doesn't smell nice. smells like spices and hamster hay. with a nasty funky dry down. just not good.
The discourse on this fragrance is strange. It completely mogs any other iteration. It’s simply a dry, resinous, and woody beauty.
I have plenty of perfumes and i can say that this is one of my favorites. Really dont get it why so much hate about it. It’s fresh and it s smells so good
Absolut hate this and all of it flankers. People wearing this, just wear it to annoy other people. Recently a guy wear it in the Gym and we could smell him in every corner of the room. This juice is absolutely disgusting and it should be forbidden to wear in public spaces. If my daughter would date a guy wearing this, I would kick him out of my house.
Upon spraying I'm hit with dry, musky cedarwood pencil shavings made even more dusty by a lavender note stripped of any other of its many facets but. Oh, and cardamon! It's almost too much in the initial phase and takes a few minutes to settle down. After that it's a linear ride till the end - a pencil case scent with a clean musk. I suppose the alcohol-free formula requiring inclusion of the usual chemical stuff to force the oils and water to actually mix is what contributes to the overal scent profile. It feels like a scented lotion of your favourite fragrance applied on skin - you recognize the scent (it has nothing to do with the original scent profile, mind you), but it's masked by and mixed with all the other stuff that has a texture and smell of its own. Just an okayish fragrance, most unisex leaning of the line but totally not worth the asking price. 2.5 out of 5 from me.
Very gentle, sort of laid-back type of performance. Smells, above all, wet, then after that like lavender. And then possibly there is something resinous to it as well. Overall, very soapy - it's basically you're lavender liquid soap - not rubbed in but sprayed onto your skin. Better than all the other Sauvages (since none of these is great with the Elixir being just ok-ish). Eat Forte appear old-fashioned, like a beauty product from the 16th century. And probably that's what makes it special at the same time. Seems more for women than for men, for me. And can be used nearly all-year-round except for, maybe, a hot summer day. More of a daytime fragrance but also wearable at night. Feels more like a cologne to be applied directly instead of spraying. Still nice to see that Dior is trying such a release. And after all a good feeling not to wear any alcohol on your skin!
Get a bowl, spray one shot of Sauvage Parfum into it, you can substitute a half teaspoon of allspice here if you want an alcohol free scent, add half a can of condensed milk and half a can of water to loosen it up, then a handful of old lavender (leave on the narly woody stalks) do not use the fresh new top growth. Add a touch of musk and let it infuse in the fridge for a day, sieve before bottling. Store in the dairy section of your fridge, use within 12 months. You now have a scent that no clone house or punter will go near. Enjoy.
I got a decant for testing because I was curious and like to make my own judgement on things. I get the white stuff is weird and the fragrance isn't like the previous in the line. As far as scent profile, I think it's actually nice, it has woody musk with lavender touches that almost come out as iris, especially the opening to mid. It gives an addictive scent trail and performance is decent. My biggest grip isn't the white stuff, or the change in direction, it's the price point. It's too expensive for what you get, I think if it were in the 100 range I might pick up a bottle. But I think the fragrance itself is underrated. 2.44 rating? No way. I still think sauvage parfum is the best in the line, but I would rate this a close second, especially for it's uniqueness. Also the reminds me of section is obvious trolling, what are we 10 years old?
"Eau de Cum" 👌🏼😩
The world wasnt ready for this. this one is an work of art.
I also have the regular Sausage EDP, which is more like a wintery fragrance. Unlike the original EDP, this is more versatile and all weather. Starts strong, keep you smelling good for a good 8 to 10 hours. Iris dry down gives a good calming and satisfying feeling. I never used the Elixir, so I can't compare the difference. However, because it's of water, not alcohol, Spitzs dispers like mists and can create nasal irritation. You need to sake the bottle before use for better applications. And be careful about spraying on your clothes, specially if it's of a darker shade. A stain of white mist will be all over the place, sometimes creates embarrassment. But a nice fresh perfume no doubt.
This stuff is aweful. You will be washing it off immediately. Im usually easy to please but this is one of the few Ive immediately threw in the trash (sample). The fact that MFK made this is kind of astonishing to be honest.
