Azzure Oud

Beast mode performance. Woody and quite heavy, definitely not for everyone. A masculine scent without a doubt. Lasts 10 hours on me and is very noticeable, gets compliments. I will definitely buy it again.

I’m not gonna lie just based on the reviews I seen on YouTube. I thought this was gonna be a projection in longevity monster. It’s not maybe it needs to macerate, but mine only lasts maybe an hour or two and it doesn’t really project that far. I’m gonna let it sit and hopefully it gets better.

Wonderful, really close to oud maracuja maybe even more passion fruit than the og. The oud and fruit can make a gasoil-like scent but its really good if you like those type of fragrance

I really can’t believe this exists. I’m not an Oud Maracuja superfan but I can see its merits. This, however, is beyond offensive. Nuclear performance and an appalling scent of bitter woods and burnt rubber. Save your money, save the noses of those around you. F-

A beautiful scent but I've really got to be in the mood to wear it. I am a woman and I find this totally unisex! It's loud and in your face and I wouldn't personally wear it in high heat as it can become cloying fast! The OG is more refined. This is much more loud and punchy and amplified and for the money you really cannot go wrong.

Did not wanted to go to work. Sprayed 7 sprays of this. Went to work. They sent me home early, great success👍. It smells amazing but man if you spray a lot of this people will have strong opinions about you. needs a month or two of maturation because at first the oud punched trough hard. Now it’s very balanced.

I enjoy the heaviness of the bottle, and the box is nice, at least not made from the cheapest materials, and neither is the product itself. it's really good quality for the price. is there a point when some of these houses reevaluate their business model and consider to something other than highway robbery of their customers, when stuff like this exists? the problem with the shameless 2000% markup is that it's shameless. let's start shaming. anyways with a month of shelf rest it's as strong as, if not stronger than, oud maracuja in terms of longevity and projection. Similarity is 94-96% on point, maybe a hint more leathery overall and less punchy passionfruit at the open, but as far as a dupe goes, as French Avenue has been demonstrating, they're about as good as it gets.

idk what even is this one. i kinda like it as ot smells luxurious and rich but damn im afraid to inhale it because its so nuclear i can taste it in my mouth. kinda synthetic, sharp, sweet passionfruit / oud combo. honestly idk where would i wear this.

I got it because of sampling oud maracuja,overall I understand arabic perfumery and this wasn’t disappointing . Oud maracuja is still richer and lil different but they’re route is kind of same. Heavy and strong , not for kids . Oudy , not for Versace eue de fraiche’s. Vibe is not dark because of Passion fruit but its a punchy smell. I see some of blue talisman look here. I got compliments from men and women wearing it in cloudy windy days. (Double time from one women in nice 3 months time period) (not gf) Be careful with it and wear black or Dark Blue . Don’t scream , be confident. 2-4 sprays is enough. Longlasting!

My sample got a bit more mature and very nice, very, very masculine. You have to like oud. If you go to Harrods frequently, that's the smell you will get there. I would definitely recommend for man, specially during the winter. The passion fruit gives a freshness to strong oud smell.

smells super sharp,u have to like Oud i don't get the passionfruit i love it tho,but u have to be in a very specific mood to wear it lol

I was hoping it was closer to Oud Maracuja, it's okay but OM is way better. Looks like I'm going to have to crack my piggy bank open, sometimes there is no substitute for the original.

More Oudy than Oud Maracuja, especially the opening. This is a dirtier and more harsh oud which makes it less wearable for most people. I like OM and Zara Blackberry Oud better, because they are fruitier and smoother. But the core DNA is still here and it’s affordable.

Phantom elixir?

I got a free sample of this the other day and this has potential. Any time I see passion fruit flavored stuff it's my obligation to try stuff out and as unique as this is, it's not for me. I wore it twice and that was enough for a lifetime. This is very tropical, to the point you could probably drink it if was on the menu at a bar or restaurant. The star of the show is absolutely the passion fruit. If you don't like the smell of them you're not going to like this. As it dries down it starts to smell more like what I imagine is the hard shell of one. This is sour and pungent in a good way and of course there is a middle eastern undertone in this that, thankfully, slowly starts to fade away as this reaches the dry down. The middle eastern under tone is far from a burnt papery cedar / incense mixture and the oud isn't going in a barnyard direction but it certainly is noticable. Age wise 25 and up, this could be unisex with the right amount of confidence. It's far from some ultra sugary clubbing fragrance a kid with an awful haircut will wear. You could wear this almost any time of the year as you've got a mixture of a tropical summer time type scent profile and yet there's some darker, warmer parts that would make this wearable in the colder months. Based on what I've tried, imagine Parfums De Marley Perseus but a darker, night time version of it that has passion fruit instead of the citrus in Perseus. Or a more tropical take on something like Terre D'Hermes pure parfum. Both with a moderate amount of this middle eastern touch to it.

Fruity oud scent. I see many bad reviews for this however I very much enjoy this scent. It may be because I bought it off someone who had this for over a year so the bottle is fully macerated. I do not get a burnt rubber or animalistic notes some people get. I get a strong passionfruit in the opening that last throughout the whole wear. The oud, leather and slight sweetness in the dry down is awesome. This is extremely close to the OG, however I find this fragrance a bit more bright, possibly easier to wear but at the same time less complex. Performance is very good, I find myself wearing around 2 sprays, super long lasting and projecting (although reading stuff online I expected more beast mode, almost happy to find that not the case). I highly recommend this if you are looking fot a fruity oud scent or are a fan of oud maracuja and don't want to spend the high price point.

