Clean Warm Cotton

name isn’t quite accurate. i think clean has another scent for fresh laundry… but warm cotton is straight up laundry detergent scented. good for a quick pick me up or if i want to smell clean. i also keep a small spray of this in my car as i find that i like to spray it in there. however, i wouldn’t pay full price for this scent, as it has such limited functionality.

It smells great. In the same way that an air freshener, a scented wall plug or wax melt smells great. This is what I like for my house to smell like sometimes not my body.

this smelled exactly like kitty litter to me. kind of a sharp chemically smell (even on skin). definitely not giving “warm” or soft

I got this for 13 dollars at TJ Maxx. When you fist spray it, it smells like lemon cleaner. Such a purely sharp, clean, and crisp scent. Once it dried down, it smelt exactly like the same - soft, warm linens, fresh from the dryer. This is perfectly if you want to smell clean all day. Don't have time to do your laundry? ThIs will do the trick!

This is my out of the box, on skin journey. It is pretty much as stated in the notes. Top--Starts off as a citrus, lemon verbena, sweet sudsy liquid soap. Middle--Sudsy, fruity sweet with orange blossom and a subtle sea note. Dry Down--Sudsy, sweet, citrus, lemon verbena with a barely there musk, fern, & amber. I really enjoy layering this sudsy liquid soap scent with ANY sweet perfume, because it turns it into a beautiful, clean girl, luxury spa scent that lasts for hours!

Exactly like a sharper aldehydic Dawn dish soap, but I kinda like it. Lol This is for those clean freak type that love a sterile environment.

Very disappointed! Smells exacty like the stuff i use to clean my windows :( The drydown didn't change that much, it just got less intense.

Its very citrusy laundry detergent, I like it if sprayed on clothes and left for a while. Got 30ml for 15€. Good for price if you like citrus.

Starts as artificial lemon scented bathroom cleaner, then lemon verbena cleaner for a few minutes, next it became a bit sharper lemon - like bergamot mixed in- then briefly turned lemon drop cleaner when the orange blossom came in, ended in toilet bowl cleaner. Would work as cleaner scent or maybe a dryer sheet or candle. I don’t want my body to smell like bathroom cleaner.

Should be called Tide Pods™️ because that’s exactly what you’re going to get. No more, no less. I expected Warm Cotton to smell a little cozier or maybe like cashmere but no. This is a chemical cleaning product bomb.

Super synthetic clean smell, and it hurts your braincells if this smell is present near your nose for more than 70 seconds. Recommended to be used as a room spray instead 3/10

I have been wearing this for the last 8/9 years. It's was/is laundry fabric softener scented so great for everyday boy or girl. Just very clean smelling. I am sure though they've changed the formula over the last year 😔 . It seems to be more citrusy now and the musk/warm dry down is not as good. CLEAN soft laundry version is slightly better but I've been switching between Comme des garcons marseille (beautiful scent) & Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning.

I don't know why anyone would spend over $100 on a perfume to smell like you just your OD'd your wash load on fabric softener.. why not just get some dryer sheets for a few bucks throw those in at the end and voila you're good to go, to each their own I guess I'm a fan of clean fragrances but they have to at least smell like something luxury and unique.. and not like low-key the fabric softener I got at the dollar store. I suppose if you want to smell like you washed your clothes when you didn't actually wash your clothes? pricey... But some people might like it

Smells like lemon dish liquid

It starts off very soapy, before it turns to a wet wipe with a lemon «scent». This is not fresh linens, but a car wash. The citrus is the only thing that could’ve made this a tad exiting, but overall, pretty boring. It doesn’t even feel that warm. Unremarkable.

I just got a lemon balm that lasted about an hour. Not bad but not the luxury soap scent I was hoping for.

Smells like windex and fabuloso cleaner mixed together. Awful.

