Tested this years ago while being a student. This was love at first sniff. Nobly sweet, deep, intriguing, sexy - these are my associations with it. Unfortunately, I was on a tight budget at that time, so I didn't have the opportunity to buy this scent. And now there are no trustworthy perfume dealers in my country that can sell an authentic bottle. So this scent is a distant, unreachable memory for me that I deeply long to recognize in other perfumes...

I have a brand new, sealed bottle for sale in Australia.

@moonshine_strawberries how can you say it’s not worth it (or even review it for that matter) when you’ve only tried the dupe? 🤦♀️ So-called dupes and knock-offs are NOT the exact same thing. I’ve honestly never smelled a single “dupe” that was actually a perfect 100% dupe in my decades of perfume collecting. You certainly can’t rate the original based off a dupe.

One of the best perfume i ever had, very sensual, i feel like I'm on the top of the world when i wear it. Best Armani code ever.

I was just about to say - why do they discontinue the ones we love, but another reviewer beat me to it. It really is sad. I only had the chance to get a tiny tester vial. A few drops left and I treasure it. Its delicious, cozy and sensual.

If someone loves and likes this, but unfortunately can't get it, there is a dupe called Ardagio No More The Same – Eau de Parfum by JFenzi. It is 100% identical. I just got it today and it lasted for 5 hours straight.

Why they always discontinue the fragrances that everyone loves? this was the best winter nightout parfume , it lasted on the skin for hours, on the clothes for days. Feeling sad that i don't have this anymore.

I had wanted this for a long time. I finally found a half bottle secondhand and bought it blindly. And wow, this is mostly orange blossom. I was expecting more almond milk, suede, and leather. In the opening, it smelled like Libre Le Parfum and Jean Paul Gaultier - Classique Essence de Parfum (im guessing it's from the orange blossom) . I don’t regret buying it, but I’m a little disappointed because this wasn’t the scent I had imagined. Edit 1 : Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long on my skin — it turns into a skinscent after about an hour and a half :( Edit 2 : The opening is so powerful that once it settles, you feel like the scent is gone. In reality, your nose has adapted, but others can still smell it

While searching I found a valuable bit of information... mirisperfume.com/products/miris-perfume-oil-no-29663-impression-of-code-cashmere-women-roll-on-alcohol-free-0-34-fl-oz-10-ml?_pos=8&_sid=88973cddd&_ss=r I get the feeling this is as close to the original that we'll get without sourcing a bottle on Ebay....ugh.

Hugging someone you love, in a bottle. Bold and nutty version of Armani Code. I don't like to categorize perfumes with gender, age, seasons, but all we do. A beast for a cold winter night.

I absolutely love this perfume. It’s such a shame it’s discontinued. Code Cashmere is a creamy, ambery dream. It’s warm, elegant, and so classy. Perfect for autumn and winter. This stuff lasts forever on my skin and projects like crazy, one of the few fragrances that actually sticks around for days. I wore it mostly for nights out or dates. It’s cozy but powerful, and it always makes a statement.

Imo this is a weird one. Opens with a blast of syrupy sweet orange blossom & jasmine paired with powder & almond. Once this dries down, I almost get a root beer/licorice vibe. I like the opening, but overall not for me as I found it quite cloying.

Анонім

I actually enjoy this compared to the original. It’s wearable, more feminine. Something leans masculine in both the original and cashmere version, and because it reminds me of the original too much, it’s not a love for me. 5/10.

I like this quite a bit. Sad to see it discontinued. Reminds me a bit of Armani Si Fiori.

I've done a full 360 on this fragrance. Loved it when I bought it years ago but I never reached for it. I decided to wear it one last time and got strong grape soda vibes. I decided to declutter it, even listed it online for sale. While waiting for itto sell, I tried it AGAIN. This time it smelled a lot like L'Interdit Rouge which I also had but decluttered and sold. Long story short, this is a less obnoxious version of L'Interdit Rouge. Cashmere doesn't have that spicy, sour ginger accord and it has that creamy almond base. I like this a lot better than L'Interdit. Still not a love for me (I LOVE Code OG) but I may hang on to it a bit longer.

I get iris and patchouli in a lovely mix with poudre notes. It lasts all day and it slowly evolves into a poudre fragrance

Lo olí hace años me gustó, pero no lo compré, porque? No lo se! Y ahora me arrepiento. Si bien me sirvió de consuelo, fue hacerme de alien... nimodo toca esperar algún dupe arabe y ya. Y créanme que si la comprare.

