Can I just say wow. this blind buy did not disappoint. Even though it's not listed I do feel like I get gardenia vibe from this jasmine honeysuckle combo and I love that. The dry down of the vanilla amber and sandalwood is so creamy on my skin w just the right amount of sweetness from the orange notes and the plum! this fragrance is absolutely beautiful. Also, I get zero grapefruit from this which I was hoping for because it would seem extremely misplaced amongst this combo.. somebody earlier mentioned grape accord which seems a lot more aligned with how this comes across. 100 adore this scent. love love love
I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with this perfume at all. I got this on a very cheap bundle and I didn’t pay much attention to it initially because the bottle cap reminded me of old ecclesiastical ornaments, and somehow that scared me and left it untouched, secured somewhere behind my collections. But wow oh wow! I decided to give it a chance and I was honestly shaken to the core with how much I love this perfume! I can picture Victorian era women wearing this scent. She’s vintage, she’s regal, she’s gorgeous, she’s wealthy, and yet she screams femininity and delicateness like no other! The opening is surely a floral bomb and juicy citrus fruits. Honeysuckle, orange flower, and jasmine fight for dominance, while the grape, plum and orange notes gang up together. It’s a party of juicy fruits adjacent to a brawl of white flowers. This smells heavenly to me! The dry down is still the scuffle of white flowers but the sweet amber enters the picture, and so does the woody notes. It takes you to a wonderful olfactory journey. I do agree that she smells mature, and will surely be more appealing to older women, but I really don’t care. This perfume somehow gives me peace, which is funny because I love layering it with the Juicy Couture EDP, which gives me the creeps due to the haunting lilies and tuberose notes. But together, they work perfectly to make an ultra-feminine scent. This easily lasts me more than 12 hours on my skin, and even longer on clothes, although the projection is only average. But regardless, this is a scent I loved smelling on me so that’s fine. Love this so much!
Firstly, the person who decided to put this pink ribbon on the bottle: jail. Straight to the jail . Lucky, it's not glued. Take it off: and you have a prettiest vintage Victorian style falcon. So much better! This been said, I enjoy this parfum. So underrated treasure! If you like white flowers, blooming honeysuckle, first hot summer days, you will love it. It remind me of acacia trees in bloom. Holds on me for 2 h, with intimate projection. I do not mind, as work with sensitive to smells colleges.
This is a a heavy duty honeysuckle perfume. It scratches that itch for a clean sexy womanly floral perfume for springtime. It lasts a while too and has a nice scent bubble.
I got this, because this has been lauded as a dupe for the Body Shop's discontinued "Neroli Jasmine", which I really used to like. I guess I don't remember it so well, because the resemblance didn't STRIKE me, but thinking about it, it's definitely there. I truly only smell the neroli and the jasmine, when it comes to notes, maaybe a little bit of a soapy drydown. It kind of reminds me a little bit of Zoologist's "Orchid Mantis", but without the stank of a bathroom. Whether it's an old lady scent - it depends on what you associate with old ladies, I guess. I see it more as a clean girl perfume, and it would suit more of a Glossier type bottle or smth, but not the extravagant gold one imo. Edit. This also kind of has the profile of most Prada "Paradoxes", but without the bit of unpleasant aftertaste they have.
Since my review is buried way way down below I thought I'd give a reminder of these notes.... Fragrantica has them all correct EXCEPT the grapefruit is actually *pink grape accord*. Those are not the same thing. So that (& maybe the plum) is what gives this scent such a grapy lean. As I said, just a reminder. ;)
Another purchase I got to make for myself! It's really unique, personally one of my favorite non-VLJ juicy perfumes!! Very regal, kinda high-class, but still has that cute and hyper-fem girly touch that almost all JC perfumes have. The strong honeysuckle and plum notes...i could smell them over and over!!! Something about it is really addicting to me...I don't know why I love this perfume so much considering I can see how people think it's synthetic and gaudy but i genuinely love it nonetheless <3 The bottle I got was missing that cute charm the zipper had though T_T
It smells like perfume from 00's or 90's. It's a classic and beautiful white floral-plum perfume. It brings nostalgia and something peaceful, breezy, and distant in someway. If you miss those era, please find this perfume as you can.