It seems I was bitten by the oud bug and I now crave this smell 24/7. The oud is pungent and sticky but a bright, tart passionfruit note reaches through. Now I am dying to smell the OG. The only thing about this is that I'm not sure where I would wear this to.

I love everything about this fragrance! The passion fruit is strong and the oud is pleasant to me. I can already smell vanilla as well and it smells so good all together. Now don’t get it twisted, this is an Oud fragrance. Very strong and invasive. If you haven’t smelt Oud, move on! 10/10 for me!!

I tried this as a decant and I will preface that I am generally not a fan of oud. This to me is a punch in the face of oud with a hint of rose, a bit animalic. A family member smelled it and did like it. Performance is crazy as it lasted 12 hours and projects hard, a bit inherent to the notes. It smell of good quality, I just do not like this type of scent profile at all. I would not get a full bottle of this after trying.

smells smooth, rich, and slightly sweet with a really nice woody oud vibe. It has that typical Arabic perfume style — bold, warm, and luxurious without being too harsh or smoky. Strong performance and great for evenings or cooler weather. Overall, a solid modern oud fragrance.

Honestly I find the OG more pleasant than this. The oud in this turns animalic on my skin which doesn’t happen with the OG. I’ll stick to the OG and Exotic Oud, a better dupe than this.

I got a 2ml decant of Maison Crivelli Oud Maracuja in the last few weeks and I've loved it, I've gone through more than half of it already. I adore TF Ombre Leather, but I could never be a fan of fruity leathers like Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, PDM Godolphin or Rasasi La Yuqawam. Turns out I just don't like the raspberry. Today I got to sample this in a local shop and it does a few things that I think make it a little more 'wearable'. I liken this scent profile between Oud Maracuja and Azzure Aoud to the Red Bull Tropical in the yellow can, caffeine included, with a leathery depth that's sports car crisp but a little skanky and dirty sexy. Oud Maracuja is like your third drink of the night, that Red Bull Tropical's citric acid is going to burn with on your tongue, and you're going until the morning. I think Azzure Oud is a bit more sociable and friendlier, like it's served on ice in a glass. It's still got some dirtiness to it, but it's a very pleasing alternative to 'jammy' or 'citrusy' leathers or while taking a bit more of an ambitious animalic bite. I find it also has a bit less oud and a bit more leather compared to Oud Maracuja, though its gains are more in the cleaner presenting half of the leather accord. It's not playing it safe, but its not as provocative as Oud Maracuja. Longevity is incredible and potent, equal to Oud Maracuja but perhaps muskier in the driest hours, you might get hit some stank when you wake up if you apply this in the evening. Honestly, I think a lot of debate around this fragrance is people blind buying this after enjoying Liquid Brun, and not knowing what they got themselves into. It's definitely more of a thrillseeker's blend, it's quite electric and energizing, and it's not for everyone. Certainly is for me though. I'm really curious to see how this plays with my taste in high heat because this speaks much more to my warm weather interests than cool. This also makes me really want to see someone come out with a prickly pear leather (perhaps with a bit of lemon in the top).

Like many other reviewers have mentioned, the first time trying this is the worst. Give it time, let it breathe and you'll have something very few friends/family/co-workers will ever have smelled! The passion fruit scent mixed with oud is actually fantastic - if you like either of those two notes. Yes, it's powerful and it projects like a freight train - go easy with it! The first time I wore this to my job was a disaster, people were complaining of a very strong and unpleasant smell but that's because I over-sprayed it. The next time I sprayed only 2-3 times and there were compliments abound, so definitely use this with caution.

When I first got it I honestly did not like the smell. It was too harsh, kinda like farm smelling to me. I left it macerate for like a month, spraying ocasionally as I thought the Oud was the main problem for not liking the fragrance. 1 month later I LOVE IT. I gotta say, its not a compliment getter fragrance at least for me. People that normally like my perfumes did not like this one, they said that i smelled weird. Try a decanter of this or Oud Maracuja by Maison Crivelli at first. Its a really hard blind buy, but if you like the decanter and dont really care about getting compliments, get this one. Nuclear projection, 12hr+ duration and a unique smell thats one of the best perfumes ive ever had.

Okay, All these reviews of this fragrance are complete bull. If you're Arab, or have been exposed to their culture, you'd know that Oud is a vital point of their culture. Whether it's bakhoor, attars or perfumes, you name it. Now, im not going to discriminate, but all these reviews saying that it smells like ''burnt-rubber'' clearly aren't from an Arab or South West Asian background. They haven't handled real oud lol. And it goes for every fragrance with oud. I guarantee you there'll be someone who says the classic ''rubber'' claim. Now enough background talk, let's get into the fragrance. Azzure Aoud got rid of the initial roughness of Oud Maracuja and amped up the passionfruit and fruity notes by a bit more to make it appeal more. It is a 96% clone of Oud Maracuja. It opens up with the iconic passionfruit note, then the saffron, the oud and leather. From there, the oud and leather blend together to make the base of the fragrance, making it a bit more wearable, with a slight tone of the initial rose and tropical notes at the background. This perfume is NOT blind-buy safe at all. It is NOT mass appealing, as I said, it's a very, very subjective fragrance. This fragrance in my opinion is to be used as a personal scent.It is also VERY strong, so don't spray more than 4 or even being generous, keep It at 3. For me, it'd be a 9.5/10.

Azzure Oud by French Avenue is a unique take on the 'Blue' fragrance DNA but with an Arabic twist. While the passionfruit in the opening is very tropical and fresh, it quickly transitions into a more masculine leather and oud base. If you enjoy scents that evolve from fruity to woody, this is a great budget-friendly option for evening wear.
