I honestly can’t understand why they’d discontinue such an amazing scent. The fragrance itself was absolute perfection.

I still can't understand I get pink rose petal smell even though it doesn't have it in the notes interesting how powder can give you different feels and it's my one and only love it will never change gives me comfort and nostalgia.

I loooove this. Sweet, powdery, girly, light. Not cloying at all so suitable for warm weather. It makes me think of a pink powder puff. Good projection and sillage. I have had plenty of compliments. It makes me feel clean, cute, feminine.

I smelled Love Chloe in a perfume shop. I immediately fell in love with the smell. At first it was a very clean and floral scent. After 5 min it became very powdery and soapy. I have been wearing it for the last 2 hours and I’m starting to notice the powder/soap and especially the “purple flowers” scent prevails. (this is how it smells on my skin) Its just perfect and magical. Really one of a kind. I saw the comments saying that its discontinued and it broke my heart fr. Im gonna do my best to find the dupes.

I got a 50 ml of this and it was a blind buy. Sadly not for me. Message me if interested. Maybe we can swap. I'm from Québec, Canada. Edit: sold it

This used to be my only frag once upon the time and went everywhere with me. I have since started leaning towards different scent profiles. I have about a half of the 75ml bottle to sell of this version, about the same amount (a tiny bit more) of the intense, as well as a full bottle in the original sealed packaging to sell. Message me if interested.

Анонім

I will never forget this scent. Never. I don't understand how you can discontinued such a magnificently beatiful frangrance. Love by Chloe was ahead of time before gourmand took the perfume scene. Love was more modern than Dune or J'dore by Dior, Love was more sophisticated, complex than La Vie Est Belle. It was powdery, floral. It was so warm, musky but also fresh.

I have just recently started my perfume journey because I am on a quest to find a perfume that smells like a hug with my mom: covergirl pressed powder foundation, clean laundry, coffee, and love. My mom’s fragrance is Clinique Happy. This perfume is a hug in a bottle, and as close to a hug from her as possible. It is feminine, clean, comforting and sweet. The florals add a beautiful complexity that settles into the powder. It’s just lovely. I had to blind buy a 15 ml, but I was certain this would be the one. It was. Such a beautiful fragrance, I hope I can find a larger bottle someday.

I'm so FED UP with the perfume-game and the discontinuation. This was the most beautiful scent ever!

Анонім

I still have a little bit left in my bottle. 🥲💖 Some say it's a spring floral and i can totally understand that, considering the notes. But to me this will always be a crisp autumn 🍁🍂night with twinkling lights✨️ and going out in the evening fragrance. Also all the -ber month festive season vibes. It's magical💫 and incredibly uplifting. By far the prettiest most loved fragrance i've ever known and had the privilege to own. (This AND the intense)

Just blind bought this on Mercari for $16 (the travel size)!!! I hope it's as beautiful as everyone says. EDIT: I was a little disappointed tbh, I don't hate it but it's just not giving what I was hoping it would.. I love powdery perfumes but this was a bit too straight forward baby powder to my nose with nothing blended into it to make it sensual.

I'll tell y'all why this got discontinued: The world did not deserve such beauty!

Анонім

I’ve never smelt this but I’d love to smell this or a dupe. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Анонім

Every one of you who said this doesn't have violet is a liar!

Анонім

Why? Why Chloé did discontinue this amazing fragrance?🫠 So unrespectful to the customers! This is a timeless kind of fragrance, no point to take out of market.

Анонім

Heaven for powdery floral enjoyers. Feminine, nostalgic, magical. It’s like a soft fairy dust, like a comforting dream, like a hug from a loved one. It’s so sad seeing such beauties being discontinued. Why do they break our bonds with better past, I will never understand.

Анонім

One of THE most beautiful fragrances I have ever worn in my entire life. It has a strong element of nostalgia, like something from my childhood. You won't smell anything prettier than this scent. Sweet lilacs and all it's sweet best friends, so, so pretty.

Анонім

I love to sniff Love from up close on my skin. The purple flower-y nuances in all of their glory and rice come through and it feels complex, elegant and warm. However, most people who smell this fragrance in the air as it projects off of my body tell me I smell like straight-up baby powder; perhaps a novice association pertaining to the ultra powerdiness of Love. While I do love it to pieces for personal use, I rarely wear it out in public and never really have. It's an evening or bedtime scent mostly. One that I use to feel comforted and relaxed. Love Intense and Love Eau Florale are a bit more palatable due to their additional notes that tame or tone the powder down. But Love the og will always have a special place in my heart. I don't think a suitable replacement exists. It is one-of-a kind and a crying shame they stopped making this line of beauties. I cherish my 2.5 oz. bottle and will likely have it for many years to come.

I've tested this in various phases of my perfume journey / life. Always hits different. Ten years ago it felt synthetic, powdery, dated. Now it feels very much springtime fresh daywear. A good complex spring purple floral with plenty of powderiness from the rice and iris. It's just a touch on the dry side for me, a touch waxy, a little violet-y even though I see no violets. I think If I did pick a perfume in this genre it would be a bit more photorealistic floral, and a touch more sweet. This leans more on the waxy dry make up bag but still spring floral style powdery perfume. I do like it, and interesting how my perception of it changes each time i try it.

Анонім

Ooh that’s a lot of purple florals! I guess violet wasn’t good enough to be in here. Poor violet, left out from all her friends having a party here without her.

Анонім

Why on earth did they discontinue this? There is no logic whatsoever in perfume houses discontinuing their most loved scents. I just dont get it🤷🏼♀️

Анонім

Uber feminine, retro leaning (but somehow still modern) powdery floral. The florals are sweet and intense, with an almost honeyed facet that shines through the opening and lasts until the far drydown. It also definitely has an expensive make-up-adjacent smell (think vintage rice powder). Smells sophisticated but it's not exactly subtle - I often find it a bit too screechy and overbearing, especially for the first couple hours. It has excellent sillage and staying power (at least 8 hours on my skin). Even though it's only a mild like and not a love for me, I can't see why Chloe discontinued it, as it does strike me as the ultimate crowd pleaser fragrance, and I always imagined it was a big seller.

Анонім

This is an undoubtedly floral scent that, if you can bear the first 20 minutes, opens up into a soapy and clean smell. Long-lasting and sophisticated. Some moments, it feels sweet, other moments it feels fresh and even slightly bitter. Musky and powdery. One of those smells that feels comforting in any season.Too bad it was discontinued.

Анонім

just the scent i've been looking for according to the notes and all the comments, it's annoying that it's discontinued and i won't be able to find it

Анонім

My signature scent. A warm powdery perfume with purple florals. I agree that it has a ‘vintage’ feel to it, but it is not ‘dated’ by any means. Feels like a warm hug. Veryyy long lasting especially on clothes. A huge shame they discontinued it.