My beautiful chemical bomb smelling perfume. I love this fragrance as it evokes exactly as it states. It’s laundry fragrance to an almost concerning degree, but that’s what makes it special for me. It’s Tide laundry detergent with a lemon chemical after balance, that just ties it all together as an industrial based cleaning solution. I LOVE IT. I genuinely cannot understate, I would never recommend this to anyone who was not looking for photorealistic laundry detergent. This is my weighted blanket perfume/ besides warm cotton reserve blend, my teddy bear of fragrances. I’m enamored by this house, as clean ingredients never intrigued me so much as smelling of cleaning solution.

freshly washed t-shirts hanging out in the spring sun to dry. i have a weak spot for that soft and cozy clean smell so i love it. i think it's pretty distinctive though i can see how people think it's one dimensional and not necessarily unique. hard to decipher the notes since the combination just gives classic detergent/fabric softener. stunned that this is not labeled as unisex. unsure if i would wear this as a traditional perfume on skin, maybe spraying some clothes and sometimes a spritz for freshness. less is more as it gets more gentle over time. i don't get cleaning products, just very much a cotton or linen smelling vibe. also good longevity, feel like this hasn't aged or changed in days on paper and projects fairly well. can see this lasting on fabric forever EDIT: i bought a travel size bottle and sprayed it close to my face and now i get the window cleaner reference! it's only if you smell it instantly after spraying though and then softens up. still like it! not getting great longevity on skin. it does stay longer on fabric though. love the feeling of fresh- and cleanliness

This is really lovely and really does smell like a laundry detergent. I love that clean classic fragrences are really affordable and you can spray them without worrying about breaking the bank. Do I own more complex fragrences in my collection, sure. But is this fragrence wearable for realistic everyday wear more than most perfumes in collection, yes. This scent will never offend or be too much for those around you. Perfect for going to the gym or quickly popping into the shops.

a great laundry scent for the price point! it's very nostalgic and smells exactly like the detergent my mom would use when i was growing up. i do understand how for some it veers more into dish soap, but i think it teeters that line perfectly. it's especially lovely in the drydown, where that detergent scent dissipates into a general fresh floral scent instead. overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷💔🖤 3.5/5

A big resounding no from me, smells like lice shampoo or bug spray to my nose. Yuck

Smells almost exactly like lemon dish liquid, way too heavy on the sharp lemon scent. I would recommend layering this with a sweet floral perfume to balance it out. Not the worst, but probably won’t but again

Gives soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheet vibe but in a just got out of the shower way. I didn't expect to like this (edit: and I don't). I wouldn't full-size it and I will not continue using the sample. If synthetic cottony vibes are your aesthetic, the good news is that it can be worn anytime of the year - it will shine more in warmer weather. The bad news is that it is so very synthetic and you can easily find much better clean cotton scents on the market and for a fraction of the cost. EDIT: I tried wearing this for a day and had to scrub it. I do not recommend this.

I really wish I could love this scent, it is a lovely fresh clean laundry smell, not strong fabric softener but a nice clean laundry detergent scent. Unfortunately gives me a headache after a while because of some of the harsher notes. Smells lovely when someone else is wearing it and you get a wiff though.

Added this to have a true freshie in my collection and honestly maybe I am not meant to have freshies in my collection. It's clean laundry but too sharp for my taste. Synthetic cotton smell can be really cloying and this falls in that category. I am gifting this to my brother because he loved it and I don't feel I will get any use out of it. For some this fragrance may be great but not for me personally.

The opening of this is quite sharp and chemically-like a lemon dish soap. The first two hours are quite strong on me, so I try to spray it a while before going out and only on my skin before putting on clothes. After two hours I finally feel like it meshes with my skin and has that classic laundry smell and it becomes a bit sweeter. This isn't the most amazing or exciting fragrance but I think it is something everyone should have in their collection. I work closely with young children, so I feel comfortable wearing it to work. It's good for when you just want to smell clean, or having a casual day around the house or running errands. I think I will try the reserve blend next.
