feels damp and oily and armpity in summer but in fall it's good, warm and cozy. idk how else to explain this. kinda bitter
Smells good and it’s a versatile scent. I had to get rid of it and give it to my brother though. I wore it with my ex and I remembered her almost every time I smelled it. Good scent, pretty basic though.
Decent enough scent for all year around use. It's fresh with sweetness with decent projection (3+ hrs) and longevity (4+ hrs). An easy grab & go fragrance you can use for all occasions. An EDT which normally puts me off a fragrance but this outperforms plenty of EDPs.
Smells cheap and unpleasant. Very synthetic and biting smell. It's a boring citrus. Nothing special. Like if Axe tried to copy D&G's Light Blue Pour Homme. A teenager could get away with wearing this but if you're an adult, please get a better scent.
The drydown of this on clothes is the same as L'instant de guerlain pour homme. The opening is very synthetic but the drydown is magnificent, much better then expected.
Safe for blind buy, fresh and citrusy summer fragrance. Basic but effective.
got railed by a cute date that wore this.. he got me a sample to remember him by
i like it its a solid option for day to day use.
To me it smells like a very sweet, almost sugary and candy-like orange plus a bit of amber, with a leather base that gives it a deep masculine scent. After it dries down the orange goes away but the sweetness remains, now the amber is much more noticeable together with the leather. I feel like this could cause headaches (if over sprayed) even if it's not a winter fragrance, but I haven't tried so it's just an assumption. Really surprised by this, it's pretty good and would recommend if you're looking for something not too expensive and unique.
Guys, this is reeeally good!! My brother had this before and I used to spray this on myself while I was studying, it made every studie session more pleasant haha. I would definitely recommend this as a blind buy for a younger maskuline person!
Only The Brave by Diesel has been my unwavering daily signature since 2010. Its powerful blend of Amalfi lemon and mandarin provides a sharp, energetic start that fits a fast-paced lifestyle perfectly. The leather and amber base adds a rugged, masculine depth that remains consistent from morning to night. A true classic in the "fist" bottle that represents strength and timeless character.
My friend has this perfume. It doesnt smell really good. There comes a strange scent out of his mouth, so I dont think it is good. But not really bad.
Bravery. What does it mean to be brave? Bravery comes in many forms, and this very well applies to the wonderful world of perfumery. It takes admirable courage to wear this hideous synthetic formulation of platypus urine. It takes even more courage to be like the pitiful reviewers below me calling this abomination "good value for the money". Their wives are good value for the money and so am I. But do not let these fools distract you from what would be an otherwise good fragrance.
You could definitely do a lot worst in this price range. If you factor in this fragrance was released in 2009 and it’s low price you can’t gripe on it too hard. In 2009 this wasn’t a unique fragrance by any means but it also wasn’t lost in as giant of a sea of redundancy as it is now in 2026. Yes it’s a rather generic smell and most likely will not enthrall your senses but it is a very mass appealing smell and will most definitely get you compliments if that’s something you’re interested in. Very synthetic opening which is to be expected but I find the mid and dry down to be more pleasant and tolerable. The opening especially is very similar to Coach For Men and also even Montblanc Starwalker Extreme which were both released awhile after Diesel’s Only The Brave. There has definitely been multiple fragrances that have taken inspiration from Only The Brave and why not? This was a very popular fragrance in 2009 onwards to around 2013 and the legendary Olivier Polge did take part in creating it.
Great citrus opening with a lovely amber base although the longevity is just okay. 8/10
Teenage memories. This fragrance ruled the scene before everyone started using 1 million and Versace eros where i grew up. A respected and true artifact from the past!
It's not often that I can come on here and say that I hate a designer freshie. But man, Diesel's Only the Brave is awful. There is something about this blend that smells terrible to me. Usually, when I don't like a fragrance, I can understand the appeal, but I just happen to not like it (Green Irish Tweed, JPG Le Male, etc.) This one, however, is actually awful. (I have colleagues that say they like it though)
Fragrance Journal Entry #37 Look this stuff isn't bad it's just boring. The overuse of synthetics mixed with mediocre performance just makes this forgettable. Don't get me wrong it's pleasant and inoffensive but there are better options in the "basic blue" scent category, get Versace Dylan Blue if you want basic with a little more character. Rating: 3.4/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES
Smooth and sweet amber with an initial hit of citrus that mellows out when it dries down, subtle flowery note. A youthful masculine fragrance that is timeless. Lasts for 4-6 hours on my skin with moderate projection. Definitely a crowd pleaser and a very good value for the money. Safe for a blind buy, highly recommend.
hate this stuff
A good fresh scent and doesn't just fit the younger person, citrus summer vibe and decent projection, a solid 7/10
First perfume I've owned and still like it. It smells like high school for me. I will say, it is a very good, classic, masculine, spicy citrus scent. Not my dna for a citrus frag, but it is still quite good
this is my partner’s fragrance that i wore home after a visit. didn’t catch much of the first couple hours because i fell asleep on the bus but through hours 3 through 6ish, this was incredibly pleasant; sexy, sweet, musky, and overall a very harmonious scent. i can still smell it faintly on my wrists more than 12 hours in :]
Eau de Fruit Gushers for Men
Smells synthetic, clean, and energetic. Feels loud and youthful — like a flashy jacket on a night out.
Not bad, wearable but I dont know how often. Wild is much, much better.
Pure nostalgia. Considering buying a bottle of this just to smell for the memories lol. Was my signature scent as a teen throughout high school. My collection now consists of high-end expensive niche fragrances but I need to add more simple things like this to my shelf just to remember how simple life used to be! Easy to love freshie.
Opening is great however I hate the dry down. Many people like it very much though. For me it's a 3 out of 10
I absolutely love this , my signature scent so easy to wear and addictive and when olivier polge is involved its going to be a banger for sure
This is a bold scent. It is strong and lasts. People will notice it. It is rich, warm, and both masculine and sweet. The amber and leather are strong, but the orange/citrusy notes keep it from being too heavy. There isn't a complex evolution but the mix of notes work and lasts. It can be worn all year long, no matter day or night, but due to its warm feel I like to wear it in winter or fall. It can be headache inducing if you apply too much or wear it in a closed space. All in all it is a good, strong, masculine, sweet fragrance. It is not expensive, not really complex, and rather mass appealing. 7/10.
