OG REVIEW: I am trusting that this needs to sit bc on first spray it is not working for me. It smells excessive, like it can give me a headache and a stomachache at the same time…. that will turn into a migraine and I will throw up. Sorry that’s so descriptive. It smells old to me, extremely sweet, like fruits that have rotten so the sugar concentration is high in them. I get a sharp jasmine, I get the cleaning products. Ugh I hope it works in the future I will update this review. 2 WEEK UPDATE: sprayed it out on my bathroom courtain to let more air in it and now my bathroom smells nice. Still not a like. 5 MONTH UPDATE: I can now tolerate this bc it has gotten softer, more blended, still haven’t worn it on my skin. I would try it tho. Still smells like sweet cleaning products tho
I own a lot of lattafas and I love most of them. This smells like toilet sweet water. Like a sweet restroom that has just been clean, but somehow it manages to smell like fluroide and toilet water. I absolutely could never wear this outside the house smelling like bathroom. The comment below me is spot on too! It doesn't even smell like soap, just straight toilet water that has just been cleaned with cleaning products. The dry down is worse: it just smells like toilet water with no sweetness. It's absolutly horrible. This is the type of gift you give a person you secretly hate. Absolutely everyone's worst nightmare.
Right off the opening smells exactly like my local public library’s bathroom. Pink soap and tootsie roll. As it dries down it does it progressively better. I just cannot get the library bathroom out of my head
I like it. It’s a better version of killians love don’t be shy. It’s brighter/cleaner smelling.
There is no freshness to my nose. The fruit is there, the flowers are there. But there is a glucose syrup accord that is just poured over everything. I guess that is the candy. Its nauseating. I love Lattafa for amber, sandalwood and spices. I have yet to find a fresh bright solar scent from this house. I will declutter this soon.
Ansaam ("Gentle breeze'' in arabic) Gold, by Lattafa Perfumes, smells like pink marshmallows, Turkish delight, sakura flowers, a refreshing jasmine, a matte rose and a drop of sour mandarin juice. It smells 80% like Love Don't Be Shy. A very good smelling duplicate, for a very good price. You don’t get the brûlée scent from Love Don’t Be Shy, Ansaam Gold is fresher and more flowery.
I bought this back in december and instantly liked it, now i'm in love with it, i've never smelled Oriana so I can't say if its an accurate dupe but I have Love Dont Be Shy and I wouldn't say this is a dupe in my opinion. To me Ansaam Gold opens up fruity and citrusy and slightly sharp i'm guessing that's the mandarin, and as it starts to settle into the mid notes I start to get this very sweet almost bubblegummy quality and a very powdery marshmallowy sweetness, the rose and jasmine provide a soft pretty feminine vibe. I also detect some orange blossom in here even though its not listed in the notes but that could be the mandarin and jasmine tricking my nose, Overall this is a very pretty and soft sweet scent but I can definitely see how this could come across as "too mature" or "old lady like" to some so I would say try to get a sample of it first before commiting to a full bottle. Edit: I forgot to mention the projection on this is amazing, my mom says she smells it all the way in the next room everytime I wear it lol, also i get about 5 hours of wear on my skin and 8+ hours on my clothes.
I have almost all of the dupes and this one is number 2 on my list after ”Ard Al Zaafaran - Meethaq”. It’s sweet, girly and ”light”. Not long lasting at all though. I’ll give this one a strong 7/10!
Pleasing, fun, playful.
Opens with aromatic mandarin. Fresh, sweet and very feminine. The bottle doesn't match the smell, it tricked me into thinking this would be a heavier or darker fragrance. It's actually very light and summer / day appropriate.
Sweet raspberry with rose. Not bad doesn't have any screechy notes like other lattafa scent.
Smells like sweet burnt tires
I just don't get the hype, its very much basic with a harsh opening.
this reminds me of a fragrance that would've been popular in the 90s. its sweet, powdery, & definitely has some warmth to it. it is elegant & smooth but not my style of perfume. i'm noticing a pattern that pear always turns sickeningly sweet on my skin & i am not a fan of the rose in this fragrance.
Jet-puffed-Powdered sugar & white petals soft, sweet, and velvety smooth. The prominent sugared note is dominant but pleasing & the combination of jasmine & rose can evoke a familiar soapiness/ powdered quality. Not detergent or anything abrasive but a creamy nostalgic cleanliness (if you read the fragrance notes on a dove bar it all makes sense). The fruit, musk and vanilla in this composition really add body and anchor the sweet powdered airiness. There is a “synthetic” quality to the composition akin to the sweetness found in confectioners sugar. This isn’t harsh to my nose… just easy & playful. This fragrance is a complex, easy wearing, sugared floral. The jasmine & rose aren’t green or indolic. It's pure sweetness in a way that evokes vintage violet candies & unapologetic girlishness. Yet the girlishness is gentle enough to seam refined & appropriate for any age. She’s an American girl tea party, complete with flower scented, white frosted cakes. Lace glove girlish as opposed to Lisa frank & limited too. For the price point this is a lovely buy. Definitely comparable to the PDM dna with good projection and longevity. One of the most well blended/ balanced middle eastern fragrances I’ve tried thus far. Considering PDM has been duped to the moon their 400 dollar price point makes this fragrance an absolute no brainer if you want to add some sweet powdered florals to your collection.
Smells like LDBS as described by someone who has only ever seen influencers describe its smell.
