I don't understand why people aren't talking MORE 😻about this particular perfume. I can certainly call myself a perfume collector, as I own a vast number of fragrances, especially niche ones. So, as someone who already owns a few masterpieces, I can say this one is absolutely incredible! The scent is so good that I haven't smelled a better fragrance in the designer world in years! It easily holds its own against my niche fragrances and is even better than some of them. I sprayed it on yesterday afternoon, showered, and slept, yet I can still smell it strongly on myself today. My husband loves it, too. Hands down, it's a fantastic, fruity, and sexy scent! Ps. It is 10 times better than good girl, I missed smth. in this one.
On the first spray, I get sugar and red fruits, then the pitaya comes through very strongly. La Bomba is an excessively sweet, tropical fragrance and - unsurprisingly - I don't enjoy it because of its lethal dose of sugar. Again, I can't say it smells bad (that would be like saying candy smells bad), but clearly, it's not something I could wear. It's lacking in elegance, delicacy and balance. It's a very "in your face" kind of fragrance that will probably appeal mostly to lovers of sweet or gourmand scents. As for the bottle: I love unusual bottles - I live for them - but I find this one a little too much and - much like the fragrance itself - lacking in elegance.
I really wanted to like it as on paper its very me but the opening smells of strong cherry syrup to me and I can't smell it on my skin after 20 min
I like this. It's fruity and sweet. Not a girly girl marshmallow fairy fart fruity sweet. More mature. I have seen teenage young ladies buying this up at Ulta though. It's even better layered with euphoria solar elixir by Calvin Klein. It rounds out the tart opening i think some struggle with and makes it more creamy summery.
It's not bad. For a tropical scent, I was hoping to like it more, but I don't know if I like the peony here. There's something that smells vaguely coconutty (something warm) to me, but I can't put my finger on it. I haven't really spelled pitahaya or frangipani in anything else, so maybe it's one of the two. I personally am a fan of fresher and brighter/lighter scents, but I know some beach babes would LOVE this. The patchouli dry down is pretty sexy but I'd appreciate it more on another frag I think.
This brand’s dedication to producing the most old lady, headache inducing perfumes has got to be studied. I’m sure people who enjoy “mature”/“sexy” scents will like it but shit… same as Lancome’s La Nuit Trésor to me, smells like my aunt
I own many niche and luxury fragrances, but La Bomba is the only perfume that has ever made someone chase me down the street to ask what I was wearing. I absolutely fell in love with it. Strangely, on my skin it transforms into a beautiful, clean scent rather than a syrupy-sweet one. It's truly gorgeous.
Strong and sharp up close, in the air is where the magic is.. it is absolutely beautiful in the air! The dry down also smells identical to Lust in paradise extrait!
Headache inducing. The floral aspect of the fragrance isn’t bad but the fruity aspects are so overwhelming, kind of cough mediciney. I’m surprised there’s no cherry note.
at first impression upon testing I though it's too young, girly and unserious. But wearing this once or twice you do get the layers of something juicy and interesting. Not interesting enough for me to get a full size of this
Well, this most certainly smells like Khamrah to me.Just the opening its a bit fresh and fruity, then its a heavy oriental vanilla same as Khamrah. I'm not tripping.
The notes listed for this fregrance are wrong. This is a cherry accord. I generally dislike cherry fregrances but I actually really like this one. Its pretty pricy but worth it if you're looking for good cherry notes that arent sickly or smell like medicine
I was expecting it to last longer. I love it in the beginning!
Ugh I love this scent sooo much! I recently bought the body oil as well and the combo is perfect. This fragrance has gotten me the most compliments ever and only from those that come really close to me which I prefer. Originally I purchased the Arabic dupe and prefer the original it’s a bit sweeter and the butterfly bottle Is so unique. This again smells like nothing I have ever smelled before it definitely stands out in my collection.
Smells like trying to carmelize garbage juice.
Just please place me in the "hate" camp for this one. I waited for the hype to die down before purchasing this perfume. I located a full, "sprayed-a-few-times" bottle at a great price. So, I passed on sampling and bought a full bottle. Nothing about this fragrance resonates with me. The opening passionfruit note is unbearable and seems to dominate the fragrance. Otherwise, I just detect screechy, sour, tropical florals (frangipani) and citrus. And the bulky bottle. HOW can any woman get her hands around the monstrosity bottle and spray the liquid in a controlled manner? I dislike this perfume to the point of nearly hating it. Into the garbage it went...
you know what , opens beautiful .. pitaya and tropical florals but then fades into a vanilla bomb … no thanks the fry down ruined it
To me, it smells like BO
This one is very much outside of my signature scent profile so I'm quite surprised I like it as much as I do. Yes, it can be excessively sweet and sickening if oversprayed, but it's a fun, playful scent great for summer and it actually has a very pleasent dry down on me. I also always receive a lot of compliments when wearing it.
I purchased a sample and was immediately impressed by the opening. It smelled like sweet fruit jam, and after a bit I realised what I was picking up was lychee. It has exactly the kind of personality I look for in a fragrance: bold, fruity, and impactful rather than soft or generic. Unfortunately, the dry down takes it in a completely different direction. The juicy fruit fades away and I'm left with a dry, floral scent that reminds me of the furniture polish we used around the house when I was a child. It's not an unpleasant smell by any means, but once my brain made that association, I couldn't un-smell it. It's a shame, because if the opening lasted throughout the entire wear, this would probably be one of my favorite perfumes. The opening is beautiful; the dry down just isn't for me.
Huele tan mal que es ofensivo, a penas seca deja un olor insoportable, nunca tuve que poner mi ropa en el bote de la ropa sucia porq no soportaba el perfume que llevaba. Igual la comprare por la botella, muy hermosa.
I am a vanilla hater, so I love the first few hours of La Bomba a lot, but when it dries down I don't want to smell it anymore.
The opening is straight up cat piss
Smell just like divine but with a sharp medicinal chemical opening
Beautiful cocktail scent! It is long-lasting and powerful but not heavy on the nose which i love. It has a slight similarity with Fame by Rabanne to me!
The opening is so synthetic like ughh. I first tried it few months ago and def hated. But guess what, I ended up buying a full bottle yesterday. Feminine, cute and beautiful — it girl’s perfume. If you want to surprise someone, it is not the case, if you don’t know what to wear today, then yes, a good one! An excellent choice for the summer, though overpriced.
This reminds me of Goddess by Burberry, but a summer version. It's so mature while also having that sweet, fruity playfulness. The sweet pitahaya drying down into that refined vanilla. Absolutely incredible.
The opening is disguting to me. That dragonfruit note is no joke. It mostly fades but can still be felt as it dries down into an OK floral.
smells like arctic fox hair dye to me
Reminds me of Victoria secret perfume. Or going to the Perfume counter in a department store. A scent ive smelled long ago in high school. Not worth the money