Can't even lie this smells like dihh and nuhh
Feel like it is way too overhated, i personally dont really like lavender perfumes but this is one of the only ones i really like. Its like a spicy lavender plant
Just sprayed a sample of this and it's making me feel absolutely nauseous. Smells like pencil shavings.
I have a love/hate relationship with this fragrance. I like that its unique i didnt expect a sauvage to have this type of scent it smells like a spicy lavender in a dense forest i think that it doesnt deserve the hate if it wasnt a sauvage then it wouldnt have gotten this much hate.
Super herbal, smells like oregano tea - awful ! I smelled it on my husband and it was not pleasant, it lasted several hours on him he ran errands and I still smelled it when he was back.
its fine--FK did his interpretation of Sauvage and condensed it on the way there. water-based, so the oils on skin are very evident like a body oil or lotion on skin. projects well enough for a lavender/musk scent. I'd assume a lot of people go nose blind towards the later part of the day of wearing it. linear development of scent. not worth full price; maybe for a significant discount. woody/glue like vibe when oversprayed probably fine for cooler seasons; might be disgusting for summer also the disdain for this fragrance is hilarious. the amount of people that are absolutely SHOCKED by the fact that water-based fragrances can really only be milky is very telling of how broad the fragrance community actually is. people in comments going like "gayyy" "suss" "hmmm" grow the fuck up bro; shit evaplrates quick and lotions white too so whats ur excuse for that? or do not moisturize your ashy ass folds. weird ass
Elegant. Old-fashioned and futuristic at the same time.
Let’s be honest here this shit is garbage the juice is white like why it it milky that’s gay bit to mention it’s smells like fabulous the cleaning stuff worst release from Dior
Smells a bit dated for me yet is clean and woody. Gives me middle aged neighbour Friday thobe wear vibe
Fresh & warm.. That’s what this is which is a unique/uncommon combo. This is what Sauvage dryer sheets would smell like if they existed. The spices & musk create a cozy warmth while the lavender & elemi lifts & freshens things up along with a touch of sweetness. Super comforting scent that’s much more buttoned up compared to its predecessors. Truly don’t understand the popular hate on this one. Such a sincere scent. 8/10
When I first got to it, I was blinded by all the hate it was getting online. I even had a small argument with a Dior representative at my local Dillards, where she ended up giving a sample, and just asked me to try it. She was right, I have worn it a few times since then, and every time I wear it, I like it more. It is different from the other fragrances in the line, that is a fact, but I like it as a more serious version, more mature, green bitter citrus, and I love it. And as far as performance, it last a long time, even when I only apply 2 sprays I can smell it for hours, with decent projection. I think what killed this fragrance is the Sauvage name and the non alcohol formula. If this was released under a different line I am convinced it would be doing better. I invite you to give it a shot, with no bias, just be open minded.
My really awesome friend owns this cologne and man I was surprised he even owned a bottle, it’s a very underrated scent no one really likes it, I can smell the why people hate it but it’s exactly the reason why for me it smells super good, it’s a very dry scent it’s not supposed to be sweet or anything but the ruggedness for a non alcohol perfume I like, it’s definitely layering worthy for sure I would love to own a bottle to layer ontop and stuff.

There seems to be some kind of revisionist movement forming around this fragrance. I understand the hobby is very personal and subjective, but I just can't wrap my head around anybody sincerely enjoying this.
I think people really overreact because of the color of the juice and the opening (which I can not lie the opening does not smell good) but this is a really good fragrance for what it is! It’s water based, it’s innovative, and once it dries down it smells quite nice and masculine.
No question, this is one of Dior's best creations. Sprayed on my skin at store, 7 minutes later a women said I smelled fantastic and demanded I tell her what I had on. Don't be afraid of this white milk looking juice. Made by the best MFK 10/10 Hidden Gem
This Designer perfume honestly cooked cause I've sniff many perfume that dupe this Sauvage and the accuracy is fucking 90% above
The best sauvage. The biggest problem is that they released it as a sauvage flanker with an idea (water based) while sauvage fans don’t know what water based means and they want an ambroxan bomb. Dior should release this as its own scent. Very classy masculine fragrance 10/10.
