why would I buy if I would barely wear it for the price it is. I think if they made a fresher version of this I believe this would sell very well like its counterpart, Angels Share. Maybe an Old Fashioned on the Rocks is coming, if it does, this needs to be discontinued immediately. 5/10

I received a sample of this, I have angels share which I love. The opening of this is absolutely beautiful!!! A realistic whiskey, its just beautiful, as it starts to dry down I got a hint of orange and a sweet tobacco (even though its not listed in the notes). After about an hour im left with a woody scent, and thats where it looses me. I dont enjoy a woody fragrance. So my bank account is safe, but wow that opening is stunning. Its a beautiful fragrance, really well done, just not for me, ill stick with the angels share for now. I would actually love the whiskey opening with angels share dry down.

This is the best Angel’s Share I’ve smelled. I’m not big on the angel’s share line but out of all of them, this is the warmest, matured fragrance from them. This is sophisticated, a bit too heavy on the whiskey note, like I feel like I’m drowning in the whiskey when smelling this which is an annoyance, but for the most part I like it.

Delicious and realistic old fashion smell!! The only reason I won't get it is cuz I don't want people thinking that I have a drinking issue lol

The fragrance is highly distinctive. It opens with an exceptionally realistic whisky note, like the first sip of a strong spirit on a chilly evening somewhere in a dimly lit pub. This note is so intense that at first I can’t detect anything else. As the initial impression fades, dried apples emerge, accompanied by a subtle herbal nuance and woody accords, evoking an old pantry, wooden crates and herbs hanging from the ceiling. In this form, the scent remains consistent right through to the dry down. Longevity is around four hours with moderate projection, which I actually see as a positive, unless, of course, one wants to smell as though they’ve just come from a heavily boozy night out. This fragrance is definitely not for me, but it will undoubtedly appeal to lovers of characteristically “boozy” compositions.

Damn this is so realistic and good! Really smells like an oak barrel that was previously soaked in booze. BUT...no way I would want to wear this as a perfume...

Wow this is very boozy. I felt like I was smelling a glass of sweet whiskey on initial spray. The whiskey smell is definetly the overpowering note even on dry down. I definitely respect and like this one. Very unique but I would not wear this out. Especially if I'm driving lol.

I wish the ratings were "butch" and "femme" instead of man or woman on here. Old Fashioned is pretty much what it says on the label. I don't get many fruits or flowers from this (though I expect they help round out the scent and. give it depth) but I do on first application get booze and sweet fresh wheat and hay. On the drydown it's blonde woods, ripe wheat, and what feels like vanilla but I suspect is the tolu balm making eveything rounded and silky. I would say this is more butch than femme, and very sexy. On a personal note I'm more femme than butch but I would love to smell it on someone else!

If you crack open a bottle of Jamaican rum this smells exactly like that. Not a bad scent but not something I could or would ever wear outside

You get booze and a somewhat dry, wheaty base, but the main thing I smell is a zesty apple. I believe the sweet boozy notes and the bergamot culminate into an apple smell. This comes off as almost a cider to my nose. Warm, spicy, boozy apple. I like it a lot, somewhat reminiscent of Angel's Share but much less sweet.