Bought a bottle recently from Ross. Box says it's distributed by EA Fragrance Co. and sadly the bottle didn't have the ribbon and charm. First spray was undeniably gardenia with honeysuckle and citrus coming through. It faintly reminded me of Black (for women) by Kenneth Cole. Reading the comments I was hopeful that it wouldn't become an old lady scent. But about 20 minutes later it dried down to just that. Sort of reminiscent of perfumes my mom would wear in the 90s like Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers. It's tolerable but definitely not something I'd use too often. I think this would make a nice scent to layer and build upon with other fragrances because I just love white florals. Worth trying if you're a fan of white florals, otherwise stick to Viva la Juicy.
This is the very first perfume I’ve ever bought in my life with my own money 🥹 It’s very beautiful and minty but for the past for teens now I’m in my 30s I still love it
This was gifted to me by my mother- smells absolutely old and foul :( the sweetness is much too acrid and tacky at the same time
I loveee this perfume, one of the first perfumes I really fell in love with. When I was very young my friend gifted me a roller ball keychain with this scent and I cherished it for years until I was able to buy a bottle. Very hard to come by now, so I use it sparingly. I see lots of people saying it smells like an old lady, I personally love those "old lady" scents. It's a perfectly balanced floral and citrus with a musk underneath. Smells mature but still young and vibrant. Plus the bottle is gorgeous.
Smells like a dollar store perfume somebody's grandma would buy. I haven't used it since the day I brought it now it's just decor.
The bottle is stunning, but.... It smells like a vintage perfume. Very heavy, in your face, and VERY floral. Too old fashion for my taste.
I've recently used up a sample of this and while it doesn't blow me away, it is one of those kinds of perfumes every woman (who likes perfumes) should own: simple and pretty. This one is a sweet, creamy floral. Very nice!
If you want to smell like your grandmother, this scent is for you, it has that old-vibe bna perfume that lasts super long and it reminds me very much of the perfumes my grandma used to wear, it was a blind buy and although I regret it, I keep it and spay it sometimes just for the sake of memory
I lovez this perfume, one of my favorites!! Honestly Viva La Juicy is out of my price range, however I got this perfume as a present and I've cherished it ever since My first thought when I sprayed this perfume was 'mmmm.. she expensive', and if rich white lady was a profile than she would be IT. But I also like that this perfume is just the right amount of classy, fruity, and sweet. It's a tart, almost boozy perfume, and it almost smells like lemons. Almost like a citrusy bottle of champagne I don't like to wear this on its own, just because my signature scent is cotton candy. However, I find that it blends really well with candy scents: like Pink Sugar, Sweet Like Candy, Prada Candy.. etc. It really accents those perfumes well and gives them a pop!
Got sooo many compliments with this perfume, I feel like a rich white lady partying on a yacht with a cheating husband. It lasts sm longer than I thought it would and almost licorice like? Idk. Buy it or I will steal it.
this was my first ever failed blind buy. I bought this when i first started getting into perfumes about 4 years ago andddd this scared me. like i have borderline ptsd from how nauseous this made me. this screamed granny and im not trying to bash the scent itself or older women (y’all are queens <3) because scent is subjective but this was an absolute never again. -10
Funny, a reviewer described this as grandma. I’m a grandma and I’d have to agree lol. It’s a mature scent. White or yellow florals with amber give me that impression. I like them, they remind me of my mom and the 90’s, but they’re not my favorite type of scent. Couture Couture is in the same family as Poeme, Just Cavelli and Amariage. All sisters. A like for me, but Poeme is my favorite.