کیفیت بسیار پایینی داره اگر فکر می کنید دارید مشابه کیفیت مارلی یا کیلیان رو می خرید اشتباه می کنید بخاطر کیفیتش ساختش زود خسته می شوید
This is an absolute dupe for Oriana, the opening is a slightly sharp citrus but once it settles into the base notes you genuinely can’t distinguish the two unless you have a highly trained nose. Oriana settles slightly softer whereas Ansam has a bit more of a potent sillage. In terms of projection I do feel like they both are pretty one to one. But this is a stunning dupe, and will definitely be something I reach for this summer.
Stunning, longlasting. Unique in its own way, but a great Unique
This was a fail for me. Smelled soapy and overpoweringly floral, like a cheap bathroom air freshener. I don't get anything but headache inducing soapy florals! If this is what LDBS or Oriana smell like, I don't want anything to do with them 😂
I didn't like this fragrance when I first got it. I put it in maturation jail for a year. I got it out yesterday and tested it on skin. It is lovely now. I put it on before bed and woke up this morning with it still on my skin. I find it to be somewhat linear. It opened soft, sweet, and well blended. It isn't too sweet or too soft. I really like this now, but it has taken a full year.
Just to give you an illustration of how bad this smells, I posted it in my neighborhood Buy Nothing group, and a few hours later the girl I gave it to reposted it. I don’t get any of the top notes, all I smell are overpowering white florals. It comes across extremely mature and dated to me. I definitely can’t recommend this as a blind buy, and it smells nothing like Love Don’t Be Shy.
Ansaam Gold ⚡️Bright top heavy citrus floral that collapses quickly due to weak structural base support ⚡️Burns your nose at first (aldehydic) and then oranges and a warm golden light skin scent light florals behind the orange and some amber warmth, fades quick to very subtle and slightly thin and within minutes barely detectable sticky sweet residue that I guess would be very office safe😂. I prefer my skin scents to have some beauty, substance, depth or interesting identity like choco musk, wanderlust, rose + honey, yara, shadh, heck even guess girl has a bright sweetness, that does not burn your nose and endures with a sweet fruity floral scent for hours. If I want orange I will reach for leonie or tharwah gold (libre dupes). With this you are paying for 15 seconds of a nose burn, 30 seconds of oranges and then a sticky residue with faint white florals and sugar.
I just received Ansaam Gold. Right out of the box I get soapy jasmine. It's not a bad perfume at all. It's nice, just not what I expected. I was hoping for a marshmallowy, sweet, fruity perfume. Instead I get a sweet, soapy jasmine. It's a pretty perfume, but I was anticipating something very different due to reading the previous reviews and watching a few videos by influencers. I will be curious to see if this changes with maceration.
Obsessed. Smells identical to oriana by Parfums de marly. They smell the exact same, and this one even has better performance!
For me, this is a very subtle, sweet fragrance. Very office friendly, nothing about it is loud or screechy but at the same time nothing about it is super eye-catching or nose-catching. It's very pleasant and warm!
Ansaam Gold is a stunning blind buy success that defies simple categorization. While often marketed toward women, it has a clear unisex appeal for anyone who loves a sophisticated, sweet-leaning fragrance that smells like pure luxury. The opening is a bright, juicy duo of pear and mandarin that makes it an absolute standout for spring and summer, feeling airy and uplifting rather than heavy. As it develops, the heart of jasmine and candy-like sweetness transitions into a smooth, musky raspberry and vanilla base that lingers for hours. It’s versatile enough to be a year-round signature, but it truly shines in warmer weather where the fruity notes can really 'pop.' I can't stop smelling myself, this is easily one of the best-blended gems in my collection. Dare I say on me this fragrance smells expensive.
I'm exploring Lattafa Perfumes after blind-buying "Teriaq Intense" and really liking it. I wasn't quite sure where to begin. So, I decided to purchase several of Lattafa's most hyped fragrances. I read all the social media hype about Ansaam Gold. So, I thought "why not??" Ansaam Gold is definitely a lovely gorgeous scent. Having owned/own and worn PdM "Oriana," By Killian "Love Don't Be Shy" and (several bottles of) Memo Paris "Sintra," I'd say Ansaam Gold is DEFINITELY in a similar wheelhouse. For me, Ansaam Gold is 95% Oriana. I will never again pay the retail price for any PDM perfume. Ansaam Gold is an uber-feminine, soft, sweet, creamy, vanilla, fruity, orange blossom fragrance. I'd say sweet notes, marshmallow accord, vanilla and wonderful orange blossom dominate the fragrance. A perfect and affordable alternative to LDBS, Oriana, or Sintra. And as I've experienced with several Lattafa dupes, Ansaam Gold's performance (strength, duration, intensity) is stellar. I've allowed my bottles of Ansaam Gold to settle and the perfume's quality and performance greatly improve with time. Ansaam Gold is very pretty! I love it! I love it!
I decided to be in the arabic trend and finally boght three arabic perfumes, this is one of them My intuition is always right!Synthetic, strong ,sweet and just straight from top to bottom.I knew it,but i wanted to be 100% sure.It doesn't matter how good and how close to the original are-they lack the sophistication of the designer's or niche perfumes and they will never be that good.I think i will stay only with these three and use them with not a great pleasure.I prefer to give more money to buy the original insted of an arabic perfume. P.S.By the way the other arabic i have is Jawhara Golden nectar and actually i really really like it!Probably ,because Coty is the perfume house and it is arabic "wanna be" perfume Very very nice one for the lovers of warm white flowers
Very powdery floral. Smells like airport bathroom.
