Blind baught it recently, since i'm nowadays a bit into tobacco fragrances and it was heavily discounted, got a bottle of 200 ml for around twenty bucks. I sprayed it on to my wrist and forget about it, and at the end of my workshift I caught a wiff of perfume and was heavily confused, because I thought I have smelled la nuit de lhomme BE wich i wore the day before. I sniffed on my wrist and holy shit, it smells almost 90% like it to me. Edit: as i did a side by side compairision, i have to correct me: it smells less than LNDLH and more like Oajan minus the prominent honey note. Cant understand why so many ppl compare it to herod, 1 Million or centaurus tho
A sultry solo saxophone plays us in; brass bending like a tired spine that's spent the better part of it's life bowing down for everyone else. The joint is dim. Hushed. The kind of place where the wallpaper peels like old secrets and the barkeep knows when a man wants silence more than service. A place that smells like old sins and bad decisions. "Another Tony," our man mutters; his voice like gravel dragged across concrete. "And better make it a double." Tony, the bartender, nods. Tony Laces: a man whose shoes shine more than his conscience ever did. He pours the drink like he’s pouring dirt over a friend's grave and slides it down to our man, hunched over the mahogony like he's counting the age rings in the dark wood. A man wondering when he too might be cut down. He lifts the glass, and tips it at Tony before washing his teeth in the amber whiskey, letting the burn remind him he’s still alive. For now. What was it Tony poured? A little sweet on the nose… maybe too sweet for a dive like this, thinks our man, feeling like a kid trying to play grown‑up in a world that eats innocence for breakfast. He smells good though. Damn good! There’s a warmth to him. A spiced hum that doesn’t match the given-up slump of his shoulders. Something electric under all that melancholy. A saturnine buzz like a neon sign flickering in the rain, refusing to die. Water and electricity. Shocking. "I shouldn’t be here, Tone. But hell, where else is a man supposed to go when the world’s done with him?" Knuckles Scarpetti slides into the booth across from him, a man built like a brick shithouse with a face that’s been introduced to more fists than smiles. "Kid," Knuckles says, voice low, "you smell like you’re tryin’ to forget summ'n sweet." Our man smirks without lifting his head from his glass. "Sweet might be all I got left." Knuckles leans back. "Sweet’ll gettcha killed faster'n'at bad debt yous carrying around." The fragrance hangs around our man like a story he doesn’t want to tell. Tobacco curling up like smoke from the barrel of a gun. Thicker than a confession. A syrupy warmth that clings to his collar, a spark of spice that says he hasn’t given up just yet. It’s the kind of scent a man wears when he’s trying to look dangerous but still hopes someone will ask him why. Tony chimes in like an old friend, wiping a glass with a threadbare rag that’s seen better days. Cleaner days "You boys talkin’ philosophy again?" "Just talkin’ survival," Knuckles replies. Tony snorts. "Survival? S'overrated. You wanna live long in this town, you keep your head down, your mouth shut, and your collar quiet." Our man lifts his chin, "Quiet’s not my style." Tony eyes him with a hint of sororow. "Yeah, I can smell that from here, kid." Outside the bar, rain taps on the window like impatient fingers waiting on the dealer to turn over the other last ace you need to win this hand. But he never does. Back inside, the protagonist’s scent cuts through the cigar cloud and pipe tobacco haze. Warm Sweet Reckless I should try harder not to stand out, he thinks. But maybe standing out’s the only thing keeping me from disappearing entirely. With a crash, the door swings open like a pistol. A silhouette steps in. Trench coat Fedora Trouble. Knuckles turns away and tries to melt into the booth like he was never there. He mutters to the kid, "Aw hell, boy. That there's Sweet Frankie. If he’s here... money's on someone’s about to bleed." Tony side-whispers, "Kid, whatever you’re wearin’… hope it’s lucky." as he ducks into the back. Our man takes a long deep breath and a long sigh before draining his glass. Lucky? No. But it’s bold. And tonight, bold might just be enough.
Been collecting colognes since 2022 and this one will always get a repurchase from me. Cheap yet upperclass at the same time.