Sweet and powdery. Doesn't remind me of anything in particular but it's nice.

Got to try this one today, & it's really nice! "Cashmere" is definitely a good way to describe it, it's so soft & cozy! This opens with a bouquet of white & purple flowers with almond. As it dries down, the florals soften & the leather/suede get to shine through. I can definitely agree with the sentiment that the jasmine in here is very similar to the one present in Mugler's Alien, however overall they aren't the same scent.

The way it stays in my nose after I sniff it for such long time, allowing you to reflect on it or bring up memories is incredible. Although sometimes I think it reminds me of a bathroom cleaning agent, but not in a bad way lol. I remember spending hours in a department store choosing a perfume for myself for my birthday. I just moved in to a foreign country, knew no one, and embarked on a new journey. Smelling this perfume now I bring back those memories of a new start in my life. It was the best present I ever bought to myself, and I still own around 1 mL of that stuff. My heart was broken when I learned from the comments it was discontinued.

…just sniffing some of my perfume collection today and came across Code Cashmere. It’s really a beautiful scent, and actually reminds me of diet Dr. Pepper. Belongs in the same family as Alien Essence Absolu although it’s not a dupe. To me that one smells like vanilla Dr. Pepper.

Best from Armani perfumes, superior to even their most hyped “private line” rouge malachite. Not sure why they discontinued… I used to get so many compliments. A jammy orange blossom, with almond and a colgoney vibe while remaining sweet. It was heavenly. Anyways tanger by ormonde Jayne is the closest thing I’ve found to this. The notes might not look the same and the fragrantica reviews seem completely different, but I’m very experienced with both fragrances. Try that if you cannot find a bottle of this. It’s not exact, it more unisex but same vibe. I would go as far as to layer tanger with girl of now by Ellie Saab and u would get the scent even more similar.

Oh my… They were actually able to make the original better with this one. The OG Code is my signature, and out of curiosity I got a sample of Cashmere. It’s divine, and I wish I hadn’t missed this flanker when it came out. It’s still Code, but smokier and sweeter, as if it were crossed with just a dash of Hypnotic Poison. Perfection.

Анонім

I got my “version” of this from a company called MIRIS because it’s been discontinued so long there’s no good way to sample it. Initially it was super sweet and smelled like a bath & body lotion a freshman in high school would receive as a stocking stuffer. But it evolved & I’m really into it. No perfume has reminded me as much of music festivals as this. Patchouli notes alone never stir up that memory, nor incense notes. But maybe it’s the combo, & I think maybe it’s the most “accurate” insence note I’ve smelled. There’s something about its sweetness that adds to bringing up that memory too, & I can’t quite put my finger on it. All in all this is beautiful & unique, & sexy in a classy way. Not worth what it goes for on eBay now but definitely worth buying a dupe of!

I agree with brendajoyce. This has a very similar jasmine to Alien. Though this fragrance feels more nuanced. This is a sweet and creamy jasmine with an edge from the leather/suede in the dry down. I love both Alien and Code Cashmere and I think they differ enough to warrant owning both. Edit: After wearing this again for the first time in awhile, I forgot how much I love the incense in the dry down. It is the perfect amount of spicy/earthiness mixed in with the softness of the almond milk and jasmine. Smells like someone wearing a beautiful ultra-feminine perfume in a metaphysical store lol. Love love love.

This definitely has an Alien vibe. I used to wear Alien quite a few years ago, and it’s been years since I smelled it. But as soon as I sniffed Code Cashmere the scent memory of Alien came back to me clearly. I didn’t remember the perfumer for either, so on a hunch, I checked. And sure enough, Dominique Ropion helped to create both. It’s not as strong and almost overwhelming as Alien. I quit wearing Alien when I got pregnant and nauseous, and unfortunately that completely ruined Alien for me forever. Any woman who’s ever been pregnant and nauseous will know what I’m talking about.😏 But cashmere is softer and enough of its own scent , that I can enjoy it, even though I catch whiffs of Alien. Cashmere was a recent blind buy that turned out really well for me.

Regarding the comment below, I love this fragrance but I really don’t like l’interdit rouge.

Анонім

To my nose, this one bears strong similarities with Givenchy's l'Interdit Rouge - both open with a strong grapey jasmine note, grounded with a warm fuzzy base. For anyone sad about Armani Code Cashmere being discontinued, I'd strongly recommend checking out l'Interdit Rouge (which is an equally stunning scent, with really incredible longevity).