idk this one switches around. sometimes it smells like slightly alcoholic pucker powder . pucker powder brand specifically . and im in love with it but sometimes it just smells like what a generic white flower with orange flecks looks like which im less in love with but isnt bad
I purchased this blindly from the TJ Maxx discount shelves years ago when I couldn’t afford much else. I always thought Juicy Couture scents were somewhat “teenie bopper” scents but it was marked down for maybe $10-$15 so I figured why not, I’ll wear it for work if I don’t love it. When I got it home and opened it, I was pleasantly surprised! This was not an overly youthful fruity scent. In fact, it’s pretty sophisticated! I did wear it to work, and I work in close proximity to the public. I was so surprised I got loads of compliments on it! It lasted all day too! As I said, that was years ago! After it was used up, I never looked for it again, I figured it had been discontinued which is how it ended up on clearance at a discount store. I recently decided to repurchase all my memorable scents through the years if I could track them down. I was surprised to find this one! I had no idea it was still in production and I am so happy about it! I still love it! It smells exactly as I remember! This smells way more expensive than it is. I think I got 100ml for $25! It could easily be a signature scent! It’s flirty, yet classy and in my opinion, the best one in the juicy couture line that I’ve smelled so far!
Just bought this. It’s super pretty! It’s sugary, warm, floral, and cozy. I think this is the perfect spring and summer scent.
Love this!!! Unexpectedly classy and sophisticated but delicious.
Couture Couture is the first perfume I ever owned. Did I have any business wearing this as an 11 year old? Definitely not. This is not a childish scent. Nonetheless, Couture Couture makes me think of my childhood: my pink flip phone, layered tank tops, flip flops, biking down to the pier in the summertime, donning sunglasses that were way too big for my head. 16 years later and I still think Couture Couture is lovely. It's warm, floral, clean. My original bottle smells just as I remembered. I'm wearing it today, and I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. In some ways, I think Couture Couture laid the groundwork for my fragrance palate. Jasmine, honeysuckle, amber, vanilla. I like a bit more bite and complexity in my fragrances now, but that won't stop me from revisiting an old favourite. I think Couture Couture is an ideal fragrance for springtime - it inspires warmth and excitement as the world is waking up. It has a golden, nectar-like quality to it. It doesn't feel perfume-y, powdery, or overly bright. It smells friendly, if that makes sense. It's just lovely and easy to wear.
adore I absolutely wanted to participate in the iconic luxury trashy aesthetic of Juicy Coture, this campy chimera with a classical soul satisfied both this need and that of having a good performing and not too youthful perfume. The packaging does not reflect the fragrance, which translates on my skin as a flowery coconut (even if there's no coconut in the notes) not very unique but pleasant nonetheless
Couture Couture definitely stands out in the Juicy Couture line; it is not in line with their typical scents. That being said, JC is one of my favorite perfume lines and Couture Couture, although different, I do enjoy. In terms of notes, this is a perfume for jasmine lovers. It is a white floral scent, with a warm but not musky or vanillie heart. Maybe the warmth I'm getting is from the honeysuckle instead. You also get plum but not in a grape soda way. It is definitely not gourmand, but very floral feminine; not modern, but not grandma-perfume either. I would say it is mature, vintage, and somewhat oriental? It is light enough to not cause a headache. Could be a signature perfume or a special occasions one. For me, although I do enjoy it, I would not call it my signature fragrance because of the slight powdery scent it has. I don't get anything fresh or citrusy like others do, but more white floral sweet. Longevity is ok, but it doesnt extend beyond your arm. Price point is excellent. I guess it can be worm in every season, day or night.
Almost has a classic scent, smells mature but fun in the best way possible
This perfume smells like a sun burn but in a good way
To me, this fragrance smells like musk, sherbet and faintly of grapes, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. It smells very elegant and has the perfect amount of sweetness and musk. It’s clearly feminine, and it brings comfort to whoever smells it. My grand kids really like the way this smells. Even though I suspect the musk note reminds everyone in the room that yes, I am in fact a grandma, I don’t mind.. also if you’re younger than I don’t worry you won’t smell like an old grandma wearing this.. what really makes you smell old is just being old. My good friend once said I smelled like a bubble bath- in a good way, and I agree. As gorgeous as it is, I’ve been wearing this for years, so I tend to wear other fragrances now, but this will always have a place in my heart and my fragrance collection. When I smell this is just makes me think of a woman that has her life together; she has a good job, a nice home, she has a purpose and most importantly she looks after herself. This may be weird to say, but this smells how I wish my mother smelled when I was a kid… instead she wore talcum powder and over dabbed her harsh florals. In my opinion, this is a well crafted scent and it is simply gorgeous. I’m surprised some people don’t like this one. If I die wearing this, I would be happy with that.