My old best friend's signature scent. I have really fond memories of this one, specifically it leaking in a suitcase and said suitcase smelling for MONTHS of this perfume - it definitely has some good longevity!! It opens up fresh and green and dries down warm and cozy. For how nice it is, I feel like I never really hear about it from others! It's a solid cologne with good performance
Hidden Gem… this is a low cost, approachable, sweet tobacco that stays masculine. It balances the fresh and the woody notes well. More of a winter/fall scent, but would probably work as a summer night scent if having cool weather or a climate controlled environment.
I blind bought it in my teen age, I loved it instantly. I wear it for the last 10 years approximately. Best performance is in warmer weather especially around 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. On rainy days the perfume literally dies and has no projection.
Very good, especially for layering. I layer this with Mancera Tonka Cola for a very nice and sweet/spicy combination. Works really well in my opinion.
This smells too good. Opening is pretty fresh and sweet, but becomes unexpectedly deep and warm which makes it quite cozy. The cardamom, black pepper and basil adds a nice spice to it. It dries down into a really attractive, masculine smell. In my opinion the projection and scent trail is really really good. I put this on before leaving the house, and my family said they could smell it where i walked for a solid hour and a bit maybe. This is for sure a winter fragerance. I would NOT wear this in hot climates or during the summer. This would literally make people sick or get headaches in the summer (i am talking from experience). But for the winter or colder climates, its too good.
in my opinion, this is too sweet, its like a very sweet tobacco, spicy fragrance, have had mixed times with this scent, at times i've liked it, and at times i've wanted to scrub it off. it is also one of those fragrances that once you get a decent sized collection, you will never wear again. its okay, but theres better options
I have purchased way way worse frags than this one, about 30% of my previous purchases are not better than this one. It sits somewhere on top 5 cheapies ever. The best part is that everyone seems to like it and funny story... some years ago, I had to ask someone "what's that fragrance?" because it... it cought my attention. I couldn't believe it's a CK... very smooth, sweet and rounded well. Reminds me of early 2000s parties and anniversaries haha Excellent as a daily, it might stand out if oversprayed so... less is better despite low sillage. Considering the price, the quality and as a crowd pleaser... yes I will repurchase. Well played CK, well played. A 10/10 for its price .
Very strong smell Is for the night for sure
I've owned my bottle since September of 2025, it's a really solid cheap fragrance. It's a bit overpriced online, but at my local department store, I was able to get a 200ml bottle of CK One Shock for $40+ CAD. Longevity is decent, I can still smell it on my wrist after about four to five hours and the initial sprays do project quite well. And although the main note is tobacco, it's a sweet cherry-tobacco type smell, not the rugged, masculine, cigarette-ish tobacco you all might be thinking. Regardless of the sweetness, it's actually more meant for the fall and winter, as it can become cloying in the spring and summer. I would definitely wear this on dates, parties, and to the club, but this isn't for every man as some of my best friends hated the sweetness of this fragrance and thought it "stunk". Despite that, I absolutely LOVE this fragrance, easily one of Calvin Klein's best creations and probably the best performing one for a budget!
this one accurately lasts 5.8 hours not bad
Maybe I'm just weird because the scent I'm getting is a soft cozy musky, vanilla wood. Nothing like what everyone else is saying. I bought it for my son as a gift but honestly, I'd be happy to wear it myself.
It's crazy how good this is versus what I paid for it. It smells way above the price point. Not too sweet, not too heavy on cardamom. Super solid cold weather date fragrance. Excellent entry fragrance for tobacco-type scents. Great performance.
The best thing about this perfume is how cheap it is for something from a well known brand. I can't smell the tobacco whatsoever, only got a slight smell of it one time, that's it. Opening is dominated by the lavender, I can smell something citrusy as well. A bit later you can smell pepper and all that. And even later there's a weak amber and musk smell. Longevity is not the best, but for this price can't complain just buy a small atomizer and carry it with you, because due to bottles design you can't carry it, its either lid without atomizer, or atomizer without lid
Scent of a warm spring evening. Yes, hello I'd like a large Dr Pepper please? No ice. The open is very unique to me; it's fizzy peppery cherry Dr Pepper in the open where the sugary sweetness burns off, the cardamom becomes more distinct, and a bit of the clementine comes through, getting progressively more herbal in the middle with basil and tobacco. The base is beautiful with tobacco and a woody musky balsamic patchouli. It was one of those repeated markdowns at Marshalls so I got a 200ml for $24. Even though it's clearly an evening scent I think the dry down is professional enough for day time use.
bought this for my boyfriend untested because they’ve been channeling entrancing 2000s heartthrob lately (specific inspo: om shanti om, coffee prince) and I thought they would enjoy the silly bottle even if the scent wasn’t for them. it actually smells sooo good, I can’t get enough! not grating or cloying. and it reads more spring/summer than fall/winter to me. I get coconut and ocean on them but I think I’m just not familiar with how tobacco smells when it’s not in the form of a nicotine product tbh
I got this from a local gas station that had a bonus scheme, and selling perfumes at lower prices, with the bonus points. That was about 2 years ago.. -It's a pleasant scent but there's better ones out there.. -It fades away pretty quickly.. -No one will notice it except you.. -It's generally low price but there's currently other better perfumes with this profile, for the same price and better performance (Look at arabic houses or even some Zara ones are better than this) So, i don't see a reason for anyone to take up space on their shelf for this one.. I wore it for about 2 weeks when i bought it and when i realized how badly it performed, i just ditched it in the drawer..
Dr. Pepper soap. Slight sweetness and I kind of get the orange/cucumber but not in a nautica voyage cheap generic mens fragrance way. In like a cool airy way that I've never smelt before. Kind of smells like 50% Burberry London/40% Imagination/10% Afternoon Swim. Longevity is horrible though
You spray it and it’s gone imo I feel like it doesn’t last very long but I really love the way it smells
so cozy and warm.....such a great fragrance! smells luxury, ignore the bottle.
Very beautiful and original winter scent. For its price, around 30€ it's a must have if you like tobacco fragrances. Its a blind buy for me, but it really lack of performance as many says, but for the price is ok, you just have to spray more.
This was a gift given to my husband that he didn't end up liking (he doesn't like the tobacco note). I decided to keep it, as most CK's are unisex, whether they claim to be or not. I had never had a fragrance with tobacco before, and it surprised me. I really like it. My skin treats perfumes completely differently from my husband's, so no surprise that hours later, he comes home asking what I'm wearing and that he likes it. Suddenly, he could smell the cardamom and lavender when he couldn't before. So, it's really mine, now. This is absolutely unisex and just pleasant to wear. It's not loud, but it doesn't whisper, either. For being what it is, I didn't expect it to linger, but it's still noticeable on my skin and clothes for up to 5 hours. It's just shy of what I prefer in longevity, but I can't complain.
Great winter cheapie, reminds me of smoking blunts as a teenager
Sampled This and thought I’d gotten the wrong sample. Incensy tobacco? Lol. Hard pass.
This is really good for a cheapy! Easy blind buy Got a 6.7 fl oz for $50 and this is such a banger for the buck. I know it shows tobacco as highest accord but wasn’t really getting that. It’s definitely masculine and sexy. Not an expert here but kind of reminds me of Le Male EDT. This didn’t have greatest projection but it’s an EDT and cheaper so wasn’t expecting much. Works great for the gym actually for that reason.
Cant say it lasts couple hours, no, it lasts around 4-5h, and projection is good. But I hear cucumber note more than amber or tobacco, thats weird.
Literally smells like the incense at my local Earthbound store which really isn't a bad thing. Wish it lasted longer
Amber dominant, you get some slight tobacco, and it has this like green energy drink accord to it in the first 30 minutes of the opening. That disappears in the dry down sadly, and then it turns into a sweet amber scent that is really close to Montblanc legend night, with some Burberry London vibes Performance is weak. sits close to the skin Just a basic amber frag at the end of the day. showed potential with that energy drink accord (which I’m assuming is the cucumber note), but the dry down is generic and lackluster. Redundant and unnecessary if you have legend night or say YSL L’homme or Burberry London Price is fitting. It’s a sexy amber, but cheap and synthetic and has bad performance. Date night bottle, but it’s better for close contact because of the poor performance I’m not gonna say this has no value, but you get to a certain point where you have to question why you keep buying so many mediocre and redundant cheapies and don’t just save up for something really good
